In the highest reaching penthouse in the most expensive area of Metropolis was home to none other than the Luthor family; whose patriarch Lex Luthor ran the biggest and most successful company in the city and possibly the country as well. In the massive living area on the couch was the Mrs Luthor sitting down drinking her expensive wine while watching the news on the TV.
She was watching with a glare as it showed Wonder Woman fighting various monsters and also rescuing people from accidents as well as helping wheelchair bound people cross the streets. "Said to be the daughter of the mythical Wonder Woman who helped the US during World War I as well as a warrior princess of the amazons; the leader of the Super Friends serves as a shining beacon helping save the day whether it be fighting monsters or just helping people in need." Snapper Carr was narrating over the footage.
It showed a tall muscular teenage red haired girl wearing a yellow athletics jumpsuit stealing a basketball from a small child and laughed as she then got it out of her reach with the kid trying in vain to jump at it while crying. Wonder Woman then appeared sternly tying up the bully with the Lasso and smiled as she gave the basketball back to the child.
"We are all sharing the same world and we should all be brothers, sisters and siblings with one another. I am an ambassador of truth and kindness and I will do what is needed of me; whether it is slaying a beast or just helping out someone in need. Only those that seek to do harm should fear me." Wonder Woman said seriously when asked for a comment by a reporter.
"Not since Superman have we seen someone so powerful, amazing so kind who can inspire us all... She is truly Metropolis' own Wonder Woman..." Snapper said as Mrs Luthor broke the glass by squeezing it hard furiously.
"She's the Wonder Woman? She is no wonder woman... My mother was a dancer who dropped out of college; I had to track my father down and figure out how to blackmail him to get the money that I needed to start up my own company... It become millions times worth than what I had used and I have donated to so much charities... I am the American success story made flesh along with my husband... We both married and merged our companies together... If there is a wonder woman then it is I... Veronica Cale-Luthor..." Mrs Luthor snapped as running in was what looked like a duplicate of Superman only with white stone like skin and the S on his suit was backwards.
"Lena no hurt Bizarro's feelings! Bizarro feeling no sad!" the figure cried as storming in looking annoyed was Lena followed by a stern Lex Luthor.
"Lena honey; what did you say to your brother?" Veronica asked as Lena stomped her foot.
"That freak is not my brother! He is just some failed clone of Superman that daddy made! He is even more of a brainless brutish dolt than Otis!" Lena snapped back as Veronica pinched her nose as Luthor looked at Lena sternly.
"Lena; go to your room and think about what you have done... As well as study as... Looking at those grades you brought home today... Remember what I said?" Luthor asked sternly as Lena sighed.
"A C is the lowest I am allowed to get; if I ever get D or lower then I'm out of the will whatever that is..." Lena recited as Luthor nodded and Lena stormed to her room.
"Bizarro; please go to the lab and you can help daddy with something." Luthor called out to Bizarro who then nodded. "Kids these days... When I was her age; I was already planning on how to have my parents killed for the insurance..." Luthor laughed as he faced his wife and then noticed the news story on. "You are not complaining about the Wonder Woman again; are you..." Luthor asked with a huge sigh.
"She is unworthy of being called that; plus a teenager showing that much skin... Girls should inspire to be like me! I am the real wonder woman..." Veronica snapped as Luthor sighed.
"Honey listen... You're a Luthor and it's beneath you to be jealous of some teenager... You can't spend every waking minute obsessively hating some demigod hero that wears red and blue..." Luthor then said sounding agitatingly. "Now if you can please excuse me... With Bizarro's help; I am going to work on my newest scheme to kill Superman." Luthor then said as he got up and left with Bizarro with Veronica chuckling at the irony failing her husband at the moment.
"Ah Lex... You make me laugh..." Veronica said as she then got an idea; getting up she went to her personal laptop. "I remember..." Veronica muttered going onto a private server for Cale-Luthor Pharmaceuticals. She went to the top secret projects area and found a folder talking about an experimental strength enhancer that ended up being stronger than what was intended: caused the user to be able to increase their mass, bulk and strength at will or highly emotional but it left them highly angry while in use.
"Just need someone to use this on..." Veronica muttered and then had an idea; she went to the news footage showing the bully that Wonder Woman encountered. Scanning the face and cross examining her across the database and a match: Doris Zuel a Metropolis High student with a huge permanent record and police record. On parole from juvenile and her record for detentions is matched only by her best friend Leslie Willis.
"Why should Lex have all the fun creating super villains?" Veronica said smirking to herself as she put her hands together.
