It had been a while since Gwen celebrated her 20th birthday and her twin niece and nephew celebrated their first birthday. St. Patrick's Day was coming up and Gwen was planning to briefly visit the origin of the holiday: Ireland. Gwen does some research on a map of Ireland and decided to go to the village Ennistymon.

She packs her satchel and needs to find a place to teleport without her friends catching on to her again like her experience with the North Pole at Christmas. She goes to her room, closes the door and prepared to teleport.

Suddenly the cups open the door and Gwen quickly hid her ink pen behind her back.

"Guys! Knock next time!" Gwen scolded.

"Sorry Gwen. We were just wonderin' if you've seen Elder Kettle's lucky tire?" Cuphead asked.

"It's outside by the handle." Gwen answered.

"Thanks Gwen!" Both cups thanked and both ran off.

Gwen sighed then closed the door and once again prepared to teleport. But once again, the door burst open, making Gwen hide her ink pen again.

"What now?" Gwen asked impatiently.

"Have you seen our lucky stick?" Mugman asked.

"Outside by the lucky tire by the handle." Gwen impatiently answered.

"Thanks Gwen!" Both cups thanked and both ran off.

"Ugh! Will those two ever stop nosing in my business?" Gwen asked frustratingly.

Gwen looked outside her room to make sure the cups didn't barge in on her again. She even looked outside her bedroom window to be sure. She watches Cuphead and Mugman playing with the tire and stick happily.

She sighed of relief and prepared to teleport. But as she teleported, she heard familiar voices yell,

"SURPRISE!"

They appear in the village of Ennistymon. Gwen realized too late Cuphead and Mugman once again stowed away with her.

Gwen groaned frustratingly.

"Guys! I thought you were playing with Elder Kettle's lucky tire!" Gwen scolded.

"We were but then a little birdie told us you were going somewhere." Cuphead nervously answered.

"A little birdie? Who would… on no…" Gwen asked until she realized who and facepalmed.

"Chalice! I know you're here!" Gwen called out.

Ms. Chalice in her ghost form appeared out of her satchel.

"Hiya girlfriend! Goin' somewhere?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"Chalice, I thought I told you to stop snooping into my business!" Gwen scolded.

"Aw come on. Why did you wanna come to this beautiful green place?" Ms. Chalice asked.

Gwen sighed, having no choice but to come clean.

"This is the country of Ireland. Also known as the Green Isle. Some of my ancestors came from Ireland. With St. Patrick's Day coming up, I wanted to explore some of Ireland." Gwen answered.

"Wow neat!" Both cups exclaimed.

"Where are we now?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"We're in Ennistymon Village. It's the town closest to what I've always wanted to see: the Cliffs of Moher." Gwen answered.

"Oooh!" All three said, fascinated.

"Alright then, follow me and stay close!" Gwen instructed.

Gwen led the group into the village, and they all look around fascinated. They pass by several buildings and stores and notice a local tavern called the Shamrock Tavern.

"Wanna get a drink or something?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" All three exclaimed.

They enter the tavern and find a table to sit at and a young long-haired light redhead waitress approach them.

"Hello dere travlers! The name's Darcy Flanagan! Welcome to the Shamrock Tavern! What can I get ye today?" Darcy introduced herself and asked.

"Hi Darcy. We'll get four root beers please." Gwen said politely.

"Aye. Ye got young ones with ya. Four root beers it is!" Darcy said and went off to get their drinks.

"She seems nice." Mugman said.

"Yeah. Maybe the folks here are nice." Gwen agreed.

"She's even a redhead like you." Cuphead said.

"Most people here are redheads. But some are brunette or even blonde." Gwen explained.

"Hey, here she comes!" Ms. Chalice said.

Darcy returns with their root beers.

"Thank you." Gwen thanked.

"My pleasure!" Darcy said.

Each one grabbed a root beer.

"Cheers!" All four exclaimed.

Each takes a sip while Mugman gulped his drink in one sip.

"OUCH!" Mugman exclaimed in pain on his head.

