A/N: Hello and welcome back to another chapter in this story.

This chapter is as long as the last one, maybe that becomes the new norm?

Also, once again, HowInMadeHowie helped me adding some more details and corrected some mistakes i made or did not describe it well enough.

Now, off with you and have fun reading this chapter. Until next time

Looking at the map on his desk, Dumbledore wondered how such an item could exist without him noticing it inside the school. He had the control over the wards after all, but he agreed with John's first assessment that the map was very likely bound to the wards of the school. It was so integrated that it was almost a piece of art.

Looking back up, he addressed the two people in his office. The aged headmaster tried to make light of a tense room as the two men before him waited for his response. "Well, this explains many things. I had wondered every time when I heard the rumor that there were more ghosts around in the castle; how they came to be and why the other ghosts did not know about them. But seeing Peter inside Gryffindor tower, right next to Ron Weasley without anyone noticing him is rather disturbing to be honest. Because of all the evidence we have now that the rat is indeed Peter; it is safe to assume that he was also a rat in the home of the Weasley family.

Callie projected her holographic image to stand next to Harry with her arms crossed over her chest with frown and huff. "This is not funny, Headmaster! I should have seen this sooner. I mean the rat showed no displays of magic and I know rats, even a common brown rat, do not live for more than three years even in captivity. Even when Harry's medallion keeps going off near the rat we should have noticed this earlier!"

Dumbledore held up his hands to calm Callie down. "I am not blaming you or Cortana or any other AI for not noticing this. Yes, the fact that Harry's medallion goes off near the rat is a key point that worries me, but neither you or Harry have the years of experience that Geralt or any of his brethren have in deciphering the meaning of why it goes off. But let us get to the present shall we? For one thing I'm left to ask myself; why did he fake his own death and why did he hide himself for such a long time?"

Dumbledore stroked his beard in thought as he tried to consider the short and long term implications of acting too soon. To show the AIs that Dumbledore was taking this situation seriously he addressed John professionally. "Chief, I hope I do not ask too much of you to wait to capture Peter until we have more information. If it was really Peter who spied on us during the last war, I want to have every bit of evidence to be submitted to Madam Bones, so when we capture him he can be prosecuted immediately. And thanks to this map, we know at least where he is."

Dumbledore gave the map back to John, who promptly folded it and placed it in a compartment in his armor. John just nodded and turned around. But before he left the office together with Harry, who had stood silently the whole time since they were in there, John looked over his shoulder towards Dumbledore. "Just a question headmaster. When Pettigrew makes a move towards Harry or any other students with the intent to hurt them after we expose him and try to apprehend him, are Harry and I authorized to use lethal force to stop him?"

Dumbledore folded his hands on his desk, as he lowered his head. "Only if there is no other way Master Chief. And I am sure that Harry can protect himself if he needs to." Turning his head towards Harry, he addressed the Witcher. "Can I ask you to play the role that you do not know that Pettigrew is still alive? He cannot suspect you of knowing his secret, if we want to know why he is inside the school."

Harry nodded, as Callie had told them that she and Cortana asked the other AIs to watch the rat for strange behavior. "Do not worry Headmaster, we have it under control. Hermione's cat will see that Ron will keep his rat inside the dorm or close to him. Now if that is all, I still have some homework to do." Nodding towards the headmaster, he followed John out the office.

As the two walked through the castle, they talked with their AI, in Harry's case through his thoughts, as John was in his armor and just turned off the external speakers in his helmet. As every student knew that Harry knew the Chief, they heeded him no mind walking beside the armored man.

"When do we ask Lupin if he knew Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew? As far we know, he was in the same year as them here in Hogwarts. Now that I think about it, he also may have known my parents." Suddenly stopping, Harry turned around and apologized to John, but he needed to talk with Lupin for a bit. And as the full moon was a few days back, Lupin should not be so weak from his transformation to a werewolf that he could not talk with him.

