Chapter 12: "Walk Away"
~VA BTTS VA~
My head was pounding. Grumbling, I rolled over in bed and cuddled closer to Dimitri while making displeased sounds at the pain.
"Morning, Roza. How's your head?" He voiced, a hint of a smirk in his tone. Damn know-it-all Russian God and his fucking Vodka. He ran his hand along my back, comfortingly, and down over my ass as he held me against him.
"How do you think?" I asked rhetorically. "Vodka, too much Vodka, Comrade." I mumbled.
He snickered quietly. "I told you." He stated, a smile in his voice. "I'll get you a sports drink, the electrolytes will help." He murmured, kissing my forehead as he crawled from the bed.
After hydrating, Dimitri helped me to wrap my arm so we could have a shower. It ended up being more like me standing there while he washed me.
"I'm pathetic." I mumbled as he washed my hair. His fingers massaged my scalp and it helped with the headache immensely.
"No, you're not, milaya. You had a little too much Vodka though." He smirked.
"You're enjoying seeing me like this, aren't you?" I snarked sarcastically, peaking at him through half closed eyes as he stood in front of me, rinsing the shampoo out. My eyes were focused on the wet, slick skin of his abdomen. I reached out my good hand to run my fingers over his tight muscles and down over his 'Roza' tattoo.
"No, I don't like seeing you in pain. But," He paused. ", I like taking care of you." He smiled, leaning down and kissing my pouty lips as I rested my hand on his hip. "We'll take it easy today. We should hear something from Meredith soon about the verdict, then we're meeting everyone for dinner at the bar tonight and have a late-morning flight tomorrow." He relayed.
"How long is the flight?" I asked, as he turned me around again to massage the conditioner into my hair as he stood behind me.
"About five hours." He stated. "We should arrive by late afternoon, just around dinner time." He added, running his hands through the long strands of my hair to coat it in the conditioner.
"I feel like I should be returning the favour." I smiled as his fingers did delicious things to my head.
"Later, love. When you're feeling better." He replied, leaning down to kiss my shoulder, before trailing his lips up to my neck and back down again. The action made me shiver and goosebumps erupted over my skin.
"That is making me feel much better." I giggled, as his hands moved around my hips and over my stomach. Slowly, he trailed his hands up, cupping my breasts and I pressed back against him.
"Tonight, when we get home." He murmured, helping me to rinse the conditioner from my hair next. His words laced with innuendo.
"Maybe we could unpack some of my boxes." I suggested as he moved to wash my body.
"Sounds like a plan." He grinned.
"Can I at least wash you. Please?" I asked, pouting.
"If you insist." He smiled, handing me the loofah after adding some soap.
A beaming smile overtook my face as I started with his chest before moving down to his abs. He turned around and I washed his back and down over his ass to the backs of his legs. When he faced me again, I trailed the loofah down his chest and stomach before dropping it and gripping his cock in my hand.
"Roza." He growled as I started to pump him, slowly.
Tightening my grip, I stroked him at a moderate pace, as he tilted his head back under the spray of the shower.
"Tighter, baby." He requested. I complied with a smile as I moved closer to him.
Pressing myself against him so his member was trapped between us. I turned around and supported myself against the shower.
"Come on, Comrade. Take me." I purred.
His eyes shot open as I pressed my ass against him. Moving up behind me, he gripped my hips and slid inside with ease. He moved hard and fast and within a few minutes I was coming.
"Yes! Fuck, Dimitri." I cried as I felt my walls fluttering around him.
Growling, low in his throat, he pounded into me and found his release moments later. He didn't pull out right away, but instead, tugged me closer so he could bend down and kiss me.
"I so needed that, milaya." He crooned, cupping my breasts and moving to stand under the shower once more to rinse us clean.
~VA BTTS VA~
After a thorough shower and some Ibuprofen for the mild headache I now had, I pulled on some stretchy pants and a cropped sweater before we made lunch. Cuddled on the couch, we ate quietly while watching some movie on Netflix. As the movie played, we decided to finally start unpacking a few of my boxes. In under a half hour, my books now mingled with his westerns, and I smiled at how our things blended together.
My arm was starting to ache and I'd had enough unpacking for now, so we snuggled on the couch again to watch the rest of the movie. I must have dozed off, because when I woke, I heard muffled voices from the kitchen. Climbing off the couch, I headed towards the sound to find Meredith and Dimitri, a carafe of coffee in front of them.
"Rose." She greeted.
"Hi, is the verdict in?" I asked, slipping my arm around Dimitri's waist as he poured me a cup of coffee. "Thank you." I murmured when he placed it in front of me.
"Guilty. On all counts." She smiled.
"Good." I nodded, as Dimitri leaned over to kiss me in congratulations. It felt sort of surreal, but I didn't quite understand why Meredith was here. She could have told me that over the phone.
"You're wondering why I'm here." She stated and I nodded in reply.
"It's likely that Jesse will get a lesser sentence than planned." She began.
I waited for her to explain.
"The charges against Ralf Sarcozy, well… Let's just say that if Jesse testifies against him as to his actions in regards to the sexual assault on Mia, it would secure a conviction for Ralf, but," She paused.
"Jesse has to get something out of it. I get it." I nodded. I was not happy with that information but I understood it. For Mia's benefit, it was as more definitive possibility that Ralf would likely be found guilty as well.
"What kind of sentence will Jesse get if it's reduced?" Dimitri interjected.
"Judge Schoenberg has set Jesse's sentencing date a month from now. But I'm hopeful he will get twelve years for the sexual assault and four years for the battery." Meredith explained. "At least that's the expectation per my recommendation as well as Schoenberg taking into consideration, the jury's input." She added.
"So, sixteen years, that's good right?" I asked.
"It is, but in order to get Jesse's cooperation and testimony against Ralf, they will shave off time from that sentence. In total he'll serve at least ten years, minimum. But it could still be more than that." Meredith confirmed.
"It's better than I expected." Dimitri stated. "Have you told Mia this?" He added.
Meredith confirmed that she spoke with Mia first. It was actually up to Mia if she wanted to go ahead with charges against Ralf, but after the testimony in court as to Ralf's part in the assault with Jesse, it was prudent she went ahead with it.
"Mia is on board, and Judge Schoenberg informed Ralf that if he doesn't want plead out, which will mean a deal with a ten-year sentence, then he could get upwards of fourteen years if he tries to take it to court." Meredith explained. "It's looking good for us. Ralf seems like a bit of a coward, and I doubt it will go to trial." She finished.
