Serious Question:
Is there a problem with this story? Because so far as I've been updating, I've been seeing only one or two people out of my 30+ followers leaving reviews. So far, I've been silent about the lack of feedback up until now because I've appreciate them even though it wasn't a lot. But now, it's like I'm writing to a dead audience and it feels like whatever I'm doing isn't good enough, no matter how much blood, sweat, and tears I put into each chapter of this story. I'm sorry that it sounds harsh, but this is just me expressing my frustration towards myself because I feel like the reason why a lot of people aren't reviewing my story because it sucks LOL. I've been up all night all the way up till 6 A.M., writing and editing the 12th chapter, even make sure it's properly written for everyone to read and let me tell you, I was dead tired LMAO.
I've said it once and I'll gladly say it again. There are number of reasons why a lot of readers don't leave behind reviews after finishing a chapter.
1. They're shy or anxious and afraid of saying something that might offend the author.
2. They prefer to review at the end of a story so they can talk about the narrative as a whole.
3. They think they have to leave an entire essay in their reviews.
The list continues.
So let's talk about it. Is the story bad? Do I need to change something in the story, like the plot, the characters, or anything? Do I need to take Honoka or any of the characters out of the story? Better yet, do I need to improve my grammar and my writing?
I know I've disallowed these types of engagement in the past, but I'll gladly allow flames, constructive or harsh criticism. If it's gonna help me improve, I'll gladly accept them.
