Things were tense inside Chaldea as a Servant was seething with a flame aura, watching her supposed partner do something unthinkable. So it seemed for her, but other Servants didn't mind and just let it slide. Kiyohime was hiding in secret while watching Sonic, her Master, talking to other female Servants like Bodica, Medusa, Sanzang, and Serenity. Kiyohime watches them talking with each other, sharing smiles and laughs and much more. All of this was seen by Kiyhohime, who the four didn't even notice her presence.
"*Pissed And Annoyed* Achin-sama. Why are you talking to other Female Servants besides me? I was one of the first Servants you summoned years ago! I gave you the best solution and supported a Master needed when overworking on saving Humanity! How can you betray your lover like that and not care for her emotions?! Is it because you hate it now? Hmph, I knew Sonic was lying to me this whole time!" Kiyohime said
"*Appears Behind Her, Sighing* Are you seriously stalking Sonic again, Kiyohime? Several years of being Sonic's Servant and still acting like this? I mean, I do admire your dedication to doing something like this for several years. But doesn't it get tiring at some point?" Sion questions
"How can you say something like that? I'll have you know that I'm doing this to protect the one I love the most. He needs me more than he needs anyone else. He tells me he loves me, but I suspect he's lying to me each time he says that. You know what happens when someone lies to me, right?" Kiyohime replies
"Yeah... I get that you hate lying and all that. But Sonic's not into romantic things, you know? You should know that by now. You see him running around the halls when a female Servant tries to get too close. The last time that happened, all of the Goddesses almost blew up Chaldea. Also, he has friends in his world, remember?" Sion said
"They don't count here. But besides that, They don't know what true love means. They only push him away from me cause they know I'll win his affection. It's simple like that." Kiyohime replied
"*Dumbfounded* Haha... I'm pretty sure it has to do with something other than that Kiyohime. But anyway, I'm not in the mood to talk about romance-related things. I'm not even interested in that topic. I'm the last person to talk about that stuff. I'm just taking a break from creating my next project for Sonic. I'll give you a sneak peek of what's coming up. Ever heard of an Extreme Gear from Sonic before?" Sion said
"I don't care about that right now. Excuse me, Sion, I have a business to attend to. Business only, I understand. *Walks Away*"
"*Rubbing Back* Jeez, Sonic, how can you deal with that many Servants at once? Especially those that want something extra with you. You told them, No, but they don't listen to you. Hmph... who am I kidding? At least I'm not on the receiving end of this mess. But still, I feel bad for Sonic." Sion commented
*Chaldea Kitchen, Sometime Later*
Later that day, Kiyohime is seen stalking Sonic, sitting down with his feet on the table while talking to Hassan. Kiyohime was glad that Sonic was talking with someone who wasn't a female Servant, allowing her to initiate a conversation with him.
"*Watching From Another Table* It seems that the coast seems clear. There isn't anyone around him besides Hassan. I must find the perfect opportunity to strike." Kiyohoime thought
"Contractor. Thou has eaten many of thy "Chili Dogs" in one sitting. There has seen thou neglecting his health only eating thy Chili Dogs. Does one not care for thou's health?" Hassan asks
"*Unaware Of Kiyohime's Presence, Continuing To Talk With Hassan* It's alright, Big Guy, I don't eat Chili dogs daily. I also enjoy other kinds of meals different from Chilli Dogs. I don't eat them as much as chili dogs, though." Sonic replied
"Thou is unique from others. They can only be described as a unique soul." Hassan commented
"I'm not sure if that comment is supposed to be a compliment or a light-hearted insult. Either way, chili dogs are my go-to meal. Nothing will change for that." Sonic replied
"*Roller Skates Towards Sonic's Table* Hey there, Master! Your batch of chili dogs is ready! Created by your beautiful wife! *Places The Plate Of Chili Dogs On Sonic's Table* I added more toppings as you requested! Please enjoy them as much as you want me to be your wife!" Tamamo Cat said
"Thanks, Cat! *Grabs A Chili Dog And Takes A Bite* Mmmmm! Delicious as always, Cat! I'll give this a Five Star review from Sonic himself!" Sonic replied
"I knew you were going to like them again! That's why I forced Boudica and Red Coat to make them as perfect as before, woof! And they did not disappoint based on your reaction!" Tamamo Cat said
"You three make the best food Chaldea could ever make! And still going strong years later! *Looks At Hassan* You want one? This one is on the house." Sonic replied
"This one will pass from a such meal. Perhaps, this one will watch if those cause any harm to thou." Hassan said
"Well, suit yourself! *Takes Another Bite*."
