*Inside A Mini Singularity, The Land Of Shadows*
What was supposed to be a quiet and peaceful day quickly changed for both Sonic and Cu Chulainn, and there were told to head their way into the Simulation room where Scathach was waiting for them. Confused by this news, the two enter the Simulation Room and are greeted at the Land Of Shadows Castle, where they notice Scathach in a Purple Bunny suit waiting for them.
"Welcome, warriors. Welcome to your end." Scathach said
"*Tapping His Feet* What am I even doing here? I just minded my business, talking with Mash until Scathach suddenly brought me into the simulation room without explaining her mockup kingdom. I know she's the Queen of this "Land of Shadows," forcing me to be here. That isn't my thing." Sonic said
"That isn't even the worse thing she can do. It would help if you were happy that you have no connection with her and come from a different world. The amount of shit I had to go through to get here was embarrassing!" Cu Chulainn replied
"Quiet you! Welcome to the Land of Shadows, my student and Master! I brought you two here because I wanted to test the skills between a Servant and a being who had fought many monsters before! Although all three of us can protect ourselves in battle. All of us are far from reaching our potential!" Scathach said
"Is this why all of this is happening right now? You wanted to see who's the strongest between a Servant and me? Look, Scat, you may be a Mentor to all thChulainnsinn's in Chaldea, but I'm a Mobian who can take care of himself. We are just as different as Servants and humans. We fight for a good cause, like saving the world from our sworn enemies." Sonic said
"I think this is her way of saying, "I want to see Sonic's way of combat. I want to know the secrets of his speed and techniques I can use for myself in battle." Cu Chulainn commented
"If you say something to me once more, you'll be fighting 20,000 Dragons for the next few hours!" Scathach said
"Hey, he's the one starting all of this! Why am I getting the blame?!" Cu Chulainn shouted
"Quiet! Here's what will happen between you two to prove the other is better. You'll be given tasks you need to complete that will test each of your skills. You will use the skills you have mastered from your past and take advantage of them to advance to the next test. There will be a few tasks that you two must complete within a two-hour limit. Complete them to reach the finish line and receive your reward. *Shows The Two A Holy Grail*" Scathach explained
"What the?! A Holy Grail?! Since when have I obtained one before?! And why wasn't I notified earlier?!" Sonic shock
"That remains a secret on how I obtained one. And also, all of this was set up when everyone was resting and deactivated Chaldea's Alter System. So almost everyone is unaware of what is happening as we speak." Scathach said
"..."
"We can shout at her later for this. For now, let's follow her orders before she kills us with her own hands violently." Cu said
"Oh, now I get it! Do you want Cu and me to race one another by using our skills to complete a task under a specific time limit? Heh, I like this already! This should be a piece of cake!" Sonic said
"Not bad, for once you're giving me the freedom to do whatever I want to complete some task. With that, this whole challenge should be in the bag for me! Be cocky all you want, Sonic, but I have everything ready to beat you in your own game. Be prepared to lose big time!" Cu Chulainn replied
"I'll love to see you try, Cu! We may be friends outside of battle. But during a competition, I take things seriously!" Sonic said
"You'll two will go separate ways, but you still need to complete your tasks. That is why I asked a few of the Servants around Chaldea to monitor you two with the progress of your objectives. They will tell me how you are doing and when you are done to advance to the Task Task." Scathach added
"And who are those people you have brought to watch over us like kids?" Cu Chulainn asks
"They are all waiting in different spots as we speak. That being said, as both your Teacher today. I expect a good performance from you two. Who will become victorious? A Hedgehog with powers from another world or a Servant stronger than a human. The race begins NOW!" Scathach said
Task: Fishing (Sonic's Side)
The race between a Servant and Mobian officially begins as Sonic and Cu go separate ways to complete the task. Sonic uses his speed to arrive quickly at a pond where the water is clear, and the sun is shining down at him. Not only that, but he also happens to notice a fishing rod on its stand on the edge of the pond as he walks toward it.
