"If I have to make a guess, it's probably that he has connections with King Arthur, and you are technically his Son... I'm still unsure how to think about that now that I mentioned it... Despite the many King Arthurs inside Chaldea as we speak. The fact that Sonic was King Arthur before is jarring to me."Osakabehime replies
"B-But... Even so... I... I see him treating me much differently than the other one. But I know one mistake I made could change everything like before... Dammit... Why do I always bring bad luck to everything I do...?" Mordred commented
"You aren't going to get your answer unless you go and talk with Sonic. I'm unsure why you keep telling me these things when you can ask him everything. I'm just here to get a snack and return to my room to stay for a couple of hours again." Osakabehime said

"Haha~ Thanks for taking me to see Sir Knuckles again, Master! I hoped to see him again, and I'm glad I got my wish!" Gareth exclaimed
"Anytime, Gareth! Knux was quite happy to see you again after a while. If you like, I can talk with him about going on some adventure with you sometime." Sonic asks
"That will be awesome for you to do so! Thank you so much, Sonic! You're too kind for us Servants sometime!" Gareth replies
"Gotta make sure everyone here has a positive attitude! Can't let my friends here feel under the weather, you know what I mean?" Sonic said
"Yeah, I know it very well! Anyway, I'll see you around Master later! Oh, how rude of me for such inconvenience! Forgive me for not calling you by your appropriate title, your Majesty." Gareth Apologize
"Meh, you didn't need to apologize. I don't mind what you call me now. I'm okay with just being called Sonic. King Arthur is just one of many nicknames I've used throughout my life." Sonic explains
"I see, but as a member of the round table, it is my Arthurity to call you by your title, your Majesty," Gareth replies
"As long as you don't go around and say that to those not associated with Chaldea, then everything should be fine with me, *High Fives Gareth, Before She Walks Away From Him*" Sonic assured
"This is your chance now, Mordred. Be the tough one you always are, and make your way to talk with Sonic! Besides, why would Sonic want to distance himself away from you? Sure, he's busy with taking care of the other Servants around here, but that doesn't mean he's trying to stay as far away from you as much as possible." Osakabehime announced
"*Regeresting What Osakabehime Just Said And Sighs* Let's just get this over with. I already know what to expect from all of them very soon... *Walks Up Towards Sonic* Sonic, you got a minute to spare?" Mordred said
"*Turns To Look At Mordred Walking Towards Him* Oh, sup Mordred? I haven't seen you in a little; what's up?" Sonic said
"Yeah... It's been a while since we last spoke to each other. Sorry for that, but now that we're talking once more. I came here to ask you something I... have thought for a little now." Mordred replies
"Sure thing, Modored! Lay it on me! What is it that you want to say to me?" Sonic asks
"Well, since you already know the history between myself and my Father. I've never got to bond with my Father as much as I wanted to... And since you are technically King Arthur yourself from a different world... I-I was wondering if you'll like to hang out together... Make up for the lost times we haven't spoken to each other before..." Mordred requested
"I see where this is going... Yeah, I will say it does rub me the wrong way that your Father never gave you the attention or the respect you desperately needed. I read everything that was associated with the downfall of Camelot. I even know about the part where your Father took your life away. I was disappointed everything ended the way it did." Sonic commented
"... Yeah... Every version of my Father here doesn't accept me one bit and usually forgets that I even existed in the first place... I know I'm a disgrace to them, and they don't want any connections with me... That's why my last chance to be accepted is you... Father..." Mordred said
"(There's no going back in this anymore. Despite not wanting or understanding how to be a Dad to someone. Mordred still needs my help, and I want to give her the attention that she desperately needs) I see, although I don't like being called a "Dad" nor do I know what it takes to be a Father. I'll still gladly help you get back on your feet again." Sonic replies

"I'll gladly hang around with you, Morded! It's the best thing I can do for a buddy that needs a helping hand! Come on, turn that frown upside down! You aren't a disgrace to no one here!" Sonic stated
"A-Are you sure, Sonic...? We can forget about this whole thing and-"
"No can do, buddy! I can't let a pal continue to kick themselves in the dirt any longer! *Pat's Mordred In The Back* I greatly enjoy your company, Mordred. No need for your past to be stern for you today. I'll stay by your side until the world decides to split us; you can count on me with that." Sonic said
"*Speechless For A Few Moments Before Pulling Him Close And Hugging Him Tight* Sometimes... I forget how much of a big softy you always are, Sonic... But I can't lie and say it's what I like about you. Thank you... Master... I don't deserve someone like you in my life at all..." Mordred thanking Sonic
"Just doing what I can to help you out, Mordred. Although I still find it weird being called a Dad for a while... That doesn't mean I'm pushing you away here. Remember, Mordred. I'll be there to help you whenever you need it." Sonic said
"*Smiles* Thank you... Master..."