"He's distracted! Now's my chance to strike!" Kiyohime
Kiyohime gets up from her chair and walks closer to Sonic causally. As she gets closer, she notices that Sonic hasn't spotted her yet, which is perfect for this scenario. Several more steps she took as she was now behind Sonic. Kiyohime was about to talk to Sonic until suddenly, Caenis shoves Kiyohime away and gets in front of her to talk to Sonic.
"Hey, what was that for? Can't you see I was here first!" Kiyohime said
"Watch where you are going, Snake! Keep talking, and I will show you no mercy! *Looks At Sonic* Hey, Rodent, I have a request to make!" Caenis said
"*Turns Head And Notices Caenis Standing Next To Him* Caenis? Request? What is it that you need?" Sonic confuse
"I'm bored as shit, so I want you to take me to your world so I can beat the living hell out of robots from that Fat scientist you call your enemy. Waiting for the day to go to that damn last Lostbelt has finally taken a toll on me. Let's go beat the shit out of some robots!" Caenis said
"Hey, no fair! I was going to ask Master to take me to his world!" Kiyohime thought
"Well, that wasn't a request I wasn't expecting. But I can understand if it's coming from you." Sonic said
"Hey, what's the meaning of this? Who said you could take Sonic away from me?! I'll have you know that I already asked Master to take me to his world to find the best venues for my concerts. That's more important than fighting a couple of toasters for pure entertainment!" Elizabeth said
"Who would want to hear such shitty music from your stupid mouth? It's annoying as hell that every time I listen to your music. It makes me want to destroy shit!" Caenis said
"Excuse me, who asked me for your opinion? I don't remember asking someone like you to give their take on my beautiful voice. I bet. Little blue enjoys music more than crushing a bunch of robots every day. That's what I know far from you, considering I known him longer than you." Elizabeth replied
"What the hell did you say, dipshit? You did not just talk back to me! I'll crush you into tiny pieces to the point your shit voice is completely gone!" Caenis shouted
"I'll like to see you try!"
Before anything happens between Caenis and Elizabeth, Sonic quickly gets between Caenis and Elizabeth, stopping them from hurting each other.
"Okay... Let's try to calm down, you two. I'll be willing to do you two favors. I don't mind; don't try to kill each other for something petty. I can take Caenis to take down some Badnicks and help Liz look for stadiums for her concert. Although that may take a little while, I'll need some help with my friends back home." Sonic said
"*Hey, Master! What's the big hold-up? Let's get going to the simulation room and do some target practice. You said you'll be the target to see if I can land a shot on you. Don't worry. I'll be using rubber bullets. They won't kill, but they will hurt a lot, so be prepared for that." Calamity Jane said
"There's three now after Sonic?! Master, what is going on here?!" Kiyohime thought
Kiyohime then watches as a couple more female Servants surround Sonic, who is not enjoying this moment, while Hassan stares at the situation while doing nothing. Kiyohime, on the other hand, was full of rage and was ready to burn Sonic to a crisp.
"*Annoyed By The Situation* This is not how I wanted to spend my Monday evening..." Sonic thought
Kiyohime was about to do something terrible until she stopped and thought for a moment. They were thinking about what the female Servants said to Sonic. They all had something in common but with a different point in their favor.
"*Smiles* Oh, I see, so that's what's happening here. These favors the Servants are asking my husband all have something to share. I don't mind asking the same favor when everyone least expects it. A plan has now been planned. Hehehe... I can't wait to spend actual time with Master alone. *Walks Away*" Kiyohime said
*Sonic's World, Angel Island, A Week Later*
Kiyohime secretly teleported to Sonic's world with him while not telling anyone back in Chaldea that they left without any notice. Sonic was confused by the ordeal as he and Kiyohime were walking around Angel Island, scratching his head at Kiyohime's current plan.