"*Walks Towards The Fishing Rod And Notices A Sign* "For Sonic, your flask Task is to catch a certain amount of fish in this pond that I set up for you. Once collecting the number of fish required, you'll be able to advance to the Task Task." So my first Task is Fishing. For a moment, I thought we were tasked to fight against a hoard of enemies at a certain time or something. Oh well, at least I'll begin warming up with a little finishing. *Grab The Finishing Rod, Ready To Start Fishing* Luckily, thanks to Big for showing me some fishing techniques back home that I can use here." Sonic said
"Oh, Master! Are you already here? I didn't see you get here much earlier. I was waiting for you to arrive, but you arrived here first." Sanzang said
"Heyy there, Sanzang. Nice to see you! Are you one of the referees that Scathach mentioned to me before?" Sonic asks
"That's right! She told a few other Servants and me to watch you complete your tasks for the next hour. She told me that I would be your referee for the fishing task. You might know it already, but your objective is to catch a good amount of the best fish you can catch." Sanzang replied
"I'm already on that! Luckily, I have my fair share of experiences when it involves Fishing. So be prepared to watch me catch me collect lucky fish!" Sonic said
"You enjoy Fishing as well, Master? Oh my, I never knew you could do something like this. That makes me more excited! I can't wait to see you do so, Sonic! Even the Buddha is excited to see your skills as well!" Sanzang said
"Watch and learn! *Sticks A Worm On The Rod Before Throwing The String Into The Water, Now Fishing* Now, this is where the fun begins!" Sonic said
"Oh my, you do know the ways of Fishing, Sonic. And here I thought you were never interested in these activities..." Sanzang commented
"What I show you guys are just the tip of the iceberg. I'm pretty good at other things that don't involve speed. Hey, wanna hear the time I tricked both Nobunaga and her brother Nobukatsu into playing a game of Rock paper scissors for several hours straight?" Sonic asks
The next several minutes were uneventful as both Sonic and Sanzang talked about their stories and experiences in Chaldea. Despite being a Master to Sanzang, he still doesn't acknowledge himself as a Master and wants to be friends with Sanzang.
"*Notices The Rod* Master! The fishing rod is moving!" Sanzang said
"*Rod Begins To Pull* Looks like we caught one! Alright, Sonic, follow what Big said to you... *Closes His Eyes, Focoucoung For A Few Moments Before Opening Them And Eyes Colored Blue* NOW! *Pulls The Fishing Rod As Something Jumps Out Of The Water And Lands Next to Both Him And Sanzang* Alright! Now that's what I call Fishing!" Sonic said
"Great work, Sonic! We finally catch your first fish- *Quickly Notices What Sonic Just Took Out* Oh... Sonic... T-That isn't a fish..." Sanzang said
"Huh? *Looks Down And Notices A Human Skull On The Ground, Eyes Widen* What the?! A Human skull?! Don't tell me there is..."
"*Appears* Oh, you found my lover John's head. I've been looking for him for quite a while. Thank you so much, Master! *Picks Up The Skull And Kisses It* His scent is still here. Oh, Master, My Master. Hear me out. As a reward for returning my lover's head to me, please come by to my room later so you can see the heads that I've collected. I even made a replica of your head with the help of Adult Da Vinci and Little Da Vinci. Thank you, Master! *Walks Away*" Salome said
"*Looking At Sanzang As Salome Walks Away* W-Was she called upon from Scathach?" Sonic questioned
"N-No... She wasn't one of the Servants she called upon here. We didn't even see her when we arrived..." Sanzang replied
"And did she say she had a replica of my soul inside her room? Man, sometimes, I question what other Servants do for a living. But do not think of someone with a replica of my head inside their room. *Sigh* I'll deal with that later; right now, I need to focus on Fishing..." Sonic commented
"How did she even lose that thing in the first place? And inside the simulation room fishing..." Sanzang asks
"Beats me... But I rather not question it. I'm not into stuff like that." Sonic replied
Ch Chulainn's Side
Like Sonic and Sanzang, Cu was at a different pond and Fishing with his referee watching him do so. Instead of Sonic, Cu could catch more fish faster than Sonic and reached the amount of fish Scathach asked for.
