Volume 1 Finale Part 1:
DAY 1 OF THE VYTAL FESTIVAL
Ruby: Hey, mom.
Standing on a beautiful edge as leaves fell around was Ruby Rose standing in front of a white gravestone which had the name "Summer Rose" carved in. She was Ruby's mother and Yang's as well. She died when they were just kids, but Ruby never stopped coming to visit her.
Ruby: Sorry I haven't come by in a while. Things have been... well, things have been, pretty busy. Oh, Dad's here, too! He's, uh, you know... Dad. He's still teaching at Signal. But he told me that he's going to be on some mission soon. I think he misses adventuring with you...I miss you too. I haven't gotten kicked out of Beacon yet! So that's cool. I think being on a team with Yang helps. Keep her in line... That was a joke. She's actually a really great fighter! You can tell she's learned a lot from Dad! Oh, so are Weiss and Blake. Oh! They're my teammates! Together, we formed Team RWBY! And yes, before you ask, that does cause a lot of confusion. Anyways, I made a bunch of new friends, and then I met some... let's just say, uh, odd teachers. And then we got to meet a strange boy who didn't remember who he was at first but when he did, he was more than just a strange boy. He was called The Doctor.
Not an hour went by that the girls all looked up the sky or within the crowd to see their time lord friend, but they understood he wouldn't show his face, especially with Weiss around but they missed him very much.
Ruby: You're probably wondering, "Doctor Who?" Well...he's simply known as the Doctor to us. He's an alien that looks human called a time lord, unfortunately he's the very last of his species since they all died in a terrible war between his people and an enemy known as the Daleks. Surprisingly, he has a Dalek friend called Dalek Khan who is also my best friend. He travels in this spaceship that looks like a police box but it's HUGE ON THE INSIDE! We've travelled through space and back in time, risky but fun. Unfortunately, something terrible happened that led him to leave...and Weiss had to lose her memories of him as well...
It hasn't been long already and both Yang and Blake were going to tell Weiss everything about the Doctor just to get her memories back, but Ruby held them back from making it happen. She wishes the same thing but knew Weiss could be in trouble if she remembered. She didn't want that even if she wished Weiss would remember. She decided to change the topic as she wiped a tear from her cheek.
Ruby: Oh! We've also stopped some bad guys, too! I guess it's like they say: "like mother, like daughter"! I still wonder why Ozpin let me into the school early. But uh, I guess he'll tell me one day. You know how he is. It's funny, the more I get to know him, the more he's starting to sound like Uncle Qrow. *Hears Zwei bark* Oh! Looks like Dad's back! I gotta go! He's dropping me off at Beacon for the first tournament match before he goes on his next mission. Wish me luck!... It was good to talk. Love you, Mom.

DAY 5 OF THE VYTAL FESTIVAL
5 days have already passed of this Vytal Festival and a lot has occurred. Day 1 & 2 begins wit Team Battle in the Round of 16. Followed by the Last 8 where the team winners must select two participants of their teams to compete in Day 3 & 4. Today came to Day 5 would be its last with the Semifinals and Final but it wasn't off to a hot start. Yang just moved on to the Final after defeating Mercury, or so she thought. After he tried to attack her despite the match being over, Yang delivered a powerful punch sending him back but only she saw that. Everyone including her own team looked in horror and shock as she saw on the screen herself attacking Mercury after he offered his hand in respect. This led to being surrounded at gunpoint by soldiers which terrified her. Back in the dorms after everything that went down, they were being talked to by General Ironwood.
Ironwood: You all seem like good students, and the staff here at Beacon are fully aware that you would never lash out the way you did... under normal circumstances. What I believe and hope this to be is nothing more than the result of stress and adrenaline. When you're out on the battlefield, your judgment can become clouded in an instant. Sometimes you see things that simply aren't there. Even after the fight is past...
Yang: But I wasn't-
Ironwood: That's ENOUGH! *sighs* The sad truth is, whether it was an accident or an assault, it doesn't matter. The world saw you attack an innocent student. They've already drawn their own conclusions. And it's my job to inform you that... you are disqualified.
All four eyes were widened by the sudden decision by Ironwood as he leaves the room leaving Team RWBY on her own while Yang stared at the floor angry, gutted, scared, guilty, and much more emotions. The worse part, they couldn't report Cinder and her team without any evidence or the Doctor here. She needed reassurance and looked at her team.
