One Sunday afternoon in the Inkwell Isles, Gwen is once again fighting off the Devil attempting to kidnap her. She manages to fight off the Devil by firing her cyan beam attack, blasting him into a tree. Gwen finishes him off by freezing him to the tree. She runs off into the forest as she heard the Devil yell out,

"You can't run and hide from me forever Gwen!"

Gwen cringed at that thought as she headed back to the cottage. She opens the gate, closes it and catches her breath. The cups run up to Gwen, take her hands and lead her inside the cottage. They close the door and Gwen rests on the couch with the cups sitting next to her.

"What happened? Was it the Devil again?" Cuphead asked.

"Well, I was on a walk as usual when the Devil discovered I forgot to wear my invisible sweater and tried to kidnap me again. I blasted him with my beam attack and ran off. He chased me again around the forest. I had to use my tricks to outsmart him. I managed to blast him and frozen him to a tree and got away." Gwen explained her story.

"Well, we're glad you're okay." Cuphead said.

"Just don't forget your invisible sweater next time." Mugman reminded her.

"I know Mugsy. Anyway, I'm gonna go get ready to go my parents' house for Sunday Dinner." Gwen said and headed upstairs to her room to get ready.

Clarence meets Gwen at the cottage and both step through the door portal to join her family for Sunday Dinner. After eating dessert, William gets up to make an announcement.

"Everyone, I have an announcement to make. For our next family vacation, my father has booked us a cruise trip to the Caribbean!" William announced.

Everybody cheered and applauded.

"But the problem is dad booked the trip for only 12 people. And so far, there are 8 of us. We're gonna need four more people." William finished.

Gwen thought for a moment and got an idea.

"Uh, Will?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah Gwen?" William asked.

"What about my second family. There's three of them." Gwen suggested.

William thought for a moment.

"Are you sure about this Gwen?" William asked.

"We owe them everything for all they've done for us." Gwen pointed out.

"That's true." Edgar agreed.

"They did find you and kept you safe the whole time you were gone." Margarine added.

"I'll go home and tell them!" Gwen said excitedly.

"I'll come with you honey." Clarence said.

They both step through the door portal and return to the cottage.

A few minutes later, Gwen and Clarence along with Cuphead, Mugman and Elder Kettle step through the door portal.

"Is this true William? Do you want me and the boys to join you on your family cruise?" Elder Kettle asked.

"Of course, Elder Kettle. It's the least we can do to repay you all." William answered.

"Yay! Whoo! Yay!" Both cups cheered.

"Wait, then that makes us 11. We need one more." Rose pointed out.

Just then, they heard a familiar tap-dancing sound. Gwen shook her head, immediately knowing who it was.

"Ms. Chalice, I know that's you! Come on out!" Gwen called.

Ms. Chalice tapped dance out of the door portal and leapt into Gwen's arms.

"Ya got me again girlfriend!" Ms. Chalice said happily.

"Oh boy." Rose said as she facepalmed.

"What brings you here Chalice?" Gwen asked.

"Well, I couldn't help but notice you guys were all gathered here. So, I thought I'd join you guys." Ms. Chalice answered.

"You overheard everything, didn't you?" Gwen asked.

"Yep. I'd like to be your 'one more'. Please?" Ms. Chalice asked, making cute big eyes.

"Chalice, not the face!" Gwen scolded as she closed her eyes.

But Ms. Chalice continued to charm Gwen.

"Ugh! Fine! You can come too!" Gwen yelled, forcing her to bring Ms. Chalice along.

"Yay! We're gonna have so much fun girlfriend! All of us!" Ms. Chalice said excitedly as she hugged Gwen.

William and Rose sigh, knowing Ms. Chalice can charm her way to get what she wanted.

"Anyway, now that we have all 12 in our party, when do we leave?" Edgar asked William.

"Dad said the cruise trip begins next week. We'll have some time to pack and get ready." William said.

"Yay! Whoo! Yay!" The three cups cheered.

"Wonderful. We could all use a break." Elder Kettle said.

"And we could spend some family time together." Rose added.

Everyone heads back home and prepares packing for their cruise. Gwen has her assistant Akilah along with her new best friend and Clarence's half-sister Cordelia keep an eye on the art studio while she is gone.