"*Pulls Out And Catches Another Fish* And just like that, the 4th bucket of fish has been filled." Cu Chulainn said
"Look at the amount of fish you could catch, Cu. I never realized just how skillful you were at Fishing." Boudica suprise
"What can I say? When I'm not taking down giant monsters to taking down weak Servants. I prefer a nice peaceful day fishing and trying to catch some fish as a way to spend time." Cu Chulainn replied
"Hey, maybe when all this is finished between you and Sonic. I could take these wonderful fishes and cook them for dinner." Boudica said
"Dinner?" Ch Chulainn questioned
"*Holding A Large Fish* What? What's with the weird look on your face?" Boudica replied
"Nothing personal. Don't worry. I don't question things because this was planned by that woman and her weird outfit that she has on. She's never worn something like this before being summoned by Sonic. Even he questions what she wears." Cu Chulainn commented
"Scathach is wonderful in that Purple bunny suit she's in right now. She's still as impressive as always and won't listen to anyone they have to say about her. That's why she's a great teacher." Boudica said
"Have you seen how she treats me daily? Even at the cafeteria, you see her insulting me and the other versions of me just for existing. What about the other Scathach? Well... I can't say much other than... She's Scathach-Skadi... A Queen who lives inside an icy house daily." Ch Chulainn said
"We can talk about our relationship with your Teacher. Right now, you watched the amount required to move on." Boudica said
"HAHAHA! As Sonic would say, Piece of cake! Man, it feels sweet to win over someone like Sonic already. I was getting tired of him trying to find ways to win over me." Cu Chulainn said
"Don't start celebrating right now. What if Sonic has finished his side already and is already on the Task Task," Boudica asks
"Like Sonic areas about Fishing. Trust me, for someone like him, fishing for him is something he sees as not a fun activity. He rather prefers to go fast, like running around loops or so." Cu replied
"*Starts Talking* Not bad, my student. It seems like you were applicable at something for once." Scathach talking through the walkie talkie
"Is that supposed to be a compliment?" Cu asked
"I'll let your imagination run with that. Now that you proved to yourself that you're worthy of catching things. It's time for you to hear to the Task Task. The Task Task won't be as easy right now, so be prepared to get your ass kicked." Scathach said
"You heard her, Cu. Go on and do whatever the hell you have to do next. I'll wait for you and Sonic at the end of the race. Now, if you excuse me. I'll be taking these buckets of fish with me." Boudica said
"I was wondering how you were going to use them. But you do whatever you need to do." Cu commented
*Back with Sonic*
"*Catches Another Fish And Pulls It Back To Him* Another fish collected, Sanzang! And this time, it's also a new and unique one!" Sonic said
"Nice catch, Master! Just look at these rare Fishes you managed to collect. Although they aren't many, it's still something." Sanzang said
"*Places The Fish In The Bucket And Throws The Rod Back To The Pond With A New Worm* It doesn't matter how many fishes I collect. As long as we're having fun here, it's still fishing at the end of the day. That's what my friend who does Fishing for a living back home always tells me." Sonic replied
"*Talking Through Walkie Talkie* Master, what's going on?! Cu is just finished collecting the required fish, and you haven't reached that mark yet. What's going on?! I thought you were better than this!" Scathach confused
"Hey there again, Scat! So Cu managed to beat me this time around, huh? Well, that's fine by me. He's told that he does Fishing for a living and knows what he is doing. I fish for fun and don't do it as a way of competing. Like my one friend tells me every time we fish together." Sonic replied
"But you're Sonic The Hedgehog! Aren't you known for being good at everything? Even better than the student, I trained before?" Scathach questioned
