A bright yellow light shone throughout the entirety of the Council Building, shaking it vigorously as a result. The symbol of Fairy Tail appeared just atop the building, shining brighter than ever before.
"G-Gah!?" Natsu staggered around, his motion sickness coming into effect from the result of the Fairy Law casted by Makarov somewhere within the tower. "Ugh!" Natsu fell to the ground, groaning. "W-What is that…? Gonna hurl…!" The trembling slowly came to a stop, and Natsu made his way to his feet. "Gah…"
"Geez…" Yumia shook her head, groaning a little bit. "What the hell was that…?"
"I don't know…" Yukia replied. "It must've been powerful…who DIDN'T feel that…?"
"OI!" Natsu shouted over to the twin bounty hunters. "What the hell are you two doing here?!"
"…Have we met?" Yumia raised a brow.
"I think this is that Natsu Dragneel character…" Yukia replied.
"Lucy, Sting, and Rogue told me about you two!" Natsu shouted before giving a slight smirk. "Sting and Rogue really handed it to you two, didn't they?"
"PFFT!" Yukia scoffed, waving a dismissive hand after. "We totally could've beaten them, but it was just in our best interest to take the loss."
"Mhm, suuuure…" Natsu said with a smug grin.
"You wanna tussle you pink haired-" Yukia started, but she was held back by her sister.
"Calm!" Yumia ordered. "Don't try arguing with him! It's like talking to a brick wall…"
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Natsu roared, getting up into Yumia's face.
"…He doesn't even understand the metaphor…maybe he IS a brick wall…" Yumia sighed, shoving Natsu away. "Ew…I think you have bigger things to worry about aside from us."
"Nani…?" Natsu blinked, raising a brow. "What are you talkin' about?"
"You'll find out…" Yukia said while turning around with her sister, giving a slight smirk to Natsu. "Just use your "brain", unless the capacity in there is "zero", then you're screwed." And of course, the cryptic message flew right over Natsu's head.
"Uh…" Natsu just shook his head, following a direction where he smelt a particular scent. "…."

The brilliant shine of Fairy Law nearly blinded all those present. Makarov was enacting judgment on the demon that dared to bring harm to his family. He held absolutely nothing back. The light slowly faded, and Daityas was on the ground. eyes pure white. For a moment, everyone remained stunned in silence. Daityas was moving at all, but this was the first time anyone saw this monster go down. They were curious, tense, and afraid. They didn't know if this had truly done it. A few moments passed and Daityas' pupils returned and he practically shot up, panting heavily from all the damage he took. He...was knocked out...!? Him!? The King of Hell!?
"Master's strongest spell…" Wendy said with widened eyes.
"He got back up...!" Cynthia continued.
"Yeah, but..." Gray had never seen Daityas unconscious before, from anything...
Makarov kept his glare towards Daityas, who didn't move after the attack. "…"
An eerie silence filled the hallway. What felt like everlasting minutes was only a few seconds in real time. Daityas pushed off the ground with his left foot, completely burning away at the ground as he charged Makarov, hell fire surrounding his fist. "I'll make you pay for that, Dreyar!" Daityas was too fast for Makarov to stop, resulting in the Fairy Tail master to receive a fist full of Hell Flames.
"Gah!" Makarov grunted, sliding back across the ruined floor until he was standing before the three downed Fairies. "Powerful…" He admitted, wincing from the burn mark on his cheek.
"L-Look out…!" Cynthia warned.
Daityas puffed his cheeks out, gathering another mass of Hell Flames within his mouth, unleashing yet another Hell Fire Demon's Screech, this time with the intend of burning Makarov and his children to cinder. "Burn!"
Makarov quickly swiped his hand, creating four seals of light magic. One before him, and the others to shield Cynthia, Gray, and Wendy respectively. The Hell Fire Demon's Screech slammed against the shield of light, but it was unable to break it because Makarov was no slouch when it came to combat either. He had the title of Wizard Saint for a reason. After the attack dispersed, Makarov went on the offensive once again, creating another magic seal before him. "Rain of Light!" He exclaimed, unleashing multiple beams of light magic towards Daityas.
"Tch…" Daityas was getting annoyed now. He brought his arm up, taking the full force of the Rain of Light Makarov fired off. He began to slide back a few feet, a cloud of smoke appearing around his person. All went silent as Daityas was hidden from sight. But he wasn't able to hide for long, for Makarov sensed him, and a titan fist slammed into Daityas, body, crushing him into a wall as a result.
"…Did he get him…?" Cynthia asked while staring into the smoke.
"Hm…" Makarov took a single step forward, staring into the smoke.
"It's over…?" Gray asked.