While Clarence was packing his bags, he stumbled on his diamond engagement ring. He thought for a moment and decided it was time for him to pop the question to Gwen during their trip and save her from the Devil. He packs the diamond ring in his suitcase, believing he is now ready to take their relationship to the next level after following Quadratus's advice on focusing on their relationship with time.

One week later, everyone meets up at the Emmons residence and Gwen secretly teleports them to the Boston harbor where the cruise ship is loading passengers.

"Well, this is it!" Gwen said to her family excitedly.

"Yes dear. We're really doing this." Edgar agreed.

"I've always wanted to see more of the human world." Elder Kettle said, dressed up for the trip.

"We're gonna have so much fun!" Cuphead said.

"Yeah! This vacation will be one to remember!" Mugman agreed.

"So, where are we going again Will?" Ms. Chalice asked William.

"We're going to the Caribbean Islands Chalice. They are very beautiful islands in the Caribbean Sea." William answered.

"Awesome!" Ms. Chalice exclaimed.

"Remember Chalice, no charming and scamming people for free stuff!" Rose reminded her.

"You got it sister!" Ms. Chalice agreed and winked.

The families board the ship, present their tickets and are escorted to their cabins. Edgar and Margarine take one cabin. Rose, William and the twins take the second cabin. Gwen and Clarence take the third cabin and Elder Kettle and the cups take the fourth cabin.

After the families settle in, they all get dressed in their bathing suits and join the other passengers on the deck where the large swimming pool and beach chairs were located. Edgar and Margarine lay on some beach chairs with Elder Kettle as Rose and William place their children in their carriage in the shade to nap while they lay in the sun together. Gwen and Clarence lay in their beach chairs, order drinks and enjoy their one-on-one time together.

Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice join other humans in the swimming pool and play water games such as Marco Polo, volleyball, jumping off diving boards etc.

After a long afternoon of fun, the families gather in the main hall for dinner and fun. While the families socialized, live music and singing was playing, and couples got on the dance floor to dance.

During their vacation, Gwen magically creates a flying camera to take pictures of everyone throughout the week.

The next day, they arrive at the Caribbean Islands and the families get off the ship. They enjoy the festivities such as swimming with stingrays, hiking, sliding down waterfalls, whale watching, underwater exploration.

The cups have fun together playing on the beach. They go get lunch and order sliders with fries. But when they get the bill, they realize they don't have any money.

"Uh oh! We forgot to get some money from daddy-o!" Cuphead exclaimed.

"What are we gonna do now?" Mugman fearfully asked.

"Leave that to me." Ms. Chalice said, getting an idea.

She eyes an older rich man and started to tap dance and turned up the charm. The old was was charmed and he kindly pays their tab. Ms. Chalice gives him a kiss on the cheek and both she and the cups took off back to the family.

"Nice work Chalice!" Cuphead complimented.

"Remember, you can get anything by turning up the charm!" Ms. Chalice reminded the cups.

They rejoin Elder Kettle, the Emmons and Smith families at their spot on the beach.

"There you three are. Where have you been?" Margarine asked the trio.

"We've been exploring the island." Mugman lied.

"Oh nice, now come on kids. The stingrays arrived. Let's go in the water and greet them." Margarine suggested.

"Yay!" All three cups cheered.

They get in the water and a fever of stingrays started circling the group. Gwen and Clarence pet a few of the stingrays together. Her flying camera takes more pictures of the moment.

Before sunset one day, Clarence was setting everything up for a private dinner with help from some local workers. Clarence gets out his diamond engagement ring, feeling a bit nervous until a local worker patted his shoulder and gave him a smile.

"Good luck." The waiter said.

"Thank you." Clarence said as he tipped him ten dollars.

Just then, Clarence noticed the three cups staring at him. He quickly hides the ring in his pocket.

"Oh! Hey guys! Uh, what are you doing here? I thought you were with the others?" Clarence asked nervously.

"Clarence, you're really doing this?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"You're gonna pop the question to Gwen?" Cuphead asked.

"Oh! We wanna help!" Mugman exclaimed, wiping some tears.

"No, thank you guys. I got some men here to help with the dinner. But this is a surprise for Gwen. And yes Chalice, I feel ready for this." Clarence assured them.