"Don't mention it, buddy. Still wanting to hang around as you told me just now?" Sonic asks
"Of course! I don't see any issue with that. Let's go to your world and leave this place for a little!" Mordred replies
*Sometime Later, Sonic's World*
"*Walking Through Station Square In Her Costume 1* So how was it like being King Author in your Camelot? I must've gone through the same shit as Knights and myself." Mordred said
"I never got the whole experience of becoming a King myself back in my Camelot. First, it was already too late for me when I finally chose a King Author. And second, was that I wasn't interested in ruling a Kingdom, nor was I into royalty like that. That's why I gave up on being King and returned to who I was before I arrived." Sonic explains
"At least your story has somewhat of a happy ending. I wouldn't have guessed my Father would ever want to step down from being King and let someone else take his spot. So it is a suprise for me to hear a different King Author not wanting to continue ruling Camelot. Let alone a talking Blue Hedgehog being chosen as a King." Mordred stated
"Yeah, the world is sometimes stranger than fiction, but what will I do? What happened happened, and that's just part of my legacy." Sonic commented
"Heh~ Who could forget the time you used Excalibur's power to turn himself into a Golden Knight against that massive Fluffy giant back in Britain? I was blown away to see something you kept hidden from us for so long." Mordred said
"Sure, I could've gone Super like any other time we're dealing with a significant threat. But I felt like using Excalibur would be the reasonable way to defeat that giant fur-ball back in Britain. And boy, you should've seen the faces of everyone once I turned into Excalibur!" Sonic stated
"Alright, now you're just showing off at this point," Mordred commented
"What can I say? You can thank Morgan and her Knights for everything they've thrown at us during our trip there. It was only a matter of time before I had to use that skill again." Sonic said
"Heh~ I will admit, seeing you swinging your version of Caliburn was a sight to behold. It was unlike anything my own Father would be capable of doing. I would've sided with you had you become the Ruler of that Lostbelt!" Mordred stated
"Let's not get too overboard, Mordred. I'm just doing what I can to protect my friends, that's all. At least those four apologized for everything that happened when I summoned them later. I still need to get Morgan off my tail, but I'll deal with that later." Sonic replies
"Man, you are one big softy, aren't you, Sonic? Bringing pieces of shit to our side despite them trying to kill us before or having done something atrocious when they were alive." Mordred mentions
"I know some of the Servants in Chaldea aren't the best people. People like Gilles and Columbus are the ones that come up in everyone's mind, but at least they fully admit to their faults and try to be at least somewhat useful to us in Chaldea. I can understand why you would think like that." Sonic replies
"After you brought literal Beasts into Chaldea, I gave up on how you form alliances with the people we run into and form Contracts. At least I'm not complaining about you increasing our team numbers. So there's at least that." Mordred said
"The more the merrier, Mordred. Our team is only going to increase more as the year goes by. There's no doubt about that!" Sonic assured
I won't doubt that from you; seeing you summon Durga was just another case of enemies to allies again. But moving away from all this nonsense, how about you and I beat the shit out of the fat bastards' machines roaming around? I'm itching to beat something up right now!" Mordred said
"Sounds like a plan! How about a little competition to quickly take down the most Badnicks?" Sonic challenging Mordred

"*Homing Attacking Several Badnicks While Performing Air-Tricks* Now that's 60 of Egghead's dumb machines destroyed by the one and only! Another easy win is in the bucket!" Sonic mocked
"Don't get too cocky, Sonic! I'm barely breaking a sweat taking these bastards down! *Charges Up Clarent As It Engulfs In Red Energy As She Swings It Down, Unleashing A Pillar Of Energy In Front Of Her, Engulfing The Several Badnicks In Front Of Her And Destroying Them Quickly* Ha! Now that's 70 of these bastards destroyed from me! And not a single one in sight! I hate to break it to you, Sonic, but it looks like I've won-"
"*Suddenly, Several More Badnicks Fall Around Mordred As Sonic Dashes Right In Front Of Her, Cleaning His Gloves* Sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear you from the number of machines falling one by one. If you excuse me, I'll take back that title and declare myself the winner here." Sonic said
"Dammit! Constantly having to ruin everyone's fun at the last second. At least make it up once and a while." Mordred said
