Im still uneasy from Fanfiction going down and wasnt entirely sure Buddy Daddies was a thing on here. Testing out New Story, I got a Error Message Error Delivery Problem Report
It was the end of their mission, hopefully not the last with how pissed Kugi was about the greatest assassins becoming dunces now that they had to wonder when the daycare will call. Rei seemed chill regardless of situation while Kazuki was mumbling to himself of the next time the daycare will call while they were away on missions.
Rei peered down at the cellphone and before he could pick it up, Kazuki snatched it away to answer.
"Kazuki?" wonders Rei.
Kazuki didnt feel any better seeing Kyutaro Kugi on the screen, though he was slightly at peace knowing the daycare didnt have anything negative to say besides how Taiga and Miri treated eachother at times.
"Ku...Kugi?" wonders Kazuki.
'I ought to call you two morons for how many slip ups you had with Miri slipping away to investigate your fatal job.'
"She's not with you?" wonders Kazuki frowning.
'Oh, she is. She loves the juice I give her.'
"Then, is there another job we have to drag ourselves to?" wonders Kazuki sweating.
'There's something I just found out about the nightly assassinations.'
"Nightly...assassinations? How many people do you send away a day?" wonders Kazuki.
'Its not our corporation dumbass.'
"Oh? Thank goodness." says Kazuki sighing in relief.
'Its an organization the human population knows of yet rarely seems like a reality.'
"Confused?" wonders Kazuki.
'I was too. There's an organization who goes after the unknowns of Japan, preferably the demon side of this country.'
"Organization that kills off Japanese demons? Isn't that...how is that real?" wonders Kazuki looking down at the cellphone.
'The humans in said corporation are a foundation that keeps the monsters of the country at bay. Their main targets are ghouls who blend in with humans.'
Rei glanced at the cell as if wanting Kugi to continue.
'They are nothing like your games Rei. Ghouls take on a human appearance yet have a different eating habit.'
"In what world would this be ok to drop on us out of nowhere!?" wonders Kazuki.
'I wasnt aware of this until I saw a white haired male with a similar hairstyle going passed my cafe.'
"Humans dont normally go crazy unless they want to be tracked down by assassins!" says Kazuki.
"What is the name of the organization?" wonders Rei.
Kazuki growled never knowing how many assassins were out there and for what causes.
'They call themselves Commission of Counter Ghoul; CCG for short.'
"What the hell kind of organization is that? Everyone we met so far is either thieving or need us to kill off." wonders Kazuki.
'Get back to my cafe and we will talk more on it. I just find it weird that I never noticed any sightings of human vs ghoul action when humans have assassins for murderous occasions.'
"DONT SPEAK LIKE THAT!" yells Kazuki before the line went dead.
In another part of Japan Kaneki was watching his long time friend Hide checking his cell phone at the entrance of the University building thanking god that Hide has yet to tread toward his part time job. He picked up on another noise hearing the peculiar club heading in Hide's direction. If he was to surprise Hide, having these oddities around would surely bring unwanted questions.
"Hide!" call the trio catching Hide's attention.
"Find information on Kaneki? Havent seen the shy away since our last ghoul expedition. Is he really worse off than before the hospital stay?" wonders Kiyama.
"I cant answer if I havent seen him in a while." mumbles Hide frowning.
"Do you know what he looks like from what the doves told you?" wonders Sankou.
"I saw his face during the raid. I think it was his face. White hair, same hairstyle, a shaky normal eye and ghoul eye he was trying to shield..." says Hide going quiet.
"He was human scented until after the surgery." mutters Cain.
"Of course you'd know. You dragged the mob to Anteiku for Christ sake! Of course Kaneki would never be safe with you around." says Hide.
"We didnt push him to leave. I mean Cain almost died but thats his own fault. You were protecting your bookworm." says Sankou.
"Heightened senses get the better of ghouls." says Cain.
"You almost killed me." says Hide bitterly.
"What you need is time away from doves and school. Maybe not the doves but definitely school. You cant focus when the mind is on bookworm." says Kiyama.
"If the doves get Kaneki, Id be out a very good best friend." says Hide.
"Your bestie hates crowds. You'd need sketchy places unless you are alone wherever you end up." says Cain.
"I wouldn't mind help just not you guys. You're help cost me a best buddy." says Hide.
"Hes not dead." says Cain.
"Yet." says Hide walking away.
café Yadorigi...
"This is a sick joke that Im not laughing at!" says Kazuki slamming the door open.
"Papa! Rei papa!" says Miri happily noticing Rei slink into the building behind the frustrated blonde.
Rei went up to the bar counter to sit down while Kazuki stayed put fuming at the so called supernatural joke.
"Miri, you shouldn't be included in this conversation!" says Kazuki angrily staring at Miri.
"She cant leave without you guys." says Kugi, a cold stare.
"Monsters arent real. They're all in the heads of kids." says Kazuki.
"I havent seen a monster papa cant handle." says Miri confused.
"Closet nor bed monsters aren't real." says Kazuki.
"I like the creatures on morio kart." says Miri.
"Games arent real." says Kazuki sitting down.
"Before we get into it, Miri's mom knows you are assassins so I am sending you to a part of Tokyo where the estranged organization is. Move if need be." says Kugi.
"Move? We are leaving mama?" wonders Miri.
"Kugi." says Kazuki glaring at the brunette.
"Miri, this is grownup business so keep yourself entertained with singing some songs from daycare." says Kugi smiling at Miri.
Miri nodded and looked for a space to sing to herself.
"Remember our last conversation about her and her mother?" wonders Kugi glaring at Kazuki and Rei.
"How can we not? You wanted to save face and strip family life away from assassin life. Getting her mom involved is really low." mutters Kazuki.
"The most I can let slide is visiting the girl however you are never to be in sight when the mother is out with her." says Kugi.
'Then why is she here now?" says Kazuki.
"She slipped away missing her favorite babysitter." says Kugi.
"Dont be so blunt." says Kazuki.
"I realize it was last minute but orders are orders when assassins cant let family life interfere." says Kugi.
"So the picture you showed us means the mother was at the festival." says Kazuki.
"Not exactly." says Kugi.
"How do you propose we move with little sleuth around?" wonders Rei.
"With your family, theres no way to disappear unless you dont speak a word. At best, if your father calls, I will inform him of another form of assassin that needs assassins to go undercover and who better than Rei, his very own son?" says Kugi.
"This demon nonsense is getting on my nerves." says Kazuki.