Suddenly, a blue flame appeared behind Makarov. Before anyone could react, Daityas slammed a regular fist into Makarov's back, the impact so powerful Makarov rolled across the floor, stopping on his stomach. "MASTER!" The three fairies cried out in unison.
"I can see why you're titled Wizard Saint…" Daityas said while walking over to Makarov placing his boot on the old man's head. "But even you should know that you cannot defeat the King of Hell…not like that." He said this, but he was panting heavily, scowling. "You damned humans...you think you're a little nice with magic and that you can do whatever you want...!"
"N-No…!" Cynthia forced herself up despite the fact her body could barely move. She took a step forward, only to fall. If she was in better condition, then just maybe. "S-Stop it!"
"That's enough…" A voice said, causing Daityas to turn around. Trinity walked forward, arms crossed.
"Oh…look who it is…" Daityas chuckled a bit, removing his foot from Makarov's head, turning his body to face Trinity. "Trinity…"
"Isn't that the guy from Black Phoenix…?" Cynthia asked.
"What's he doing here…?" Wendy continued Cynthia's question.
"And why do those two speak in such a familiar tone…" Gray inquired as well.
"I can see you haven't changed a bit, brother," Trinity said with a stern expression.
"Brother?!" Cynthia and Wendy shouted in unison, the apparent news coming as a shock.
"No way!" Gray exclaimed.
"What have I done to deserve your presence, brother?" Daityas asked, crossing his arms.
"Leave these humans out…" Trinity demanded. "They've no business with you."
"But they seem to want to stick their nose in my business for something that happened months ago. I'm a "nice" guy, and I offered them the chance to escape. They didn't, so they left me no choice." Daityas replied. "Besides, you should know better than to order me around."
"There's no point in this anymore right now, is there?" Trinity questioned. "All of your members have returned to their home, I can sense it. Besides...you haven't noticed it yet, but you've already lost. Nearly twice now."
"What?" Daityas narrowed his eyes. He glanced up as her Trinity's notion, only to see a number of beams of light suspended above him. This made his eyes grow wide, and he glared at Makarov. At any moment, the old man was prepared to pull the trigger.
"You've been bested, brother. I believe it's time you admit defeat gracefully." Trinity spoke with his arms crossed. "If you don't, you'll leave me no choice but to finish you off myself. But you wouldn't take that risk in your condition, would you? It's been a long time since I've seen you huff and puff so desperately."
"..." His fury was burning deeply within, but... "Is that so?" Daityas gave a shrug, attempting to appear indifferent. "Heh, fine…I'll let them go this time, but if something like this happens again, I'll be sure to finish them off once and for all." With that, a blue flame appeared around Daityas, and he vanished. Once he was gone, Wendy quickly got to work on healing everyone else.

Lahar and Bright secured the entrance. It seemed to be completely clear, and when they looked outside, the flame wall was gone. "Excellent!" Bright exclaimed, giving a chuckle. "It seems our justice has prevailed after all! The enemy has fled, and we have subdued those who remain in here!"
"I don't remember you doing much of anything…" Lahar said while giving Bright the side eye.
"I gave the people hope for justice!" Bright replied.
"Right…" Lahar sighed before activating a communications lacrima, contacting Siegrain. "Siegrain, sir. It appears as though the entrance is cleared. How are things with the escapees?"
"Excellent. I'll be sure to let everyone know where to go in a moment." Siegrain replied with a slight nod. "As for the escapees…Doranbolt and Odin have recaptured some of the escaped Silent Sanctum members, Racer, Hoteye, and it seems Angel, but she has no recollection of anything past a certain point. We cannot seem to find Cobra, Midnight, or Brain…"
"So they're still at large…" Lahar sighed, but nodded. "I don't think they'll be around here anymore, but we'll have to search for them later. For now, we can finally get the civilians and wizards out of here…"
.
.
A short while later, Lahar and Doranbolt evacuated all of the citizens from the Council building, finally allowing them to go home. Meanwhile, almost all of the wizards gathered at the entrance, waiting for everyone they knew to show up save and sound before leaving. "That's all the people…" Lahar nodded. "Excellent work, everyone…"
"I guess we didn't need their help after all…" Doranbolt replied. "Though it was strange that the commination lacrima we had for them wasn't working…"
"But we pulled it off in the end!" Bright exclaimed.
"What exactly did you do again, Full Bright?" Odin asked while raising a brow.
"…Kept the people's faith in our justice high and strong!" Bright replied.
"I don't remember you doing that either…" Cana said with a sneer towards Bright.
"I can still get you arrested for public intoxication, you know!" Bright replied to Cana with a wide grin.
"I'd like to see you try!" Cana replied, certainly challenging Bright and the little authority he did have.