"Mugsy, I warned you not to drink it in one gulp!" Gwen reminded him.

"Wow. You lads and lassies aren't from around here, are ya?" Darcy asked.

"No, we're not." Gwen answered.

"What are yer names?" Darcy asked.

"I'm Gwendolyn Mae Emmons. Gwen for short. And this is Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice." Gwen introduced herself and her friends.

"What brings ya to tis Ennistymon Village?" Darcy asked.

"We're just exploring. That's all. I also wanna see the Cliffs of Moher." Gwen answered.

"Ah. Tis the beautiful Cliffs of Moher in the beautiful Emerald Isle. Ye will be struck by its wonders and beauty. Me granddad showed me years ago. He played his fiddle for me and then taught me to play the fiddle. I wish to be a violinist like him." Darcy said.

"Wow. Neat." Cuphead said.

"Just whatever you do, stay away from the leprechauns." Darcy warned.

"The what?" All three cups asked.

"Leprechauns. Dastardly wee devils." Darcy answered.

"Uh, Darcy? You know leprechauns aren't real, right?" Gwen asked.

"No Gwen. They are real as your cup-headed lads and lass here in drawing form." Darcy said, making a point.

"Touché." Gwen admitted.

"Like I was sayin'… the leprechauns seem jolly and giddy. But deep down, they're mean little devils. They play tricks on anyone who dares venture to the hills and take their gold. Many have tried, but all have failed. Only an Eejit would dare go take all that gold." Darcy finished the story.

"Woah." Gwen said, impressed.

"The only clue to finding them is in the poem by William Allingham The Leprechaun or Fairy Shoemaker." Darcy explained.

Darcy gets out a paper and shows Gwen.

Gwen reads aloud,

"Tip-tap, rip-rap,

Tick-a-tack-too!

Scarlet leather, sewn together,

This will make a shoe.

Left, right, pull it tight;

Summer days are warm;

Underground in winter,

Laughing at the storm!

Lay your ear close to the hill.

Do you not catch the entity clamor,

Busy click of an elfin hammer.

Voice of the Leprechaun singing shrill

As he merrily plies his trade?

He's a span

And quarter in height,

Get him in sight, hold him tight,

And you're a made man!"

The cups looked shocked at the poem Gwen read aloud.

"Aye. You will need all the luck you'll need if you wish to find the leprechauns and their well-guarded gold. Times have been hard in our town, and we could really use all that gold to help us. Especially my ill granddad. We need money for his medicine. That's why I work for that money. But it's still not enough." Darcy sadly said.

"I'm so sorry Darcy. Well, I'm not afraid of little tricksters. I live with a trickster. Ain't that right Cuphead?" Gwen asked.

"Yep, that's me!" Cuphead proudly admitted.

"Well, thanks for the root beer and the story. Here you go and good day." Gwen said as she paid Darcy and leaves the tavern with her friends.

Darcy watched them leave in wonder.

"What if she succeeds in getting the gold?" Darcy asked herself then went back to work.

Later, Gwen and the cups travel through the Irish hills until they finally reach the Cliffs of Moher.

"Wow. It's even better in person." Gwen said, amazed with the view.

"I see why you wanted to come here Gweny." Mugman said.

"Yeah. What a killer view." Cuphead agreed.

"This is part of why I wanna explore your world girlfriend." Ms. Chalice said.

"I know." Gwen said.

After a while of watching the view, the group decide to head on back.

"Alright, I think we've seen enough. Let's head on back." Gwen said.

"Okay." All three cups agreed.

Before Gwen could teleport, an elder man approached the group.

"Wait lassie!" The stranger called.

The group looked at the stranger.

"I heard your new around here. Are ya lookin' for the leprechauns too?" The stranger asked.

"Uh, no. Leprechauns ain't real. So, if you'll excuse us." Gwen declined and prepared to leave.

"Wait! If I prove to ya that leprechauns are real, will ya help me with gettin' the gold?" The stranger asked.

"Uh, who are you?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"I be Darby lassie. I see ye are not human tis you three." Darby answered.

"No, we're not." Mugman confirmed.

