The campus at CHS was full of students in a festive mood. And the reason was a certain holiday right around the corner. Izzy walked alongside Roll and Mario as they headed to their school's entrance. Roll reached into her backpack, pulled out a mini calendar, and ripped the page off as it had a giant number 2 on it.

"Only 48 hours till Valentine's Day," said the girl.

"Actually, it's only 40 hours, 46 minutes, and 37 and a half seconds," clarified Izzy as she looked at the watch on her wrist that she made from paper.

"Yeah, don't remind me," groaned Mario as he walked ahead of his sister and their eccentric friend.

Upon entering, Mario was immediately met with the many decorations that littered the school halls.

"Hey, did you get a Valentine yet?"

"I got four."

"Check me out."

"I hope to get 16 this year."

The boy was walking past several students as he tried to drown out all the talk he was hearing about Valentine's Day. The many colors of red, white, and pink didn't help, as he could feel his eyes starting to burn from looking at them so much. He let out a distasteful groan before he got confetti thrown in his face as he coughed. A girl was throwing around confetti as she ran along the halls, spreading the holiday love, to which Mario stood with a grimaced expression.

"Vamos, Mario. You can't honestly tell me you forgot about Valentine's Day?" Roll said to her older brother.

"It's only the biggest holiday of the year," said Izzy. "Well, second only to my birthday."

"I'm…" Mario tried to speak, but Izzy threw some red confetti in his face as he coughed.

The boy was about to yell at Izzy to stop when she threw some red glitter from her pocket as well; however, she didn't pay attention behind her as when she stuck her arm out to throw some glitter, it smacked someone nearby holding a heart-shaped cake that was covered in red frosting. The cake flew, splattering all over Mario's face before dropping to the floor.

"Oops," said Izzy.

Mario's eyes peered through the frosting on his face as he gritted his teeth; some confetti and glitter were in it. The boy growled as he looked at Izzy with burning passion. He let out spit to get some of the stuff stuck in his teeth out.

"I'm not the biggest fan," said Mario, gritting his teeth while looking at Izzy.

Roll stuck a finger to wipe some frosting off her brother's face before tasting it.

"Mmm. Deliciso," said the girl as she found the cake to be tasting.

At lunch, the three friends reconvened as they sat at a table. However, this time, they were joined by Sunny as the girl was also in the festive mood for the upcoming holiday. As they were unpacking their lunch, Izzy was shown drinking some kind of drink; when she sipped it, it made bubbling hearts appear on the liquid's surface before floating into the air.

"Ahh. I just love this heart-flavored juice. It tastes like… like… what I always imagined love would be." said the girl.

"Sheesh!" said Mario with an eye roll.

"You want one of these heart-shaped cookies, big bro?" asked Roll as she offered her elder sibling a cookie that was in the shape of a heart and had white sprinkles on the red icing.

"According to the box, the taste of Valentine's Day is guaranteed in every bite," said Sunny as she read the label of the box that Roll had.

"I think I'm gonna gag, hermana," said Mario as he rejected his little sister's offer.

Roll shrugged her shoulders before taking a bite. Sunny reached into the box and took one for herself, eating it in one bite. After swallowing, the girl felt a tingly feeling all over her body as she hugged herself.

"Mmm, cookies," said Sunny as they were beyond tasting.

Mario rolled his eyes once more as his phone went off. He checked to see that his mother had left him a message.

"My little handsome boy, have a good lunch and Happy Valentine's Day. With tons of love from your mother." read Mario.

Izzy and Sunny couldn't help but cackle as they put their hands over their mouths to silence their laughter.

"Please, stop. Giggles are bad for my digestion," said Mario as he unwrapped his sandwich.

"So, what would be your perfect Valentine's Day?" asked Roll to Sunny, hoping maybe it had something to do with a certain law-biding boy.

"Mmm," said Sunny as she began to think about it.

For the girl, she entered her mind and began to daydream of her perfect Valentine's Day, which consisted of being with friends and spreading love for everyone.

"I'll give you a hint, it has a friendship and unity theme," said Sunny as she finished daydreaming.

Mario expressed disdain as he gagged a bit with his tongue out.

"What about you, Izzy?"

"You know, mm," said the girl as she began to think about it.

The girl daydreamed as nothing but fireworks, hearts, and laughter were heard as she was shown daydreaming, but none was revealed.

"You know, the usual," said Izzy as she often spoke of her dreams to her friends.

"Of course," said Roll, as she was a fool to ask Izzy, of all people, that question.

"What about you, Mario?" asked Sunny, wanting to get the boy's perspective.

"Nope, no way!" stated the boy, as he wasn't going to take part in this.