"Sorry, just can't help myself, Mordred! *Kicks A Destroyed Badnick Away As He Looks Around* Looks like that's the last of them here. How about we rest here for a little before we head off?" Sonic said
"*Sits On The Ground, Placing Clarent Right Beside Her* Damn... How many of these machines does that fat scientist have with him? I don't get how you can fight these things for this long... Even as a kid, you dealt with these machines as well..." Mordred stated
"Trust me. This isn't everything Eggman likes to throw at my friends and me. These Badnicks we just dealt with were the common ones that usually roamed around in areas like this. He has more in his arsenal that he likes to save when things aren't going in his direction. And that's saying something." Sonic replies
"If only I were that dedicated at a very young age. Maybe I could've impressed Father so she could've accepted me." Mordred commented
"We talked about this, Mordred. There's no need to downplay yourself because of what happened in your past. You're already amazing the way you are today. That alone is what makes you a strong person." Sonic said

"*Walks Up To Mordred And Places His Hand On Her Shoulder* Mordred, just think about it for a moment. Despite everything that happened to you, Artoria, and Camelot in the end. I know that you have much more potential inside you if you can harness that and use that to your advantage. I guarantee you that things we'll become better than you think. So don't think you're a disgrace because you aren't and never will be. I promise everyone in Chaldea wants you to succeed at greater heights than before! Show them what you're made of! Show everyone just much powerful a Knight as you can be and overcome everything that is being thrown at you!" Sonic explained
"*Staring At Sonic For A Moment Before Tightly Hugging Him* I'll... I'll make sure not to disappoint you anymore... I promise you I'll become a better Knight to you and only you... I'll continue to raise my sword and protect you until the very end... I promise that I won't make the same mistake as what happened... Just promise me... Promise me that you won't push me away as the others have done to me... Father..." Mordred whispers
"*Slightly Against Being Called A Dad But Decides To Let It Slide For Now* I promise I won't, Mordred. You don't need to worry about that happening anymore. I and a few others would never want to see you treated awfully. Just continue to be yourself and do whatever is right for you. Don't let your past eat you anymore, got it?" Sonic said
"I'll... Try not to let my past get the better of me anymore... Only the present and future are more important." Mordred promises
"That's what I like to hear from you, Mordred. Say, the day is still alive, so why don't we go on and head over to our next activity?" Sonic said
"*Pulls Back From The Hug* I'll love to, Master! Let's get going!" Mordred replies
*Hours Later, Night Time*
"*Looking Up At The Full Moon* I will admit, I had a blast with you today, Sonic. I haven't felt this happy in so long. I don't remember a day where I was this excited!" Mordred said
"I'm just glad to see you smiling once more, Mordred. All you needed was someone that you could express yourself with. But I'm not the only one who could give you this feeling you are experiencing. I know a few that could also treat you the same way! All you need is to ask, and that's pretty easy!" Sonic replies
"Heh~ It's pretty for you to say. I still have a long way to go to become my best. But I'll surely reach that goal, no doubt of that!" Mordred said
"And I'll ensure everyone is there with you once you achieve it! You aren't alone anymore, Mordred. You have me and the Servants that can help you throughout your journey. If others are against it, you do you and continue pushing forwards regardless!" Sonic assured
"*Puts Her Arm Around Sonic* Thank you for everything, Master. Rest assured that I'll be there with you until the world decides to cut us away from one another. Thank you, Father." Mordred said
"Anytime, Mordred. But, I wish you could call me something other than "Father." It can be anything but not that..." Sonic stated
"And whose fault is it for being King Arthur in the first place? You brought this all upon yourself and should've known what to expect once you claimed the title of King Arthur." Mordred said
"Point taken. Maybe I shouldn't order 2 Hot Dogs and fall through a portal anymore. That will stop me from traveling to different worlds, defeating a Genie, or becoming A King." Sonic stated
"*Rubbing His Head* You're funny sometimes, Master~ Or should I say again Father," Mordred said
"Okay, you can stop now... We need to head back to Chaldea before everyone starts worrying about us being missing." Sonic replies
"Yeah, I'm tired and want to head to bed now. Let's go meet your Fox friend and head back to Chaldea!" Mordred said
