The doors on both ends opened, and Miles barely contained a shriek as Chris Walker entered through the right side and instantly started punching the glass. Miles stumbled back and fell onto his ass just as Walker broke through the glass and lept into the room. Miles scrambled to his feet turned around, spied a vent, and ran to it. Miles quickly scrambled through the vent, landed on the floor below, and ran.

Miles shut a gate behind him in hopes of slowing down Walker, glancing over his shoulder as he did so, and nearly screamed when he saw how close Walker was.

Just as he was about to run past a doorway engulfed in flames, said door exploded, causing Miles to be thrown backwards out of a window. Miles screamed as he fell and landed heavily on a pile of bloodied, broken bodies below. The rough impact knocked the wind out of him, but his wheezy groans of pain quickly turned into gasps of terror as his brain finally registered what he landed on.

"Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What…the hell?" Miles wheezed as he grabbed his camcorder and stumbled to his feet. Miles ran out of the room and froze when he saw that he had run into another cell block, and began looking around, using the night vision on his camcorder. Not even a moment later, a loud thud echoed, followed by clinking chains.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," Miles whispered fearfully as Walker began looking for him.

"I'm coming. You won't have to kill yourself. I'll make the pain stop," Walker growled as Miles somehow managed to sneak around him without making any sort of noise.

Seeing a staircase, Miles made his way toward it, very aware that Walker was nearby. Miles got to the second level, and started looking for an opening of some kind.

"Come out," Walker growled darkly.

Not a chance. You're crazy insane. You shouldn't be able to have coherent thought, Miles thought as he finally got to a different hallway. Unfortunately, Walker was quickly approaching.

"...one to bleed," Walker rasped before spotting him, and bashing the door between them down. Miles wasted no time, booked it down the halls, and managed to lose Walker by squeezing through a gap and crawling through another gap between some bedframes.

"Oh, thank God. He's gone," Miles gasped in relief as he stumbled upon the place where he saw Walker ripping the guy's head off. Miles looked around at the deformed Variants who were still alive, shaking the bars of their cells and shouting.

"Silky. You look so silky. Let me just...I need to tell you a secret," a muffled voice said, and Miles looked at the Variant wearing a straightjacket coming toward him.

"No, thanks," Miles muttered as he clambered up to the second level, using a few bedframes.

"Nurse! Nurse! I'm gonna need some help getting clean. Nurse..." a Variant called out before chuckling darkly, but Miles ignored him as he rounded a corner. Suddenly, a Variant lunged at him, grabbing him, causing Miles to grunt in surprise before shoving the Variant over the nearby ledge. Miles shimmed across a ledge, and jumped onto the floor on the other side.

Miles ran up another set of stairs, and shimmied across another ledge, yelling out when he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck. Miles quickly ripped the arms off him, swinging around to see the Variant grab at him through the cell bars. Miles dodged out of the way just in time, his heart pounding in his chest.

Miles followed a blood trail to a hole in the ground, and jumped down, gasping softly when he saw a dark cloud zoom passed in a lower room. Miles went downstairs, swallowing heavily when he saw the word Walrider written on the walls repeatedly in blood.

The word "Walrider" is all over this place. Murkoff was running an experiment here called PROJECT WALRIDER, but the patients talk about the Walrider like it's a physical presence. A spirit or demon. Something they found in the mountain. I'd chalk it up to schizophrenic delusions, but I just saw something. Maybe. Maybe it was a glitch in the camera. Or maybe this place is getting to me, Miles thought nervously before continuing to follow the blood.

Miles jumped through another hole in the ground, and quickly found himself in the sewers.

"Find a way out of the sewers. That'll be easy," Miles muttered sarcastically under his breath. Miles crawled through a small space and emerged into a dimly lit tunnel filled with murky water.

The stench was overpowering, but Miles knew he had to keep moving forward to find his way out. The second he stood up, a black, shadowy figure zoomed past, sending a chill down his spine. Miles hesitated for a moment, but then reminded himself that he needed to find an exit quickly before he was killed.

Miles quickly passed through a gap, entering a lit up area with a passageway that was filled with water. With a soft groan, Miles realized he would have to flush the water out in order to continue his escape. As he searched for a way to drain the tunnel, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched.

Miles walked forward a few feet only to stumble to a stop when he spotted a familiar figure land on the ground.

"Oh, fuck me. It's Walker," Miles breathed out fearfully. He must have stood there too long because Walker spotted him and gave chase. Miles scrambled to find a way to drain the water quickly, his heart pounding in his chest as he heard Walker's footsteps growing closer behind him. The urgency of the situation pushed Miles to move faster, knowing that his escape depended on outsmarting his pursuer. Miles managed to squeeze through a gap just in time, gasping for breath.

Miles entered a nearby room, grinning with relief when he saw a drain for the female ward. Miles quickly turned it, nodded in satisfaction when a hissing noise sounded. Miles went back out, and crawled through a small space, stopping short when he saw Walker standing there.

Miles waited till Walker left before continuing on his escape route, his heart still racing with adrenaline. Eventually, Miles found the other drain, and turned the valve, evading Walker the entire time. Miles quickly clambered down the ladder in the water free passageway, reaching a lower level of the sewers.