"What's wrong, Mario? It's like you don't like Valentine's Day," said Sunny as she appeared beside the boy's side.

"Yeah. Turn that frown upside… into a heart," said Izzy as she had her fingers on the boy's mouth.

"Actually, I don't think that's possible, Izzy," stated Roll.

Mario growled as he didn't like Izzy touching his face. Izzy realized her mistake, immediately removed her fingers, and smiled nervously while scooting away from her friend, who wanted to sock her in her head.

"Sorry," apologized Izzy, knowing Mario didn't like it when she overstepped her boundaries involving him.

Mario glared at Izzy as he brought his sandwich to his mouth and chomped on it, still keeping his eye on the girl before looking forward. The boy wanted to eat his lunch silently and not listen to any more talks about Valentine's Day. However, it didn't last long as someone made their presence known.

"Hey, everyone!" said Pipp in a sing-like voice as she appeared with tons of Valentine's Day cards in her satchel and passed them out. "Don't forget to vote for this year's Cupid as the school's official Valentine's Day messenger." She handed one out to each of her friends to put down who they wanted to vote. "And speaking of Valentine's Day, handsome…" stated the popstar as she snuck beside her crush and planted a quick kiss on his cheek before pulling back and batting her eyelashes at the boy.

Mario merely ignored Pipp's advances and nearly spat out his food.

"Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the rainbow," said Pipp.

"Come on, Mario. What's wrong? There's no reason to be such a grump!" said Sunny to her friend regarding this special holiday to show love.

Mario swallowed his food before speaking, "It's just some silly greeting card holiday!"

The three girls, minus Roll, all gasped after hearing Mario say that. Izzy nearly fainted as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Mario stood on the table's bench as he spoke out throughout the lunch room to the other students as they heard him.

"It's not a real holiday like Christmas or Dia de los Muertos!" expressed the boy.

The other students all gasped when they heard him say that.

"We give each other Valentine's because they feel like they have to. Not because they want to!" stated Mario before taking a bite of his sandwich. He then felt something as he stuck his fingers into his mouth and pulled out a slip of paper that seemed to be inside his sandwich.

"Happy two days before Valentine's Day. Love your beautiful, smart, adorable baby sister who you cannot live without, and she's probably sitting right next to you smiling," recited Roll as she knew by heart what she wrote in the message she gave to her brother. She ceased her big smile and waved at her older sibling as Mario groaned, seeing that his sister was proving his point.

Later that day, an assembly was held, and Vice-Principal Luna appeared before a podium. Students were chattering about as the woman tapped the microphone; it made a screeching sound; the students all covered their eyes to avoid damaging their eardrums.

"I just wanted to announce that everyone can go home early today," said Luna.

The students went into a roar as they liked their Vice-Principal for saying that. A few students immediately booked it for the exit.

"I'm only kidding," said Luna as she put on a serious demeanor.

The students all halted as they groaned. But soon changed their tune as they saw Luna's expression and quickly returned to their seats to avoid the woman handing out detention.

"But now that I have your attention. It's time to announce who will be this year's Valentine's Day messenger?" said Luna as she held an envelope.

"Please, no. Please, no," said Mario as he covered his ears, not wanting to hear it.

"Please be me, please be me, please be me!" shouted Izzy like a hyperactive dog with her tongue out, wanting so badly to be it.

All the students leaned in as Luna opened the envelope and pulled the recipient's name out to read. At that moment, time seemed to slow down as the name was called.

"Mar…"

"Que mala suerte!" said Roll, as she already knew.

"...io," finished Luna in slow motion.

A loud thud was heard as everyone turned to see Mario had fallen to the floor with his chair knocked over.

"Mario, Mario! Big bro!" called out Roll.

"Huh? Wha? Was I just dreaming?" asked the boy as he came to his senses and saw his sister's face before him.

"Um, no, you weren't. You, uh, you just passed out," said the girl to her big brother.

It showed Mario on the floor with Roll by his side. Several other students were near him, looking at him as he saw Luna approach him. Luna was holding a pair of white wings and a sweater with just a heart. The Vice-Principal was holding the boy's costume that he had to wear when delivering all the Valentine's Day cards throughout the whole school tomorrow.

"NO!" shouted Mario as his worst nightmare was coming true. "Why me?"

"Why you?!" pouted Izzy, wanting to be the messenger.

The next day came as it was the day before Valentine's Day since tomorrow was the weekend. Today was a bad day for a certain someone who'd been ignoring his alarm to get up and just wanted to stay in bed all weekend to forget what happened yesterday. However, it seemed the universe was out to get him as his door opened, and there was his little sister.

"Hey, despierta señor cupido! Rise and shine!" said Roll as she entered her brother's room.