"I'm not THAT perfect, Scat. Even a Hedgehog like me has some problems like the other Servants in Chaldea. Sure, everyone portrays me as some cocky Hedgehog who only wishes to go fast and continue to the next Adventure. But I indeed do have times when I make mistakes. Even as a Master, being a Master is no easy work, despite telling you guys that I am not the one to say Commands to you while we battle. And I need to do my best to bring you all happiness! I need hundreds of Servants to stay active every day, and it's not easy. Especially the ones that take the extra mile, like Kiyohime, Raikou, Serenity, Kama, and others. But at the end of the day, I still love all of you guys. You guys are all my friends. If I weren't a Master, I wouldn't have been able to meet such great heroes from history or mythology like Gorgon, Saber, Ishtar, BB, Achilles, and don't forget our best shielder Mash Kyrielight! You guys mean the world to me!" Sonic replied
"*Sigh* Well, I can't argue with that. You are someone who believes in what is right and sticks with it. Even I agree with you as well, Master. You know what you are doing. You aren't a human after all." Scathach said
"Thanks, Scat. I knew I could trust someone like you! Now then, I'll accept my loss here and move on to the next- *His Fishing Rod Begins To Pull* Oh, another one? Well, it can't hurt to catch one more. *Begins to Pull It Back But Struggles For a Bit* Oh, so we have a fish that isn't going down without a fight, huh? *Continues To Battle With This Mysterious Thing inside The Water* This thing isn't going down without a fight!" Sonic said
"Need some help, Master? Don't worry. I'll help you!" Sanzang said
Sanzang then grabbed hold of the fishing rod along with Sonic as the two used their strength to battle the mysterious creature inside the water, who wasn't going down without a fight. The two continued to battle with this thing for several seconds while slowly being dragged into the water together. But with the help of Sanzang, the two forcefully pulled the rod as they heard a giant splash from the water and noticed something jumped out of the water and what they saw was shocking. It was the Giant Chopper enemy that Sonic had seen before.
"What the?! A Giant Chopper?! What the heck is it doing here?! Is that why I wasn't able to catch fish quicker?!" Sonic shock
"*Notices A Giant Fish* What the?! Is that a robotic fish?! I saw anything like that before! Don't tell me this came from your world, Master..." Sanzang said
"Hate to break it to you, but it did! And we have to defeat it! We don't need it here roaming here any longer than right now!" Sonic replied
"Yes, understood, Master!" Sanzang said
The two noticed the Giant Chopper was heading toward them. As they jump out of the way, the giant Chopper crashes down on the land and chews with its powerful bite. Sonic quickly dashes towards the massive Chopper, and homing attacks it several times around the Chopper's robotic parts and leaves dents around it with each homing attack. The Giant Chopper looks at Sonic and begins to chase after him as. Sonic runs away from it as fast as possible and distracts him as much as possible. Sonic continues being chased by the Giant Chopper, gaining on him until Sanzang suddenly appears in front of the Giant Chopper and smashes it with her feet, causing tons of damage to the Giant Chopper before summoning a rake and slamming it down on top of the Chopper's head before slamming onto the ground and generating tons of damage. Sanzang then stomps her feet on the ground, causing the ground to shake as the giant Chopper flies straight into the air. Sonic jumps directly at the Giant Chopper.
"Even in the simulation, you're just as weak as Egghead's other creations! *Delivers A Powerful Kick Down At The Giant Chopper, Sending it Straight Into The Water Before Exploding* That's how it's done here!" Sonic said
Moments later, the pond explodes as water flies straight into the air, causing a rain shower underneath Sanzang and Sonic. However, they soon notice tons of fish raining down around them as tons of fish begin flopping around them on the ground.
"Oh, Buddha! Look at these fishes falling around us. My people would be proud of this if they saw something like this!" Sanzang said
"Now that's what I call a fishing experience! Come on, Sanzang! Let's collect these fishes and send them back to Scathach!" Sonic replied
Next Task: Candy Crush
After completing their fishing task, Sonic and Cu headed on to their next job and soon made their way into a new location completely different from their previous one. They were now in a candy-like place with houses made from gingerbread with tons of candy surrounding them, almost like candy land with their people gingerbread-like.
