"Ssshhhhhh, if mom and Sergant Pepper find out, we snuck out alomg with taking dad's guitar, they'll groubd us for eternity." Juliet Nirohita said to her brother, John Nirohita as he was holding their dad's old guitar as they'd taken it for their band.. It was after midnight and past curfew which made both kits roll their eyes sneaking back into the house knowing their parents were aslee going to their rooms falling asleep on their beds unaware their dad's old guitar was in Joyn'sroom which would be a dead giveaway they'd been out past curfew hoping their dad wouldn't catch them as he'd freak out compared to their mom who was cool about their late-night antics plus she knew about the band they had with Teefs Parkercoon being their drummer.
"Waky, juice and pancakeies." Rocke's voice sang from downstairs making John and Juliet awaken, feeling annoyed and tired wondering if Teefs was feeling tge same but their aunts Itsy and Shocket were cool if Teefs brome curfew coming downstairs entering the kitchen not enjoying their father's perkiness sensing they'd snuckout, stayed out past curfew and snuck back in later so was making them coffee to wake them up mentally surprising Rocke, his kits drank coffee now which surprised him. He remembered them bring lil and thinking coffee was trash sensing their tastes had matured which Piper saw the expression on his face sighing knowing this would happen.
"Well they do honey, they acquired the taste for it while you were gone, like them becoming punky guys." Piper said making him tea which he thanked her for seeing the kits eating waffles and not Piper's lovingly made Beatlescakes with him as the fifth Beatle which Rocket had told her and the kits aboht seeing the kits putting maple syrup on their waffles and being tired, hungry teenaged kits, they didn't notice the frown on their dad's face and his whiskers drooped a lil which Piper could see
"Dad, we kinda stopped eating mom's special pancakes after starting middle-school. Pluswe're eeting Teefs for ohr group project after school. That's cool, right mom." Juilet told Piper seeing her nodding making Rocke frowning. "I thought we were gonna spend together." he said.
"Well summer's almost here, so we can have family bonding time over summer break." Piper reassured him seeing John and Juilet put their dishesin the sink after being finished grabbing their backpacks and their lunches seeing John carrying a guitar case making him curious.
"Okay wegotta go, or we're gonna be late for school." John told them asthey left for school hearing Rocke sighing as he hoped the kits would have a good day seeing they needed groceries so he and Piper were going to thestore having fun making Piper giggle, as Rocke was pushing the cart which was helpful and she appreciated it unaware seeing an infant kit was majing him remember bumping into lil him and Piper in the alternate universe hearing Piper snap oht of it. "Sorry honey let's keep going honey." he told her kissing her furry cheek making her giggle.
But at home, Rocke noticed his old guitar was missing asking Piper if she'd seen it shaking her head realising the kits must've taken it deciding not to rat them oht, asthey were good kits despite being punky assuring him, Stringey was somewhere seeing himdrinking tea out if his Lennon shaped mug which always delighted him making Piper relieved as she hoped the kits were having a good day and not getting into trouble like John making Rocke stunned, that happened.
"Sometimes the teachers don't get their sense of humohr, especially John. Sometimes they end up in detention." she tokd him seeing him astounded by this hoping today that wouldn't happen. "At least they're not wearing toilet seats aroubd their furry necks like Lennon." she mumbled seeing Rocke nod.
"So, did yohr parents bust you, for sneaking bacj in, afterthe gig." John and Juilet heard Teefs asking them. It was later that day and the end of the school day relieved they hadn't gotten in detention today as they were going to practice for their next gig making Teefs grin wheeling after them in his wheelchair. After finding out that Teefs was an awesome drummer, both kits had to recruit him for their band which Rocke didn't know aboht as he'd butt in which John and Juilet didn't want to happen so kept it a secret including Piper knowing aboht it. "Our mom knows, but she didn't tell our dad because he'd freak oht." Juilet told him making Teefs surprised by that. "My moms know about our band and impressed by it." he told them making them surprised that Itsy and Shocket knew about their band.
Piper noticed that Rocke was pacihg the floor as it was after school and John and Juilet weren't home yet making her know what they were doing assuring him they were fine and would be hone soon. "Alright honey, we should startdinner and save some for those kits of ours." Rocke replied feeling Piper hug him squeezing his paw gently. "Incan use thecPeace and Love oven mitts." she told hij making him grin.
"I'm coming honey." he said following her into the kitchen as this was good.
John and Juilet returned around six at night finding their parents on the couch, being cosy makihg them guess they'd been having fun hearing Piper say there was food for them which they could heat up seeing the kits going into the kitchen as Piper returned to the couch seeing Rocke kiss her making her giggle. "They'll be fine Pipey as we taught them indepence at an earlier age but I miss lil them, as they were my lil buddies." he reassured her.
"Yeah you have a point." Piper responded cuddling him. Around eight or nine, Piper and Rocke were in bed cuddling and being dorks knowing that John and Juilet were doing their own things but Rocke was wishing for another kit hearing noises making Piper notice Rocke was freaking out reassuring him, it wasn't monsters making him relax lying back down making Piper sigh knowing John and Juilet's rooms might scare him compared to her cuddling him which was making him happy and excited making Piper giggle hysterically knowing their kits weren't here right now so they wouldn't be bothered and wore headphones anyways.