"Me siento mal! I think I have that one disease where I'm so sick I can't go to school," said Mario.

"Come on, bro. Even Mom stopped believing our excuses when we were four and five years old. Besides, Cupid can't get sick on Valentine's Day. It's not possible." said Roll as she tried to pull her brother from beneath his covers.

The girl tried, but the boy refused. Eventually, a tug-of-war happened as Roll pulled and got her brother out but sent both of them flying and crashing into a pile of clothes. When they popped their heads out, Mario was wearing the makeshift wings of the costume he had to wear.

"See. You look good with wings. Like a pegasus." said Roll as she complimented her brother's appearance.

"Yeah, well, that glue stick on your forehead makes you look like a unicorn," remarked Mario as Roll took the thing off her forehead.

"Well, I'd rather have magic over flying. But that's not the point. The point is that you get to make everybody happy by delivering Valentine's Day cards. Mom always says if you brighten up someone's day, you'll feel good." stated Roll.

Mario groaned as he hated hearing one of his mom's friendship lessons she always told them when they were young. Eventually, the two siblings made their way to school and found Pipp along with Izzy and Sunny as they were walking in the hall.

"You look cute in that outfit, Mario," said Sunny, trying to lift her friend's spirits, but it didn't seem to work.

"I concur. Though cute, might not be it. Maybe hot." said Pipp as she admired Mario's costume.

"It should have been me!" stated Izzy, as she wanted to be the messenger.

"Izzy, today's your lucky day!" said Mario as he got on his knees in front of the girl.

"Hey!" shouted Pipp as she didn't like Mario grabbing Izzy's hand and getting down on his knees, given what holiday it was.

"Izzy, I know I call you stupid a lot. But I'm willing to put that behind us if you help me. Please. Rescue me. I promise not to get annoyed when you invade my personal space. Plus, you get to make people happy. Please." begged Mario.

"Really?" said Izzy as she was more than happy to help. "Mario, I accept your proposal."

"Proposal?!" shouted Pipp as she gritted her teeth.

"Sorry, Izzy. That doesn't work. The rules are my brother's not allowed to switch." said Roll as she removed his hand from Izzy's

"Roll!" shouted Mario as he grabbed his little sister's shoulders.

"Sorry, bro. But this is for your own good. You'll be fine. See you later, hermano. We're heading to Mane Melody. Love you!" said Roll to her big brother as the girls left.

Pipp glared at Mario as she used her fingers to point from her eyes to his as if to signal she was watching him for that little stunt he pulled with Izzy. Mario sighed as he heard someone clearing their throat from behind him. The boy turned, and there was Luna, who found the boy.

"There you are, Mario. You have a lot to do. Here you go!" said Luna as she pulled out a huge bag full of Valentine's Day cards and dropped them in Mario's arms. "Orders were almost triple what they were last year. Good luck. Oh, and if you see my sister, give her this."

Luna dropped a single card on the top of the bag pile as Mario struggled to hold it.

"Thanks!" said the Vice-Principal as she left.

Mario lost his strength as he dropped the bag on the floor. He managed to get out from under it; he slipped it on his shoulders like his backpack and began to carry the huge bag to do his job. He was barely going to make it to the exit to begin as he could tell carrying the giant thing would be a bad idea for both him and his back. He then spotted something as he came to a halt.

All across campus, many students were doing their own things. Mario was pulling a wagon with the bag of Valentine's Day cards in it as he approached a student hanging upside down on one of the monkey bars.

"Here, happy, you know what," said Mario as he just handed the person the envelope with their name on it and walked away, dragging the wagon behind him.

The boy opened the envelope and read the Valentine's Day card that was made for him as he backflipped off the monkey bars and landed on his feet. He then began to jump around like a monkey as he got some excitement and happiness from getting a card. Mario approached the turnabout as a girl came to a stop when the boy approached her, and he handed her a card.

"Here's another one," said Mario as he already delivered the girl a card before and just moved on.

"Thanks," said the girl as she opened it.

The girl was excited to get one as she began spinning the turnabout quickly. Mario was starting to hold out the cards for the students on the turnabout as he quickly gave them to them before they all jumped out and read their cards before expressing happy sounds. Sprout was shown at the bottom of a slide with an unhappy look with a hand under his chin; Mario was shown approaching the boy as he had a nonchalant expression, holding out a card.

"Somehow," was all Mario said as he gave the card to Sprout.

Sprout opened the card and read it before quickly going backward up the slide as he stood at the top.

"Yeah!" said the boy as he shouted at the top of his lungs.

"I'll give your brother credit. He's doing a good job," said Sunny as the girls all saw Mario going about campus, delivering the cards.