"Why do you need our help?" Gwen asked.

"I heard tales of ya lass." Darby answered.

Gwen snickered.

"Right. What kind of tales?" Gwen asked sarcastically.

"Like the tale of your kidnappin' by the Devil himself. And the tale of the magic inkwell. Also, the tale of you savin' the astral plane. Am I right?" Darby asked.

Gwen stood wide-eyed, feeling shocked that this stranger somehow knows about her and her adventures.

"W-w-who told you?" Gwen asked nervously.

"Don't fret lassie. Yer secret's safe with me. So, what do ye say? You help a poor old lad out? And ye will get yer share of the gold." Darby asked.

Gwen was unsure if she should trust him.

"I don't know sir." Gwen said.

"Aw please Gwen? Please?" Ms. Chalice asked, making cute big eyes.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" Both cups exclaimed.

Gwen groaned frustratingly.

"Fine! If we help you, will you leave us be?" Gwen asked Darby.

"Aye lassie. And do not worry yourself. You will be rewarded." Darby assured her.

The group start their way towards the hills. They follow the clues in the poem and Gwen notices the clue 'lay your ear on the hill.'

"I wonder…" Gwen said.

She knelt on the hill and placed her ear on the ground. The cups do the same. Just then, she hears something.

"Hey, do you hear that?" Cuphead asked.

"Shh!" Gwen shushed.

"I hear it too." Mugman agreed.

"It sounds like metal clanking." Ms. Chalice said.

"Hmm. It's like there's a blacksmith or a shoemaker underground?" Gwen asked, feeling confused.

Suddenly without warning, a flash of green light struck the group, rendering them unconscious.

A while later, the group wake up in what appeared to be an underground lair in a throne room with a mountain full of gold. They find themselves tied to a stalagmite.

"Hey look! The gold!" Cuphead exclaimed.

"Where are we?" Mugman asked.

"I think we're underground!" Gwen said, looking around.

"Aye, that is correct lassie." Darby's voice echoed.

"Show yourself you coward!" Gwen angrily yelled.

Just then, Darby appeared from out of the shadows.

"I apologize for this inconvenience, but I can't let my new prize escape me kingdom." Darby said sinisterly.

"What? Why are you doing this?!" Gwen angrily asked.

"Why ye ask? I have a surprise for ye." Darby said.

Suddenly, green magic surrounded him, shrinking him down to 1 foot in size", shocking the group.

"He's a leprechaun?!" Ms. Chalice asked shockingly.

"TA-DA!" Darby exclaimed as he put on a little crown as more leprechauns arrived and surround the group.

"Darby? You're a leprechaun?" Gwen asked.

"Aye lassie! I am the ruler of the leprechauns King Darby!" Darby revealed himself.

"King?" Both cups asked shockingly.

"Now he tells us!" Ms. Chalice said frustratingly.

"Don't get any ideas lassie. That rope is magic proof. Ye can't turn into a ghost!" Darby warned Chalice.

"Wait, how did you know that?" Ms. Chalice asked as she struggled.

"I have me ways." Darby said.

All three cups groaned.

"Still think leprechauns ain't real?" Darby asked Gwen as he and the leprechauns laugh at her.

"What do you want?" Gwen impatiently asked.

"Glad ya asked. Ye see, me people here are tired of your people tryin' to steal our precious gold from us and capturin' us. But we trick those simple-minded people away and yet they never stop comin' back!" Darby said, feeling ticked.

Gwen is not convinced by his story.

"What do you mean? Isn't that what always goes on at this time of year?" Gwen asked.

"Aye. Tis St. Patrick's Day. But it just gets so annoyin'! So, I thought we thought we capture the most powerful human: you lassie!" Darby revealed.

"What do you mean most powerful and why me?" Gwen asked.

"Tis the magic inkwell ye got from your granddad! Also, the cosmic powers of the astral plane! Isn't that why yer hair and eyes glow and change colors lassie? And yer friends are from another world called the Inkwell Isles, are they not?" Darby asked, revealing he knows her secret.

