When the door to their room opened, Logan could only see the one bed they would have to share. When Luna entered the room, she took a whiff as soon as she entered the space, and she detected a smell that made her growl. Logan suspected his friend might be smelling something disgusting. He didn't want to consider the possibilities.

Luna set her bag down on the bed and opened it. She began looking through it for a fresh towel. Logan stepped behind her while encircling his arms around her waist and kissing her neck. Luna said, "I'm going to take a shower." Logan looked down to see his mate holding a towel and a pair of white, sexy lace underwear in her hand. Logan said, "Don't forget the top. Luna smiled and reached back inside her bag to find a clean top to put on after her bath.

Logan stepped back, turned around, and walked over to his coat to get his cellphone so he could call for dinner. Luna went into the bathroom. Logan started to hear the shower running as he called for Canadian pizza with Canadian bacon, sliced ham, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, and plenty of cheese.

Logan waited for Luna to return from the bathroom while lying on the bed. The pizza delivery guy kept looking at Luna. Logan grabbed the pizza box and pushed $16 in the pizza delivery guy's face, stepped backward, and closed the door in the pizza delivery guy's face.

Logan turned around to notice that Luna was sitting on the bed with the TV remote in hand and pushing the wrong button, trying to turn it on. Seconds later, Logan took the remote from her hands and turned on the TV. A pornographic film started playing the TV, when Luna cocked her head to gaze at the TV and uttered, "Huh!"

Logan changed the channel to sports. Luna turned her head and reached up, taking the pizza box out of his hand, to sit down on the bed in front of her and open the box of pizza. Logan sat down behind Luna, positioned his legs on either side of Luna as he sat behind her.

Logan said, "Shit! I forgot my beer across the room." Luna smiled as she raised her hands. Logan watched as the two bottles of Molson beer floated into the air and started moving across the room to Luna's hands. Logan reached around her, took both bottles out of the air, and said, "Thank you, baby girl" Luna smiled as she reached down for a sliced of pizza. Logan reached around, grabbing her sliced of pizza from her hands. Luna whimpered. Logan said, "The alpha always eats first." When Luna reached back down taking new piece of pizza and started eating and watching game.

After some time, Logan looked down to see his young mate that was curled up with her head on his chest, his strong arms encircling her. His back was leaning against the headboard as he watched the game. He looked over at the clock and noticed it was around ten at night. Logan thought his baby had an interesting day that would probably exhaust anyone.

Logan would soon leave their room to discover the reason why her own father wanted to turn his daughter into a weapon for William Stryker. Logan carefully shifted his jungle girl to the side of the bed, kissing her head, slowly turning around, and putting his feet on the floor. Logan reached down, putting his boots back on, before standing and walking over to the chair to get his jacket.

After an hour on the road, Logan found Mr. Howlett in Laughlin City and asked him why he was going her to William Stryker and turn her into a weapon for him to use. Logan entered again. Amelia began to inhale the air and scan the area for Mr. Howlett. When the elderly bartender approached Logan and said, "I need to speak to you about my granddaughter Luna Bella Howlett," Logan nodded and escorted him upstairs to the hallway so they could speak privately without being overheard.

To return to the Eagle Inn, Logan sped up his driving. He took about 45 minutes to get back to the Eagle Inn. Logan discover four police vehicles were waiting outside the Eagle Inn when Logan arrived at the parking lot.

Logan looked over at hotel room and noticing a few police officers were waiting outside the hotel room they had reserved for the night. One male officer said, "Three dead male bodies were found in the room, and he overheard some police talking about them. A female officer said, "There are bullet holes in the walls, the window, the floor, the bed, and the ceiling, which slutter house and the room looks like they used it like killing the floor."

Logan noticed that the officers had avoided mentioning anything about Luna. He asked himself, "Could she escape from them?"

When the passage door opened, two bags were thrown inside that hit Logan, and soon Luna climbed inside the cab of the truck. Luna was holding her right side, where she had been shot by one of the reavers. She closed the door and said, "Drive!" The scent of blood filled the cab of the truck, which made Logan turn his head to notice that Luna's head was against the dashboard and she was holding her right side.

Without showing any concern for them, Logan drove the truck out of the parking lot after realizing that his mate was hurt in a surprise attack on the room. Logan asked, "What happened?" Luna said, "They arrived not long after you left me in our hotel room." "They stormed inside after breaking down the door and received the shock of their fucking lives. They learn that I respond by fighting." "I killed three of them while the other two fired at the room and me." They attempted to kidnap me on William Stryker's orders while they were waiting to kill you."

We should hunt them down and kill them for hurting our mate.
