After school, Alex was leaving from the front of the school to go back home. On his way back home, he saw that Paige was walking off into the distance. He decided to follow her. When he had finally caught up with her, they both looked at each other.
"Hi.",said Alex .
"Hi." ,answered Paige back.
The two of them continued walking home. While the two of them were walking home, Alex moved closer Paige.
"So, um, do you want to come to my house? My mom and grandmother are making dinner." ,said Alex.
"Oh..uh.no, I can't this time, sorry.",said Paige.
Alex froze. He couldn't believe what she had just said. Paige continued to walk off into the distance without looking back. Alex just stood there.