"Where the heck am I now? Did I take a wrong turn for the Task Task? Why am I suddenly in Candy Land?" Sonic questioned
"*Appears* Don't worry, Master. There is no wrong direction. This is your next Task Scathach told you about." Nursery Rhyme said
"Rhyme? What are you doing here? Don't tell me that you're also helping Scathach with all of this as well." Sonic replied
"We were helping her with this at first, but we also caught ourselves in a situation, and we need your help Big Brother," Bunyan said
"I see. What kind of situation did you kids get into right now?" Sonic asks
"We were setting up a race track filled with obstacles for you to go through for your next task, and while doing so, Bunyan was cutting down trees and accidentally woke up a few giants and are now heading towards our way," Voyager explained.
"Giants, huh? Hmph, no wonder I felt a storage disturbance when I arrived here. Tell me, how long has this been happening?" Sonic said
"10 Minutes. They should be here by now, Mommy." Jack replied
Moments later, the ground began to shake violently as the people living in the area started to panic and ran inside their Ginger homes. Sonic quickly turns around and notices a group of Candy-Like Giants heading toward them and roaring at them.
"T-They're here! I'm so sorry, everyone... I didn't mean to wake them up..." Bunyan apologized.
"No need to apologize; just help me deal with these guys, and we can move on as if nothing happened," Sonic replied
"Y-You're not mad at me? But I am threatening your own life because o my mistake, Master..." Bunyan said
"It's okay, Bunyan. Master, you can't get mad because of one mistake. He also makes mistakes, which makes him so much fun to be around." Rhyme said
"We love and always will love, Mommy. No matter what!" Jack said
"Just what the girls said, Bunyan. We all make mistakes and learn from them to become stronger people. That's how life works around here. Am I right?" Sonic asks
"*Smiles* T-Thank you so much, Master! I knew meeting you was the best thing ever to happen. Now, just for you, Master. *Grows Giant, Preparing To Fight* Let's take these bad guys out!" Bunyan said
"That's what I like to hear from you, Bunyan! Now then, the rest of us, let's do this!" Sonic said
Sonic, Jack, Rhyme, Bunyan, and Voyager all began rushing towards the giant Candy Giants as Bunyan swung her big axe towards one of the Candy Giants multiple times and leaving large wounds around the Giant before Bunyan raised her feet above the Giant and slamming down on it, crushing the Giant soon after. Another Giant raises their giant Candy Cane weapon above them and slams down on Jack. Still, she quickly dashes away and suddenly appears behind the Giant and stabs both her guns into the neck of the Giant before slashing and dealing tons of damage behind the Giant. Jack then disappears soon after as Nursey Rhyme freezes the Giant's legs, forcing them not to move curls into a ball and revs up quickly before spinning, dashing, and shattering both the ice and the Giant's legs into small pieces as the body of the Giant falls onto the ground and shaking violently. Soon after, a ball of energy shaped by a planet comes gliding down and hits the Giant, exploding and taking down the Giant as candy explodes from the Giant and rains everywhere around the team.
"It's raining candy!" Jack said
"Yay! Candy!" The three other kids said
"Candies inside a giant? Hmmm... Not the strangest thing I've seen come out of a monster, but it's different. But something odd about this whole thing. Scathach has never done something like this before. Why is she making us fish and collecting candy for the kids? Am I missing something?" Sonic asks
"What's wrong, Mommy? Is everything alright? You seemed concerned." Jack asks
"Don't worry, Jack. I'm fine, just thinking about something. Plus, there are more giants we need to take care of. By the way, where are the other kids? Were they with you? *Kicks A Giant's Face And Pushes Them Away*" Sonic said
"*Slams Giant Axe Down At The Giant, Slicing It In Half As Candy Began Falling Onto The Ground* I think we split up when the giants were chasing us. Jack, Nursey Rhyme, Voyager, Chole, Illya, Miyu, Alexander, and Erice were here before they were all separated." Bunyan said