"Thank you, Meredith." I relayed, reaching over to hug her. "For everything, for how you helped Mia, too." I added, brushing an errant tear off my cheek.
"You're welcome. I'm glad I could get those little fuckers." She spouted, causing us to smile at her use of an expletive. "I know you also have an assault and battery case against Aaron Drozdov." She stated.
"Yeah, but I just wish it could be settled already." I complained.
"I was hoping you'd say that." She smiled, reaching into her briefcase and handing me a letter sized envelope.
"What's this?" I asked, taking it from her.
"A settlement." She started. "I think it was clear that the break wasn't unintentional, even if he was being aggressive by grabbing you. With no prior record, Drozdov wouldn't get jail time, only probation, so a monetary settlement seemed appropriate." She relayed.
"I thought Priscilla Voda was handling this case?" Dimitri interjected.
"She was, but when she heard about the case against Zeklos, she contacted me because your name was associated with both. We talked, and Ms. Voda was able to sort this for you as well." She relayed. "Aaron didn't know he likely wouldn't serve jail time and refused to listen to his lawyer, so he agreed to this monetary settlement. I also don't think he was proud of his actions. There seemed to be actual guilt on his part, which is rare."
"He's still an asshole." I murmured.
"I don't disagree. An arrogant asshole at that. But I think you'll be happy with the settlement, and no other court appearances required." She finalized before saying goodbye.
Dimitri and I walked her out before returning to the kitchen and the envelope containing the settlement.
"Do you want me to open it?" He asked. I nodded mutely.
Dimitri pulled a cashier's cheque out of the envelope worth $250,000. "Holy shit!" I exclaimed.
"Well, at least your medical expenses are covered." He stated with a smile as he retrieved the paperwork attached to read the details. "$50,000 was agreed on for medical expenses and $200,000 for emotional trauma and distress." He read aloud.
"Fuck me." I mumbled.
~VA BTTS VA~
For the rest of the afternoon, we unpacked more boxes. Ivan had called to confirm that we were coming to 'The Academy' tonight for a celebratory dinner for the verdict in the case. With four hours to spare, we hunkered down and unpacked all the boxes in the living room and bedroom.
I'd just finished breaking down another box in the bedroom, when Dimitri made a loud noise that trailed down the hall from the living room. "Comrade?" I called, starting a slow jog to meet him. "What was that noise?" I asked when I saw him sitting on the floor, an open case in his hands.
"Were you going to tell me you play guitar?" He asked, a large smirk on his face.
"Eventually." I giggled. "Not like I can play right now though. But I'm not very good. I can strum enough to get chords for songs, but that's about it." I relayed.
"I'm putting this in the studio." He grinned, taking my acoustic guitar from its case. He sat there and tuned it first and strummed a little tune before getting up and walking off to the recording studio and placing it in a stand with his. "There. Perfect fit." He smiled as I wrapped my arm around his waist.
"When my wrist is healed, and I'm done physio and all that jazz, you think you could help me with my guitar skills?" I posed, wrapping both of my arms around his waist.
"I think we can work something out." He flirted, leaning down to kiss me.
"You know, naked guitar lessons could be a thing. We could start a trend." I giggled.
"I'll play your body like a guitar, milaya." He smirked, adorably. "Tune you, just right." He smiled.
"I think you already do, Comrade." I stated. "But I really like the sound of that." I giggled, as I pulled his face down to meet mine in a soft kiss. His hands automatically cupped my backside, pressing me against him.
Two hours later we had finished unpacking everything and I was officially integrated into Dimitri's apartment. Well, our apartment.
"Is my chair okay there?" I asked as he angled it at the corner of the living room near the bookcase.
"Of course, and with your side table, lamp and ottoman, it makes a cozy reading spot." He grinned.
"You've been very smiley today." I acknowledged.
"I just love seeing your stuff mixed with mine." He smirked, wrapping his arms around me and trailing his hands down my back, palming my ass again, and pressing himself against me as we swayed side to side.
"I love you." I smiled, leaning up to press my lips to his.
"I love you, my Roza." He grinned in reply, cupping my face in his hands and kissing me reverently.
"I think we should go to my bank, deposit that cashier's cheque." I stated, pulling back slightly. "Then maybe we could pop in and say 'hi' to Alberta and Hans?" I posed. "Before we meet everyone for dinner." I added.
"That's a good idea. I'm going to chuck that cardboard, then change first, and we can go." He relayed, leaning down to kiss my cheek.
My cropped sweater and stretchy pants were fine to wear out, but Dimitri was covered in bits of cardboard from taking the boxes down to the basement for recycling after he'd broken them down. Slipping on my boots and leather jacket, I waited for him at the front door. Three minutes later, he strode down the hall looking sexy as sin in a pair of dark wash jeans, one of his favoured, long-sleeved Henley's and his new leather duster. More like 'Russian Sex God in a Duster'. I giggled at the nickname.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing, you look sexy." I grinned as he palmed my ass for the hundredth time that day, as we stepped onto the elevator.
"You always look sexy, milaya." He winked, locking the door's two deadbolts.
The bank wasn't too busy and it took no time to deposit the cheque. Dimitri waited outside in the car, idling at the curb, ready to go around the block if a patrol cop told him to move. I was in and out within five minutes and hopped into the passenger side with a satisfied smile on my face.
"So?" He asked.
"I'm $250,000 richer!" I grinned. Dimitri smirked at me before squeezing my knee affectionately.
He drove to 'Dhampir' and parked in the back lot for employees. We surprised Alberta in her office as she was once again, doing paperwork.
"Rose, Dimitri!" She smiled, standing from her seat to give us each a welcoming hug.
"Thank you, for everything you did in court yesterday. That video surveillance was a god send." I praised.
"Well, I'll let you in on a little secret." She started, closing her office door and signalling for us to take a seat. "I've been telling everyone that the cameras and audio, were put in place to deter members from extra-curricular activities, but really," She paused. "I had them installed so I could catch that little prick Jesse and his friend Ralf." She relayed.
"Whatever the reason, Alberta. I'm glad you did it." Dimitri interjected.
"Are you going to take any of them down now that he's been convicted?" I asked.
"Actually, no. But I might turn the audio off on some. Most of the time the visual is enough." She commented. "I'm also thinking of utilizing them in a sort of command post, where you can monitor members to see how they're using the equipment and weights. Then if they need instruction, you can send a Guardian to help instruct them." She relayed.
"That's not a bad idea." Dimitri agreed. "A lot of the time, I feel like we're wasting time by pacing around the gym." He added.
"It would be really great, especially for Sonya. She could use something lighter in terms of her pregnancy, right?" I supplied.