"Uh oh. Now they know about it." Mugman said worryingly.

"Why are you little jerks after me and my powers?!" Gwen impatiently asked.

"We want more gold and more power! Therefore, you will be our servant and cater to our every whim with yer magic." Darby answered.

"What?! No! I'm no one's slave!" Gwen protested.

"Of course, ye don't wanna see yer friends gettin' hurt now, do ya?" Darby sinisterly asked as he snapped his fingers.

Some of the leprechauns use their magic to torture the three cups.

"OUCH!" All three cry out in pain.

"No! Stop it!" Gwen yelled.

"Or yer new darlin' Irish girlfriend?" Darby asked as he snapped his fingers again.

More leprechauns grab a rope and pull in a tied and gagged Darcy into the throne room.

Gwen gasped in horror.

"Darcy!" Gwen exclaimed.

Darcy tried to yell for help but couldn't because of her gag.

"I'm sorry lassie. I can't understand a word yer sayin'!" Darby taunted and laughed as all the leprechauns laughed.

"You little monsters!" Gwen yelled.

"Uh, uh, uh lassie! Ye do as I command, and your cup friends and new friend won't be hurt." Darby warned Gwen as he prepared to torture Darcy next.

Gwen sighed, realizing she has no choice.

"What do you want?" Gwen asked sadly.

"Good lass. First, you'll give us more gold to add to our collection!" Darby ordered her.

Several leprechauns untie Gwen but leave the cups tied up. Gwen gets out her ink pen and starts magically giving them more than enough gold than ever.

"Alright, that be enough!" Darby commanded.

Gwen stopped her magic.

"Now, I want some entertainment." Darby requested.

"Like what kind?" Gwen asked.

"An Irish jig! We want to dance!" Darby answered.

Gwen thought for a moment, then got an idea.

"Wait, we already have the entertainment here!" Gwen said.

"What are ye jabberin' bout lassie?" Darby asked.

"Darcy here is a violinist. She can play for you. But first, you must untie and ungag her." Gwen stated her demands.

"Ugh! Very well! But ye better be true to yer word!" Darby warned her.

"Oh, I promise. No tricks." Gwen promised.

Darby snapped his fingers and Darcy was magically untied and ungagged. She gets up and approached Gwen.

"Gwen! What are ye doin'?" Darcy asked.

"Trust me on this! I need you to play a jig for them!" Gwen whispered and winked, hinting she has a plan.

"I can't play a jig." Darcy protested.

"Why not?" Gwen asked.

"I don't have a violin." Darcy answered.

"No problem! Lassie! Create for her a violin with that inkwell!" Darby ordered her.

"Okay, fine!" Gwen frustratingly agreed.

She grabbed her ink pen and magically created a violin for Darcy. It floated into Darcy's hands, to her amazement.

"You are magical as they say you are?" Darcy asked.

"In those words, yes." Gwen confirmed.

"Come on! Come on! Let's dance already!" Darby demanded.

"Alright! Fine!" Gwen argued back.

Gwen turned to Darcy.

"Play them a jig to dance to. Keep them distracted long enough for me to free my friends and get help and us out of here." Gwen whispered the plan.

Darcy nodded. She sits on a rock and holds up the violin. Darcy started playing 'Shallowtail Jig' and all the leprechauns started dancing to the music including Darby. Gwen moves along to the music making it look like she's having fun too. She danced toward her friends while the leprechauns were distracted.

"Gwen! What's your plan?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"SHH!" Gwen shushed her.

She started untying her friends.

"Alright. You guys dance with them and turn up the charm. I'm gonna summon us some help." Gwen quietly instructed.

"Okay." All three whispered.

Gwen unties her friends and Ms. Chalice started tap dancing with the leprechauns and uses her charm to win them over. Then Cuphead and Mugman join in with her dancing.

Gwen takes the opportunity to quietly use the inkwell to create a portal to the Inkwell Isles. She magically sends a giant letter to someone. After sending the letter Gwen patiently waited until another giant letter pops up from the portal. Gwen levitates the letter and quietly read.

