"Back off, Dash!" Charlie shouted, growing annoyed.
"Come on, I'm way better than Freaky-Fenton! Or that Moth girl." Dash said, still trying to get her number.
"First off, Danny is my friend. Not a freak. Second, Vaggie is my girlfriend. I don't care if they aren't rich." Charlie told him, glaring.
"You know what Fenton did before, right?" Dash asked.
"Yes! Because you force him to! Do you think that I would forget that?" Charlie asked.
"Come on, I'm sure we can work something out," Dash said, going to place his hand around her shoulders.
Only for another hand to reach out and grab it, Dash cried out as it was twisted behind him by none other than Vaggie, Charlie's girlfriend.
"Keep your hands off of my girl!" She said, twisting harder.
"OWOWOWOW!" Dash cried before Charlie made her stop.
Vaggie pushed Dash away before turning to Charlie.
"Are you okay, babe?" She asked, worried.
"I'm fine, Vaggie," Charlie said as she touched Vaggie's cheek.
"Was that moron trying to get your number again?" Vaggie asked.
"Fifth time this week. And he was trying to compare himself to Danny." Charlie said, shaking his head.
"How can you be friends with him? Yes, I know you saved his life, but Charlie, he's..." Vaggie asked.
"Vaggie, I told you. Danny is different from most other guys. Thanks to Dash and his groups, Danny almost fallen into a path he shouldn't be on. We helped him because it wasn't right." Charlie told her.
Vaggie sighs. It wasn't that she hated Danny. She just didn't trust him. And yet, she became friends with Jazz Fenton, his sister.
"Look, I just don't trust him. I know he's not a bad person. Jazz tells me that all the time, but I can't shake this feeling about him." Vaggie said.
"HA! See, even she gets it!" Dash said, only for both girls to glare at him.
"Vaggie, Danny is my friend. He's part of the group we formed. I don't know why you think there's something wrong with him, but please, give him a chance." Charlie said, making Vaggie sigh.
Charlie then heard her phone buzz and pulled it out. She saw a text from Danny.
DF: Hey, my parents finally finished the portal. It doesn't work, but pretty cool right?
Charlie looked at the picture and was surprised to see how big it was. Bigger than she thought. She quickly texted back.
CM: Wow! It looks awesome! Shame it didn't work, but congrats to your parents finally making their portal.
She soon saw a text from Emily as well.
ES: I don't know. I still don't like the idea of messing with the dead, but I'm glad to hear that your parents finally made their portal.
DF: Don't worry, Em. I'm sure nothing bad would happen.
CM: Yeah. Besides, it's an awesome portal, right?"
ES: Well, it does look cool.
Vaggie looked at the portal and was impressed with it.
"Wow, not bad." She said, making Charlie smile.
CM: Vaggie just saw it. She thinks it's cool too.
"Charlie!" Vaggie said, shocked.
DF: Oh! That reminds me. Charlie, Jazz wanted you to remind Vaggie about their test coming up. I know you rather spend time with her, but you know my sister. Trying to act like an adult in a teenage body.
Charlie frowns before turning to Vaggie.
"I swear, Jazz really needs to accept that she doesn't need to act like an adult all the time," Vaggie said, shaking her head.
"I'm going to head home. See you later?" Charlie asked.
"Sure thing, babe," Vaggie said, kissing her cheek.
With a wave, and ignoring Dash again, Charlie went home, texting Danny to let him know that Vaggie was on her way to meet Jazz.
With Emily,
Emily sighed as she saw Sera working away on her job. She was way too busy to notice she was talking to her friends. It has even gotten to a point where she even started to think that Sera doesn't even notice her whenever she enters a room. Emily started to walk towards her room, seeing the picture of the portal that Danny's parents made. She had mixed feelings about it. She was happy that his parents had finally completed their long-life dream, but was also unsure of having a portal to the realm of the dead.
Still, Emily knew better than to try and stop Danny's parents. She did tell them her worries whenever they met. Danny's Father, Jack, always went on about finally putting Fenton Works on the map when the portal finally turned on. And he did want to make sure his family was safe from any ghost that would hurt them. Danny's mother, Maddie, was a bit more on the careful side. She would have to remind Jack a few things every time he got too excited and wanted to start the portal up.
However, there was one thing that Emily highly disagreed with. Jack's and Maddie's belief that all ghosts are evil. Their notes went on and on about how Ghosts are mindless beings that have no feelings and are no longer human. Even Charlie disagreed with that. Danny wasn't into ghosts like his parents, and even he would refuse to believe in a calm like that.
Something caught her eye. She turned and walked over to a room she didn't remember seeing there before. She pushes open the door and steps inside. She could feel something familiar about this room. She spotted something shining for a second and noticed it was coming from the back of the room. She walked over to it and moved a few boxes.
"What's this?" Emily asked, seeing a headband with an eye above it.
Emily picked up and looked at the headband, blinking. The eye blinked as well, causing her to freak out a bit.
"Whoa!" She said, shocked.
And yet, she couldn't shake something familiar about it. Emily places the headband on her head and feels something running through her body. The headband floated off her head and turned into a Halo. Emily felt something appear out of her back and saw six wings. She also saw that she was back in her dress, with fingerless elbow gloves. It happened so quickly, Emily barely noticed what happened.
She got up and saw a mirror. Looking into it, she saw that her skin turned a bit darker with white dots on her cheeks and where her nose should have been. She also noticed that her eyes were fully blue, and her hair was now longer and white.
"What in the name of God?!" She asked.