Soon, Harry found himself in front of the Defense Against the Dark Arts's classroom, as he knew that the office was right beside it; he walked further down the hall to the next door. When he knocked at the correct door, he was a bit surprised when Triss opened the door. "Hello Triss, do you know if Professor Lupin is able to speak with me?"

Triss stepped aside, revealing Lupin sitting by his desk and looking at the door. He smiled as he stood up from his chair. "Ah, I see that the rumors are true. You really do know Ms. Merigold personally. So, Harry, how can I help you? If it is about the assignment I gave you for your homework, I am afraid that I cannot answer you just yet."

Harry shook his head, signaling that it was a different matter as he walked into the office and Triss closed the door behind him. "No, Professor, I already finished my homework for your class. I wanted to ask you about what had happened on the Hogwarts Express, I remember seeing a bright light, and the Dementors retreating from it. And as you were also on the train last September, I presume it was a spell from you. And as I seem to be a target of the Dementors, I would like to learn that spell you had used, so I can protect myself and my friends better."

Lupin crossed his arms over his chest, one hand stroking his chin. "Well, it would surely help you to be safe from one or two Dementors for the beginning, but the 20 that chased you in your last Quidditch match is a different matter. By the way, I heard what happened to your broom. It really cannot be repaired?" When Harry shook his head, Lupin continued. "As for the spell to ward off a Dementor, it's called the Patronus charm and it would be for the best if we could test it on the real deal, but I highly advise against it. But to be honest, I cannot think of anything even comparable."

Harry then had an idea, something that had nagged him for some time. "Professor, if you do not mind me asking, what about a Boggart? The last time we had confronted one was in our first class this year, you had stopped the class before it was my turn due to the time. If I recall correctly, a Boggart becomes one's greatest fear. But according to my research, it is possible that you can control what it would become by thinking about it. So, what if I think about a Dementor and instead of the Riddikulus charm I would try the Patronus charm?"

Lupin blinked in surprise; this was something he had not taught the class he had shown the Boggart. It had to be in a book where Harry had grown up, Lupin would ask Triss later from where Harry could have got this information. "That would be a possibility, but we need to find another Boggart first and try your approach. Because if it does not work, we need to find another way for you to cast the charm. So, until then, I would like for you to wait until I call you for that lesson. I think we need multiple, as this charm is so far advanced that even some adults have issues casting it." Lupin patiently explained, hoping Harry was not as impatient as his father.

Harry nodded and thanked Lupin for that opportunity and then left the office.

Lupin turned towards Triss with a curious look on his face. ",Triss, please be honest with me. You already know that I am a werewolf, and as such my sense of smell is better than most other people. I kept it to myself since I know you, but I smell the mutation that a Witcher would have used in the ritual to become one on you, as well on John. But just now, Harry almost reeked of it, and as you know each other, I surmise that you live together with the Witcher that works sometimes for the Ministry. Now for my question, is Harry also a Witcher and does he suspect me to be a werewolf?"

Triss had to smile; this man was far more perceptive than she would have guessed from her previous experience with the wizards in this country. She reasoned with herself that Lupin had to be much more pragmatic with his worldview due to his affliction.

"Well, I'm surprised it took you this long as I had thought Remus. Yes, we live in Kear Morhen, a place I'm sure you have heard of. But as for Harry, you must ask him yourself, it is not my place to tell you his status. If he wants to tell you, it is because he will trust you with the truth far enough that you will keep that secret until he reveals it himself to others. And believe me, as soon Harry tells you on his own terms, I knew that you are worthy of the gift my friends want to give to you."

In the Ministry, Fudge was once again putting out the fires that had been lit by the Dementors. He just had successfully put everyone in this country at ease after the incident on the Hogwarts Express and was sure that it would be over now. When he finally relaxed in his office, another letter landed on his desk, with the sender being none other than Dumbledore. When Fudge opened the letter and read it, he was once again becoming pale before noticing that there were more letters piling on his desk.

With trembling fingers, he opened the next letter, sent from Lord Lord Greengrass and the letter had the Hogwarts Board of Governors seal.