Yang: You guys believe me, right?
Ruby: Duh!
Weiss: You're hotheaded, but not ruthless.
Hearing it from her sister and ice queen made her feel a bit calm but there was still one more person who hasn't said anything and it was the person she hoped would've been the first one to answer but instead she looked away from Yang.
Yang: Blake?
Blake: I want to believe you...
Ruby: Huh!?
Weiss: What's that supposed to mean?
Yang: *eyes widened and tears up* Blake?
Weiss: *stands up angry* How can you say something like that? Yang would never lie to us!
Blake: *breathes and looks down* I had someone very dear to me change. It wasn't in an instant, it was gradual - little choices that began to pile up. He told me not to worry. At first they were accidents, then it was self-defense. Before long, even I began to think he was right... This is all just... very familiar... But you're not him. And you've never done anything like this before. So... I want to trust you. I will trust you. But first, I need you to look me in the eyes and tell me that he attacked you. I need you to promise me that you regret having to do what you did.
Yang: *groans* I saw him attack me, so I attacked back!
Blake: *breathes and smiles at Yang* Okay. Thank you.
But it wasn't enough anymore for Yang as she felt like she was going to blow up at any given moment. After everything she went through, dealt with, and has either accomplished or failed, she wished now to have the right words to motivate her.
Yang: I wish he was here...
Weiss: Who?
Yang: Hmph funny. He always found it funny when they called him that. His words are what I need. He would know what to say in this situation.
Weiss: WHO?
Ruby: Yang, don't!
Yang: I won't. I just wish he would give me the words and advice that could help me feel a little better. It's been almost a week since we last saw him. We don't even know what he's doing?
Ruby and Blake looked at each other knowing it was bad timing to bring up the Doctor in front of Weiss, but she was also right. In difficult times like these, he could be here to motivate them and find the right words for them to keep. Giving a signal to Ruby to distract Weiss, Ruby nods back and carries Weiss out of the room while Blake and Yang remained alone in the room.
Blake: Hey... *goes in front of her*
Yang: So many things are going wrong. The Doctor left, Weiss doesn't have any memory of him, I was looked as dangerous today, and now...we got disqualified.
Blake: There are things even I wish we could fix, especially recent things but there's just nothing we can do about it.
Yang: You almost made me think...you gave up on me...
Blake: *eyes widened* I would never Yang! I got a little worried that you were going far but seeing how you reacted and what you said, I knew I was wrong. *Holds her hand* I am never going to leave your side. I will always have my trust in you and be your partner. It's gonna take a lot of bad things to get rid of me.
Yang: *giggles and place my forehead on hers* I would never want that. I always want you to stay by our side...by mine. *Blushes softly*
Blake: *smiles* Thank you Yang! Hey! Why not when we go on break, let's do some fun trips together. Clear our minds from everything and have a little fun.
Yang: HELL YEAH!
To Blake, it was finally the perfect opportunity to start over in her life and make it better. Who else than her friends, her team but for Yang, it was a way to get closer to Blake, the girl she has begun to grow feelings for. Meanwhile, Ruby and Weiss continued to head back in time for the next match which would be Pyrrha vs Penny.
Weiss: Ruby?
Ruby: Wassup Weiss?
Weiss: Who was Yang talking about? She kept referring to the person as He.
Ruby: O-Oh! J-Just a close friend of hers that she hasn't seen or heard from in a while.
Weiss: Hmm. Interesting. And why are you stuttering about it?
This was bad. Ruby couldn't think of any proper excuse for that but by a miracle saved by the bell, Jaune and others appeared to check up on Yang and know anything about Mercury. Ren followed up with asking Ruby and Weiss if there is anything they could do to help, this would be Weiss's chance.
Weiss: Actually, yes. Since Ruby won't answer me TRUTHFULLY! Do you guys happen to know a friend of Ruby and Yang? From what I can understand, he's a male and he hasn't been in contact with them for over a week now.
Ruby felt her soul leave her body that Weiss asked this. She looked over at JNPR with a look hoping they didn't forget their talk a few days back. She explained to them everything that happened and the outcome in the end with the Doctor wiping Weiss's memory of him. Jaune looked at Ruby and gave her a reassuring look.
Jaune: Not that I can think of.