"All of the kids?! Since when did Scat need all of you guys together in something like this?! I need to talk with Scat once all this is over. No kid should not be going to places without supervision. But right now, let's finish taking down these around us! *Dashes Towards Another Giant*" Sonic replied
Cu's Side:
"*Battling Against The Candy Giants* Hey, what;'s the big deal with these guys anyway?! How did you guys even wake these guys up?! *Attacks A Giant Multiple Times As It Soon Falls* Anyone?!" Cu Chulainn said
"*Fires An Arrow At A Giant* Hey, don't look at me! It was Bunyan that started this mess! She's the one that chopped down all those trees around here and woke the giants up from their sleep. But I will admit, this isn't the first time she's done something like this to get the attention of monsters. *Jumps Directly At A Giant's Face And Attacks It With Multiple Attacks*." Chole replied
"Why are a bunch of kids helping out my Mentor in risking their own lives just for Sonic and me anyway? What did you agree upon that made you have to work here?" Cu Chulainn questioned
"That's easy to answer. Do you see the piles of Candies surrounding us? That's because we are making you two- *Mouth Covered* MMMMM?!" Illya confuse
"*Covers Illya's Mouth* Quiet, Illya! You almost just admitted the truth behind this whole thing! We can't let either Big Brother or the tight Blue clothes man here know the true intentions!" Miyu said
"True intentions of this? What the hell is happening here? What are you guys doing to Sonic and me right now?" Cu Chulainn said
"*Rushes Towards A Giant, Attacking Them With A Slash Attack And Falling Soon After* Sorry, Mr. Blue Tight, but we can't say anything to you about what's going on. We agreed with Ms. Scathach not to reveal anything to you until the end. Neither to Master!" Alexander said
"Are you kidding me?! So even she asked the kids not to say anything as well?! Does anyone have a walkie-talkie? I need to talk with the crazy lady now!"
"I have it; also, please be sure to contact Master. I want to make sure Voyager is with him right now. I'm worried about him and want to ensure he is safe. *Attacks A Giant With her Spear.*" Erice said
"*Talks through The Walkie Talkie* Hey, woman, are you out of your mind right now?! What is all of this supposed to be? Are you sure this a competition to see who is stronger?!" Cu shouted
"How dare you throw such an accusation at me. I knew I should've taught you about manners before." Scathach said
"This is serious! What are you doing right now to both Sonic and me? We wanted action and fights! Not Fishing and collecting candy!" Cu replied
"So the same thing is happening to you right now? I thought we had different tasks for each of us. I guess I was wrong in this one." Sonic said through the walkie talkie
"Master, thank goodness you're alright! Where's Voyager?! Is he alight? I can't find him anywhere, and I'm concerned that we lost him while the giants were chasing us!" Erice asks
"Don't worry, Erice. Voyager is here with me. We're busy trying to take down these giants around us, but we're almost done. I also have Jack, Rhyme, and Bunyan here, just in case you're wondering." Sonic replied
"You aren't just using as your piggies to do your work, aren't you? Cause this feels like it is..." Cu said
"Look, I understand that you are confused about what's happening right now, but as your Mentor and Servant. It's my mission to prepare you two for battles. Especially battles against Master's arch-enemy in his world." Scathach explained
"This isn't how I thought things would come this way!" Cu shouted
"We went over this already, Scat. I'm wonderful. I can take care of myself as I have always been. I mean, If I defeated countless from my and this world in the past before, including Goetia and the Demon Gods. Then I certainly can defend myself for the future as well." Sonic replied
"I'm sorry, Sonic. But I can not allow you to go further without the proper training. You are faster than anyone else in both yours and our world. And you may have unique skills that you use in battle, but they won't last forever. Eventually, the enemy will remember your pattern, and your skills will be deemed useless. That is why I must train to death until I die as well! Do you understand? That goes for you, Cu. As your Teacher, I must also continue to train you to death. Do you understand?" Scathach said
"Oh, brother. We have the Chaos Emeralds as well, don't forget about them as well..." Sonic commented.