"Fine. I will help. But you owe me for this."

Gwen smiled, then she got to work bringing someone to the underground caverns. After a while, Gwen rejoined the group as Darcy finished playing the jig. Everyone applauded her and Gwen stood next to Darcy.

"That was wonderful lassie! Now do another jig!" Darby demanded.

Darcy looked at Gwen and she gave a wink. Darcy sighed and held up her fiddle again and started playing the sea shaunty song 'Drunken Sailor'. While the leprechauns were dancing, Gwen danced to her three best friends.

"Gwen, what are you doing?" Cuphead quietly asked.

"I brought someone to help us." Gwen whispered.

"Who?" Mugman asked.

"She's preparing herself." Gwen whispered.

"She?" Both cups whispered.

"You'll see guys." Gwen whispered as the song came to an end.

Everyone applauds Darcy once again when all of a sudden, they feel an earthquake rumbling, making the leprechauns feel scared.

"What be happenin'? A bloomin' earthquake?" Darby asked fearfully.

Darcy held on to Gwen.

"Gwen? What did you do?" Darcy whispered.

"You'll see. Do me a favor and don't scream." Gwen quietly warned her.

Just then, a giant familiar creature emerged from the portal. A loud roaring was heard, making everyone scream. The creature turned out to be Cala Maria in her sea beast form emerging from the portal. All the leprechauns screamed and started to disappear from the cavern including Darby.

Once all the leprechauns were gone, Gwen runs up to Cala Maria.

"Okay! They're gone!" Gwen said.

Cala Maria shifted back to her normal form.

"That was fun little minnow. Did you see the look on their puny faces?" Cala Maria asked laughing.

"Cala Maria!" All three cups exclaimed.

"Cala… what?" Darcy fearfully asked, terrified at the size of Cala Maria.

"Cala Maria." Mugman answered.

Gwen looked at Darcy, realizing she is scared of her giant friend.

"It's okay Darcy! She's a friend!" Gwen assured her.

"Well, well. Looks like you have another human friend." Cala Maria said, noticing a frightened Darcy.

Darcy ducked down behind the cups.

"Yeah. We just made friends with Darcy." Gwen explained.

"Hmm. I think I prefer little lamprey." Cala Maria suggested her nickname.

Cala Maria leaned down to the cups and Darcy. She peeked up at the sea beast.

"You're… not going to… gobble us up?" Darcy nervously asked.

"Well little lamprey, you do look nice, soft and crunchy. But… my little minnow won't allow it." Cala Maria answered.

Darcy was unsure but will take her word for it since Gwen is friends with Cala Maria.

"Alrighty then. Let's get the gold and get outta here, shall we?" Cuphead asked.

"Okay buddy." Gwen said.

Gwen got out her ink pen and magically collected all the gold and treasures. Then, she teleported themselves out of the caverns and appeared at the rock-covered beach near the Cliffs of Moher.

"Now this is more like it." Cala Maria said, admiring the beauty of Ireland.

"Wow, you are magical just like the leprechauns." Darcy complimented.

"Thanks. I get that a lot." Gwen thanked.

"Last one is a rotten egg!" Cuphead called.

All three cups run to jump in the water.

"Uh, lads and lass I wouldn't do that! The water is…" Darcy tried to warn them.

SPLASH!

All three cups were freezing cold and come out shivering back to the humans.

"…Cold." Darcy finished as she winced at their pain.

Mugman and Ms. Chalice glared at Cuphead.

"N-n-n-now s-s-she t-t-tells m-m-m-m-me!" Cuphead complained as he shivered.

Gwen shook her head and magically wrapped her friends in warm blankets and serves them hot cocoa.

Cala Maria leaned down to the group.

"Alright little minnow. I came through my end of the deal. Now, you owe me." Cala Maria reminded her.

"I know. What do you want?" Gwen asked.

"Since we're already here, I'd like a little vacation right here in Ireland." Cala Maria answered.

"Vacation?" Darcy asked.

"Yes, little lamprey. Even we sea beasts need a break just like you humans do." Cala Maria explained.