Pyrrha: We've been busy as well that we didn't know something was up.
Weiss: *grunts and looks at Ruby* You three are hiding something so secretive that you can't even tell me?
Ruby: W-Weiss, that's not the case I swear!
This only led to Weiss walking out in frustration. Something in her mind was bothering her for almost a week as if a memory was trying to come back but nothing worked. And now, her very own team has been keeping a secret from her that has her intrigued yet stressed.
Jaune: Does she know?
Ruby: *sighs* No, Yang was so frustrated that she almost mentioned him, but we were able to keep it low profile. However, Weiss has been desperate to know.
Nora: It's not right...that he did this...
Ruby: We thought the same thing too. But seeing all the pain and guilt on his face made us understand that he blamed himself for everything. Pyrrha, there is one thing I would ask for you. You be sure to win one for Beacon, okay? It's what Yang would want.
Pyrrha: *bites lips but nods* I'll... do my best.
FEW HOURS LATER
The arena was once again packed for the next tournament clash between Pyrrha Nikos and Penny Polendina. Ruby, Weiss, and Blake were all there as well while Yang remained behind to still get some rest from everything that occurred earlier. While approaching an open seat, she noticed a familiar face not that far from them and was shocked to see Emerald back here once again, but she didn't look back at her as she was looking up at the crowd with fear in her eyes.
Ruby: No...
She looked up into the large pile of crowd which was difficult at first until she saw a person away from the crowd on a empty seat looking back at Emerald. It was him. After an entire week of disappearing, he made it to the Vytal Festival which meant trouble. She was about to say something until Blake signaled her to keep it quiet with a concerned look. She also knows he is up there and notified Yang as well all while Weiss remained focused on the match. Ruby then noticed Emerald making a run for it and she decided to follow. She also noticed him making his leave meaning he was going to look for Emerald as well.
Emerald: *calls Cinder* Cinder...he's here. We gotta act NOW!
Professor Port: It looks like our first contender is... Penny Polendina from Atlas... And her opponent will be... Pyrrha Nikos from Beacon!
Penny: Sal-u-tations, Pyrrha Nikos! It's an honor to finally meet you! This is going to be so much fun!
Pyrrha could only look at Penny with a troubling and nervous look as she takes deep breaths, and the match finally begins. Ruby, continuing to find Emerald which led to no luck, noticed something else...someone she didn't expect to see: Mercury.
Ruby: *eyes widened* Mercury?! W-What are you doing here? You were hurt! Why... What's going on?
Mercury: *smirks* Showtime.
Mercury lunges at Ruby who is trying to escape him and make a run for it to alert the others. Using his body and skills to prevent her from going forward, she launches herself into a blur of red petals but is kicked twice by him, sending her crashing back. She pulls her scroll out but is blasted away by a bullet as she looks terrified.
Mercury: Let's just keep this between us friends.
He continued walking and looking for Emerald. On what was supposed to be a normal day to watch the tournament, he knew something was up the moment he noticed her, but he did notice Cinder or Mercury which grew his suspicion. It took a couple more minutes of searching before he stumbled upon her and watched as she was activating her semblance and realized she was creating an illusion. Enough was enough and he approached her before slamming her to the wall.
Emerald: THE HELL IS WRONG WITH...you...*eyes widened and pants* P-Please don't kill me...
The Doctor: Oh dear, I can do so much worse things to you and your friends if you don't tell me what you are planning in 1 minute. This will be your ultimate hell.
Ruby continued to fight with Mercury, but he kept getting the upper hand with his fighting skills and gets a face-full of boot. Next, he fires a shot, but she manages to duck before receiving another kick to the gut sending her back. He slowly walked to her and pressed his leg down her throat as she struggled to free herself.
Mercury: I'm gonna enjoy snapping you like a twit.
She was losing air and consciousness, she was alone and had no help, she was scared no one would know until a bright flash passed by and Mercury is on the ground. Coughing and trying to catch her breath, she approached him to see him panting but unable to move.
Dalek Khan: YOU WILL NOT HURT MY BEST FRIEND!
Ruby: KHAN!
Mercury: *pants and tries to move* H-HELP!
Dalek Khan: Your body is completely paralyzed for approximately 1 hour! Consider this...mercy.
Ruby: Mercury...we want the truth. Tell. Us. Everything!