Emily felt her phone buzz before pulling it out.
DF: Charlie, Emily! Come quickly! I need your help!
Emily grew very worried. Something must have happened with his parent's portal. Without even noticing, Emily's new wings opened and she flew out of her home, seemingly phasing through the ceiling.
With Charlie,
After returning home, Charlie found a note from her dad, saying he was out to get some food. They were running low on apples. Charlie giggles, knowing apples were father's favorite. Charlie then turned to her family picture, the one that had her, her father, and her mother. She placed a hand on the image of her mother, feeling really sad. She was happy with her new friends, and she loved her dad very much. But it just felt empty without her mother with them.
"Lilith." She said, knowing her mother's name.
Suddenly, the picture shook and Charlie stepped back. She was surprised to see it open and noticed a few things behind it. Nothing too weird, an odd book, some bones, and an...apple wrapped by a snake? Charlie picked up the apple, looking at it. She had never seen this before. She looked it over before the snake turned its head to her.
"Daughter of Morningstar. Bite into the apple. Receive your birthright."
Charlie blinks. Her birthright? She shrugs, not really getting it. She bit into the apple before she felt something run through her body. Charlie dropped the apple, not seeing the bite disappear as she felt her body warm up. Charlie's shadow showed her body bend in odd ways, making very bone-cracking sounds that sounded like Charlie was being twisted in very painful ways. Finally, her shadow showed an image of a creature with two horns, and long tail, and two glowing red eyes.
Charlie panted, surprised she was still in one piece. She didn't even notice her shadow had changed back to normal as she rubbed her head. However, she quickly notices she is wearing her suit again, knowing she took it off for the day. And she noticed she had four fingers instead of five. Charlie ran to a mirror and saw a new girl looking back at her.
Her skin was white and her long blonde hair was tied up twice. She even notices two big red dots on her cheeks. She saw that her teeth gained two fangs, and her nose was small and black. Her eyes even turned fully red with yellow around them.
"What happened to me?" She asked, looking over herself.
She heard her phone go off before taking it out.
DF: Charlie, Emily! Come quickly! I need your help!
Charlie was shocked. The only time Danny texted like that was went something bad happened. Not even caring how she looked right now, Charlie ran out of the castle, not seeing the apple disappear right into her pocket.
With Danny, ten minutes earlier,
Danny reads both Charlie's and Emily's texts and nods. He understood their reasons and knew that Emily was unsure of the portal. Still, Danny couldn't shake how amazing the portal was. Yeah, he wasn't into Ghosts like his parents, but how many teens would say they have a portal in the basement that leads to the Ghost Zone?
"Still can't believe Mom and Dad built this. I'm glad it's not on right now, but..." Danny said to himself.
He then remembered how upset his parents looked when it didn't turn on. Danny looked at the portal before sighing.
"I can't believe I'm doing this." He said, grabbing the white and black jumpsuit that his Dad made him.
He notices his father's face and rolls his eyes. He pulled it off, wondering why his father was trying to be the face of everything when his mom made most of the inventions.
Danny took a breath before walking into the portal. It was a lot bigger and deeper than he thought. He kept walking, questioning himself as he took each step. Dany finally went to place his hand on the wall, wanting to make sure he didn't get lost.
"Yeah, like I'll get lost in a straight line." Danny laughs to himself.
However, he heard the portal start up and Danny looked shocked. He removed his hand and saw that he hit the "ON" button. Danny had no time to think before the portal turned on with him inside it.
Danny screams as he feels his body being bombed with electricity and ectoplasm. After what felt like hours, Danny stepped out of the portal and passed out.
Ten minutes later,
Danny groans as he notices he was back in the lab. He sat up, feeling his head hurt. He rubs it before noticing the white glove on his hand. Danny stood up and ran towards the bathroom, his parents were actually out for a while. He looked into the bathroom mirror and saw a new person. His jumpsuit switched colors, now mostly black and the gloves, boots, collar, and belt were white. The biggest change was his eyes and hair. Instead of the blue eyes, they were glowing green. And instead of raven black hair, he now had snow-white hair.
Danny backed away, scared. He quickly pulled out his phone and texted Charlie and Emily.
DF: Charlie, Emily! Come quickly! I need your help!
And that's all for this chapter. I would like to thank silverstudent for their idea of giving Emily an artifact that would give her angels powers. Though, Emily is born human, much like Charlie. Speaking of which, the artifact that Charlie found is supposed to be tied to the Legend of Lucifer. The apple being the one thing that Adam and Eve ate, and the snake is the one that tricked Eve into eating the apple. Much like how Charlie was tricked into biting the apple. I also tried my best to make it look like Charlie went through some painful ways as she was getting her powers, but I'm not good with horror stuff as I mentioned before. And the only change with Danny is that he went inside the portal without anyone telling him to. Now that all three have their powers, it's time for them to meet up and discover what they can do so far.
Also, to answer any questions from the earlier chapters. The reason Charlie and Emily didn't have any casual clothes was because I couldn't think of any. Which is why I had them wear their normal clothes we see them in. And one more thing about Charlie's last name. I know her last name was Magne in the plot, but I like Morningstar a lot more. I know that her name, Charlie Magne, was a play on Charlemagne, but again, I like Charlie Morningstar a lot more.
Also, what is with everyone thinking that Emily is going to become a fallen angel in Season Two? Charlie was just proved right, and since Emily is on her side, I don't see why Emily would just turn into a demon and be sent to hell. That kind of messes with her plans to try to help Heaven see the real truth.