"Yeah. It's like he's an expert on love," said Izzy.

"Yeah, sure," responded Roll, not fully buying the girl's claim.

In Mane Melody, Jazz was doing someone's hair, but while she was smiling with a blush on her cheeks, her eyes started sparkling, which Pipp noticed as she twirled behind Jazz. "I think someone's got a cruuuuush~!" She sanged with sparkles in her eyes while Jazz flinched.

Jazz turned to Pipp with a nervous smile while sweating a bit. "Who, me? Ha! It's not like that!" She denied.

"Uh, Jazz." Roll's voice spoke up, which caused Jazz to look and see the girl raise a brow while sitting in her seat and pointing at Sunny. "I think it's obvious." The girl said as Sunny's hair was in the shape of a heart.

"Aah!" Jazz called with a yelp as she tossed her brush away, giving a sheepish smirk at Sunny for her mistake while Sunny looked on in confusion.

Jazz gave a sheepish chuckle while Pipp kept watching with sparkles in her eyes with a smile. Jazz then looked through Sunny's heart-shaped hair as she blushed again, with sparkles in her eyes at what she saw.

Roll raised a brow at Jazz as she got up. "What are you even looking at, Jazz?" She asked with a brow before looking through Sunny's hair, where Jazz's gaze was, and her eyes widened in surprise.

Seeing through Sunny's heart-shaped hair was Rocky, who was spraying someone's hair with hair spray; he gave a small smile while Jazz kept looking at him as heart-shapes formed in her eyes as she gave a warm smile with a hand to her cheeks.

"Oh, I see," Roll said with a smirk at Jazz.

Pipp then came up next to Jazz with a smirk as she scoffed. "Sure you don't, Jazz!" She teased with a wink while Jazz looked embarrassed.

A little bit later, Jazz was puffing Posey's face as her cheeks had heart-shaped makeup while Jazz was still blushing with sparkles in her eyes.

(Jazz)
Let me tell you 'bout the sweetest guy
Every time I see him, I get butterflies

Jazz sang while looking at Rocky, who was still hair-spraying to an elderly woman while feeling entranced by him, but she was so distracted by Rocky that she didn't notice she puffed Posey too much until she noticed it and saw Posey stuck in a heart-shaped powered, which said girl glared at Jazz hatefully while the stylish flinched.

He's got a certain charm, he's got a certain somethin'

A little bit later, Jazz and Rocky are now doing Roll and Izzy's fingernails together by giving their signature manicures, with Rocky doing Rolls while Jazz was doing Izzy's.

And when we are together, I don't worry 'bout nothin'

While doing their nails, Jazz looked at Rocky, visioning hearts around him while Rocky kept his smile. Jazz looked at him warmly with a blush and heart in her eyes while she kept singing.

The way he walks into work, the way he swings his hair
The way he sparkles makes me go insane

Jazz was so distracted by Rocky that she didn't notice that she painted Rocky's face with a wink on Izzy's nails, which made Jazz's eyes widen in panic. Izzy was about to look at her nails, but Jazz quickly pushed her hands back down; however, Izzy already saw them as she teased Jazz, who looked embarrassed.

I gotta get closer, show the love that I'm bringin'
I can barely contain it, yeah, my heart is singin'

Jazz was then brushing a woman's hair before Rocky walked past her. Jazz watched Rocky go as she blushed again and brushed harder on the woman's hair. But the second she turned around, she saw that she accidentally made a hair sculpture of Rocky.

I just wanna be your number-one pal

Jazz quickly brushed down the woman's hair to get rid of the Rocky sculpture while giving a sheepish look, hoping that Rocky didn't see that.

Near closing time, Jazz used lipstick on a mirror before Rocky spoke up. "All right, gorgeous people! See you next time!" Rocky called from the door as Jazz watched him with a smile and blush on her cheeks.

"Bye, Rocky!" Jazz waved to him, still blushing while still holding the lipstick.

"Awwwww!" Pipp called with sparkles in her eyes as she flew around Jazz before landing beside her and hugged her. "Jazz likes Rocky!" She sang with a smile.

"Yeah, she sure does," Roll said while pointing to the mirror, which Jazz quickly turned as she saw that she drew a picture of her and Rocky hugging each other while Jazz smiled widely at him with hearts around them. "Nice drawing, Jazz." She commented.

Jazz groaned as she blushed in embarrassment; she quickly grabbed a rag and tried to wipe the picture away. She did, but then it was replaced with a big heart, which made Jazz blush even harder as Pipp, Sunny, and Roll giggled at her reaction.