"That's what I was thinking, as well as for you!" She smiled. "If you can't handle the equipment with your wrist still on the mend, you can monitor and then page a Guardian to intervene." She grinned. "I started thinking about that shortly after Sonya told me about her and Mikhail expecting, then your wrist injury happened so, it made sense to incorporate a new position rather than making things limited for you." She finalized.
I updated Alberta on my wrist and the secondary break issue. My leave of absence might be a bit longer due to that, but Alberta was more than happy to allow me the time to heal properly.
If the command post she'd suggested was working by the time we got back from the tour, then I could start back at work sooner rather than later.
Dimitri and I went to say a quick hello to Hans before leaving. He was pretty busy with a new member tour but took a few minutes to greet us and share his relief that Jesse was in fact found guilty.
~VA BTTS VA~
When we arrived at the bar, Dimitri parked out back and led me in through the green room door, my hand firmly gripped in his. We found Mia first and she bounded over, full of smiles.
"I'm so glad that he's been found guilty!" She grinned, hugging me excitedly. "On all counts!" She added, when she pulled away.
"We all are." Dimitri added, giving her a side hug. I was glad to see Mia in such high spirits. After having to recount the atrocities done to her, it was surprising to see her so happy.
"Christian and Lissa got here an hour ago and Lissa is on her third glass of wine!" She giggled. "They're at the horseshoe booth." She relayed. "Beer?" She asked and we nodded in agreement as she scuttled off.
"I'm glad she's in a good mood." I shared. "Especially after having to relive the crap those bastards did to her." I added.
"Me too. But I also think part of that is due to Ivan." He smirked, pointing across the bar. Mia was at his side as he leaned down to kiss her while a bartender filled a pitcher with beer.
I smiled broadly at the affection they showed one another "I'm glad. They are good together." I replied as we headed to the booth.
Slipping off our coats, we folded them before sliding in and setting them beside us. "Hey!" Lissa greeted with a smile. "So, good news all around, yeah!?" She smiled, clearly already a little wine-drunk.
We nodded in agreement and I shared the other good news about my settlement on Aaron's case.
"Oh! Rose. I'm so glad!" Lissa gushed, moving from her seat to slide in next to me and give me a hug. "How much did he give you?" She asked, eyes narrowed sceptically.
"$250,000." I shared.
"No way! Really?" She asked in surprise.
"Meredith thinks he actually felt guilty for what he did, even if he is an asshole." Dimitri interjected.
"Well, good. You deserve it." She added before she slipped out and moved to sit beside Christian once more.
"Where are Eddie and Mason?" I asked.
"Dinner with Eddie's family before we go back on tour." Christian shared. "They weren't able to see them for Christmas, but Mason is like a brother to Eddie so he spends his time with them." He added.
"That's good. How are you doing, Christian?" I posed, as Mia returned with our pitcher of beer and a couple of glasses.
"Menus." She stated, placing a couple on the table before hurrying off to another table.
"I'm okay." He started, after Mia left. "I could be better, but I just keep worrying about Tasha." He confessed.
"Are you going to keep in contact with her doctors?" Dimitri posed, pouring us each a beer.
"Yes. I need to know if she makes any progress or declines anymore." He stated. "I've given them my updated contact information in case of emergency." He added.
"Well, let's make a toast!" I suggest, raising my beer glass.
"To assholes behind bars and the power to walk away!" Lissa interjected.
"Cheers!" We chorused.
"Walk away from what?" I asked, after our toast.
"Abusive assholes like Jesse, tours we didn't want, executives for record companies who can't take a hint…shall I go on?" She giggled in her semi-drunk state.
Mia returned and took our food order before Christian looked to us.
"Lissa's been getting calls from some record executive who wants to sign us, and she's being persistent. She refuses to listen or believe that we don't want to sign." Christian explained.
"Great." Dimitri mumbled beside me.
"Well, you've walked away so far." I stated. "Is there any reason to consider a deal?" I posed, gauging whether their thoughts on the matter could have changed.
"No!" Dimitri and Christian chorused together, causing us to laugh.
"Got it. Still a big 'NO', to record deals." I nodded.
"Yeah, but it doesn't seem to matter how many times I refuse this woman's calls and emails." Lissa interjects.
"What's the record company name and contact?" Dimitri asks.
"One sec." Lissa states as she fumbles around in her purse. "Here." She says, passing Dimitri a card.
'St. Vladimir's Records', Ellen Kirova, it read.
Dimitri pulled out his phone and called.
"Dimitri Belikov for Ellen Kirova." He stated when someone picked up on the other end. He put the call on speaker so we could all hear as his call was being transferred.
"Mr. Belikov! Thank you for returning my call. That manager of yours just wouldn't listen." She stated haughtily. "Not very good representation and completely incompetent, if you ask me." She insulted.
"Let me save you the trouble, Ms. Kirova." He started, sternly. "We, the band, 'Stakes of Fire', have no intentions of sighing with your label, or any label for that matter. Our manager is quite competent and was acting on our personal wishes to decline any and all offers for a deal." He finalized.
"You can't be serious." She replied in disbelief. "But the opportunities, the money."
"I am serious. Now stop harassing our manager, and leave us alone. The answer is no, and it will always be no." He finished, ending the call.
"Thank fuck." Lissa murmured, taking another gulp from her wine. I couldn't help but laugh at her swearing.
Christian leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Nice one, Comrade." I giggled, leaning over to kiss him as well.
When Mia returned, with Ivan, they were laden down with burgers and fries for all, along with my favoured chicken wings, which Dimitri and I were going to share again.
~VA BTTS VA~
After dinner, we got comfortable in the booth as the evening's entertainment took the stage. At close to 9PM, Mason and Eddie joined us and suggested that they do a set. Dimitri and Christian seemed pleased at the idea but they'd have to use the back-up equipment.
"Actually, let's just do one song." Dimitri smirked. "Roza? Let's do your song." He grinned, eyeing his bandmates. They smirked in reply, seemingly in the know of what he was up to as he helped me from the booth.
"Oh! Yay! I loved seeing the video for that song, I want to see it live!" Mia gushed.
"Only because it's for Mia." I agreed.
The guys had to set the stage and tune the equipment to their liking before Dimitri made introductions. Ivan assisted in lifting me onto the stage as we performed my song, 'Cruel to Be Kind'. The crowd loved it, and their reaction made me blush profusely.
When I looked over at Dimitri, he had this expression on face. I couldn't quite place it. "What's with that look, Comrade?" I smiled, as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.