"Now, I suggest you finish this step and head to the Task Task. Get the candy for the kids, then move on to the next. And for once, I'll be generous and remove a job between you, so that will remain just a couple before reaching the final. You only have 1 hour to come to the flask Task. Good luck, and don't give up. *Finishes Talking*" Scathach said
"HEY! I'm not done with you just yet! Don't just leave Sonic and me in the dust!" Cu shouted
"That didn't work at all. But don't worry, I'm sure you two will finish soon. *Slashes A Giant As It Vanishes Soon After*" Chole said
"Well, I guess we have no choice but to finish the missions that we have left. We are barely in our second one and need a few more. And the worse part is that she just decided to decrease the time by an hour. So we need to hurry quickly. But don't worry; I can handle the Task in under a few minutes with incredible speed. Man, even during the early stages, she goes all out. *A Gaint's Roar Can Be Heard* Look's like I need to take care of these guys before we can move on. I have to go! I'll see you at the end, Cu!" Sonic said
Sonic, Cu, and the Kids continued fighting the giants while obtaining piles of candy that appeared each time they took down a Giant. Eventually, they completed taking down the giants and quickly moved on to the Task Task under now a 1 Hour time limit.
After Finishing The First Two Tasks, The Two Continued With The Rest of Their Tasks, That Became More Questionable And Harder For Both The Hedgehog And Lancer. Their tasks consisted of Taking Down Tons Of Enemies That Sonic Fought During The Journey Through The Singularity And The Lostbelts In The Past, As Well From Taking Down Dragons, Boars, and Chickens, Planting Fruit, Vegetables, And A Ton More Questionable Tasks For Sonic And Cu. Eventually, In A Extreme Short Amount Of Time, The Two Managed To Copmplelete Each of Their Tasks And Were Able To Make It To Their Final Task, Where Scathach Was Waiting For Them The Whole Time And Standing Alone Inside A Cave.

Finally, Sonic and Cu arrived at their Last Task, where Scathach noticed that both Cu and Sonic were covered in dirt, mud, feathers, and
"Congratulations, you two. You have finally made it to your flask Task. You pushed your bodies to your limits to get to this point." Scathach said
"You are a freak! You know that! This whole thing wasn't anything near what I had in mind! We were supposed to be taking down enemies to prove our strength! Not farming and catching wild animals like cowboys and fish!" Cu shouted
"*Cleaning Himself Off* This was more doing choirs than fighting. It almost feels like Amy forced me to work alongside her again." Sonic commented
"You have a lot of explaining to do! Was all of this done so that we could do your work?! Is that why we were doing all that shit for the past Hour and Fifteen minutes?!" Cu shouted.
"Can you at least tell us, Scat? Just look at us covered in so much stuff. Is that not enough proof that we went through that for you?!" Sonic said
"Yes, you two went through a lot in the past hour. That is why I will explain this ordeal's true meaning." Scathach replied
"Well, don't just go on with a monologue! Tell us why you made us go through all of that?!" Cu shouted
"Oh, I will until you finish this task Task. *Pulls Out A Holy Grail As A Giant Dragon Appears Behind Her* Weclome you to your final Task, Master and Cu. This is where your lives end." Scathach said
Sonic and Cu were shocked to see a Dragon behind Scathach as it roared at both of them, ready to kill them without any mercy.
"*Uses Speed To Quickly Clean Himself* The Holy Grail! I knew she'll use that in the Task Task!" Sonic said
"I see... Is that why many enemies attacked us from the Task to the pre-task just now?" Cu said
"Yes, you never realized, but while you two were doing the tasks, you were told to do. You also show me that you can do more objectives without dropping them. A true hero must never stop from one mission to another. They must understand that being a hero isn't easy and can be profound in the direst situation. Like the Task with the Children, you were helping the kids by giving them candy. But you were also helping the town from being destroyed and invaded." Scathach explained
"So all this time, you were testing us on both skills in and outside battle the whole time? *Smirks* Hehe... Not bad, Scat. You got me good this time. I appreciate you giving me two tasks simultaneously in each of them." Sonic said
"*Thinking To Himself* Well... I can't stay mad at that. She has things up her sleeve without telling us." Cu commented
"You're welcome, you two. You two are just as strong as the other and can prove that you can simultaneously overcome more challenges than one. I'm proud of you two." Scathach said
"We appreciate the compliments, Scathach. But before that, we must settle on one last thing for the last Task. *Looks Behind At The Dragon As It Roars*."