"UGH!" Jazz groaned, which made the girls flinch and hug each other as they leaned back from Jazz's outburst; Jazz calmed down as she spoke up. "Okay, okay." She said in defeat as she walked up to them as she sighed. "Thing is... I have these two tickets for the Nails and Hair Expo, and I really wanna ask Rocky to go with me." She explained to the rest of the group as Jazz brought out two tickets while giving another blush.

Pipp then squeals in excitement with giggles. "So romantic!" She exclaimed as she leaned back.

"But we've never really hung out outside of Mane Melody before." Jazz pointed out as Pipp got up as she and the others listened. "How do I ask him? What do I say?!" She cried out nervously.

"Just be direct," Sunny advised with a smile. "I'm sure he'd love to go with you."

"But be romantic," Pipp added as she came next to Jazz with her hands together.

Izzy then appeared over them with her head upside-down. "What about a dance?" She suggested with a smile.

Sunny, Izzy, and Pipp kept chattering about their ideas, but it made Jazz feel uncomfortable and overwhelmed, which Roll and Hitch noticed as they were about to speak up. However, Pipp got an idea in her head.

"I know! We just need to build up your confidence!" Pipp called as she spun in place. "We can totally help you practice!" She cheered as she then nuzzled Jazz on her cheeks.

"Looks like we have a love class to teach," Roll commented in surprise.

"You said it," Hitch said in agreement.

Before leaving the saloon, Roll pulled her phone out and sent a text before following the others. A little bit later at the Xyz dorm, Izzy and Pipp guided Jazz while Pipp was covering her eyes with her hands while Izzy was pulling something into place.

"Ta-daaa! Meet your date for the evening!" Pipp called as she uncovered Jazz's eyes for her to see.

In front of them was a junk sculpture that Izzy made and considered a friend called Senor Butterscotch; however, the junk figure was dressed up to try and look like Rocky while being levitated by some strings that Izzy held.. "Howdy! I'm Señor Rocky!" Izzy called in a deep voice while moving him around.

Jazz saw this as she gave a nervous look. "Now you can practice asking him for the Expo!" Pipp said with a smile.

Jazz continued to look at Senor Rocky while giving an uncertain smile. "O...kay…" She said slowly as her left eye twitched, feeling uneasy about this.

It was then Sunny's turn to teach Jazz how to ask Rocky. "Just be direct. Smile!" She advised her with a smile.

"Just try and be yourself, Jazz. Don't force it." Roll added with a calm smile.

On the table that was set up Izzy placed some spaghetti on the table while Jazz looked at Senor Rocky nervously. "Hey, Rocky. I was just wondering if, um…" She started as she brought out some flowers, but some pollen got into her nose, and she felt like sneezing. "Ah... Ah... Achoo!" She sneezed.

Jazz's sneeze sent some of the petals flying, which also knocked the spaghetti into Senor Rocky's face; Izzy gave a sheepish smile as she tried to wipe it off with a rag.

It was then Zipp's turn while Jazz was on a skateboard wearing sunglasses and a jacket with Zipp skated beside her. "Just play it cool. Act casual." She explained naturally, using her expertise when it came to dating boys.

Jazz then saw Senor Rocky next to her as she spoke. "Oh, hey." She said with a cool tone. "I was just wondering if you—" She was about to ask, but she didn't see she was about to go over a ramp as she screamed as the rest of the group watched her go down. "Ugh! Ow! OWWW!" The group cringed when Jazz hit something hard.

"Oooh, that had to hurt." Roll cringed before looking at Zipp. "Maybe you should tell her to be aware of her surroundings instead of just acting cool while on a skateboard or any wheeled things." She advised.

Zipp gave a sheepish chuckle. "Hehehe, oops." She said.

And then, at Mane Melody, they were on stage with Jazz holding a rose in her mouth and a banjo around her. "Uh." Pipp started as she blew a raspberry and spun around Jazz. "Obviously, you can't just ask him!" She said with a chuckle. "You have to give it some drama!" She said.

"Were you going to do this to ask my brother out?" asked Roll, which Pipp ignored.

Jazz then dropped the rose from her mouth. She then began to play the banjo as she started singing.

(Jazz)
I just wanna be your number-one pal

The banjo then broke the string, which startled Jazz from that. Pipp was oblivious since she was still smiling as she pulled a lever. "Yeah!" She cheered as balloons with Rocky's face on them started falling from the ceiling while Jazz tried to keep playing while she sang.

(Jazz)
I just wanna be your number-one pal

Pipp then bounced around with a laugh. "Uh-huh! Oh, yeah!" She cheered as she kept moving about.

(Jazz)
I just wanna be who you wanna love, yeah
I just wanna be your number-one, your number-one

Jazz sang as she was getting hit by the balloons while one of them popped, which startled her as she then hopped away and out of Mane Melody.