"Ooh, I can't wait to tell our Gweny!" Cuphead said excitedly and attempts to run off until Clarence stopped him.

"No, no, no Cuphead! I must tell her… alone." Clarence said.

"Yeah, Cuphead! He said this is a surprise!" Mugman scolded.

"Oh, right." Cuphead said and winked.

"Guys, promise me you'll keep this quiet until we announce it to the family tonight? I promise it'll be worth it." Clarence made them promise.

"We promise!" The three cups said at once.

"Great! Thank you all of you." Clarence said and hugged all three of them.

That evening, Gwen was ready to join her family until Clarence stopped her.

"Hey, Gwen? We're actually gonna have dinner in a different location." Clarence said.

"Really? But what about…?" Gwen was about to ask until Clarence interrupted.

"Don't worry, they know." Clarence said as he led Gwen away from the public.

They travel through the tropical forest for a while, making Gwen feel that something was up.

"Where exactly are you taking me?" Gwen asked.

Clarence giggled.

"You'll see my love…" Clarence assured her.

They reach upon tree branches blocking the view.

"Oh, hang on." Clarence said and quickly moves the tree branches, revealing the private dinner setup and the musicians started playing romantic music. Gwen gasped at the sight as Clarence looked at Gwen's reaction.

"You… you did this… for me?" Gwen asked, feeling touched.

"Yeah, I thought we could have an evening to ourselves." Clarence said as he led her to the table.

A local waiter comes up to them, pops a glass of champagne and pours their glasses. The couple take their orders and patiently wait.

"So, this vacation has been really fun so far, hasn't it?" Clarence asked.

"Oh yeah. I couldn't have anyone to spend it with than with my two families, best friends and you." Gwen answered.

Clarence blushed as he sipped some champagne.

"We really needed a break from work. Especially from the Devil." Gwen said with a sad look.

"Honey don't think about him. In fact, forget about him. Good riddance to the Devil. And good riddance to King Dice too. They are not worth it." Clarence assured her.

Gwen took a deep breath.

"You're right. I'm sorry." Gwen apologized.

"It's alright. Ooh, here they come." Clarence said, noticing the waiters returning with their dinner.

They both dine on Pot Caribbean jerk chicken and rice together while the band played romantic music.

Unknown to the couple, the three cups were hiding in the bushes spying on their date.

"Come on handsome, get to the good part!" Ms. Chalice whispered.

"Chalice! SHH!" Both cups shushed.

Ms. Chalice kept quiet, and the trio continued to spy on their best friend.

After having Caribbean sponge cake for dessert, Clarence takes Gwen's hands and both dance to the music on the beach. One of the workers activates flashing colorful lights to make the moment magical. The cups watch with tears of joy at the couple dancing.

After dancing, Gwen sits down on the beach on a blanket, looking at the stars in the sky. Clarence joins her and stares at the stars with her.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Gwen asked.

"Yes, it is." Clarence said.

"You know Clarence, we've been through so much together. The magic inkwell, the Inkwell Isles, you know. I just wanna thank you for being there for me along with my best friends in the whole world, Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice. My family. And especially putting up with the Devil whenever he struck." Gwen said.

"Yeah. Your family loves you. The cups love you. I love you." Clarence told her.

Gwen smiled and sunk her head into his chest.

"Well, should we head on back?" Gwen asked as she pulled Clarence to his feet.

"Actually Gwen. There's one more thing." Clarence said.

All three cups watch anxiously as a local waiter with a camera gets ready nearby the couple. Clarence cleared his throat and gets down on one knee, making Gwen's eyes widen.

"Gwendolyn Mae Emmons, ever since we met that fateful day at the restaurant and dance in Boston, I have been wonderstruck by you. And it was for more than your beauty. You are the bravest, imaginative, visionary, magical and surprising woman I have ever known. We've been through many battles together, family events and dramas together. Helping discover where I came from and finding my family and bringing justice to my father. I haven't had a single lonely day ever since I met you and stumbled on the Inkwell Isles with you. And I want to continue to spend the rest of my days with you." Clarence delivered a speech.

Just then, he pulls out the diamond engagement ring and held it up to Gwen.

"Will you marry me?" Clarence finally popped the question.

Gwen started crying with tears of joy as a few clicks were heard of the camera.

"Yes! I will!" Gwen answered happily.