"Minister Fudge, as the head of the school Governors, I was informed by Headmaster Dumbledore ,as well as my daughters, that Dementors invaded a Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. Because of this, a student was seen fallen off his broom towards the ground, causing the staff to think the worst at first. Luckily, the student was not hurt or kissed by the Dementors, something that should not happen at all, as he is not the intended target. But this incident once again causes us to question how good the handlers around the school are, and how they control the Dementors and how it could have happened that those creatures were not stopped from them. As such, I inform you that I want this incident to be investigated until everything is clear, or else I will speak about that in the Wizengamot, together with the notion to remove you from your post until this is resolved.

Good Day

David Greengrass

Head of the School Board of Governors"

Fudge, now dreading the other letters even more, opened one after another and all of them telling him about the same thing from parents whose children are in Hogwarts right now.

When he finally was finished with all the letters on his desk, he stood up from his chair behind the desk and walked out to talk with Mrs. Smith. Looking out the door, his eyes grew even bigger than his hat when he saw the pile of letters on her desk.

Mrs. Smith looked up from a letter she was reading when she noticed the door behind her opened. "Ah, Minister. I hope you do not mind me checking your letters before forwarding them to your desk. Just to be safe that there was nothing dangerous inside them. Until now, I only had to dispose of one letter, as it was a Howler and I think that this would be too much. Can I ask why there are so many letters again all of the sudden?" Mrs. Smith of course already knew what had happened in Hogwarts, her ONI handler warned her that some letters may have spells embedded inside them and could explode as soon they would arrive on her desk.

Fudge tried to calm down, but whatever he did was not working. He decided to not tell her what was written in those letters, but he needed to see himself what was going on. "Mrs. Smith, please cancel every appointment I have today. I must go to Hogwarts and see for myself what 's going on there." He then grabbed his bowler hat and his thick cloak before walking out the office space.

Soon, he apparated in Hogsmeade and was walking down the main road, on the lookout for the Dementors' designated handlers, who were patrolling close by. He soon found them in the Three Broomsticks, sitting at a table and eating their lunch.

Fudge then walked over to them, trying to look furious with them and slammed his hand on the table. "Care to explain to me how it was possible that Dementors once again were on Hogwarts grounds? I just had received a letter from Dumbledore and some parents who are worried sick." He stood still next to the table, with the handlers being halfway through with their lunch.

The oldest of the handlers placed his cutlery on the table and steeled his expression. "Well Minister, if you would have listened to us from the start of this assignment, you would have hired more of us to do this job to begin with. The 20 Dementors that were flying over the Quidditch pitch were looking for sustenance, as I am sure you know what that means. And having a stadium full of students cheering their favorite team on and letting their feelings go out freely," The man paused, seeing Fudge look a bit pale in realization of how unpredictable Dementors could be.

The man continued, ignoring Fudge's reaction. "I am also sure you know what kind of a target that made it for the Dementors. We tried to contain them, but I guess we were not so successful, as more than half escaped our control and tried to have a meal while we were stretched thin. So, either you hire more handlers, or just end this assignment and send the Dementors back to Azkaban. I would suggest that latter, as I am sure that the Aurors would do a better job if Black would show himself around here." The man gave Fudge a serious look wondering if he would listen to sense this time but shook his head.

With a sarcastic tone the man let slip his thoughts of Fudge's handling of the DMLE. "Oh wait, that would mean to increase their budget. That is something you were fighting against on so many occasions." The handler crossed his arms over his chest to emphasize that he would not take the fall for this.

Fudge on the other hand was fuming, as the handler blamed all of this on the Minister. But Fudge could not fire him on the spot, as this would mean that there was one less handler on the premises to watch over the Dementors. Even if the Dementors would follow his orders as the Minister, he would need the handlers to watch over them.

So, Fudge just turned around and walked out the pub, without even caring that he did not even have a drink to be well mannered inside the pub. When he left the Three Broomsticks, he wanted to just apparate away, but he still needed to see Dumbledore and speak with him to arrange better precautions for the next Quidditch match.

