"What do you think that looks like?"

"A cloud."

"Come on, big bro. Use your imagination. I think it looks like a duck."

"I think it looks like a racecar."

"I think you're both stupid."

Three young kids were shown lying on a field of flowers. They were positioned in a circle as they looked up at the many clouds passing by. After playing an intense game of tag, the three family members decided to relax and watch the fluffy white things pass by. They were looking at things and determining what they looked like.

"Alright, primo. What does that one look like?" asked a young Flurry as she pointed to a cloud.

"A tree."

"Alright, what about that one?"

"A lamp."

"And that one?"

The boy looked at the cloud as he took a while to answer his cousin's questions. The boy's mind and imagination began to work as the cloud shifted and changed into a shape.

"It… looks like… Dad."

"You know what…. Yeah… it kinda does," confirmed the boy's little sibling as she turned her head.

The three looked at the cloud resembling the boy's father, which brought a smile to their faces.

"Do you guys think we'll still be able to do this when we grow up?"

"What do you mean, prima?" said the boy's younger sister.

"I mean, when we grow up and become different people, will we still be family?"

"Obviously!" said the boy as both girls looked at him. "We're family. We stick together. There's no way any of that is gonna change."

"Mario's right. We'll always be together."

"But what if we end up fighting each other? What then?" asked the girl as she sat up and looked at her two cousins.

"That's never gonna happen. And even if we did end up fighting, it won't matter. Because, in the end, we love each other. And family never hurts one another. No matter what." said a young Mario as he had hope in his eyes.

"Yeah, you're right, primo," said the girl to her cousin.

"Familia," said young Mario as he put his hand out.

"Familia," said the boy's little sister as she put her hand on top of his.

"Familia," said the siblings' cousin as she put her hand on the pile.

"Flurry, Mario, Roll! Lunch is ready!"

"Coming, Mom!" said the two siblings.

The three cousins got up and began to run down the hill to join their family. They all promised that no matter what happened, they would always love each other… to the bitter end.

Mario opened his eyes as the crowd's roar snapped him out of his daydream. He was brought back to reality as he took it all in.

The situation was set. Despite Roll's best efforts, she couldn't overcome Flurry and her power. And so… it was now down to the final two duelists of this event. Flurry Heart… was not only the captain of her school but also the final boss herself. Her final opponent was her other cousin, Mario. Both teens, prodigies, and related to the top duelists in the world were about to clash. For the girl… she couldn't wait to defeat her cousin as she would deliver on the message she told the others about them winning this event.

Mario brought Roll back to their friends and handed his sister to Hitch. With a look of unwavering trust, the boy took the girl from his friend, and Roll had her arm around Hitch's shoulder, a silent testament to their bond.

"Look after my sister for me, Hitch."

"You got it, bud," said the boy as he led Roll to sit beside Sunny, who was also recovering.

Mario turned to look as he locked eyes with his cousin. Flurry just put on one of her innocent smiles as the boy began to walk forward. Watching the boy was Zipp. While Mario looked to confront him, she kept her gaze on him. The words of Axiom kept echoing in her head.

How do you know those two won't screw you all over in the name of their bloodline?

"You better not screw us, lover boy," said the heiress to herself.

Mario stood before his cousin as the two stared each other down. Backed by her powerful dragon, Flurry leered at her family member, who stood there with a straight expression. The girl then smiled before she put on her cuteness.

"Apologies, primo. I didn't want to hurt you or Roll… but you two are really not giving me a choice here. You had one, and you chose the wrong one. I thought you could convince her not to do it. Aren't you, big brother? Aren't you the older sibling? Isn't it your job to keep her out of trouble and ensure she doesn't make the wrong decisions?"

Mario lifted his duel disk as he looked at his deck while listening to Flurry.

"People see us, and they expect greatness. That's what our family is, primo! We stand at the top, above our classmates, above our friends, because that's what we were made for. Admit it… you think you're better than your friends. Don't lie, primo. I see it with that same stoic expression you inherited from Uncle Isaac. You know you're better than them."

Mario shifted his eyes to look at his friends, who were all peering at the boy's back.

"Yeah… I am," responded the boy.

"Of course you are. Because whether you admit it or not, primo, you're just like Uncle Isaac. You're the next big thing. You and Roll are big fish swimming in very, very tiny ponds. And me…. I'm a shark. Swimming with other sharks, I prove that I have what it takes. And I'm at the top of the food chain. Nobody is above me. I'm the head of the table! And you can be that, Mario. We've had each other's backs all our lives. So look… I'm giving you a chance to make the right choice. Stand down and walk away so you don't have to suffer the same fate as Roll. I don't want to hurt you, primo… but I will if I have to. If it means I have to whoop you, just like when we were kids, to win for Crystal Prep. I'll do it. But I don't want to be forced to. So I ask again… stand down, or I'll show your friends what the final boss can do."

The boy shifted his gaze between his friends, cousin, and deck. Mario stared at his cards. Moments passed as everybody waited to see what the boy would do.

"You know me by now, Flurry. I love you… but I ain't nobody's bitch," said Mario as he turned his cap backward and raised his duel disk, which came online and projected a red card tray.

Mario's Life Points: 8000-
Flurry's Life Points: 4400-

Turn 1: Flurry (Hand 2)

"I tried. I tried to reason with you, Mario. Now… I'm going to have to make you acknowledge me," said Flurry as she and her cousin exchanged fierce glares. "I end my turn. Let's see how you deal with my dragon."