Gwen jumped at Clarence on the blanket and kissed him. Clarence slides the diamond ring on her left ring finger. More pictures were taken as the cups started crying. Gwen and Clarence hug each other as the waiter finished up with the engagement pictures.

Gwen and Clarence walk back through the tropical forest until they heard some twigs snap. Gwen and Clarence look around until Gwen smiled, figuring it out.

"Cuphead! I know that's you! Come out!" Gwen called.

Cuphead comes out of the bushes.

"Hey, Gweny." Cuphead said.

"Ms. Chalice..." Clarence called.

Ms. Chalice comes out of a boulder in her ghost form and shapeshifted back to her living form.

"Hey guys!" Ms. Chalice said and chuckled nervously.

"Mugsy? You too." Gwen called.

Mugman falls out of the palm tree above them.

"OOF!" Mugman exclaimed.

"You were spying on us, weren't you? You knew what was gonna happen." Gwen asked, figuring it out.

"Yeah, but we just wanted to see it for ourselves! You're our best friend Gwen!" Cuphead explained.

"It's not often we get to see our best friend get proposed to you know." Mugman added.

"Yeah, my roomie finally worked up the courage to pop the question." Ms. Chalice said.

"Well, thank you guys. Now let's head on back and let us make the announcement." Gwen said.

"You got it Gweny!" Cuphead said.

The group head on back and rejoins their family.

"There you are! Where have you been?" Edgar asked.

Gwen and Clarence smiled at each other.

"What sis? What happened?" Rose asked, eager to know.

Gwen holds out her left hand, showing off her diamond engagement ring. Everybody gasped and cheered.

Edgar and Margarine hug Gwen and Clarence.

"Oh, my youngest daughter's finally getting married!" Margarine happily said while crying.

"Well, Clarence doesn't even need to ask us for our blessing, he's already earned it, and I am proud to call him my son." Edgar added as he hugged Clarence.

Rose and William hug Gwen with tears in her eyes.

"Congrats sis! It's time for you two to seal the deal!" Rose happily said.

"Yeah." William agreed.

"Thanks sis. I owe this all to you for bringing us together that day." Gwen thanked.

Rose smiled, remembering bringing Gwen with her and William to the restaurant in Boston where they first met.

Elder Kettle stood in tears, feeling happy for Gwen as he held the three cups close to him.

"Seems like only yesterday, you two brought her home into our lives." Elder Kettle said.

"Yeah. We've really come a long way." Cuphead agreed.

"Now, she's met her true love and gonna marry him." Mugman added.

"Don't worry fellas, she may be getting married. But that doesn't mean she's gonna stop being our best friend. We can still do our fun and adventures together." Ms. Chalice said.

"That's true." Cuphead agreed after thinking about it.

"Yeah, we'll just create more happy memories together." Mugman added.

"That's right boys. She's still part of our family. And Clarence will be too." Elder Kettle said.

"Yay!" The three cups cheered.

That night, an engagement party was held with the families socializing.

Unknown to the families, the Devil watched the entire proposal seething in fury. He screamed and blew up fire, destroying everything around him. Henchman managed to take cover behind a rock with King Dice.

After calming down, the Devil tapped his pitchfork and restored everything around him.

"That's it!" The Devil yelled.

He stormed up to his throne and sat down, furious than ever and seething.

"That boy's really gone and done it this time! I'm gonna make sure he and my beautiful flower don't seal the deal or else she and the magic inkwell will be out of my reach forever! And I'll never rule the two worlds!" The Devil yelled.

Henchman and King Dice gasped in horror.

"B-b-b-but boss! You know she doesn't love you; she's beat you up so many times, she's foiled your attempts to steal the cups and her friend's souls. It's time to let her go boss." Henchman tried once more to reason with his boss.

The Devil gave a glare at Henchman.

"I think it's time I go pay them a little visit on the boat before their tropical vacation is over." The Devil said angrily.

"Aw jeez." Henchman said worryingly.

On the last night of the Caribbean Cruise, the families enjoy their last night before they reach the Boston Harbor in the morning. To celebrate Gwen and Clarence's engagement, they all decide to get on the dance floor and start dancing. Edgar and Margarine dance, Rose and William dance and Gwen and Clarence dance. Elder Kettle and the three cups all dance together near the couples, having fun.

