The high, windswept plateau stretches in every direction almost as far as the eye can see, surrounded by towering, snow-clad mountains. It's a bleak place, thin soil over solid rock, supporting scraggly tufts of something resembling grass, and a few stunted plants eking out a precarious living in whatever crevices they were lucky enough to take root in.

"Not the most appealing place to land, is it?" Clara comments, kicking at a brownish tussock and pulling her coat tightly around herself against the bitter wind.

"We lost power and almost crashed, and you're complaining about the scenery?" the Doctor grumbles.
