A/N: First update of the new year!

Enjoy!

CHAPTER TEN: THIRD GENERATION

Two days after the Lacrima was implanted into Sebastian as well as everyone getting worried that it might not have worked, the guild had finally gotten news.

"He's awake!" Nox exclaimed.

Orion and Aster were the first to react as they had gotten up from their seats and into the infirmary. Sure enough, Sebastian was sitting up holding a sobbing Raden.

"Hey, stop crying, Raden. I'm not dead, y'know." Sebastian said.

"Sebastian!"

Both Orion and Aster crashed into Sebastian, making him yelp. "Oi, you two! I'm still trying to recover here!" Sebastian informed.

"You..." Orion growled before grabbing onto Sebastian's shirt, shaking him. "Don't ever scare me like that again, you bastard!"

"Alright, alright! Stop shaking me!" Sebastian groaned before glancing over towards Aster. "Val, are you crying?"

"Shut up! I'm not!" Aster denied, making Sebastian chuckle.

Souta soon came into the room, causing everyone to leave. "Sebastian, I'm glad to see you're okay." Souta told him.

"I feel good as new, Master. Not to mention, more powerful. Nox told me a Dragon Lacrima was implanted in me, making me a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, correct?" Sebastian asked, making Souta nod.

"Anyways, Master. I have a feeling you didn't come in just to see how I was recovering."

"Right as usual." Souta said. "I have four people in my office who want to join Black Sun. They're former Cursed Dragons members. And one of them is Rose Kurogane."

Sebastian flinched. "The woman who was behind the whole reason why I was in a coma?" He asked.

"I wanted to run the idea by you before I let her join the guild. I'll completely understand if you don't want her to join." Souta replied.

Sebastian sighed. "Black Sun is a guild that welcomes mages no matter their backstory and offers second chances. I think you should let her in." He said. "Besides, I'm not the type to hold grudges."

Souta smiled before nodding and walking out of the infirmary room.

"Are you sure you should be walking?" Orion questioned when he saw Sebastian walking towards him, Aster, and Massorao.

Sebastian waved his concern off. "Nox said I was good to be discharged, and gave me the green light for jobs again." He responded.

"Everyone, may I have your attention." Souta's voice was heard from the second floor, making everyone in the guild go silent. "We have four new members that will be joining us, so let's give them a Black Sun welcome!"

A ginger-haired woman stepped forward, getting Kida and Zane's attention. A red Black Sun guild mark was located on her left thigh. A familiar black-haired male soon followed, catching Kross's attention as a green Black Sun guild mark was located on his left shoulder. A blonde-haired male stepped in between Souta and the black-haired male, a gray Black Sun guild mark was on his right bicep.

Finally, a black-haired woman stepped up on the other side of Souta, causing Orion and Aster to go on high alert. A dark red Black Sun guild mark was located on her right thigh.

"You! What are you doing here?!" Aster questioned.

"These are your new guild members: Reina, Daegon, Eric, and Rose." Souta announced.

"Reina, Daegon, and Eric I can accept but Kurogane shouldn't be anywhere near the guild after what she did to Sebastian!" Orion protested, causing mumurs of agreement to spread throughout the guild hall.

"If we accept her we're no better than Fairy Tail when they accepted Gajeel even after he destroyed their guild hall and hurt three of their members!" Romin added on.

Rose scoffed at his statement. "It's not like I want to be here. Now that Cursed Dragons is disbanded, we're just mages looking for work." She informed, causing another uproar.

"Look for work somewhere else!"

"We don't want you here!"

Souta raised his hand in the air, making everyone go silent. "I understand everyone's concern, but I have talked to Sebastian about this. He's perfectly fine with it." He informed.

"Is this true, Sebastian?" Orion asked.

"You know I'm not the type to hold grudges, Orion." Sebastian answered. "You shouldn't either."

Orion crossed his arms. "Tsk, fine." He said, making Sebastian smile.

Few days later, Magnolia...

Sebastian groaned as him and Raden finally arrived in Magnolia Town. "Geez, four hours on a train from Bridgehollow to Magnolia is torture." Sebastian complained, getting off the train.

"Why do you keep doing this then?" Raden asked.

"Raden, it's been six years since Fairy Tail's strongest members were declared dead, correct?" Sebastian questioned, making Raden nod. "Orion, Val, Massorao and I make a lot of jewel on the S-Class jobs we go on. I'll keep helping Fairy Tail out as long as those Ogres keep quiet on who's paying them."

For the past six years, Sebastian had been paying Twilight Ogre money when Fairy Tail couldn't. No one else in Black Sun knew about this, however. With the exception of Raden.

Sebastian and Raden finally arrived to the Twilight Ogre guild, entering its doors. "Yo, Banana! Has Fairy Tail paid you assholes yet this month?" Sebastian insulted.

"It's Banaboster." Banaboster corrected.

"Banana seems more fitting, don't ya think?" Sebastian grinned. "Anyways, here's your money."

Sebastian sets the jewel down as Banaboster takes it. "You've been doing this for the past six years. Why?" Banaboster questioned.

"It's quite simple. But I'll break it down so your pea brain can understand." Sebastian answered, making the Twilight Ogre guild master growl. "Fairy Tail has already gone through enough with their strongest members disappearing. They don't need your abuse placed on top of that. It was either paying you anonymously or burn down your entire guild hall. I'm great at causing destruction, but I didn't want Master Souta having to deal with the Magic Council."

"I don't want to be around you dipshits longer than I have to and I must be heading back. Raden, let's go."

"Right, Sebastian."

Sebastian placed the hood over his head and walks out of Twilight Ogre, almost bumping into Macao in the process. "Whoops, just going to move out of your way there." Sebastian said, stepping aside and letting Macao through.

Macao thanked him before entering Twilight Ogre. "Banaboster, I got your money for this month." He informed.

"Don't need it. It's already been taken care of." Banaboster replied, surprising Macao.

"Again?" Macao thought as he went back to the run-down guild hall.

"Let me guess - the money issue with Twilight Ogre has already been dealt with?" Wakaba asked when Macao entered.

"Yeah." Macao responded.

"Who in the hell keeps on paying them?" Max wondered out loud.

"And why?" Alzack added.

"Who knows." Macao said, thinking back to the hooded figure that he almost bumped into. "I wonder... Could it be them?"

A/N: It has been revealed that Sebastian is helping Fairy Tail out! But for what reason? Well, you'll find out soon!

I'm thinking about binging this since my other two SYOC stories are already halfway through the GMG arc. Either that, or place God Pegasus on hiatus until I can catch Twilight Phoenix and this one up to date.

Thanks for reading!
