The group is transported into the game with their normal bodies, albeit now fitted in their character's outfits and equipment.
GM AI: The game shall now commence. The Party of Adventurers shall now begin their campaign, finding themselves in the "Fire Plains of Aradume," On their quest to stop the Mad King of the Realm. You may now proceed as I respond and generate the world accordingly in a seamless process.
Alvin: Had to brag about that last part, huh?
Simon: Well, I didn't spend all this time on this project for nothing. You should be grateful.
Brittany, Theodore Jeanette and Eleanor walk around a mound of rocks. Brittany sits down to fan herself.
Eleanor: So, what do we just play the game? Like this?
Simon: Precisely, we are our characters now. What we do is as if we said we were going to take an action on the table.
Jeanette, playing with her new powers to sprout life: This is amazing!
Brittany, fanning herself: Ugh, did you have to make it, like, SO realistic? Who knew strips of cloth and leather would be so insulating! It's like a hundred degrees!
Eleanor: Well Britt, what did you expect from a place called the 'Fire Plains'?
Before Brittany could make another snarky remark, Eleanor saw smoke coming from behind and soon after Brittany felt a burning sensation, jumping into the air and right into Alvin's arms.
Brittany, looking at the burnt tip of her tail: WHAT THE- Simon! That actually hurt!
Simon: As I said, we are our characters. In every sense.
The others tried to contain their giggling. Even Alvin who had to look away from the Chipette he was carrying.
Brittany: This better not leave a mark! Not here, and not in the real world!
Editor's Note: This small series is my most experimental yet when it comes to my AU. It still technically exist in my AU, at least the interpretations of the characters but expect far less in terms of a normal progression and adherence to the main story continuity. I was just messing around one day on a discord and made a what-if where the group was sent into a virtual fantasy world since in real life I love all things fantasy and thought it might be fun. That being said, it is a product of the discord character limit again like Munk Musings, so I hope you can overlook that. If anyone out there likes it, then maybe I could go back and make them more ambitious and remastered like a normal story. But for now I hope you enjoy.

GM is "Game Master," a highly advanced AI that oversees the game and it's components and usually narrates the beginning of each situation
As for what kind of classes everyone is:
Alvin: Bard
Simon: Warlock or Wizard
Theodore: Cleric
Eleanor: Paladin
Brittany: Barbarian Princess (her class was chosen for her but she wanted to be a pretty barbarian)
Jeanette: Druid