"I'm proud of you. That's all." He smirked, resting his chin on my shoulder as he nuzzled his face into my neck. "Let's go home." He murmured as we wandered back to the booth to collect our coats.
Dimitri didn't drink as much as he usually would, knowing he'd have to drive that short way home. It had been a long couple of days and I was feeling tired.
"We should pack our bags so we don't have to rush in the morning, milaya." He coaxed.
"Damn reasonable Russian Sex God." I grumbled, trudging to the bedroom. He followed after me, laughing.
"I know you're tired, Roza. More mentally than anything." He reasoned, squeezing the back of my neck affectionately.
"I just can't stop thinking about what Jesse and Ralf did to Mia." I shared, plopping myself down on the end of the bed. "The idea that they hurt her like that. With no remorse for what they did."
"If they had hurt you like that, I wouldn't stop to think, I'd fucking kill them." He stated, sitting beside me.
"You saw Mia the night it happened. Helped her." I replied. He nodded silently.
"Seeing her like that, so broken." He stopped. "Roza." He murmured, pulling me to sit on his lap. "I'd never seen someone so shattered. The things they did to her…" He trailed off. "Then the idea that he tried to do that to you. I don't know what I'd do, honestly, but beating the shit out of him would have been a good start." He confessed.
"Dimitri, as much as I would love to see that little shit get his own comeuppance, I'm glad you walked away that night." I said, brushing my hand through his hair. "Those security cameras Alberta had set up showed that you hit him once, and if it weren't for the fact that I was in that room, and struggling to stand up, I think you would have continued to hit him." He nodded, burying his face in my neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Thankfully, Hans called me off before I could go at him again. Otherwise…" He trailed off, trailing a hand across my stomach to hold me closer.
"Jesse could have pressed actual assault and battery charges, I know. I think Hans knew that; it's why he was shouting at you to stop." I replied. "I'm glad Mia had a good support system with you and Ivan." I complimented.
"Well, to be fair, it was more Ivan. He's had a thing for her for some time, but worried it would interfere with their friendship and working relationship." Dimitri said. "It really tore him up to see Mia like she was that night."
"I could tell, they were clearly close. It's why we dared Mia to kiss Ivan last night." I smiled. "I'm glad they are open now and can be together." I grinned, leaning down to press my lips to his.
"I love you, Roza." He murmured as I moved to straddle him. "I'll never let anyone hurt you like that."
"I love you too, Comrade." My eyes met his as I pressed myself against his crotch. "Make love to me, Dimitri. Please." I whimpered, as he slipped his hand down the front of my pants, his fingers diving into my moist sex.
"Yes!" I cried, riding his fingers as he pumped them into me fast and hard. "Yes, yes, yes." I chanted. "Fuck, I'm going to come." I gasped as my knees tightened around his hips as the orgasm rushed through me quickly as my body shuddered over his.
Standing from his lap, he tugged my pants and underwear down while I pulled my sweater off. Followed by his Henley as I fumbled with the buckle on his pants before he gently pushed my hands away to do it himself.
Both now naked, he lay back on the bed as I crawled over him. "Hi." I smirked as I sat astride him. He grinned back at me as I settled my knees on either side of his hips while rubbing myself over his hardening cock.
"Roza," He murmured, tugging me closer as his hands gripped my hips.
Raising up slightly, he guided his cock inside me and I slowly sank down on him. "Fuck, Comrade." I whimpered at how sensitive I was after that first orgasm.
"So, fucking tight." He mumbled. His hands guiding my hips as he pushed and pulled me over him in a seductive rhythm.
Dimitri sat up suddenly, fusing his lips to mine as I continued to rock my hips over his. My clit was so sensitive, and I reached my hand down to rub my aching nub. "Come for me, Roza." He purred, licking at my neck before sucking on the underside of my ear. I could feel his thumb gently caressing my 'D' tattoo as the orgasm surged through me. My walls fluttered around his cock and I stilled my motions to ride the wave of pleasure. "That's my girl." He crooned, flipping us so I was on my back.
"Fuck, Comrade." I panted, as he thrust tortuously slow, but hard. "More." I cried, lifting my hips to meet his, thrust for thrust.
He shifted his hips and pulled one of my legs over his shoulder, allowing him to sink even deeper into me. "Fuck, Dimitri. Ohhhhh, that feels so good." I gasped, as he finally started moving at a faster pace.
"Look at me." He pleaded. "I wanna see your face when I make you come again." He stated, reaching his hand down to rub his fingers over the cursive 'D' once more.
Licking his thumb from the same hand that was just caressing my tattoo, he pressed it against my clit and started rubbing in slow provocative circles. "Comrade. Please. I need to come." I cried, my hand gripping the wrist of his hand that was rubbing me to completion.
"Come for me, Roza." He purred, as his hips moved even faster as he pressed his thumb just a little firmer against me. I came undone as the flood of pleasure washed over me and I quivered underneath him. Seconds later he ejaculated and pumped a few more times as he released all of himself inside me.
"Fuck, fuck, Roza." He growled, releasing my leg from his shoulder as he lay in the cradle between my legs, resting his forehead against my breasts.
"That was wonderful." I grinned.
"Fucking, magical." He smirked in reply, cradling me in his arms as he turned us so we lay on our sides.
"I need to clean up." I mumbled. "But I don't think I can walk yet." I giggled, as he leaned in and kissed me tenderly, brushing my hair off my face and cupping my cheek.
"One more month and we're done this tour." He stated as I snuggled against him.
"I can't wait to get back to the routine. Friday and Saturday nights at the bar." I relayed.
"Your physio should start soon after we get back home too."
"I know, that is if the x-ray reads all clear." I replied, as we slowly climbed from the bed to clean up. "I can't wait to be able to wash my own hair." I grinned.
"I kind of like helping you." He smirked, leaning down to kiss me sweetly.
"I like it too, it's nice when you massage my scalp." I shared. "But I can't even return the favour right now, and I'd really like to be able to reciprocate." I confessed.
"When you're better, I'll let you 'reciprocate', all you want, milaya." He replied, the implication clear in his words.
Dimitri pulled on some boxer briefs before rolling our luggage to the front door. That way we could sleep in a bit in the morning.
Crawling in beside me, I cuddled into his side, my arm over his abdomen as he played with my hair. The action lulling me to sleep.

The airport was pretty busy, but at least our flight was on time. Eddie, Mason, Lissa and Christian all had differing flight times, so we agreed to meet for dinner at a place near the hotel that Lissa had looked up previously.