While he walked down the main road again, he saw a big black dog rummaging through some garbage beside the pub. Just as he wanted to vent some of his anger on the dog, the backdoor of the Three Broomsticks opened and Madam Rosmerta, the current owner of the establishment, placed a bowl full of food for the dog.

She smiled at the dog and stroked his fur on the head with her hand. "Here, eat up big guy. I really wonder who your owner is, I would like to tell them that they should give you more food." Rosemerta shook her head disapprovingly. Seeing Fudge watching them she smiled up at him, although the smile was forced. "Oh, Minister, nice of you to visit the village." The last sentence was laced with sarcasm, as she knew that he just had left her pub without ordering something at least, but she had the manners to just shrug it off for now.

As Fudge walked towards Hogwarts, he felt the unnatural coldness that was felt when Dementors were close by. But after taking off his hat and pulling out a small medallion that showed that he was the Minister, they retreated and the air became warm again after passing the boundaries of the school.

Or at least as warm as it would get by this time of year.

When he reached the entrance of the castle, he looked back towards the place where the Dementors were patrolling the boundaries and did not find any signs that they were as restless as the handlers had told him. 'I knew it, they just wanted to shift the blame to me. I will see what I can adjust in their budget, to show them that I am the wrong person to anger. Now, when I am here already, maybe Dumbledore is free right now. We must discuss how we can sharpen the security.'

As the days moved on inside the school, Harry was still looking for a new broom for himself. He had asked Oliver for one of his Quidditch magazines, as it had sometimes reported on new brooms that were for sale. He read a bit more about the Nimbus 2001, and how the manufacturer is still trying to correct all the faults in that model. So, they could not bring out a new broom this year, but even if they did, they would have been overshadowed by the Firebolt, a broom made to international standards.

According to the report, the Firebolt was so fast and nimble, that almost every professional Quidditch team switched to it. Harry was very interested in it, but when he was looking for an estimated price, he found anything of that sort. Reading a bit further, he saw why. "Every Firebolt is handcrafted, to an unprecedented precision. As a part of the service the manufacturer provides, the name of the owner will be engraved on the handle together with the serial number, providing evidence in case the broom were stolen". Well, that explains why there is no price written on those articles. If they are only made by order, it would suggest that they are very expensive. 'Callie, could you ask Doctor Halsey if she could inform Yen and ask if I could afford it with my allowance? I do not want to empty my vault in Gringotts too much. I know you could tell me that too, but I do not want to go behind everyone's back just so I can have a new racing broom.'

Callie nodded with a smile, but reminded Harry that she was not his secretary. Harry suppressed his laugh when he answered to her that she could always tell him that he should do it himself. But then again, she did the work without other complaints from her part. 'Well, if you must know, that is what we were originally created to do. But since you just told me that the next time you ask me for a favor, I will ignore you. Serves you right.'

Just before Harry could have a rebuttal, alarms were going off in their heads thanks to Callie being in the neural interface in Harry's neck.

Cortana wasted no time explaining what the alert was about. 'Callie, Harry, according to the subroutine I left watching the map, Ron Weasley is on his way towards your location while Pettigrew is still inside the dorm room. Your orders Harry, before you leave the common room when Ron asks you to spend time with him, tell him that you need something from your dorm. If he just leaves the common room to do something for himself, you are free to enter the dorm without telling him. The subroutine will tell me when you arrive, and then I will contact you again. Understood?' Cortana's voice was clear in his head, so Harry had no problems understanding his instructions. Still, it felt strange to be addressed like one of the soldiers from the base in the valley of Kear Morhen.

Ron stepped down from the staircase into the common room and looked around. He soon found Harry reading a Quidditch magazine, open to the broom section. Ron walked over to Harry after he took notice of what his friend was reading. "I see you are still looking for a new broom. To be honest with you Harry, I would have guessed that you would have already bought a Nimbus 2001, just to show Malfoy that you easily could have the same equipment then he has. What kind of broom are you looking at right now?" As Ron came closer to Harry, looking over Harry's shoulder to see that he was looking at the Firebolt.