Simultaneously, when both Ruby and The Doctor held their enemy down, they heard a loud gasp and screaming from the crowd as they looked into the arena and noticed the horror. Ruby ran forward before collapsing on her knees at the sight of Penny broken apart and on the ground. Everyone in the arena and watching from broadcasts were left stunned at this.
Oobleck: No!...
Ruby: Penny...*tears up and sobs*
The Doctor: *eyes widened and looks at Emerald* Now YOU, Emerald, you are staring into a deep dark pit of trouble if you don't tell me what are you doing? You think I'm still the Doctor of the past? *Points my Sonic at her* Think again?
She saw pure rage and fire inside the eyes of this man, and it scared her to death. She was held in a tight position with no way to fight back or escape, Mercury and Cinder weren't nearby to help either. She knew her last option would be to tell the truth and she was going to, knowing the damage it'd bring to her. But she was saved just on time by an incoming transmission by Cinder which everyone heard.
Cinder: This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children, to men who claim to be our guardians, but are, in reality, nothing more than men. Our Academies' Headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both.
He walked to the exit of the dugout and tried to look for Cinder but no luck. He used his Sonic screwdriver to locate the transmission while Emerald wasted no time catching her breath and making a run for it.
Cinder: They cling to this power in the name of peace, and yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army, mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference. And what, I ask you, is Ozpin teaching his students? First a dismemberment, now this? Huntsmen and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither.
After pinpointing her location, the Time Lord Victorious began to make a run back to his TARDIS knowing the dark times were coming. It frightened him because the prophecy of the Elder Sylph kept coming back into his head. Reaching to his TARDIS, he wasted no time in locking the coordinates and dematerialized, heading straight to her.
Cinder: Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the Tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong. But I know the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is... equally undesirable. Our Kingdoms are on the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark.
From the depths of the forests, Grimm began to come out detecting all the negative emotions being felt in Beacon during the Vytal festival. Soldiers tried to fire back as much as they could, but they were easily outnumbered.
Cinder: So I ask you: When the first shots are fired... who do you think you can trust?
The transmission cuts as a CAUTION alert appeared on the screens which was beginning to bring fear among the people as the broadcasts try to spread the message of not needing to panic.
Warning System: Alert. Incoming Grimm attack. Threat level: Nine. Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner.
Ironwood: Ladies and gentlemen, please. There is no need for panic.
But it was already too late, a screeching roar was heard from above as a Giant nevermore appeared and tried to break the defense shield. The crowd began to flee, wild and screaming, through the exit tunnels. Huntsmen and Huntresses were in a state of shock and panic as well looking above at what was happening.
Sun: A Nevermore!?
Coco: How did it get past the Kingdom's defenses!?
Ren: It wasn't alone...
Weiss: Where's Ruby? *Holds my head in pain*
Blake: Weiss! We need to find Ruby and head back to find Yang!
Weiss nodded while still holding her head in pain feeling like there was something, someone she knew who could help stop this. Meanwhile, Cinder watched Nevermore continue to break the defense shield, not realizing she wasn't alone.
The Doctor: I warned you very well what would happen Cinder!
Cinder: *eyes widened and turns around* Y-You're too late Doctor! You never saw it coming and you can't prevent it now.
He is the Doctor. Let him join you...or KILL HIM!
The Doctor: Perhaps. But I can easily stop it as well. You humans are so naïve and inferior. A human like you trying to stand up to a superior being unlike anything you have dealt with before.
Tell him...TELL HIM WHO YOU ARE!
Cinder debated on this because it could change her plans drastically and could turmoil but at the same time, she believed that this would worry the time lord and even it up. She decided it was time even though she doesn't know who the whispers in her head are.
Cinder: You are wrong Doctor *smirks* I'm not exactly human. I'm much more actually, it just took me a while to figure it out.
The Doctor: And what exactly would that be?
Cinder: I am also a Time Lord. Just. Like. You.
Everything stood still for the Time Lord, and everything went dark. His mind trached back to the Oxthordol King telling him those four words: You Are Not Alone. It was her, which meant it was him. Cinder Fall is a time lord. Cinder Fall is The Master. Using his sonic screwdriver, he scanned her and detected two hearts which also surprised Cinder. But only one heart was beating while the other wasn't. Their attention was taken away by the noise of explosions, screaming, and Grimms but when he looked back to confront her, she was gone. His hearts pounded knowing Cinder Fall was a time lord, but he wondered why she did not act like one. Cinder continued running to her next destination but the thought that she has two hearts put her in a bit of panic. What was she? She would have to figure it out on her own for a later time.