"I think that's enough of that…" Mirajane said with her sweet smile, tugging Cana away from Bright.
"You're lucky she was there to save you!" Bright shouted towards Cana, who just poked her tongue out at him in response. "GAH!"
"Some of these guards, I tell you…" Sting rubbed his head while giving a slight chuckle.
"Almost everyone's here…" Juvia said while looking around, clinging to an injured Gray unnecessarily while doing so, hearts flowing from her body in a comical fashion.
"Who's missing…?" Luke asked while looking around.
"I don't see Ace…" Juvia replied. "Or Natsu-san…or Erza. I'm really worried about her wellbeing…"
"Siegrain said he would take care of her himself," Lahar nodded before pausing. "I haven't seen Layanna or Correll either…"
"Kairi's missing too…" Reve added on. Seconds after he said that, Layanna appeared with Kairi cuffed behind her. The requip mage dragged the angelic mage across the floor before coming to a halt. "And what exactly are you doing?" Reve asked while raising a brow.
"This girl's a murderer." Layanna replied.
"What!?" The members of White Eclipse shouted in unison.
"Kairi? A murderer?" Reve scoffed at the very idea. "I think you took a hard hit to the head or something. Kairi wouldn't kill a fly…unless it landed on her Wheat Thins. Then I could see a problem."
"Don't you see?" Layanna pointed to the blood on Kairi's hands. "It's not her own, clearly…Also, has anyone seen Correll lately?"
"I've not seen the captain since the event at the ball!" Bright reported. "Of course, anything that may have happened to him would be my responsibility…"
While this situation went on, both Leon and Takeru sensed something from far away. "that's strange…" Leon said before following his senses, darting off in a direction.
"Leon, wait!" Aira pleaded. "Where are you going…?!"
"…You stay here with the others," Takeru said to Selene while passing her over to Aira. "Something's not quite right…" Takeru nodded and ran off.
"Tak, wait…!" Selene tried to object, but her injuries prevented her from doing too much.
"Where are they going…?" Hikaru asked with a brow raised.

Council HQ: Center room
Natsu swung a hard hook towards Zero's cheek, but the mastermind dodged this easily, following up with a hard kick to Natsu's face. Natsu let out a grunt of pain while he flew across the room, catching himself with a flip. "Tch!"
"I never thought this day would come…" Zero said with a malicious grin towards Natsu. "The day I get to exact my revenge on you for ruining my plans all those years ago…"
"I beat you once before, and I'll be sure to do it again!" Natsu roared, charging Zero with a flaming fist. "Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu exclaimed, swinging another powerful fist towards Zero's jaw, but Zero countered with a swift knee to Natsu's stomach, causing his eyes to widen. Zero then followed up with a harsh uppercut, sending Natsu flying back until he hit the ground. "Gah…"
"Pathetic…" Zero said with a chuckle as he began to walk towards Natsu, arms folded behind his back. "Not much without your Dragon Force to combat me, are you?"
"Shadow Dragon's Roar!"
"Hm…?" Zero turned, jumping out the way just in the nick of time. He avoided a large roar of shadows coming from Takeru. "What's this?"
Leon and Takeru ran beside Natsu, allowing the Salamander to stand up. "What are you two doin' here? I can handle him!"
"Looked like he was handling you pretty well…" Takeru replied.
"Everyone's safe," Leon told Natsu. "They're all waiting at the entrance for you to come back, along with Ace and Erza."
"Oh?" Natsu grinned at the news, now turning towards Zero. "Great! Now I don't have to worry about anything!"
"The cavalry…?" Zero shook his head. "Very well, you can all meet your doom…"
"Enough talk!" Natsu shouted, running towards Zero once again with the intent of using a Sword Horn. His advance was halted by a Dark Rondo coming from the side. Natsu jumped back, watching as the Dark Rondo impacted the wall on the other side of the room. "What the?!"
"Looks like we have a guest…" Takeru said while turning his eyes to the source of the Dark Rondo. An injured Midnight stood at the room's alternate entrance, a grin on his face.
"Did you really think that attack back there was the end of me, Natsu Dragneel…?" Midnight asked. "And you've got friends this time? How lovely…My father and I working as one will be able to put you three into an eternal slumber…"
"I won't let you lay a hand on them…" Leon told Midnight, a green aura suddenly bursting from around his body, melting the floor around his feet. "Acid Drive…"
"Guess it won't hurt to take these two down before calling it a night…I've been feeling a little left out with everyone having fights and me not…" Takeru said with a grin, a shadowy aura appearing around his body. "Shadow Drive…"
Natsu merely pounded his fist together, flames flaring as he gave an excited grin. "Heh, you two ready, then?! Let's go!"