Just then, the music finished, and everybody applauded the band and singer. An older African American man who is the ship captain comes on the stage.

"Good evening, everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful week out in the Caribbean!" The ship captain announced.

Everyone cheered and applauded.

"So many new memories created from the whole experience. Especially ones that involve marriage proposals. Let's give it up for our newly engaged couple Clarence Hopewell and Gwendolyn Emmons!" The captain announced.

A spotlight shone on Gwen and Clarence as everybody cheered for them.

Edgar gets on the stage with a glass of champagne.

"And now, a word from the future bride's father, Edgar Emmons." The ship captain introduced.

"Good evening, everyone. Raise your glasses." Edgar said into the microphone and raised his glass.

Everybody raised their glasses to the couple.

"This is for my daughter Gwen and my soon to be son-in-law Clarence. Gwen and Clarence were made for each other and have overcome many obstacles together. And she couldn't have found anyone else to spend the rest of her life with. To Gwen and Clarence!" Edgar toasted.

"To Gwen and Clarence!" Everybody shouted and cheered.

Gwen and Clarence happily wave to everyone as they applauded.

"Thank you, Mr. Emmons, for that wonderful toast! Now, the future groom would like to perform a special song for his special one." The ship captain announced.

Clarence got out his ukulele and hurried up on the stage with the band preparing to play. Clarence played the opening notes to his song You Are My Light as the band joined in. Clarence started singing as couples started to slow dance as the spotlight is shone on Gwen, crying tears of joy.

Towards the end of the song, Gwen gets on the stage with Clarence. After he finished the song, they both share a passionate kiss, and everybody cheered as cameras were taking pictures.

"Aw, that was so beautiful! I gotta get a record of that song and play it for my wife. Alright folks, let's finish off the evening with more dancing and fun!" The ship captain announced.

Gwen and Clarence exit the stage with various people congratulating them on the performance and engagement. The couple return to the family and all hug each other.

"I think we've had enough fun for a while. Let's head back to our cabins." Elder Kettle said feeling tired and holding the sleeping twins Emma and Jack.

The cups started yawning.

"Yeah, I'm ready to hit the sack." Mugman said.

"I think we all are." Rose agreed.

"We can all thank my dad for making this all a reality." William said.

"Actually Will, I wanna thank you." Clarence said.

"Really?" William asked.

"This was a wonderful idea you did for all of us. You brought us together and it was the perfect moment to propose to Gwen. I have you to thank for all of this." Clarence said.

Gwen and Rose smiled and held hands.

"You're welcome, brother." William thanked, calling Clarence his brother and both hug each other.

But as they prepared to leave for their cabins, an explosion was heard, and a large cloud of smoke came from the grand staircase with shining red light on an unexpected guest.

The Devil in a fancy tuxedo, wearing a fancy masquerade mask appeared at the top of the grand staircase, striking a pose with his pitchfork. Henchman appeared too behind the Devil.

Everybody gasped at the sight of the Devil as Gwen grew scared, fearing the Devil would find out about the engagement. Clarence stepped in front of Gwen, preparing to protect her. Edgar, Margarine, William and Rose step in front of the couple, preparing to protect them.

"Elder Kettle! Take Emma and Jack and get them to the cabin!" Rose whispered.

Elder Kettle took Emma and Jack and hurried out of the grand ballroom.

The Devil walked casually down the stairs as the humans backed away fearfully as he drew closer. The ship captain reached the radio backstage.

"Emergency! Get security in the grand ballroom! We got an intruder attacking the guests!" The ship captain ordered!

A group of armed security guards barge in and aimed their guns at the Devil.

"FREEZE! DO NOT MOVE OR WE WILL SHOOT!" One guard yelled.

"Aw jeez." Henchman said nervously.

But the Devil smirked and continued to approach the guests.

"FIRE!" A guard yelled.

The guards shoot their guns at the Devil. But to everyone's horror, the bullets drop to the ground. The Devil magically made the bullets stop from hitting him. The Devil laughed evilly, then he raised his pitchfork and blasted all the guards away from him. Everybody gasped in horror as the Devil continued walking through the crowd.

The Devil noticed a frightened waiter with a platter of champagne glasses. He takes a glass and drinks it in one gulp.