As we boarded, I was left with an aisle seat on the right-hand side of the plane and Dimitri was across from me in the other aisle seat on the left. It wouldn't really matter which seat I was in as someone or something on my left would jostle my arm. So, I tried to sit sideways so my arm was more in front of me.
"You, okay?" Dimitri asked as everyone seemed to have boarded.
"Yeah, my arm has gotten bumped a few times and it's throbbing at the moment." I whined.
One of the flight attendants seemed to overhear me and came over. "Ma'am?" She called, getting my attention. "With your arm, would it help if you had a window seat on the left?" She asked.
"Immensely." I replied.
"We have two seats in first-class available. Now that everyone has boarded, I can move you and your boyfriend up." She smiled kindly.
"Really? I'd appreciate it." I smiled. Dimitri stood and grabbed our carry-on luggage as we followed the flight attendant to the front of the plane to the first-class section.
"Just here." She smiled, signalling to the two seats on the left.
"Thank you." Dimitri stated as he stowed our carry-on in the luggage compartment above our seats. "Finally, leg room!" He grinned, leaning back. I couldn't help but giggle.
"You know, I could have paid to upgrade our seats." I relayed with a suggestive wiggle of my eyebrows.
"So could I, Roza. But there weren't any when I booked. Someone must have cancelled." He stated, turning to face me and holding out his hand. I placed my right in his left, linking our fingers as he rested our clasped hands on his thigh.
Tucking my legs up under me, I leaned my head on his shoulder and let the planes motions lull me to sleep for the five-hour flight.
The sound of the overhead speaker woke me, as the Captain announced we'd be landing shortly. My throat was dry and I turned to Dimitri to see he had a water bottle at the ready.
"My hero." I grinned, as he uncapped it for me. I took a large gulp as we put our seats back in the upright position and re-fastened our seat belts.
The cab ride to the hotel was about a half hour and I texted Lissa about whether or not to check-in.
Rose: We're at the hotel. Do we wait to check-in?
Lissa: No, Christian and I arrived two hours ago, your keys are at the front desk. Mason and Eddie will get in later tonight. So, they won't be meeting us for dinner.
Rose: See you at dinner then.
We had a nice room with a king-sized bed. Dimitri rolled our suitcases in and set them against the wall. "I smell like plane." I grumbled, opening my luggage for a change of clothes.
"You smell fine." He grinned, laying back on the bed. "What time are we meeting Lissa and Christian?" He added.
"A half hour. The place is about a five-minute walk." I shared, as I tugged off my sweater to replace it with a cropped t-shirt.
"Let's leave when you're ready, then we can just relax. I might fall asleep if I stay here." He shared, sitting up and running his hands over his face and through his hair tiredly.
"I could keep you awake." I smirked, waltzing over and cupping his cheek as I bent my head to press my lips to his.
"Mmmmm…" He moaned, his hands moving over my backside and squeezing. "We do not have time, milaya." He groaned, resting his forehead on my chest.
"Let's go, Comrade." I coaxed, pulling him from the bed.
After shrugging on our jackets, he pocketed the room keys and we headed to the restaurant.
"Hi, for two?" The hostess greeted. She was clearly checking out Dimitri, and I understood, he was 'eye candy' after all.
"We're actually meeting some friends; you mind if I check to see if they're here yet?" I posed. She nodded politely and I poked my head around the restaurant but didn't see either Lissa or Christian. "They're not here yet." I directed at Dimitri when I returned. "We'll need a table for four please." I stated, looking to the hostess before slipping my hand into Dimitri's. He gripped it firmly before bringing our clasped hands up and kissing the back of my hand.
"This way." She grinned, adding an extra 'swish' to her hips as she led us to a booth by the window. The action caused me to snort at her attempts to flirt with Dimitri. "Your server will be with you shortly." She smiled, winking at Dimitri as he slid in beside me, while the hostess set our menus down.
To his credit, Dimitri ignored it, but it was annoying to witness. "You, okay?" I asked when I noticed the look of irritation on his face.
"Yeah. I just hate how rude she was." He replied. "It was clear I'm here with you, but when you went to look around for Lissa and Christian, she tried to slip me her number. Shit like that pisses me off." He declared.
"I'm not worried, Comrade." I winked.
"Why is that?" He asked, perplexed.
"Well, let's say that some bimbo manages to corner you." He nods, signalling for me to continue. "The first thing they're going to see when they try to get your pants off, is my name." I state with a large, satisfied grin, referring to his tattoo.
Dimitri threw his head back and laughed raucously. "I fucking love you." He smiled, leaning over and kissing my cheek before picking up his menu.
"If I get the steak, will you help me cut it?" I asked him, sticking out my bottom lip in a pout.
"Of course, milaya." He smiled, leaning over and kissing me. "But let's look at drinks first, while we wait for Lissa and Christian." He replied.
Just as I set the drink menu down, our server approached. "Hello, my name is Sarah, and I'll be your server this evening. Can I start you off with some drinks while you wait for the rest of your party to arrive?" She smiled kindly.
"Hi Sarah, can we please get a pitcher of pilsner, and three glasses. I'm pretty sure my 4th friend will get a glass of chardonnay." I stated.
"Of course, would you like the chardonnay brought as well?" She posed and I nodded in the affirmative.
Dimitri and I felt exhausted. It wasn't a physical tiredness, but the past couple of days had been mentally draining and if I were to close my eyes, I would probably sleep for the next ten hours.
"Wake up!" I heard, and my eyes popped open. I literally had fallen asleep against Dimitri's shoulder and missed Lissa and Christian's arrival.
"Sorry, Liss. I'm just so exhausted." I explained.
"I can imagine. You did really well on the stand." She praised. "But so much happened in one day. It was exhausting to witness." She shared.
"I wish I could have seen it, Liss told me about the beginning of your testimony with the lawyer and his not actually asking a question but making a statement." Christian relayed with a chuckle.
"Yeah, Meredith was trying so hard not to laugh." Dimitri interjected.
"He was an imbecile. For a highly paid lawyer he was a crack pot!" I laughed.
"Well, it doesn't matter, he's guilty and will serve his time." Lissa finalized, sipping from her wine after thanking me for ordering it for her.
Dimitri and I shared with them the details Meredith had confirmed for us about Jesse's likely shorter sentence. While it was clear they were both bothered by that, they were also understanding that it meant Ralf would get prison time. In the end, Jesse and Ralf both needed to pay for what they had done to Mia, as well as me.
Our server, Sarah returned to take our order before scuttling off to fill other requests from patrons.
"Have you heard from Eddie and Mason?" Dimitri asked, refilling our glasses as we waited for our food to arrive.