The group soon found themselves back in Jazz's dorm room. She felt even more nervous than before as Pipp and the others all huddled around her. They were discussing Jazz's progress when Roll received a message on her phone; the girl looked at her device to read what was sent.

"Eso es!" said the girl before approaching Hitch and tapping his shoulder, "Hey, Hitch. I gotta dip really quick for something. Can you keep me posted on what happens?"

"Uh, sure," said the boy to his friend.

"Great. I won't be long," said Roll as she left to take care of her business.

Hitch scratched his head as he wondered where the girl was going. However, his attention was brought back to the matter at hand when Pipp spoke up.

"I bet you're feeling suuuuuper confident now, huh?" Pipp asked with a smile when she came up to Jazz.

Izzy then had Senor Rocky as she moved him around. "Ah, I'm so impressed!" She said in a deep voice.

"Ugh!" Jazz exclaimed as she flopped to the table while the Mane 5 looked at her in surprise. "There's no way I can do this!" She exclaimed hopelessly.

"Aw, but you're doing so great," Izzy said with a cheerful smile.

"All we need is a little bit more practice," Pipp said with a smile. "I'm sure you're gonna get this perfect." She assured her as she went to another lever. "From the top, people!" She exclaimed as she pulled the lever, and more Rocky balloons came falling down.

Mario was laid out in the wagon he used to carry all the card messages. The boy had managed to finish delivering all of the Valentine's Day cards as he was exhausted. He lay spread out in the wagon with his limbs sticking out as pulling the wagon was the person who lent him.

"Last stop!" said Dahlia as she brought the boy to his dorm.

"Thanks, Dahlia," groaned Mario as he exited the wagon. He pulled the sweater up to reveal a Valentine's Day card. "Here you go." The boy flicked the card from his fingertips to the girl, who caught it and opened it.

"Thanks, Mario," said the girl with a smile as she turned, dragging her wagon behind her as she read what her Valentine's Day card said.

"Finally! I'm done with this shit!" expressed the boy as he was relieved that his job was done. He entered his dorm building and tossed the outfit into the trash as he returned to his regular clothes. "What do you want?" stated the teen to the person waiting for him.

Back with the group, they had all gone through more practices to help Jazz work up the nerve to ask Rocky to the expo, but the girl didn't seem to be getting any progress done, as the others were oblivious. Eventually, Roll arrived as she tapped Hitch's shoulder.

"What'd I miss?"

"Not much," explained the boy as he showed the state of affairs.

"Anything new?" asked Roll.

Hitch shook his head as Roll looked at Jazz.

"Alright, one more!" said Pipp.

"Actually, Pipp. Can I call a time-out?" said Roll as she interjected herself.

"What? Why?" said the pop teen.

"'Cause I want to try my idea if you all don't mind," said Roll.

The others all shrugged as they were willing to let Roll do her thing.

"Great. So, first, everyone follow me," stated Roll as they did just that, leaving Jazz alone in her room.

The girl didn't pay attention as she was still wrestling with her mind. Soon the group was outside the girl's room.

"How does standing outside of Jazz's room help her?" asked Pipp.

"I said I had an idea on how to help her. I didn't say I was the one to help her," explained Roll, causing the others to all raise eyebrows. Roll stepped aside as she revealed something behind her.

"Seriously?!" said the group.

Jazz sat at the table with her head down as her fingers played with a small top. She spun it as it twirled about before losing speed and fell over. The girl sighed as she buried her face into her arms. The top was then picked up by a hand as it spun around, and it remained spinning on its top longer than she did. The girl heard the sound as she looked up and was surprised by the person who stood beside her.

"Nice place," said Mario as he sat across from the girl.

"What are you doing here?" asked Jazz.

"My sister," said the boy as the top finished spinning and fell. "So… it's… been a while between us, huh?"

"Yeah, ever since the… the whole letter fiasco from last semester," said Jazz as she recalled the letter incident where Roll thought the piece of paper she found in her brother's desk was for Jazz when really he wrote it for Rocky to help approach the girl in helping them to become friends. And how that whole thing turned into Jazz's misbelieving that she had affection for the boy before her.

"Yeah, I remember, but I'm not here to discuss that. I'm here to help with your issue," said Mario. "From what my sis has told me, I can tell you're pretty uncertain this will work when talking to Rocky, huh?"

"Well, yeah. I mean, it's not every day you ask the boy you care for about your feelings." Jazz said with her head still on the table. "How can love be so hard?" She asked.

"Been there. It was tough for me when I asked my ex to be my girlfriend."

"Really?" Jazz asked as she lifted her head up to look at the boy.

"Oh, it's true. Trust me," said Mario.