"There we go. I think this place seems good for the two of us. What do you think, Master?" Kiyohime asks
"*Scratching Head* It's... Alright, I guess. But I'm more concerned about why you dragged me here to my world to Angel Island. What's gotten into you, Kiyohime?" Sonic confuse
"Oh, about that, I decided to sneak the two of us out here from the others who are taking my husband away from me. I couldn't sit back and let the others take you away from me. Your one and only true Servant." Kiyohime replies
"*Confuse For A Moment Until Realizing What's Going On* Wait a minute, don't tell me what I think it is..." Sonic said
"Hehehe... You're correct, Master. You could say that is our date together. Don't you think it's amazing, just the two of us spending time together?" Kiyohime asks
"Don't tell me that you decided to make that up right now..." Sonic commented
"Oh, Master, You have no idea. I have been planning for this day for an entire week. You see, whenever I see you talking with someone other than me. It breaks my heart to see me being overshadowed by someone else. So that's why I decided to take things into my hand and set up this date for the two of us. I asked Da Vinci ahead to open the portal on this specific date a few days before. And now, we are here together. So, at the end of this, this is practically your fault." Kiyohime said
"..."
"But that's okay. I will slide all of that now that we are alone together. Which is the more important thing here? So, why don't you say, shall we get started with our official date?" Kiyohime asks
"*Rubbing Back* I... I am not interested in doing something like that, Kiyohime. I am not into romantic stuff or don't care about it." Sonic replied
"I knew you'll say something like that. But to be honest, that has no meaning to me anymore. I have heard that saying for a while now, and I think it's been watered down to this point. *Grabs Sonic's Hand And Holds It*."
"What do you mean by that?" Sonic questions
"Like it or not, you'll be going on a date with me. And if you try to run away from me like those other times before, I'll have no choice but to burn you in front of you instead of taking away your Command Seal. And no, I won't go easy on you this time. So please, do as I say, and you won't get yourself killed." Kiyohime said
"*Facepalms* The things I get myself into. *Sighs* Let's hope Amy doesn't find this out, or else my life is truly over..." Sonic commented
"Hehehe! I knew you'd come to your sense eventually. Now, come on. Let our date begin!" Kiyohime said
After everything settled between the two, Sonic and Kiyohime began their "date" together as they enjoyed a picnic, eating desserts that Kiyohime took from Chaldea over to Sonic's world while asking Sonic to feed her with the desserts. Despite not showing any interest in the date but still reluctant, he tried to make things enjoyable for Kiyohime, who was obliviously having a better time than him. As time passes, the two continue activities that a causal date would usually go by. And Sonic slowly loses himself as time goes by as well. As he focuses more on Kiyohime's enjoyment and not on himself from before. Kiyohime asks him many questions about Sonic's own life and would usually answer honestly, and he isn't afraid to tackle things about himself. Despite knowing the consequences if he lies one bit to Kiyohime.
