Author's Note: This takes inspiration from Yoshihiro Togashi's illustration of Hisoka as a reaper in chapter 53 of the manga.

A mango that is plucked before its prime
Shall never measure up to ripened fruit
So hasten not the steady wear of time
For seasons rule the quality of loot.
Once gentle greens surrender to the glow
Of sunshine, gold, and buttercups in bloom,
That is the magic moment when you'll know
To weave your harvest basket with a loom.
Beneath the branches drooping with June's yield,
You savor juices fresh from shredded skins;
The pulp is sweetest when the rind is peeled
By fingers sharper than their owner's sins.

With three and fifty scythes tucked in your sleeve,
The reaping shall not rest till frost's reprieve.