"Huh? I never knew you dated someone. How long did that last?"

"Ooh, about three years."

"Wow. I'm… shocked," said Jazz as she was at a loss for words regarding Mario's prior relationship.

"Yup, first and only relationship I've ever had. But I'll tell you from experience, it's typically best to just be yourself in these sorts of situations. I can understand the desire to want to build yourself up and become more confident. There's nothing wrong with that. But I'm really sure that Rocky likes you too, Jazz."

"You sure?" said the girl.

"I understand what you're going through. It can be scary, but once you find the confidence to overcome it, the rest is a breeze. We all get nervous, Jazz. And if you feel that way for Rocky, I'm sure he probably feels the same way towards you." said Mario with a small smile.

"You really think so?" asked the girl with a similar expression.

"Positive. Just remember, try and be direct with him. Just be yourself, okay."

Jazz thought for a moment as she gave a small smile, "Well, I'll try."

"That's the spirit!" said Mario as he patted the girl's hand, offering his support so that she could overcome her fear.

The following day, Rocky exited Mane Melody while Zipp, who was hiding in a bush next to the salon, gasped when she saw Rocky come out. "The egg has left the nest!" She whispered as the rest of her friends and Jazz appeared from in the bush; with Jazz having some flowers in her hair, looking nervous.

"Time for step 2," said Roll.

Pipp then giggled. "This is so fun! Oh!" She said excitedly as she brought Jazz close to her. "This is your big moment, Jazz! Just remember everything that we taught you, and you'll be totally fine!" She said to her excitedly, while Jazz looked nervous as she gave a nervous gulp.

"Take it easy, chica," said Mario as he separated the two girls. "Just remember Jazz. Go up there, and talk to him. You got this. Right, guys?" Mario said as the others all nodded with smiles, which made Jazz smile as well.

"Thanks," said Jazz to the boy.

"Thank me later. Go get'em, Jazzy baby," stated Mario as he pushed the girl forward and out of the bush.

Rocky continued walking before he saw Jazz coming up to him. "Oh, hey, Jazz." He greeted the girl, who was wearing a yellow skirt with stars on the waist, a collar cloth with a music symbol on it, and her nails were painted with green and pink streaks with cherries on them, giving a nervous smile while blushing and sweating a bit as the others appeared from the bushes and watched as Rocky gasped at Jazz's new look. "Loving those nails! Is that a new polish?" He asked with a smile.

"Oh, uh, this?" Jazz asked while gesturing her nails with a nervous smile. "Yeah, it's kinda new. Um…" She stammered while walking with Rocky, while the others watched on while cheering, except Mario, who kept a straight face.

"Yeah!" Pipp cheered with giggles.

Mario merely gave a thumbs up to serve as the sign that Jazz was doing great. Rocky stopped when he noticed Jazz's expression as he turned, only to see nothing as the group was hiding behind the bushes while Pipp kept giggling while Mario quieted her down with a hand to her mouth.

"Uhhh…" Jazz asked nervously as she moved her hands around and some flowers appeared, surprising Rocky.

"Oh. Thank you?" Rocky said in surprise, but then the flower started moving, which surprised him. Jazz smiled as the flowers poofed and turned into a bird, who chirped as it flew away. "Wow. That was, um, really... something." He said slowly as they kept walking while Jazz still felt uneasy.

"Music! Music!" PIpp whispered to Jazz with a smirk while mimicking a banjo.

"Seriously?" Roll questioned her with a brow.

Jazz got the gesture as she got in front of Rocky, pulled out a banjo, and started playing it. "Would you... maybe... like to... umm…" She tried to ask as she did a twirl, but then her banjo strings snapped, shocking her and giving an embarrassing smile as she blushed again and tossed her banjo away.

Rocky gave a nervous chuckle from Jazz's reaction. "What is happening?" He asked uncertainly.

Jazz gave a sheepish look as she then started dancing around Rocky, who gave a confused expression about what Jazz was doing.

Oh, oh, I'm spreadin' the love
Like, oh, oh, it's all I've dreamt of

The group looked at Jazz strangely, wondering why she was dancing. "Why is she dancing?" Roll asked.

"That was my idea!" Izzy answered with a brow while the others either looked at her dully, covered their eyes, or shook their heads from this.

"Izzy!" Mario stated.

"What? Dancing helps a lot." Izzy said cheerfully.

"You stupid mother…" started Mario as he was cut off by Zipp putting her hand over his mouth to silence him as they continued to see how Jazz was doing.

Rocky gave Jazz a weird smile since she kept dancing around him. "You okay, Jazz? You don't seem like yourself." He said in concern.

