It was rather dramatic for Lynn to be caught using illegal steroids to help win a game, and got so grounded after being caught. Not only that, but she is also going to be given a lie detector test by Lisa tomorrow morning to see if she was using it for games before this one.
On the upside, everyone (Minus Lynn since she is being punished) is having a nice burger party from the catering in the Burpin Burger
There were so many burgers, fries, chicken tenders and or nuggets to eat, that Loona invited some of and hellhound friends over to the celebration, including Tex, Johnny, and others. This time, Loona's had permission from Lincoln's parents this time. While there were some of Lynn's friends and teammates from her team, the hellhounds had to wear human disguises so the secret of Hell wouldn't be at stake.
"Glad you invited us over, guys." Said Tex before engulfing a whole burger down his throat. "Wish there would be more burger parties often."
"I know. And these fries are tasty." Said Esme.
"Where's Lynn?" Asked Margo, her best friend.
"She... was using steroids to help win the game." Said Lynn Sr.
"What?" Her teammates all exclaimed in shock.
"Again?" Said Margo. "I thought she promised us not to use steroids anymore."
"Apparently, Lynn has so much pride in herself to care sometimes." Rita narrowed her eyes. "You all know how competitive she can be."
"Touché." Said another one of her teammates.
"Yeah there is no one else more competitive than she is." A third teammate on her team pointed.
"So she's grounded for lying to me and Mr Loud." Rita pointed.
"That's right. She has to learn that winning isn't everything." said Lynn Sr.
"And it's a good thing I gave her this syringe of sleeping gas in liquid form, otherwise she would throw a fit." Said Lisa. "Diazepam to be exact."
"How long will she be out of it?" Asked Luna.
"At least until the morning." Lisa pointed. "And I already prepared the polygraph for her."
"Some people literally just never learn" said Lori
"Typical Lynn, dude." Said Luna
"So anything new going on, Lincon?" Asked Kressent.
"Same old stuff." The white-haired boy replied. "School, hanging out with friends, kid stuff.
"Cool." said Kressent
"Doing anything, or big plans?" Said Vlada
"I'm going to hang out at the Triassic Tavern tomorrow."
"Zeezi's place?" Said Crystal. "That's so cool! I didn't know you are friends with her."
"I guess I have a way of making friends." Lincoln modestly stated.
"Heh, I'll say." Loona smirked before drinking some cola. Deep down, she wished it was alcohol, but she knows that the parents of this household do not allow alcoholic beverages. So Loona decided to wait on getting booze until the party is over.
"You're very lucky to go to that kind of place, Lincoln." Said Crystal. "Are you like a guest of honor or something?"
"You can say that."
"Lucky you, Lincoln." Said Serena. "Lucky you. How did you guys meet?"
"one of her friends told her about me. Word of mouth kind of ordeal."
"Right." Said Johnny. "Here, want some more nuggets, Linc? I'm a little full right now."
"Sure Johnny, thanks."
"You're welcome, buddy." The husky hellhound patted his white hair gently.
despite Lynn being grounded, the party was a blast and soon, everyone was full on their food, and the guests went home so that the family cleaned everything up. The disguised hellhounds had to wait for Loona to finish since she had the book to get them all back to Hell so they wouldn't risk exposing the secrecy of Hell to Lynn's friends.
Little did Lincoln know that Clyde was still sitting on the couch. "Clyde? You ok?"
"Oh yeah I'm fine." Said the best friend. "Though I wanna talk to you about something serious."
"What is it?"
Clyde took a breath in before answering: "Octavia's mom made me do a pact to her to never break Octavia's heart. It was like... like that she cursed me."
"What? Cursed you?"
"Yeah, she was chanting some Latin or spiritual words to put the curse on me."
"What kind of curse?"
"I don't know. She wouldn't say. But she said that something bad will happen to me if I break Octavia's heart."
"Come on, you're a very likable person. I doubt you will even break her heart."
"Yeah. How can I possibly break her heart?" Clyde scoffed. "The day that happened would be the day you would get expelled from school."
"I can never see you breaking her heart, Clyde. I've known you since forever, and I know you would never do that to a friend."
"Thanks, Lincoln." The best friend smiled.
When the sisters and parents cleaned up the messes on the floor, table, and couch, Rita asked the goth sister, "so how was King Lucifer, sweetie? What was he like?"
"Honestly, not what I expected." Said Lucy. "I always thought he would be the 'Dark Lord' that I have always thought he would be, but he's a caring father and one that always supports Charlie. Also, he has a fascination or a liking to ducks, geese, and swans."
"Really?" Said Lynn Sr in disbelief. "Why does he like waterfowl so much?"
"He doesn't really know, dad." Lucy stated, "but he says that there is just something about their bills and the kind of noises they make. Lord Lucifer even has a lot of them as pets. Another unusual thing about him is that: he has a liking to rubber ducks too."
"Well it sounds like Satan is a total weirdo." Said Lola before feeling the back of her head slapped by the tomboy sister. "Ow! Lana!"
"Not helping, Lols." Lana sang.
"but he seems like an alright guy. Not completely evil or devoid of any humanity. As it turns out, heaven is a place full of hypocrites." Said Lucy. "Most of the Bible stuff written about Lucifer is nothing but false propaganda just to scare people. And Angels are not very perfect either. He said that many angels are a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites that hate anything to do with demons, and think they are better than everyone else just because of how pure they think they are."
"Ooh, i guess even a saint is a sinner too." Luna said. "And many people thought angels were perfect, dude. It's total hypocrisy."
"That's an understatement." Loona said. "Never trust an angel, Loona. Never trust an angel."
"But still, Lucifer is a pretty decent guy. Many of you might disagree with me, but it's true." Lucy continued. "You would all probably love the Dark Lord if you all meet him."
"I'll take your word for it." said Lana
The following morning, while Lynn was being interrogated by his parents for using steroids from her game yesterday, Lincoln was hangong out with Loona again in Hell, and this time, they were all in Zeezi's place, the Triassic Tavern. Not only Lincoln and Loona, but Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Clyde, Octavia, Tex, Verosika, and Katie were with them as well since Verosika and Katie are already friends with the Dinosaur overlord
"Welcome to my fucking crazy house, peeps." said Zeezi. "Make y'allselves comfortable. And Lincoln, wanna have a free drink? It's on me."
"As long as it's non-alcoholic." said Lincoln. "I'm too young."
"Oh don't ya worry, baby. I'm well-aware of that. I got plenty of those. I'll be right back."
Verosika let out a small sigh and said: "It's good to be back here after a long while."
"Not easy for me to say, little sister, but I agree." said Katie. "I need to make up for lost time with Z-girl."
"So do I." said the pop succubus.
"Wow, i've always heard of it and how badass it looks, but not this badass." Loona said in awe
"You said it, girl." Tex agreed as his tail was wagging. Indeed, this pub was definitely over the top with many things people can ask for when having fun. Zeezi's own hangout place had an arcade, a karaoke lounge, a bowling alley, a few restaurants, a bar, and even an amusement park in a larger room.
"I don't know where to go to first." said Lincoln
"How about the theme park dome?" said Clyde, sounding just as excited as his friend.
"Here you go, Lincoln. Here's a nice root beer for you." said Zeezi, bringing him a rather tall drink of yummy root beer with ice cubes in it. "And since it's a big cup, here is a straw for you and your little buddy to share."
"Thanks." said Lincoln with a smile.
"Anytime, Lincoln anytime." Zeezi gently ruffled Lincoln's white hair playfully.