Atlas Ship Captain: This is Blue Four! Blues Two and Three, fall into defensive position!
Blue Three: Roger! Blue Three, in position!
Atlas Ship Captain: Blue Two, what's your status? Blue Two, come in! Someone answer me, dammit!
He kept reaching out but kept receiving no answers despite someone being on board. That someone was Neopolitan as she is in full Atlas pilot gear while being accompanied by a familiar criminal, Roman Torchwick.
Roman: Woo-hoohahahaha! Oohh, it is good to be back! Let's rock this joint Neo!
Piloting the ship, Neo begins to finish off nearby Atlas Battleships causing a massive explosion and a toll of Atlas soldiers. Not that far, upon a near cliffside where more Grimms approaching and followed by White Fang led by Adam Taurus who looked upon the destruction with a smirk.
Adam: Bring them to their knees!
Back at Beacon, people continue to run as more Grimms begin their attacks and kills while Blake and Weiss handle the most they can. It all went wrong, it was never supposed to be like this, especially today. While in cover for a few minutes, Blake grabs her scroll and calls for Yang while Weiss continued to look around.
Weiss: I don't believe this...Penny...
Blake: Yang, are you okay?
Yang: *runs in the hallways* I'm fine. Is Ruby with you? She's not answering her Scroll.
Blake: No, she isn't. Yang, I'm sure she's fine. She's our leader. She can take care of herself.
Yang stopped and closed her eyes with a worried expression before getting fired up and continuing to run once again. The fear soon disappeared when a familiar robotic voice was heard in the call surprising Blake and Yang but confusing Weiss.
Dalek Khan: SHE IS SAFE AND WITH ME!
Blake and Yang: KHAN!
Yang: Where are you guys?
Dalek Khan: Still in the arena alongside Ruby and JNPR. We will begin our escape and help you fight back against the enemies.
Yang: *sighs* Keep her close Khan. Don't lose her! I'm headed to the docks near the courtyard. The White Fang are releasing Grimm into the school!
Blake: The White Fang is here!? YANG, DON'T!
It had already gone from bad to worse, the White Fang were also a part of this attack which meant one thing to her: Adam was also here. It terrified her and knowing Yang was going to head over there. She was panicking but knew she needed to get over there ASAP!
Dalek Khan: ALERT! ALERT! THE DOCTOR IS NEARBY!
Hope. Blake, Yang, and even Ruby heard what Dalek Khan announced and it was what could perhaps turn this nightmare around. Weiss heard it as well before receiving the head pain once again as she hears her own voice calling for the Doctor.
Yang: Hopefully he can do everything to help us finish this. Gotta go! Be careful! *call ends*
Blake: YANG! YANG!
Weiss: Blake, what are we going to do?
Blake: We're going to the docks, and we're doing our job.
Back at the arena, the Nevermore screeches as it continues to weaken the force field that's holding it back from crashing in as Pyrrha stayed in shock and pain seeing what happened to Penny. The same goes for Ruby as she continued to let out her cries for her fallen friend.
Jaune: PYRRHA! Pyrrha, that thing's going to break in! You've gotta move!
Dalek Khan: WE MUST EVACUATE THE ARENA! FAST!
Nora: WHAT IS THAT?!
Suddenly, a big flash crosses around the arena as the Nevermore crashes through and lands on the ground sending everyone back. It notices Pyrrha and Jaune who is trying to have her wake up from the trauma that's holding her. The creature charges immediately but is attacked at a speed of light by Ruby Rose with an angry expression and holding one of Penny's swords.
Ruby: Leave her alone!
The Nevermore gets back up and roars back at Ruby before it gets ambushed by students from different academies. Wasting no time, they all worked together on fighting back the Nevermore. Dalek Khan also joined the fight in hitting crucial blasts on the creature as others question where it came from. Ultimately, the Nevermore is finished off by the students working together as JNR and Ruby check up on Pyrrha.
Pyrrha: Ruby, I... I'm so sorry. *Holds a piece of Penny's cloth and tears*
Ruby: Me too. But it wasn't your fault!