Letting out a whistle, Ron nodded appreciably. "Well, you have a good taste. Having a Firebolt would assure you winning almost every match in Hogwarts in mere minutes. But it will be too expensive, so I would suggest either the newest Nimbus or a new Comet. Both would have a good price to performance balance, and they both would be good enough for your skill to shine."

Harry was getting a bit irritated by Ron's behavior again, but he just told himself that Ron wanted for the Gryffindor team to be the best they could be. Well, Harry was flying one of the school brooms during practice while he looked for a new broom, and he had to at least agree that he needs his own broom before the next match, and soon enough that he could get used to it. Looking back down at the magazine with the page about the Firebolt open, he really thought that he could just order one and thinking about the ramifications later.

Ron left the common room to go out to the grounds and enjoy the weather for a bit as long as it was still a bit warm. Harry took that opportunity and walked to their dorm room to see if it was really Scabbers that was alone in that room.

Callie was communicating with Cortana, to make sure that her subroutine would look at the Marauder's map to see if Pettigrew was still in the room. Harry saw Crookshanks was sitting opposite from the door to his dorm, watching it with great intensity.

"Crookshanks, I see that you are on watch, are you? You really are a smart cat." Harry petted the cat's head, who purred a bit but never left the door out of his sight. When Harry opened the door, it was empty except the furniture standing where it always stood. Harry did not need to look for long until he saw the tail of a rat under Ron's bed, telling Harry that Scabbers was under it. To make sure that it was really Scabbers, Harry crouched down to see under the bed, finding a shivering rat who had lost most of his fur and looking at him in fear.

Harry placed a small piece of cheese on the ground and then left the dorm again, Crookshanks still sitting guard. 'Callie, Cortana, please tell me that it was only me and the rat inside the room?'

Callie nodded in his glasses, while Cortana talked with him. 'Yes, according to the subroutine in the dorm it was only you and Pettigrew, as we also saw Crookshanks's name just outside the door we are safe to assume that if the name of the rat really was Scabbers, we would have seen it like that on the map. Now, retreat and wait for further orders, we will plan to apprehend Pettigrew.`

A month later, Harry was called by Lupin to his office for his private lessons. Harry evaded Oliver and Ron, who were pressuring him to get a new broom, but Harry wanted to wait just a bit longer before ordering a new one. Callie had told him that he could afford a Firebolt with his savings, but he should think hard about it as it would most likely cost every Knut in his savings to buy the Firebolt. Harry was sure that Callie was exaggerating the cost for the Firebolt a bit, as even amateur Quidditch players were willing to spend the gold to get one. He was thinking of sending the manufacturer a letter to see how much the broom would really cost.

When Harry finally arrived in front of Lupin's office, Harry knocked on it and waited until Lupin opened the door for him. "Ah, good evening Harry. Thank you for coming so timely although I do aplogize for taking so long but finding another boggart to use for this lesson was a trial. Thankfully Chief Wulf and Mr. Filch made the search easier and found one this morning. Please come in." Standing aside to let Harry in, Lupin closed the door behind the teenager and turned back to the room.

Lupin then began to explain the steps for the Patronus charm. "Let us first try to get the wording right. It is important that even the pronunciation is correct. Please repeat after me. Expecto Patronum."

Harry repeated the words like he was told, and a few minutes later Lupin was satisfied with the pronunciation. "Now, as for the next step, you need a happy memory before you cast the charm. It must be a powerful memory, so one like you receiving a high mark in a test will not work. So now I want you to search your memories and pick one where you were truly happy. And a small hint from me, the best memories are those where you felt loved. If it works, the Patronus would work like a shield, so the it negates the Dementor's effect on you and others. you. Take your time, you can tell me when you have found a memory. We then will try the charm before I release the Boggart." Behind Lupin, a chest was shaking in anticipation.

Harry closed his eyes and concentrated on his memories. He was spoiled for choices, when he thought about all the times he laughed with Geralt about some stupid joke, Yen treating him like a son when he was sick together with Doctor Halsey being like a grandmother to him. Not that he ever would tell her that of course. Or when Ciri played with him when he was an toddler, while Triss watched over them both. Or how John together with the other soldiers showed him to shoot with his pistol. And then there were Hermione and Daphne, walking by his side last summer together with Susan beside the lake, and then he felt it. The power that memory held ready for him.