*Later*
"Isn't this fun, Master? Just the two of us spending time in the middle of these beautiful islands with adorable animals living on this Island. By far the most beautiful place I ever had the pleasure to visit." Kiyohime said
"It's beautiful, alright. But it has known about this place since being a kid. You learn more that there's more than meets the eye. I can take you to different places around this Island if that's what you want." Sonic asks
"Maybe some other time, Master. Right now, I want to spend time with you and experience the things you do here that are different from Chaldea. Everything seems more colorful and peaceful here." Kiyohime replied
"That's not the first time I heard of that statement before. The other Servants have said the same thing to me when they visit here." Sonic said
"I sure do believe that's the case here. I have heard rumors of your world before, so this was also my way to see if the rumors of your world were true." Kiyohime replied
"What you see around Kiyohime is the answer here. Sure we may have Egghead trying to cause mayhem here and there. But we usually deal with him quicker, thanks to you guys." Sonic said
"You mean your archnemesis? I heard he's done terrible things to you in the past, making me want to visit him and deal with him. I want to teach him what happens when he hurts my husband!" Kiyohime threatened
"You don't have to worry. Last time we took care of him. Tiamat gave him a good beating. Something I have never seen her do before. It wasn't even close when Mash and I faced her in the Babylonia Singularity." Sonic commented
"She's a wonderful being to all of us. Who could've thought you could tame a Beast with no effort? But that's a discussion for a different time." Kiyohime replied
"Holding a grudge isn't my type of thing, Kiyohime. Sure we may have fought before, but that's in the past. Now, the present matters, and now she's an essential part of Chaldea and our good friend. Expect to Teach sometimes. I always have a chuckle seeing Teach up against Tiamat." Sonic commented
"I see... *Silent For A Second* Master, can I ask you something?" Kiyohime asks
"Hmmm? What is it, Kiyohime?" Sonic replied
"I'm just going to say this out loud and get it over with. Do you think I'm not perfect as the other female Servants? Perfect enough to get your attention?" Kiyohime asks
"Huh? What are you talking about? Of course, you're perfect the way you are, Kiyohime. How can you say something like that to yourself?" Sonic questions
"*Sigh* Don't get the wrong idea, Master. Every time I see you talking to more female Servants. I always have the feeling that you're distancing yourself away from me. Not only that, but you never even acknowledge me in any way when you are alone. It's like that I'm not important to you anymore. *Tear Rolling Her Eyes* What makes you not want to talk to me anymore, Master? Is it because I'm not as good as everyone else? Am I not important anymore? Please, answer that for me, Master..." Kiyohime questions
"*Looking At Her* Kiyohime..."
"..."
"Do you think I'm someone that like me would do something like to you, Kiyohime? You're one of my best friends! I would never betray someone like you!" Sonic said
"Are you only saying this as an excuse for the truth, Master? Are you lying to me again?" Kiyohime questions
"What I'm saying here is accurate, Kiyohime. It bothers me to see you in a sad state. After knowing about your past and the betrayal of your lover when you were alive. I understand how you feel when you see someone you care about not look over you as well." Sonic replied
"Master..."
"Sure, I talk to the other Servants a lot and do not give more attention to you. But I'm still a Master at the end of the day, although I'm a Master that allows freedom to the Servants without giving them orders. It's still my job to treat everyone fairly and give them as much attention as I do. That includes the new Servants that are summoned to help us. But I never forgot about you, and I knew I needed to give you at least some attention. And for that, I'm sorry, Kiyohime. Sorry for not giving you as much support as you want. I promise I'll hang out with you more in the future." Sonic said
"Master... *Gets Closer To Sonic And Kisses Him On The Cheek* You still had me on your mind even though you never see me in front of you. That tells me that you still love me and will never forget about me. As expected from my loving Husband. After you cleared the air for yourself, I now understand the true meaning of everything and that you still cared about me. Hehehehe! It seems my emotions always win over me every single time. *Hugs Sonic* Please don't ever leave my side, Master. Please stay with me forever as my loving Husband." Kiyohime said
"*Rubbing his Cheek To Clean Himself And Trying To Find A Acceptable Answer* I will, Kiyohime. But still, it's rather better if you don't call me Husand..." Sonic said
"Don't worry, Sonic. You'll get used to it. Just like me." Kiyohime replied
Moments later, Sonic and Kiyohime heard shouting coming from the distance.
"Sonic?! SONIC! Sonic, where are you?! I heard your voice, and I came to see you!" Amy shouted
"Oh no! Amy heard us! She's going to kill us if she catches me!" Sonic panicking
"*Grabs Sonic's Hand* Don't worry, Master. I will make a quick getaway. Just follow me. I know many hiding spots that will help you stay low on your friend. She won't take you away from me." Kiyohime said
"No wonder I always see you on my bed in the middle of the night!" Sonic replied
"And I will continue doing that! Now come on, let's go! *Begins Running Away With Sonic To Hide From Amy Coming*." Kiyohime said