Jaune: She's right. Whoever was on that microphone... they're the ones that did this. And we have to make sure they don't take anyone else.
The Doctor: It was Cinder Fall and her goons. They started all this. It was their plan from the very beginning, and we must stop it. All of us!
Ruby and Dalek Khan: DOCTOR!
Jaune: Oh my god...
Pyrrha: Y-You're here!...
The Doctor: There's no time to catch up! LISTEN ALL OF YOU! Vale is now in a state of fear, terror, and death. Grimms, Torchwick's crew, and the White Fang are all on the loose in bringing this place down to the ground. We are not going to let that happen!
Coco: B-But how? We aren't certified Huntsmen and Huntresses and there's many beyond what we can take.
Velvet: W-We can't win this battle with the odds against us...
The Doctor: Winning? No. No. This isn't about Winning. It's about standing for what is right. Doing what's best. For what it means to us. Protecting these people and saving them. Where there is Hope, there is a chance. This is where we begin, where we stand... and where we fall. But as long as we show that we are here to protect those we care for, that we are here to get rid of those monsters and the bad guys, there is hope and there is good from that. People right now are losing hope because of all of this and that attracts the Grimms. But we can bring that hope back and it will be a turnaround that our enemies won't see coming. The Grimms are weak and scared when we display no fear, no negative emotions. Hope and Confidence is what kills them but tonight is all about hope. The important thing here and now, whether this day will belong to us or to them, is that we rescue the people and get them out safely.
Cardin: And who exactly are you to give this kind of speech like you know all of this?
The Doctor: I-
Ruby: HE'S THE DOCTOR! THE MAN THE STOPS THE MONSTERS, THAT PUTS FEAR INTO THEM AND HIS ENEMIES...HE IS THE ONCOMING STORM TO EVIL AND THE ONE WHO GIVES HOPE TO THE WORLD. THE DOCTOR OF HOPE AND KINDNESS!
And it was at this certain point that it hit the time lord; He admired as to how his friends saw him. Soon, the crowd of students went from doubt to hopeful in knowing what must be done. Grabbing her Crescent Rose and ready for combat, Ruby stands by the Doctor as well as Dalek Khan. Velvet quickly snaps two photos, one of Ruby and the Doctor before everyone moves out from the arena and onto the battlefield. They all look into what was once a beautiful city now becoming ruins. Seeing people afraid and hopeless, comforting others who are terrified, and Grimms all over the place. They spot General Ironwood who just finished off a Beowulf and approach him.
Ruby: General Ironwood!
Ironwood: Grimm are crawling all over the city. The White Fang's invaded Beacon, and to make matters worse, some... vagabond has seized one of my ships. The worst part is our robotic soldiers have turned against us as if they were hacked! Until we regain command, the skies are out of our control. So I'm going to take it back. You have two choices. Defend your Kingdom and your school... or save yourselves. No one will fault you if you leave.
Sun: We are going to stay and fight!
Coco: We are going to get these people out of here and safe.
Ruby: We can't have them believe that we will lose everything. We have to give them hope that the future is still ours no matter what happens today.
Ironwood could not believe his eyes seeing all the students chanting in positive of their decisions to stay and fight. He was proud and glad that this was their choice until he captured someone with his eyes that he couldn't believe.
Ironwood: William!
The Doctor: It's been a while General Ironwood. You head out to where you are needed. I will lead us to battle and focus on the main priority.
There was no time to catch up or question how he was here, so Ironwood simply gives a salute to the Time Lord which he didn't like as the General heads to his ship and flies off.
The Doctor: ALRIGHT! Remember the main priority, get the people of this city out safe and sound. If you encounter any Grimms or Robotic soldiers, do your best to take them down. If you spot White Fang, fight as well and show them the wrongs of all of this. Once the people are rescued and evacuated, let me handle the rest afterwords, you'll know why I am called the Oncoming Storm. The rest of you get to safety and evacuate with everyone else.
The students all agreed as they head out in different directions beginning their mission. The Time Lord heads to Ruby and Dalek Khan who remained behind to await his steps.
The Doctor: Ruby, find the others and help them out on saving the others and getting out of here.
Ruby: You really came back...
The Doctor: I will not let this world fall...not like Gallifrey. Now GO! Khan?