Lupin only saw Harry lifting his wand, pointing it to an empty space in the office and spoke the incantation. "Expecto Patronum" As soon as those words had left Harry's mouth, a bright light erupted from the tip of his wand, first it was just a small ball. But just as Lupin wanted to praise Harry for that success, the ball grew bigger and even brighter, before it changed its form.

Lupin looked with a surprised look on his face as the Patronus from Harry's wand became more corporal with every moment Harry held up the charm, and when it sprouted scaly wings, Lupin let out a gasp. Before him stood, in bright light and with a watchful gaze, a dragon. But not just an ordinary dragon, he only had seen this kind of a dragon once, and that was on the family crest from the Potters. Lupin then heard some heavy breathing and looked back at Harry, who was almost on his knees.

"Harry, stop the charm. For the first time, keeping it up for so long it would take too much magic out of you. So just let it go for now and we take a small break." Lupin kneeled now beside Harry, who let his wand fall out of his hand and breathed deeply, to get as much air into his lungs as he could. But Harry soon remembered that this was the wrong way when you were exhausted, and calmed his breathing down enough so his lungs were not protesting anymore. Grabbing his wand from the floor, he sat down and breathed as calm as he could before looking at the surprised face of his Defense teacher.

Callie watched over Harry's biometrics and then looked over to Lupin. Callie offered her insight into the situation as she read the information from her sensors. "I guess that was a good first try. The professor looks like he just had seen a ghost, or something that he had never seen before. My guess is that it is not normal to get such a powerful Patronus on the first try, so we may just keep up a small ruse and have you needing a break for a bit longer Harry." Harry looked at Callie inside his glasses while his head was hanging between his knees. In her digital space, Callie smiled as she stored the memories Harry used for that spell, labeling it as "Evidence" when Harry would finally realize that he was in Love with those three girls.

"Sorry Professor, I guess I overdid it a little. But seeing the ball in front of my wand, I wanted to put as much magic as I could manage to let it stay for as long as I could. But it seems that it then changed its form. Can I ask you something? Is the form of the Patronus unique for every witch or wizard who can cast it?" Harry was slowly regaining his normal breathing, even if it took a bit longer than it usually did as he still played the small young boy who had overexerted himself.

Lupin sat down next to Harry, explaining more details about the Patronus charm. "Well, you see Harry, having a corporeal Patronus is a rarity in itself. Many who can cast a Patronus at all, only can produce something like the small shield I had mentioned before. And even more witches and wizards who try to cast that spell cannot even do that. But you, succeeding on your first try and even having enough magical power to give it a corporal form, is a miracle I never thought I would see in my lifetime. And for the answer you wanted from me, I do not know if the corporal forms are truly unique, but I never had seen two of the same Patronus since I knew the spell. For example, mine is a wolf, the one from the headmaster is a phoenix, and Professor McGonagall has a cat when she casts the spell. So, as you caught your breath, I would say we test your Patronus?" Lupin stood back up and walked over to the chest, where the Boggart still did rattle said chest.

Harry also stood back up, now wondering where Triss was in the whole endeavor. He looked at Callie in his glasses, and she explained that Triss was with John right now. "She also has the right to some free time, you know. Now concentrate, standing before a Dementor, even if it is a fake one, will influence your casting. So, let's see if we can repeat that earlier success. Here is the memory you used before." Callie pushed the memory through their connection and Harry saw the same thing that he had seen before. He would ask Callie later why there was more focus on Hermione and Daphne, but for now he had a spell to cast.

Lupin opened the chest and Harry thought about the coldness that was felt when a Dementor was close by. Fearing that it would hurt his friends if he did not stop it, he saw the Dementor in his mind as clear as he had seen them in the last match.