"Yes, their flight was delayed by an hour, so we'll meet up with them tomorrow. You guys have an interview with a local cable news channel about the tour, tomorrow evening." Lissa informed.
"Did you set that up?" I asked.
"No, actually they contacted me. The band has a bit of a following online and apparently fans emailed the TV station asking for them to feature the guys." She shared.
"That's exciting." I grinned. "Will they be asked to play something, or just interview?"
"Just interview." Lissa confirmed.
"You don't look happy about that news Christian." I jested.
"Yes, and no." He shared.
Part of the reason the guys didn't want a record deal, wasn't only because of the lack of control they would have over their music, but public appearances and tours like this one that they would be required to do.
They just wanted to play their music when and how they wanted without contracts and stipulations. Along with that came fans that could be out of line in terms of how they would touch, grab and grope them along with unprofessional interviewers, as we saw earlier on in the tour.
They had fans before this tour and they would have fans after, but at least at 'The Academy', the security, like Adrian could control that behaviour.
"I like that people appreciate the music, but it's the weird questions about our private lives that I don't get." He stated.
"That bothers me too." Dimitri interjected. "I especially don't like it when some of the female interviewers disrespect my Roza." He explained, resting his hand on my knee and squeezing affectionately.
"That's why I'm there, to keep them on topic. IF they try to get personal, I'll interfere." Lissa confirmed.
"Have you heard anything more from that Kirova woman?" I asked as Sarah returned with another server to deliver our food. Lissa waited to reply until our food had been set down.
"Yes, she sent me an email, acting like she was apologizing, but still said she's going to be at the show tomorrow night." Lissa relayed with a roll of her eyes.
"Great." Dimitri mumbled. "I hope she doesn't think that by showing up, we're going to suddenly change our minds." He added.
"Give her name to security and tell them to ban her from being allowed in." I suggested.
"Can we do that?" Christian asked.
"Why not? She's been harassing Lissa and won't take no for an answer." I offered in reply. "It's bordering on harassment."
We dug into our food and conversation was limited while we ate. I managed to cut some of my steak, but it would still hurt my wrist at times. I didn't want to make Dimitri cut my meat, so I stabbed it with my fork and picked it up, chewing off chunks.
I felt Lissa and Christian watching me and I side eyed Dimitri too, who was smirking. "Don't judge. I'm disabled." I teased.
"I can cut it for you." Dimitri offered.
"I'm good." I grinned, taking another bite.
When we were finished, we stacked our plates at the edge of the table.
"So, where is Stan?" I posed.
"He's been continuing on the driving route, and using rest stops for overnighters. I've been checking in." Lissa relayed. "He's been doing some tourist stuff but doesn't like straying too far from the bus." She added. "Especially because all your gear is on it." She finalized. "He will arrive tomorrow morning and we'll meet him at the venue around 6PM to set up for the show later that night." She tacked on.

After dinner, we headed back to the hotel and fell into bed. Dimitri and I must have slept for a good fourteen hours, not waking until almost noon the next day.
"Hmmmm…" I heard, grumbled behind me. Dimitri moved his hand around my waist, tugging me against him. "Morning, milaya." He murmured, nuzzling my neck and kissing my shoulder.
"Morning, Comrade. More like afternoon." I giggled, noticing the clock on the bedside table read 12:22PM.
"We were tired, we deserved a good sleep in." He smiled as I turned in his arms.
"What do you want to do today?" I asked, brushing my hands through his hair before wiping the sleepy crusts from the corners of his eyes.
"I need to make use of the gym downstairs. I could use a work out." He shared. "I haven't been doing as much with the tour and I don't want to slack off." He added.
"I should do the same. Nothing vigorous, maybe a jog on the treadmill." I agreed.
We had picked up some snack stuff after dinner last night, a couple protein bars and sports drinks. After consuming a protein bar each, we changed for the gym. Dimitri had to help me put my hair up in a ponytail.
He caught me in a compromising position when he came out of the bathroom after brushing his teeth. "Roza, what are you doing, milaya?" He asked with a laugh.
"I can't get my fucking sports bra on." I whined. Both my breasts were hanging out as I tried to pull it down, but because of my cast, I couldn't grip the edge of it. "Stop laughing at me, and help." I giggled. "Please." I wheedled.
"You're too adorable." He smiled, reaching forward to pull the bra down as I tucked each boob into place.
"Thanks, Comrade. You can help me take it off later too." I smiled with a wink.
"You can count on it." He grinned, tapping my ass playfully as he pocketed the room key as we each grabbed a sports drink and a hand towel before heading down to the gym.
~VA BTTS VA~
We had to use our key card to get into the gym, security reasons, and I really liked that feature. The last place with a gym didn't have that.
I set myself up at a treadmill and liked how it faced the weights and punching bags. With a full view of Dimitri, I watched as he picked up a few different weights and did some arm curls.
There weren't too many people in here. Most seemed like business men and women taking advantage of the bit of time they had to get in some cardio. Dimitri glanced my way a few times, winking. He knew I was watching.
Random top 40's music played from the overhead speakers, but other than that, it was rather quiet. That is until a couple women entered. They looked to be in their mid 20's and started towards a couple of the treadmills at the far end, away from me.
It was really surprising to me to see some of the things people wore to work out in these days. For these women, I had to wonder why they bothered putting on clothes in the first place. They both wore tops that were cropped, tight and almost sheer. As well as tight shorts that left little to the imagination. I swear there was more material in their fucking socks than their outfits as a whole.
I shook my head as I looked away and turned back to Dimitri to see him getting ready to pound the shit out of a punching bag. Pressing one of the buttons on my treadmill, I upped the pace a bit.
I'd been jogging for almost twenty minutes and was glad my arm wasn't getting too sore, so I upped the pace a little more. My sports bra did an okay job of containing my bust, but the girls still bobbed quite a bit as I ran. One of the aforementioned business men seemed to turn his attention to me when he noticed my boobs, and I slowed my pace again. His eyes on me were unnerving.
Looking up I caught Dimitri's eye and nodded towards the man who was currently making his way towards me. Stopping the treadmill, I used my towel to wipe it down after using the disinfectant spray on the shelf behind me.
"Roza!" Dimitri called. I smiled and jogged over, thankful to get away from the businessman. "You, okay?" He asked, as he rested against the punching bag.
"Yes, I just." I paused with a huff. "My boobs bobbed, he noticed, and it was creepy." I relayed with a laugh.
"I noticed too, trust me, milaya." He grinned. "I've got another few minutes here then I'm going to have a run. Do you want to join me?" He asked and I nodded, moving to the side to do some stretches while he finished.