Dalek Khan: Yes, DOCTOR!
The Doctor: Any oncoming White Fang members, just stun them. And for the Grimms, Exterminate them. You will lead the heavy weapons in this battle.
Dalek Khan: UNDERSTOOD!
The duo went their separate ways leaving the Time lord on his own. He looked around and it brought him bad memories of the Time War. He wasn't going to let that bother him anymore as this time, rather than running away from it, he will do his best to stop it. Setting up his Sonic Screwdriver, he finishes off a few Grimms before marching towards Beacon. There was no victory after tonight but doing the right thing and saving lives is enough. Just for tonight, he was a nobody no more, he was The Doctor once again.
The Doctor: The Doctor...of Hope and Kindness. That's more like it.
Coco: MOVE! MOVE! Velvet, what are you doing?!
Velvet: Transmitting the Doctor's speech. The world needs to see it. People who are scared need to see it. I...was afraid when this was happening but just hearing his words, his mentality, gave me the boost to do something to help. We can get more help if we can share the word around.
While she continued on working the transmission, Cinder and her team watched the city in terror which was a beautiful view to them. Mercury was filming it all LIVE and broadcasting for the world to see. The plan was in perfect motion, and it would be time soon for their next act.
Cinder: Beautiful.
Emerald: It's almost sad...
Cinder: It's horrendous. Focus on the Atlesian Knights.
Mercury: Oh, I'm getting all of it.
Cinder: Good. Continue the broadcast until the end.
She spoke too soon as the broadcast everywhere became static cutting their feed.
Cinder: What did you do?
Mercury: N-Nothing! I was completely cut!
Cinder: BY WHAT?!
Soon, they all heard his voice as they saw the broadcast that was being displayed around. It was no longer her speech or the display of Beacon falling but it was the Doctor's speech and live footage of the students helping innocent lives while fighting back. The world was now watching and listening.
Cinder: No...NOOOOOOOOO!
The Doctor:Winning? No. No. This isn't about Winning. It's about standing for what is right. Doing what's best. For what it means to us. Protecting these people and saving them. Where there is Hope, there is a chance.
Cinder: CUT IT AND CHANGE IT!
Mercury: I...I can't! Someone is blocking ours!
Cinder was now fumed to the core. Once again, the Doctor has taken advantage of this battle and sees many students fighting back and rescuing others to show the world hope. The ground began to shake meaning it's not all down the drain, she wastes no time in leaving for her next act while Mercury and Emerald remain behind now understanding who they have come face to face, and they were hoping they would not encounter him during all this. Back at Beacon, Weiss and Blake, drained and exhausted, have finished off any Grimms coming at them and Atlas robot soldiers as well. It was becoming much more complicated as more would approach until a sudden explosion happens in the sky and noticed a Bullhead about to crash with an armored Beowulf jumping out.
Blake: LOOK OUT!
Both girls move away to cover as the Bullhead crashes causing a massive explosion and a small yet sharp piece of the ship flying through Weiss's arm causing her to scream from the pain. The Beowulf lands on the ground and begins to chase down civilians. Blake goes to check on Weiss and notices her holding her arm.
Weiss: I got hit! *groans* I don't know how bad it is, but I can feel it.
Blake: Let me take a look! I can probably stop the bleeding momentarily.
Weiss nods and removes her hand from her injured arm only for Blake to see nothing but ripped sleeve from her combat dress which confused the Faunus.
Blake: Weiss. There's no wound or scratch at all. Just ripped part from your sleeve.
Weiss: What? *Looks at my arm in confusion* B-But I felt it go through my arm...
Blake: Well, there's no time to talk about it. We have to keep moving. You head straight to campus in case Ruby, or the others are there and need help. I'm going to meet up with Yang and help her out then we all meetup.
Weiss: *nods* Got it! Blake, Be safe.
Blake: You too. *Runs off to the other way*
Weiss looks at her arm one last time before getting back into focus and running to main campus while handling more Grimms. She was right about one thing; she was cut by the sharp piece of the ship as it remained on the ground with blood dripping. As Blake ran past the dining hall, she heard a loud scream from inside and looked in horror as to who caused the scream of an Atlas soldier.
Blake: *trembles in fear* N-No...Adam?...
Adam: *smirks and looks at her* Hello, my darling.