"Hehe! This is a battle I have asked for since the beginning! Come on, Sonic! Let's show this beast just how strong both Hedgehog and Servant can be!" Cu said
The two fists bumped and soon charged towards the Dragon as it roared at them, breathed in, and brethren out the fire; the two quickly dodged the attack, with Sonic jumping towards the Dragon's face and hitting him with both of his feet directly his feet and knocking its head straight into the air. Cu then jumps right toward Sonic Sonic assists him in jumping higher by jumping on his hand and throwing him directly toward the Dragon and attacking it multiple times with his spear before finishing it off with a powerful strike and pushing the Dragon a couple of feet away. Sonic and Cu then landed back on the ground as they turned and quickly noticed more monsters heading their way. Sonic and Cu had a plan. Sonic made his way toward the Army of monsters while Cu rushed back to the Dragon. As the two were taking down both sides of the enemies, Sonic used his speed to take down the Army of monsters using Homing Attacks and Spin Dashes. And his boost moves too quickly, and Cu uses the Spear skills that Scathach trained him to attack the Dragon while perfectly dodging each of the Dragon's attacks as it fires, causes earthquakes, and slashes him. He desperately tries to attack Cu but keeps on missing him. Scathach watches as she smiles and summons more monsters around her Sonic and Cu smirk at her as they continue taking down the monsters and Dragon, having a blast taking down the monsters for the Task they had to go through.
For several minutes, the two continued to take down their enemies. As soon enough, Cu managed to take down the Dragon by himself, and Sonic could take down many enemies in just a short amount of time using his speed. As Scathach is just about to summon more monsters for Sonic and Cu, Sonic quickly dashes towards Scathach and takes the Holy Grail from her. They are finally Allie,d obtaining for him and Sonic as every Chaldea Servant involved in this ordeal, and the three return to Chaldea.
*Chaldea*
"*Holding The Holy Grail* And another Holy Grail was collected just like that. I'm glad it wasn't one of the Chaos Emeralds that you managed to use for that Singularity. It would've been a different story if you used that." Sonic said
"Tell me about it. That Gem of yours could be a severe pain in the ass if we had to deal with it. It's more annoying when you're up against it. But that's beside the point. I'm still wondering what the hell is up with the others behind Scathach and the stuff we've acquired for them. Just actually, what is happening?" Cu commented
"You haven't told them yet, Scathach?" Boudica asks
"I only mentioned them about the fighting part. Not the other half of this whole order. But to give you the rest of your answer, we used you two to acquire some ingredients for an upcoming potluck Chaldea announced it was having." Scathach said
"-ALL THIS TIME WE'VE BEEN USED?!" Sonic shouted
"-ALL THIS TIME WE'VE BEEN USED?!" Cu shouted
"Look at the bright you two. You brought tons of ingredients for every Servant to enjoy and refill them for future battles." David said
"Especially the amounts of them you also acquired! The Buddha will always remember you for your hard work!" Sanzang said
"And also, give us more treats for us kids to enjoy! Just look at the amount of candy you two brought for us!" Nursery Rhyme said
"We greatly appreciate you two for going out of your way to help Chaldea fill their stomachs. Now, if you excuse us, we will be on our way to begin making the food for everyone. We should be done in a few hours if we start right now." Scathach said
"Allow us to help you out! The kids!" Voyager said
"I'll get Cat and EMIYA!" Boudica said
"I'll set up the cafeteria with extra tables and chairs. Hey, kids, mind helping me as well?" David asks
"Yay!"
Soon after, Sonic and Cu watched as everyone walked passed them and exited the Command Room Sonic sighed and looked at Cu.
"This was interesting, to say the least," Sonic said
"Not the first time I've been used for something like this. I'm used to all of this by now." Cu replied
"Hey, at least the others are smiling and having fun. I'll tell you how we can go fishing together in the Simulation Room. Just you and me both fishing. How's that?" Sonic asks
"Hmmm... meh, sure, what not? Let's go!" Cu replied