After our workout and dual jogs, we headed back upstairs to shower and change.
~VA BTTS VA~
Tonight, was an earlier dinner due to the cable network interview, and we just ordered in some room service before heading back down to the lobby to meet up with the rest of the guys and Lissa. We'd be heading to the venue first to do a soundcheck, and unload the gear from the bus, then we'd head to the TV station.
"Hey, Mase, Eddie." I greeted, hugging each of them. "How was your flight?" I asked as we headed outside to the waiting taxi-van.
"Delayed, so longer than we would have liked, but not too bad." Mason replied as we climbed into the van.
The soundcheck went smoothly and Lissa and I chatted with Stan while the guys got things set up and ready for tonight's show. Lissa spoke with the manager as well and asked that he put Ellen Kirova on the banned list. She was not allowed entry tonight, no matter what.
The ride to the TV station was a half hour, and I rested my head on Dimitri's shoulder as I gazed out the window at the passing scenery. Lissa checked us in at the front reception and the woman let us know that someone would come down to get us.
When we were finally ushered upstairs by an intern, we were led to a conference room that was set up with chairs for the guys while the camera crew and interviewer arrived a few minutes later.
"Hello! I'm Keely Tarus. Thanks for taking the time to be here." She greeted each of the guys.
Lissa and I stood to the side as she gestured for them to take their seats while a crew member approached to hand them each a microphone.
"We're not going live, so if you're nervous, don't be worried, we can edit anything out." She relayed.
I was glad to see that things were kept professional and the focus was on the music. It was nice to see how Keely asked each of them their opinions on things, rather than just focusing on Dimitri or Christian, which past interviewers tended to do.
"Do you guys' plan to do any other tours outside of the US?" She asked with a smile.
"No." Dimitri and Christian answered in unison, causing everyone to laugh. "No." Dimitri echoed. "We didn't really plan this tour; it was dropped on us and we had to fulfill contractual obligations." He explained.
"Really? Well, what about the news that came in just over an hour ago?" Keely asked.
Lissa and I looked at one another, eyebrows scrunched in confusion.
"What news?" I whispered as Lissa pulled out her phone to do a search.
"Fuck." She murmured. "Fucking Kirova." She spat.
"What news?" Mason interjected, looking just as confused as the rest of the guys.
"The head of St. Vladimir's Records just announced that you've sighed with their label and Ellen Kirova made an announcement on their official social media accounts about signing you guys! Congratulations." She smiled. This was not Keely's fault; she had no idea that Kirova was a lying twat.
"Ms. Tarus," Lissa interjected, stepping forward. I wasn't far behind. "I'm afraid that is a lie. In fact, we may need to contact the bands lawyer about a lawsuit." She stated.
"Oh my." She replied in surprise.
"Ms. Ellen Kirova has been harassing the band and myself in her attempts to coerce the band to sign with her label and they have been very clear in saying no, numerous times." Lissa explained.
"Maybe we can make that clear, here in the interview. An official statement from us about the lie, and that Kirova can expect a lawsuit." Christian suggested.
"We can edit this to reflect that the information is incorrect. Especially coming directly from you." Keely reassured.
"Actually, can we take a break so I can call our lawyer?" Christian interjected. "I'd like to get things going now before Kirova can spread more lies." He added.
The guys all stood and Dimitri strode over towards me after setting his microphone in his chair. "Fucking Kirova." He spat, as I wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Don't worry, Christian's likely calling Priscilla to get things rolling. If she's posted that on the company's website, she'll get what's coming to her." I tried to mollify.
"I just don't get it. Why lie like that? We've never even met her." He relayed in agitation. Dimitri cuddled me close, resting his cheek on my head as I saw Christian approach.
"Priscilla is on it." He started. "She said that if Kirova doesn't make a retraction within twenty-four hours, we file a lawsuit." He explained.
The guys retook their seats and continued with the interview, confirming certain things like the new songs they've performed on tour, as well as rectifying the lies that Kirova tried to spread. Lissa even made a post to their official band Instagram denoting the announcement as false.
Within the hour, their official Instagram's new post was trending and Kirova was getting so much hate for the lie.
Keely thanked everyone, and even took the time to shake hands with myself and Lissa. One of the most professional interviewers to date and we all appreciated that.
The venue had a lineup to get in when we arrived and the taxi-van dropped us off at the back door. Security ushered us into the green room where we met with the manager.
"The news about St. Vladimir's Records and the lie about the record deal has really brought some attention, so we've got extra security." Yuri, the manager relayed. "Along with the so-called news about your record deal, Ellen Kirova announced on social media, she was making an appearance here tonight." He added.
I'd noticed some fans had signs with them with a red circle and an 'X' across the image of a woman. I could only assume that was Ellen Kirova's face. If she thought she could get the guys to sign with her by announcing that they already had, she just royally screwed herself and her company. Clearly, she was someone who could not be trusted.
"I'll leave you guys to get ready. There is still two hours before showtime, so if you'd like anything to eat, please take a look at the menu here and I'll send a server back shortly." Yuri relayed.
Immediately, I took the menu and opened it. Dimitri laughed at my excitement at the mention of food. "What, I'm hungry, Comrade." I smiled, as he pulled me down to sit on his lap so he could read the menu with me.
"Why don't we order a bunch of appetizers and share them?" He suggested. "You guys want anything in particular, or are appetizer's good, we can all share?" He posed.
One of the employees came to the green room and we ordered two of each of four different appetizers' as well as a pitcher of beer. Lissa just wanted water. She wanted to be sure she had a clear head in case she had to deal with Kirova tonight. Because of Ellen, everyone was a bit on edge and the guys each needed some alone time to get into the mind set for their show.
They were here for the fans, and for the music, and they wanted to leave the drama at the door. Literally.
When there was twenty minutes before showtime, Yuri came back to the green room to let us know that Ellen Kirova had in fact tried to get into the venue, but she was escorted off the premises. You could feel the relief engulf us, as well as the immediate change in atmosphere.
~VA BTTS VA~
Lissa and I stood at the side of the stage as they guys started their show. Periodically taking photos, and at certain points, Lissa would go live on their official Instagram, giving fans a behind the scenes view.
Just as they started their encore before the end of the night, Lissa and I made our way back to the green room to collect our things. Thankfully, the guys had one more show tomorrow night, so they could leave their equipment set up.
When we were leaving through the back door, we were surprised to see a small crowd of fans asking for photos and autographs. I kissed Dimitri's cheek telling him to take his time, I'd wait for him in the taxi-van that would take us back to the hotel.