"Well okay. But only if you promise not to eat anyone, destroy any ships, turn anyone into stone and stay out of sight." Gwen wanted Cala Maria to promise.

Cala Maria sighed, knowing Gwen would make her promise those conditions.

"Alright little minnow. But first…" Cala Maria said as she held out her hand.

"Of course." Gwen said, knowing what she wanted.

Gwen magically created another box of her favorite treats: squid livers.

"Perfect." Cala Maria said as she took out a squid liver and started eating.

Darcy is disgusted by the squid livers.

"And I thought black pudding and tripe were disgusting!" Darcy quietly complained.

"What's that?" Mugman asked.

"You really want to know Muglad?" Darcy asked.

Mugman nodded.

Darcy knelt down to Mugman and whispered what black pudding and tripe really is. Suddenly, Mugman's eyes popped, and he quickly ran off to a private spot and started throwing up.

"I warned him." Darcy said.

"Yep." Gwen agreed.

"What did she say?" Cuphead asked.

"Oh, she told Mugsy black pudding is a sausage made of pork blood, pork fat and oatmeal. And tripe a cow's stomach some people here eat." Gwen calmly explained.

"Oh…" Cuphead and Ms. Chalice said.

Suddenly, both their eyes popped and run off to join Mugman and they also started throwing up. Darcy and Gwen giggled at them.

"What's wrong with them?" Cala Maria asked.

"Oh, they got bad tummy aches." Gwen lied.

"Alright then, I'm ready to start my vacation. Little lamprey, play me a song on that little instrument of yours. I like that last song you played." Cala Maria said.

Darcy got out the violin and started playing 'Drunken Sailor' again, to Cala Maria's delight. Just then, her violin started glowing and little brown crabs started crawling on the beach surrounding Gwen and Darcy and started dancing. Gwen realized she must've made the violin enchanted.

Gwen tapped Darcy and gestured her to look. Darcy is shocked at her violin glowing and the brown crabs dancing. When she finishes the song, the crabs retreat back to the rocks.

Cala Maria gave a little applause.

"Wonderful lamprey. Now then, I'll go explore the sea." Cala Maria said.

"Alright but remember to stay out of sight. We can't let other humans know about you." Gwen reminded her.

"Oh, don't worry little minnow. I have my ways." Cala Maria assured her and took off in the sea.

Darcy sighed of relief.

"Well, what do you say we head on back?" Gwen asked.

"Oh yes. Please." Darcy agreed.

Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice approach the humans, feeling exhausted from throwing up.

"Yes Gwen. Can we go home now?" Cuphead asked.

"We're leaving now guys." Gwen assured him.

"Finally!" Ms. Chalice exclaimed.

Gwen teleports the group back to Ennistymon Village.

"Ah good to be back." Darcy said.

"At least we're rich now with all that gold." Ms. Chalice said.

"Chalice, we're not the ones who need this money." Gwen said.

"What do you mean?" Mugman asked.

"First, we're gonna help Darcy's granddad." Gwen said.

"Really? You mean it?" Darcy asked.

"Where's your pharmacy? And what medication does he need?" Gwen asked.

"He's got a bad case of strep throat. We need penicillin immediately." Darcy answered.

"Let's go." Gwen said.

Darcy leads the group to the doctor. Gwen uses the leprechaun gold to pay for the penicillin.

"This is it! Granddad is saved!" Darcy said excitedly and hugged Gwen.

They follow Darcy back to her cottage where she lived. They go upstairs to the master bedroom and find Darcy's grandfather in bed.

"Granddad, I got it!" Darcy said excitedly.

"What's that Darcy me darlin'?" Darcy's grandfather asked.

"Your medicine!" Darcy announced.

"Wonderful." Darcy's grandfather said happily.

Darcy gives him the pills and has him drink two of them.

"I see ya brought company." Darcy's grandfather said, noticing Gwen and the cups.

"They are me new friends. Gwen, Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice helped me get the medicine. Everyone, this is me Granddad Brian. And you'll never guess what we did." Darcy introduced.