"Why so silent my good humans?" The Devil asked calmly.

The ship captain holding a gun angrily approached the Devil.

"Look buddy, I don't know what you are or where you came from, but you better get outta my ship or else!" The ship captain shouted and pointed his gun at the Devil.

The Devil snickered.

"Very brave words... for a mortal." The Devil taunted.

The Devil placed his glass down, aimed his pitchfork at the ship captain and levitated him up in the air, making everyone scream.

"No! Stop this!" The ship captain yelled.

Suddenly, the Devil dropped the ship captain to the floor, injuring him along with the security guards.

"Now, then. Where was I? Ah, yes. Word has grabbed my ear that a certain someone got… engaged recently." The Devil said.

Gwen felt her heart beating fast as she and Clarence took cover in a dark corner. Clarence hides inside a loaded baggage cart, having a plan.

The Devil turned his attention to the Emmons, Smiths and the three cups. The Devil creepily approached them.

"Well, well, well. Looks like you've all been having quite a week together." The Devil said with an evil grin as he took off his mask.

"Get out you sick all-time loser!" Rose yelled.

Rose cracked her knuckles and charged at the Devil. But the Devil stopped her from punching him and levitated her away from him, injuring her. William gasped in horror and attacked the Devil by shoving him against a table and choking him.

"Keep your filthy claws off my wife and family!" William yelled as he continued to strangle him.

The Devil snickered and made his head pop off his body, scaring William. He rolled his head on his arms like a basketball until he placed it back on his body. Then, he surprised William with a blast from his pitchfork, making him land near his wife, injuring him too.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You humans never learn anything." The Devil taunted.

The Devil turned his attention to Edgar and Margarine, who bravely stood their ground as the three cups hid behind them.

"Well, well, well Mr. and Mrs. Emmons. Looks like you both denied me what is rightfully mine!" The Devil scolded.

"I told you once and I'll tell you again. You will NEVER have our blessing to marry our daughter!" Edgar bravely yelled.

"She will never be yours! EVER!" Margarine bravely added.

The Devil stared at them unamused.

"Fine. Then, I'll have to do this the hard way… again." The Devil said, losing patience.

He used his pitchfork and levitated the couple and threw them aside along with the cups.

He looked at the dark corner where Gwen was hiding and used telekinesis to move the baggage cart aside, unaware Clarence was hiding inside preparing for an attack. He magically shines a spotlight on Gwen as she looked at him in horror.

The Devil approached Gwen as she backed against the wall while Clarence prepared to attack.

"You are so beautiful tonight as always my beautiful flower." The Devil warmly complimented.

Gwen said nothing, still following Quadratus's advice.

"Still nothing to say? Well, my dear, I have something to say to you." The Devil said, seemingly calm.

The Devil held her trembling face as tears poured from her eyes. He noticed the diamond engagement ring on her left ring finger. He takes her left hand and angrily took the ring off her finger and stuffed it in his pocket.

"I claimed you first! You belong to me! As do the cups souls!" The Devil angrily said in his demonic voice as fire started to surround them.

Gwen struggled to get away as the Devil magically restrained her in chains and lifted her up in his arms.

"This time, no one will save you from your fate!" The Devil said as he prepared to teleport back to Hell when suddenly…

BANG!

The Devil is hit on the back of the head by Clarence with his ukulele as he once did with the conman he fought before, thus knocking the Devil unconscious. Gwen quickly scoots away from the Devil as Clarence came out of hiding and angrily looked at the Devil.

"Did you forget about me you sadistic, heartless jerk?!" Clarence yelled angrily.

Clarence started beating up the Devil as Gwen rejoins her family. Cuphead and Mugman quickly give her the magic inkwell and ink pen. Ms. Chalice managed to free Gwen from her chains using her ghost powers. Gwen used her magic to heal her parents, Rose, William, the ship captain and the security guards.

Then she focused her attention on Clarence beating up the Devil. Gwen approached Clarence angrily punching the Devil.

"Never come near Gwen, her family, friends or me again! EVER!" Clarence yelled in fury.

Gwen calms Clarence down as he swiped the diamond ring back.

"Okay, honey that's enough!" Gwen told him.