I must have dozed off, because I woke up as we arrived at the hotel. "Shit, why didn't you wake me." I whined, causing everyone to laugh at me.
"You were tired, love. It's fine." Dimitri smiled, helping me from the van.
"I need a shower." Dimitri announced, once we arrived back at our hotel room.
"I'll wait for you in bed." I grinned. "Naked." I winked as he laughed before sauntering off the bathroom, pulling off his shirt as he did.
"How are you feeling about everything?" I asked, once he climbed into bed beside me, naked.
"I'm pissed off at that Kirova woman." He shared. "I mean Victor was pretty bad, but he didn't publicly do what she did." He added.
"Well, she has twenty-four hours to retract her statement, and if not, she'll be served a lawsuit. Priscilla is pretty great at what she does." I tried to comfort.
"Hmmmm…" He mumbled, turning on his side to face me. "I'm pretty good at I what I do, privately." He smirked, kissing his way across my chest to my neck, making me giggle.
"Is that so, Comrade." I flirted. "Show me." I enticed as he settled himself between my open legs. "No teasing, just fuck me. Please." I asked as he slipped a hand down to my entrance, testing my readiness.
"Always, so fucking wet for me." He murmured, gripping his cock and slipping himself inside me.
"Yes!" I called, as he started a slow rhythm. Torturously slow. "Faster. Please. Dimitri." I called as his lips met mine in a slow, languid kiss that was the complete opposite of how fast his hips where now thrusting into me.
Raising my legs, I moved one over his shoulder and the other around his hip. He trailed his hand up my leg to my ankle as it rested on his shoulder, trailing his fingers over my leg sensually. His thrusts becoming harder and faster.
"Fuck, Roza." He growled. "I love you. So much, milaya." He murmured, nuzzling his face into my neck and sucking at the underside of my ear.
"I love you, too. Especially, your cock." I giggled, as he pulled his face back to grin at me.
Dimitri's eyes met mine as I pulled his lips down to meet mine in a quick kiss. "Do me from behind?" I asked.
He slipped himself out of me and I turned over quickly as he gripped my hips and was inside me again within seconds. "Fuck, I love how deep you are from this angle." I moaned as he pounded into me.
Dimitri slipped his hands around to cup my breasts in his hands, his fingers pinching at my nipples. I could feel it all the way down to my clit as he pulled me up so my back was flush against his chest, his hands still on my breasts as I was practically seated in his lap.
My hips moved over his as he thrust up into me. Just as I was on the cusp of an orgasm, his phone started beeping; the sound echoed throughout the room. "Don't you dare fucking get that, make me come first!" I cried as he pounded into me even harder while moving a hand down to finger my clit. He'd barely grazed his fingers over my nub when I shuddered over him, the orgasm rippling through me.
"Fuck, Roza. I'm coming." He exclaimed as he thrust hard a few more times before pausing his movements and growling into the back of my neck as he came inside me.
"Now, you can answer your phone." I laughed, as I fell onto the mattress beside him with a smile.
Dimitri climbed from the bed reluctantly, as he went to retrieve his phone.
"Who messaged?" I asked as he stood there looking at his screen.
"Christian." I watched as a large smile overcame his face. "Kirova's been arrested." He shared getting more of my attention. "Apparently, Stan had to use flex cuffs on her because she tried to vandalize the bus." He explained, showing me the photos on his phone from the local news article Christian shared.
"Good for Stan. Should we call him?" I asked, climbing from the bed and pulling a t-shirt from Dimitri's suitcase and tugging it on.
"Yeah, I'll do that now." He stated, as he put on a pair of workout shorts before sitting on the end of the bed.
"Stan?" He greeted.
I could only hear one end of the conversation, so Dimitri put him on speaker.
"I caught that conniving little bitch trying to set fire to the fucking bus, with me inside!" Stan announced in outrage.
"Stan, are you okay?" I asked in concern.
"I'm okay, Ms. Hathaway. Really. But I detained her and called the police." He shared.
"Nothing was damaged?" Dimitri asked for clarification.
"No, thank goodness, but the bus is covered in gas. I'm going to take her down to a car wash and hose it down first thing in the morning." He stated. "If you come out of the hotel and don't see the bus, don't be concerned." He added.
"We're just glad you're okay." I stated. "We'll let you go, Stan. Get some sleep." I relayed. "Message us when you're back with the bus and we'll meet you outside so we can get back on the road." I added.
"We will bring you some breakfast or brunch depending on the time." Dimitri added.
"I would appreciate that, and bring a lot of coffee. Please." He added with a small chuckle.
We both grinned before saying our goodbyes. Dimitri messaged everyone in a group text, letting them know he talked to Stan and shared the information we'd just gleaned from what had transpired.
Dimitri stripped off his shorts, before heading to the bathroom to clean up. He crawled into bed beside me and spooned me from behind after turning out the lights.
"People are fucking crazy." I said, randomly.
"No shit. I don't understand why she's so obsessed with us." Dimitri stated as I turned around to face him.
"You do have a knack for attracting crazy women, Comrade." I giggled.
"Not like I'm looking for it." He retorted, brushing my hair back so it lay behind me.
Leaning forward, he pressed his lips to mine, sensually. He half lay over me as I wound my arms around his shoulders, holding him closer as we were clearly on our way to round two of the night.
Finally spent, at almost 3AM, we lay in each other's embrace, completely content.
"Comrade?" I posed.
"Hmmmm…" He murmured, gently trailing his hand along my bare back as I lay half across him.
"You know you can walk away from all of this right? The tour will be over soon and it won't be an issue again." I relayed, running a hand over his chest as my cheek rested over his heart.
"I know, milaya. I just hate the business of it all. How people try to take advantage of you." He explained.
"The underhandedness of it all." I summarized.
"Exactly." He replied. "What Tasha did was underhanded; she knew what she was doing but didn't care how we felt. Then Victor, and using his daughter too." He commented, irritation evident in his tone.
"Don't get yourself worked up." I calmed. "I know how shitty certain parts of the business can be. But," I paused, lifting my head so I could meet his eyes. "At the end of the day, you love the music." I grinned.
"I love you." He replied, flipping me onto my back and kissing me once more.
"I love you, too." I giggled, as he rested his head on my chest this time. Slowly, I ran my hand through his hair.
"Don't worry, Roza. There will be no problem for any of us to walk away from this drama once the tour is done. We all want the same thing." He confirmed.
Twenty minutes later we'd both finally succumbed to sleep. Content with how things were and where they were going.
