"I was upset because I just wanted you to spend more time with me," I said.

"So should I quit the business and spend all my time with you?" He asked.

Ugh!

Why were we even having this conversation?

He was not going to understand anything!

"I don't want you to quit anything..." I said.

"Bella... My schedule has been planned for tonight's meetings for a while now... I want to spend time with you, but I just can't quit everything!" He said.

Ugh!

"I already told you... It was not just about tonight!" I said with irritation.

Either I was really bad at explaining things or he didn't want to understand the core problem!

"You can re-prioritize some other things... Like.. Those Golf and Tennis sessions..." I said, "And maybe you can also cut short your sleep a bit?"

"What? Now you have issues with my quality sleep time?" He chuckled.

"Yeah, right! Quality sleep time!" I rolled my eyes.

Where the hell was he?

He didn't respond to any of my texts today.

I was... missing him!

"Hey... What's up?" I said as he answered the call.

"I'm really tired today," he yawned, "How was your day?"

"It was good... Had too many meetings today..." I said.

"Nice," he yawned again.

Nice?

Like, what the hell did that even mean?

"Are you sleepy?" I asked.

"Yeah..." He said.

"I guess you should get some sleep then," I said with annoyance.

There was no point talking to him if he was just going to keep yawning!

"Yeah I guess so..." he said, "I need to get some quality sleep... I'll talk to you tomorrow."

And that tomorrow didn't come because his fucking meetings started from early morning next day!

But well, I very well knew what I was getting myself into when I decided to marry him!

"Alright, I can try to work on it," he said.

I guess I could give him another chance?

I mean, we had way too many issues to resolve, but I guess we could figure it out?

I mean, look at him!

He missed his important meetings and ran after me!

That was... sweet!

"Ummm... Can I get my ring back?" I asked.

That was one of the most embarrassing questions I had ever asked, but hey, I had already embarrassed myself more than enough, so this should be okay.

"No, I'm not giving it back," he said.

No?

Why?

"I think we need to revisit some of the conditions we discussed when we decided to get married..." he said, "I'm not giving you the ring back until we make sure that we're on the same page."