"Aye?" Brian asked.

"We were kidnapped by the leprechauns and Gwen saved us and we took all their gold. Gwen show 'em." Darcy said.

Gwen turned and secretly made a beautiful pot and placed some of the gold they retrieved and filled it up. The cups lifted the pot and showed Brian the pot of gold.

"In all me days, I never thought I'd live to see the pot of gold for meself." Brian said, amazed.

He looked at Gwen.

"Tis you who outsmarted the leprechauns and took all their gold?" Brian asked.

"Yes. But I didn't do it alone. Darcy helped distract them with her new violin while I got help from a friend." Gwen explained.

"Wow. Yer full of surprises lassie." Brian complimented.

"Thank you, sir." Gwen thanked.

Darcy showed her grandfather the enchanted violin and played a gentle tune. Her violin started glowing again and flowers started growing all around the bedroom to the group's amazement. After finishing the melody, Darcy notices the flowers around the bedroom.

"Oh my. Did I do that?" Darcy asked.

"Yes, you did." Gwen said as she placed her hand on her shoulder.

Darcy smiled at Gwen.

Later, Gwen showed Darcy her magic by secretly donating the gold to the poor villagers who needed money. Darcy learns from Gwen and plays her violin to magically donate the gold to the poor.

"Wow, she made that violin magical." Ms. Chalice said.

"Yep. It's like Gwen saw potential in her." Mugman said.

"Too bad we're going home without any gold." Cuphead said sadly.

"Don't worry Cuphead, I'm not giving it all away." Gwen said.

"Yes!" Cuphead said exclaimed excitedly.

After giving the poor villagers enough gold, Gwen and her friends prepare to leave for home.

"Gwen, you could always stay here with us. We need someone like you to help our village. And I want to learn magic from you." Darcy offered.

Gwen smiled and shook her head.

"Sorry, I'm already a protector for the Inkwell Isles. Besides, your village already has one. And I'll come back to teach every now and then." Gwen answered.

Darcy realized Gwen was referring to her. She smiled and gave Gwen a hug. After they embrace, Gwen prepares to leave for home.

"Oh, Gwen? Come visit for St. Patrick's Day! Bring yer family and friends! We be havin' a celebration at the tavern!" Darcy said.

"We'll just have to take you up on that!" Gwen called.

They all wave goodbye and Gwen teleports herself and the cups back to the cottage.

On St. Patrick's Day, Gwen brings her families to the Shamrock Tavern for a party with Darcy and Brian. They enjoy drinks together, dine on corn beef and cabbage, potatoes, vegetables and other delicious food.

After eating apple cake for dessert, Brian joined with a band playing his fiddle and everyone started dancing. Gwen and Darcy both danced together until Clarence joined in playing his ukulele. Everyone applauds at Brian and the band, and they all took their bows.

"Wow, your granddad is wonderful." Gwen complimented.

"Thank ye Gwen. He played with the band for so many years." Darcy said.

"So, how's the magic fiddle practice coming?" Gwen asked.

"It be goin' great! I helped the farmers get the water they needed for their crops when there was no rain." Darcy answered.

"That's great! Keep up the good work, practice and remember, don't let anyone see you and the violin like we discussed." Gwen reminded her.

"I will Gwen! I owe ye everything. Ye saved me, ye saved me granddad and me village." Darcy said.

Gwen smiled, feeling proud of herself for paying it forward.

"Now, what do ye say we dance?" Darcy asked as she held up her violin.

"Alright." Gwen agreed.

Darcy started playing the violin and Gwen started dancing. Brian and his band joined in and played along with Darcy. Ms. Chalice started dancing, charming everyone along with Cuphead and Mugman. Clarence got his ukulele and played and danced with Gwen. Everyone else clapped to the music and danced until the party was over.

After handling the cleanup, Gwen hugged Darcy goodbye and returned home. After a few days, she returned to Ireland and brought Cala Maria home from her vacation. Gwen felt proud for helping Darcy with her magic and even rewarded her with a magical object of her own to use for good for her village like she does for the Inkwell Isles.