Harry then felt the coldness for real and looked at the open chest and saw a hooded figure floated up from it. Its rasping breath being heard by the two occupants of the room, and with Lupin holding his wand at the ready in case Harry falled to the, while muted, frightening presence of this Dementor, Harry lifted his wand and pointed it towards the Boggart-Dementor. "Expecto Patronum"

Harry's voice was clear and strong, as if one Dementor would never be enough anymore to make him quiver in fear. Harry's eyes almost shone in their own light when the Patronus erupted from his wand, the dragon flapping its wings and grabbing the Boggart-Dementor with his maw.

The Boggart-Dementor was wailing, trying to get out of the jaws it was trapped in. But seeing that there was no way for it to escape, it turned to mist and returned to the chest, closing the lid on itself. The room became instantly warm again, and the candles that were extinguished when the Boggart had left the chest, flickered back on.

Lupin watched how Harry's Patronus did bite the Dementor-Boggart, as it turned to another form to escape back into the chest, when the door to the room opened and Triss, John and the headmaster entered the office. Dumbledore looked at Harry, a curious look on his face. "Harry, my boy, I see that you seem to be the source of the magical disturbance the wards had told me about. So Harry, this is your Patronus? Magnificent."

Harry, who had turned around to see who had entered the office, looked back at the patronus which has sunk to the ground and was looking around for any danger. "Well, yes, it is mine. I asked Professor Lupin for some private lessons to fend off a Dementor in case they would come again in the next Quidditch match. Just wanted to make sure that there are more people able to protect the others you know. Professor Lupin also had told me that if I would succeed with that kind of lesson, he would try to show it to the other students who are able to cast that charm, so the staff would not have so much strain the next time the Dementors decide to come over the grounds." The last part was a half lie, Lupin had not said that. But Harry was afraid that it would be like favoritism to the Headmaster if it would be only him who would learn that charm.

Lupin, catching up on what Harry tried to accomplish, nodded and stepped up next to Harry, the light of the Dragon patronus shining still brightly inside the office. "Yes Headmaster, I wanted to see if Harry would be able to pull that charm off, so he could protect himself in an emergency in his next match. As even on the train, some Dementors seemed to be after Harry in particular, so I felt like it was my duty to teach him the charm. And seeing that Harry was so successful even on his first try, I would say that Triss and I would ask the students from the third year and up if they would volunteer to learn the charm If they do, I would like to ask to have a special room for those lessons, as we would need more Boggarts to let them turn into Dementors." As Lupin explained his idea, the chest behind him did shake again.

Dumbledore smiled, thanks to Cortana he knew that Harry only had tried to save Lupin from false accusations of favoritism, but he agreed with his Defense teacher. "Ah yes, that would work wonderfully. To be honest with you all, just last month the Minister came by to my office and we discussed how we could protect the students better the next time those foul creatures go rogue again. Having more students be able to cast a Patronus, even if it is only a small shield, would ease the strain on the staff in case the Dementors would attack again. I will discuss it with the board of Governors, and if they agree I will look for a room a bit off the normal way, but I would suggest that we use some other ways to simulate a Dementor, as a Boggart is not a reliable way. Maybe Mr. Wulf's friends have a way. I will ask them after the meeting with the Board." Whilst only Harry and Dumbledore knew the nature of John's friends Dumbledore was smart enough not to talk about it openly.

Dumbledore turned a concerned look. "Now if this is all, Harry could you please dispel your Patronus? Not that it is not beautiful to see such a magnificent example of a dragon, I am afraid that if that light were seen on the grounds through that window, some curious people could see your Patronus when they investigate it. And then they could tell some people who are better off not knowing that you could cast a corporeal Patronus. Do you agree?"

Harry nodded and let the Patronus vanish by lowering his magical output until the light had vanished. But just before the Patronus vanished for good, they heard a small gasp in the door, and when all turned around, they saw Hermione, Daphne and Susan standing in the doorway.

Hermione stormed into the office, grabbing Harry by his sleeve and asked what spell that was and if she could learn it too. Harry's smile only grew, when he turned his head towards Lupin and said that they may have the first volunteer to learn that spell.