Clarence took deep breaths and calmed down. He slides the ring back on Gwen's left ring finger. Gwen hugged Clarence, crying in his chest.

"It's okay my love. You're safe now." Clarence said to his fiancée.

Gwen gives him another kiss as the crowd cheered along her family. The cups approach the couple and gesture the crowd to cheer for Clarence for his act of heroism.

Gwen lifted Cuphead and Mugman and Clarence lifted Ms. Chalice and raised them up to the crowd.

"Thank you, guys." Gwen thanked her best friends.

"Aw, you're welcome Gweny." Cuphead said.

"Anything for you, sister." Mugman added.

"Great thinking with the ghost trick Chalice!" Clarence complimented.

"Aw, thanks handsome." Ms. Chalice said and winked.

Meanwhile, Henchman quickly approached his unconscious boss with a plate of desserts he collected for himself.

"Oh no! Boss!" Henchman exclaimed fearfully.

Gwen turned around and noticed Henchman was trying to drag his boss to the elevator he summoned.

"Allow me." Gwen said.

Gwen used her ink pen to levitate the Devil and threw him in the elevator.

"Duh, thanks Gwen." Henchman thanked nervously.

"And when your boss wakes up, tell him to never ever come near me or my family again or else next time's gonna be even worse! Got it?" Gwen angrily threatened.

"Yes ma'am! We'll be going now! Bye bye!" Henchman fearfully said and quickly leaves into the elevator.

He closed the door and made the elevator disappear into the floor.

The group sigh of relief as the family joins the group and hugs them all while everybody cheered once again. After magically cleaning up the mess the Devil made, Gwen used the magic inkwell to magically erase all the memories of the events of everyone except her family so no one will remember the Devil's or the magic inkwell's existence.

The next morning, the families were packed up and ready to head for home. They leave the boat and return to the harbor. Gwen magically teleports the families back to her parents' house. They all hug each other goodbye as Rose and William take Emma and Jack and drive back home. Gwen, Clarence, Elder Kettle and the cups step through the door portal and back to the cottage.

"Ah that was a fun vacation! Wasn't it boys and girls?" Elder Kettle asked.

"YEAH!" The three cups exclaimed happily.

"Our dear Gwen is now engaged with Clarence, and we got a lot to plan for the upcoming wedding!" Elder Kettle said excitedly.

"YEAH!" The three cups cheered.

Gwen and Clarence smiled at her family, then she remembered something.

"Oh, I hope Akilah and Cordelia didn't have any trouble watching the art studio. I better go check on them." Gwen said.

"I'll go with you." Clarence said.

They both walk to the art studio in the forest and enter. To their shock, everything was clean, and artwork and clothes were neatly put into place. Akilah and Cordelia enter from the office and shot confetti cannons and released balloons and a "Congratulations Gwen and Clarence!" banner.

A group of the Inkwell Isles residents including Ribby and Croaks, Porkrind, Jerry, Captain Brineybeard, Djimmi, Goopy, Cagney Carnation, Sally Stageplay, Hilda Berg, Rumor Honeybottoms, Katzenwagen, Beppi the Clown and Dr. Kahl appeared along with Gwen's childhood friend Kizzy Thompson.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Everyone shouted together.

Akilah, Kizzy and Cordeila hug Gwen and Clarence.

"Congrats girl. You deserve to be happy." Kizzy congratulated.

"You deserve to be happy too Kizzy. You and Isaiah." Gwen complimented.

"Thanks." Kizzy thanked.

"Aw, you girls didn't have to do this!" Gwen said to Cordelia and Akilah, feeling touched.

"We wanted to boss. Cordelia told me what Clarence was planning during your vacation and so we came up with a plan to celebrate your engagement too! And invited everyone here to celebrate!" Akilah explained.

"Yes! We're finally gonna be sister-in-laws Gwen! I never had a sister until I met you!" Cordelia said while she was crying.

"Thanks, sis, for doing this for us." Clarence thanked Cordelia.

"Anything for my big brother and my sister-in-law!" Cordelia said happily.

So, Gwen and Clarence announce to their closest friends in the Inkwell Isles about their engagement and everyone cheered and congratulated them. Edgar and Margarine agree to help with planning the wedding as they did with Rose and William's wedding, which won't be for another year since weddings take time and patience but will be worth the wait.