Inside the Quantum Unfolding Storage Area; Wonder Woman in full regalia was busy running across the obstacle course with great swiftness and speed. She then came to Lincoln in his Action Comics uniform who had a stopwatch. "Here you are decimating just about every record that I had ever set in the years that I spent training in this place." Lincoln said as Wonder Woman came up to him. "I just want to say thanks again for agreeing to make this scheduled appearance at the store Diana... Should bring plenty of customers; more than enough that I can make sure that Chris gives me that raise that he promised me." Lincoln said gratefully but Wonder Woman shook her head.
"It's no trouble at all Lincoln; being able to help my friend/brother in arms as well as get to meet the people that I am sworn to protect up close is my upmost pleasure!" Wonder Woman then told him as then going into the area was Chris.
"If you are done training then I have a store full of customers ready to tear the place down if they don't see Wonder Woman in less than 5 minutes." Chris then spoke to them and Wonder Woman looked worried.
"They are ready to do so... Then we must meet them post haste!" Wonder Woman then said with a look of determination. "But I must say Chris; it is an honor to get to meet my friend's mentor and previous Peacemaker. You must have a wealth of experience and wisdom that you had given Lincoln." Wonder Woman said with a look of admiration and Lincoln whistled awkwardly and Chris accepted the offered hand shake from Wonder Woman.
"I am glad to meet the daughter of a hot World War I chick as well as one of the girls that Lincoln now lets train in his HQ." Chris replied and Wonder Woman gave him a look as Lincoln facepalmed.
"I can only imagine what turn of events that made you realise that you wished to wage a quest for peace; how you become what you were." Wonder Woman then said as Chris stared intently...
"No... I am sorry... I thought that you were... Please... I will do anything that you want..." Chris was muttering to himself with tears in his eyes seeing faces around and hearing voices but then found himself at a table handcuffed in a prisoner's uniform. He looked up to be facing an aged man in a military uniform giving him a stare. "Sorry... General Eiling isn't it? Tell me what this again please? I was totally paying attention but just so that we are clear..." Chris asked looking at the folder on the table that was labelled 'PROJECT: PEACEMAKER'.
"A secret military operation where we will put you and several other candidates through the most vigerous training ever... Drill you to fight in all forms of combat; get you into peak shape... Train you to be a one man army upon yourself... To don the uniform and act as a one man detergent against terrorists anarchists... To act as a 'peacemaker' for the world..." General Wade Eiling told him as Chris looked it over.
"You want to turn me into a superhero? I am not a superhero type..." Chris said as Eiling glared at him.
"I am well aware Sergeant Smith... Sorry; I forgot that you were court martialled and sent here... Unless you want to rot for the rest of your sentence; this is your way out Smith." Eiling then warned him as Chris thought it over.

"...you could say that... Anyway; let's go..." Chris then said as they then left through the door though Lincoln and Wonder Woman then followed them. The store was covered with Wonder Woman posters and banners with excited fans lined up. "Here she is now... Wonder Woman!" Chris introduced as Wonder Woman then greeted them with a smile and a friendly wave as she then went forward.
Doris was angrily lifting up some weights at the gym when Veronica came up to her. "Doris Zuel?" Veronica asked as Doris stopped and looked at her.
"Whatever of yours that I broke; bring it to my folks and their lawyer..." Doris told her rudely and then waved her to get lost.
"I see that you are someone who likes to work out and be big and strong; shame that you aren't strong enough to be a match for Wonder Woman." Veronica told her and Doris then got furious.
"Don't ever bring up that overhyped smug condescending do gooder in front of me again! If I could only put her in her place..." snapped Doris as Veronica then passed her a briefcase. Inside there was a black and yellow jumpsuit along with an injection needle; "What is this junk?" Doris then asked as Veronica started leaving.
"Something that will help you put Wonder Woman into her place." Veronica said simply as she then left and Doris looked at the injection needle. She then decided to try injecting it into her arm and she yelled in pain...
Lincoln was by the door of the store watching as Wonder Woman happily signed autographs and took pictures with her admirers. "Diana is getting a taste of the limelight; good for her." spoke Zee sounding genuine as the others entered through the door and Lincoln greeted them.
"We decided to make time to come here and support Diana. Looks like all of her fans have done the same; but it's not hard to see why she has no many admirers." Jessica said smiling and Karen nodded enthusiastically.
"With her being so strong, brave and just all around amazing!" Barbara squealed with a jump on the spot.
"Not so strong though... All I'm saying is that if we were allowed to continue fighting in detention then I would have probably ending up beating her. Can she fly or use heat vision? No; then I rest my case as I could have used that and my better strength to beat her." Kara whispered with her arms folded as she got looks.