"Ugh!" Jazz groaned as she was just embarrassing herself in front of her crush. "It's no use! Mario was right! I should just be myself and tell you something!" She called as she struggled to dance.

"Tell me what?" Rocky asked in confusion.

"About…" Jazz tried to finish, but she lost her balance and gasped as she tripped while both she and Rocky yelped and fell to the floor with a grunt.

"Okay! The direct approach!" Pipp said with a smile.

"Well, at least it saves her the embarrassment," Roll said with a shrug.

Love, I'm gonna shout it
Ain't no doubt about it
Love's in the air, let's shout it

Jazz was on top of Rocky, who managed to get himself free and stood up as he looked down at Jazz. Rocky then extended his hand to Jazz, which she accepted with a smile as Rocky helped her up.

Rocky then noticed the two tickets on the floor. "What's this?" He asked as he picked them up while Jazz looked a bit nervous. "Two tickets to the Nail and Hair Expo?" He asked after reading the tickets as he smiled at Jazz.

"Yeah." Jazz nodded with a sheepish smile while still blushing. "I was kind of wondering if you'd wanna... go with me?" She asked nervously with her eyes closed, feeling nervous about Rocky's answer.

"Oh, you'll never believe it," Rocky said as Jazz opened her eyes. "I got two tickets, too." He said as he got two more tickets that he got, which surprised Jazz. "I was gonna ask you to go with me."

Jazz was surprised by this; she blushed brightly and smiled as she gasped happily with sparkles in her eyes. "Really?! I'd love to!" She cheered as she put her hands to her cheeks.

The group looked on with wide smiles as the girls had hearts in their eyes as well while Pipp started squealing. "Oh, I can't take it! It's too cute!" She exclaimed in excitement while putting her hands together with sparkles in her eyes at her two stylish partners.

Mario rolled his eyes as he looked at Jazz, who gave him a thumbs up and mouthed a 'thank you' to the boy for his advice. The teen returned the thumbs-up with one of his own. Sometime later, with electric music playing at the Nail and Hair Expo, some stylish models were on the stage, then walked down and made some moves, like twirling or showing their royal attire in style.

Jazz and Rocky sat next to each other while watching the stage. They smiled and shared a laugh as they high-fived each other. But then Pipp appeared between them as she started squealing while the group, san Roll and Mario, smiled with sparkles in their eyes at the two, while Pipp had hearts in her eyes. Startling Jazz, but Rocky doesn't mind as he just smiled.

"Come on, chica! Give them some privacy!" said Mario, yanking Pipp back into her seat.

"Hey!" Pipp called out as she sat back in her seat. "It's just so cute for those two!" She said in defense.

"Just leave them be, Pipp," Roll said; Pipp slouched in defeat but nodded in understanding while the girl turned to the two stylish. "Sorry, she just really loves heartfelt moments." She apologized.

"No, it's okay. It can happen to anybody." Rocky assured them with a smile.

"But, uh, can you make sure they don't invade our space for the whole show?" Jazz asked with a sheepish smile.

"Don't worry," Roll assured them with a smile. "Now, continue on with your time together." She said to them as she sat back down in her chair; the teens enjoyed the show while Rocky and Jazz held hands with smiles as they continued on.

"You know, I'm surprised your plan involved your brother," Sunny whispered to Roll. "He really does seem like an expert on love."

"I guess," said Roll, not fully buying her friend's statement about her brother.

For Mario, the boy, quietly got up and left. He managed to sneak out of the building as he put his hands in his pockets, and walked away. The boy was passing by several couples out on the streets as they were celebrating Valentine's Day. He saw a couple having dinner in a restaurant as they smiled happily at each other; he passed by a park and saw a man proposing to a woman, and she accepted it. He soon came to a water fountain, reached into his pocket, and pulled out a quarter.

"Que aprecies este amor," said Mario as he flipped the coin into the water. The boy merely dropped the item in and walked away.

Author's Note: Quite a special Valentine's Day, wouldn't you say? After seeing the TYT episode this was based on, I decided to do this as one of the many Valentine's Day chapters I'll be doing for this story. We also got to see how Mario feels about this specific holiday and to his credit, which I'm sure many of you were surprised, but maybe the line of him being an "expert on love" might have more truth behind it than expected. Given how he was able to help Jazz with her predicament against the others. I will say, this chapter is a hint as to what Unity spark Mario does represent, so keep that in mind.

And lastly, Happy Valentine's Day/ Hearts and Hooves Day to you all. Remember to treasure your love for everyone that's important to you and not just your significantother if you have one. Rememberthat love is something to be shared with others, your friends, family, pets, even someone you might not know. You don't need to have romantic feels to tell someone that you love them, as long as they're an important part of you and your life, then that love you have for them is enough.