"Nice to see that you are as humble as Diana..." Lincoln sarcastically said as the girls snickered and Kara glared at him. They then heard smashing and people screaming outside. They then quickly went through the front door and found Doris bulkier and larger to the point where her height went up to the second floor of a building and wearing the jumpsuit.
"I am Giganta and I want Wonder Woman to show her that I'm so much stronger than she is!" growled Doris picking up a car and then tossing it far in front of her. Lincoln and the others nodded and left as Wonder Woman then quickly went through the front door looking determined.
"Ask and you shall receive foul villain; you shall answer to me if you decide to put innocent people in harm's way!" Wonder Woman declared as the citizens cheered. She then ran and had the Lasso of Truth ready to swing but Gigant caught it and used it to twirl Wonder Woman around her with her screaming and toss her right into a building. Diana fell anand got up and charged at Giganta only to be caught and squeezed as she held her torso with her hand.
Leslie was watching this grinning from the crowd of worried onlookers as Giganta taunted "not so strong now; are you Wonder Woman? Now I am much stronger and bigger than you are..." Then there were smoke grenades thrown at Giganta disorienting her as Batgirl appeared swopping in with her cape and throwing custom Batarangs to Giganta's eyes as Peacemaker charged forward with his shield and managed to use it to open Giganta's grip enough for Wonder Woman to get free.
Giganta managed to grab at them both with them struggling to get up but Wonder Woman then jumped and kicked Giganta in the face causing her grip to lessen. Then there was Bumblebee shooting blasts at her eyes disorienting her.
"Get away Super Dweebs... I only want to crush Wonder Woman... Stay out of this..." snapped Giganta but then she saw the streets covered with Wonder Women identical to her and and in the same pose. She went to grab at them but they disappeared as they were illusions to her confusion.
"Try and find the real one first." Zatanna said floating by and Wonder Woman went to run and jump kick at her. Giganta went to pick up a truck to throw at her but a green construct fist by Limelight caught it and Giganta was kicked har din the face.
The Super Friends were standing together looking brave against her and she snarled; "This is a cheat... You didn't beat me Wonder Woman! You needed your loser friends to help you!" snapped Giganta as the crowd was cheering on them.
"Help from your friends against a strong foe is never a cheat Giganta; you should always count on your friends!" Wonder Woman retorted and Giganta turned and ran and managed to leap away before they could catch her.
"Always next time friends..." Wonder Woman told them as the Super Friends looked annoyed that she escaped but then the crowd went up to them to congratulate them and take pictures as they made their victory poses.
"There they are the Super Friends and if you can come inside Action Comics then you can buy something for them to autograph!" Chris called out from the door and Peacemaker shook his head amused at his mentor's shilling.
Veronica looked upset upon seeing the Super Friends beat Giganta on the news before she calmed down; "No matter... I see that Wonder Woman isn't infallible and there is always next time..." Veronica said as Luthor went up to her sternly with his arms folded.
"I heard from our chauffeur that you went to turn someone into a super villain for your childish grudge my dear. This obsession must be stopped before it gets out of hand; wasting resources on this won't be good for you and I must stop it now." Luthor said as Veronica shook her head.
"Pot; meet kettle and I must ask you a question dear husband... Does this sound familiar to you... Sexx Luthor?" Veronica asked and suddenly Luthor's eyes widened with a hint of shocked panic. "I know very well the lengths you went to in order to try and erase all evidence of your high school band but I managed to find a copy of your talent show performance and the single you made... Copies put into servers where only I know the location of. Make of that information what you will... Sexy Lexy." Veronica said simply but with a threatening edge to her voice as Luthor was silent.
"We all need our hobbies my dear; please continue." Luthor said as he left and Veronica smirked to herself.
"Wonder Woman... She only won because of her back up... She could never beat me alone... I will have to find her alone and beat her then..." Giganta snapped shrinking down back to Doris in an alleyway but then a nearby power line started sparking and out came Livewire who went to greet her. She had her skin and hair turned back to normal as Doris muttered "Leslie... Is that you? You have changed..."
"The same could be said about you Doris... I saw you make a fool out of Wonder Woman before her friends showed up and I want to tell you... Those Super Friends made a fool out of me as well and we should fix that since after all... You should always count on your friends!" Leslie told her and Doris then thought about it and smirked. They then started cackling together...
I was originally when writing this story going to have Lex's wife just be the Luthor mother from the show but I decided it to be Veronica Cale the Lex Luthor for Diana created in the Greg Rucka Wonder Woman run but didn't succeed very well at being it in the stories though she ended up being better in the DC Rebirth era.
Yes the reference to the 2nd Robot Chicken DC Comics Special was made and I have no regrets.