Turn 2: Mario (Hand 5)

"Then let's get it. I draw!" said Mario as he drew. At that moment, Mario's Winged Kuriboh appeared before his master.

Oh, no. Not you.

The card made a sound as it floated by his master's face. He initially nuzzled against Mario's cheek as the boy pushed the small winged furball back.

"Stop it! Now's not the time!" said Mario to his monster.

"Kuri."

"Yeah, yeah. I know. You don't have to remind me!" said the teen to his monster as he knew their situation. "Now, stay quiet while I think."

Mario looked at the rest of his starting hand as he tried to think of his opening play against his cousin's mighty dragon. His monster floated by his face and offered a suggestion.

"I said I got this. I don't need any input!" responded Mario as he knew what he was doing and didn't need his Winged Kuriboh to backseat.

"Who's Mario talking to?" asked Pipp.

"Himself?" responded Hitch.

While Mario was actually speaking with his monster spirit, the others saw something entirely different. They just saw their friend seemly arguing with the air next to him, almost like he was speaking to either himself or something invisible.

"I think lover boy has finally lost it," said Zipp.

"No, my brother's fine," said Roll, grabbing the others' attention as they turned to look at her. He's just… chatting with someone."

"Oh, like an imaginary friend," smiled Izzy.

"Y-Yeah. That's the best way to put it," chuckled Roll sheepishly. The girl knew the others wouldn't understand, as Izzy's explanation made the most sense. The girl turned back to look at her brother as she saw her brother's tiny winged angel trying to offer advice.

While Mario debated his first move, which wasn't easy with the constant back seating that Winged Kuriboh tried to offer, Flurry just looked at her cousin. She closed her eyes for a moment and concentrated. A moment later, the Crystal Prep girl opened them and saw Winged Kuriboh flying about her cousin's personal space as he tried to swat it away to let him think.

"Never a dull moment, huh, cousin," smiled the girl when she saw Mario act like he always did with his monsters.

"Alright, shut up. I'm making my move!" Mario shouted to his Winged Kuriboh to silence the small furball with wings.

He then turned to look at Flurry as the girl went back to her competitive side and taunted her cousin to try and take her down.

"First, I'll begin with a classic. I activate Polymerization. So I fuse my Elemental HERO Solid Soldier and Elemental HERO Blazeman!" Mario's two monsters appeared above their master before they were sucked into a swirling vortex appearing as it emitted orange and purple lights. "I Fusion Summon! Elemental HERO Gaia(2200/2600)!" Emerging from the ground was a stone statue. It then broke apart, sending pieces of rock everywhere; the thing left in its wake was a warrior made of earth. Around its hands was a cannon, spinning around its wrists.

"Alright, that's not bad. But it doesn't have enough attack points to take that dragon down," said Zipp.

"Just wait," said Roll.

"I now activate my Elemental HERO Gaia's special ability. When its fusion summoned, I can target one face-up monster you control, and until the end of the turn, its attack points are cut in half!" said Mario as his monster punched the ground. It created a rock wave of pillars toward Flurry's dragon as it was hit by the pillars and felt its strength weakening. "But there's more. Now, my monster gains the amount it lost. With that done, my Elemental HERO Gaia will now attack Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!"

Mario's monster aimed its right cannon arm at Flurry's beast. The weapon began to rotate rapidly, firing several shots before moving on to the next one. A barrage of earth pellets began to bomb Flurry's dragon as it tried to fire back by firing out beams from its three heads, but it was overpowered and soon hailed by a massive earthstorm and crushed under the weight of it all. The Crystal Prep girl raised her arm to protect herself while gritting her teeth.
Flurry's Life Points: 2200-

"Alright! That dragon is history!" stated the heiress as Flurry had nothing left on her field.

"With that, I end my turn, prima."

Turn 3: Flurry (Hand 2)

"You seem to forget, primo. I'm in god mode now! Greatness… on a different level! And I'm gonna show you and your pathetic teammates. I draw!" said Flurry with intensity in her voice. "I activate the spell card, Card of Demise. Now I draw until I'm holding five cards in my hand, but during my 5th Standby Phase, I have to get rid of my entire hand. But don't worry. This duel won't last long for that to happen. Like I said. I'm in god mode! And to prove it, I summon this monster. Kaibaman(200/700)!"

A man in a white outfit appeared as he stood before Flurry with his arms crossed.

"Oh, no," said Mario.

"And now I'll activate his ability. By sacrificing him, I get to summon a special monster—one you know all too well, primo. Because it's the one that I've tossed you around with since we were kids. I summon… Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" shouted Flurry as she slammed her card on her tray.

"She has another one?!" said the boy's friends as Mario and Roll gritted their teeth.

In a flash of light, another white dragon appeared and roared. It spread its massive wings to make itself look bigger before staring down Mario and his lonely superhero.

"I always did enjoy you and Roll being chew toys for my pet dragons. But this time, they don't want to chew you up. They want to eat you alive! Feast your eyes on the beast that feast on your soul, primo!" said Flurry as her dragon growled, looking at Mario as if he were prey. "Blue-Eyes, remind my cousin who the head of the table! White Lightning!"

The dragon opened its mouth, and in seconds, hot white lightning formed and condensed into a single stream of energy. It shot forward and engulfed Mario's monster, which didn't stand a chance and was blasted off the field. The boy put his arm up and held on.
Mario's Life Points: 7200-

"With that I end my turn," smiled Flurry smugly.

Turn 4: Mario (Hand 3)

The teen lowered his arm and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand before placing it on top of his deck.

"Alright, my turn. I draw. First, I summon Elemental HERO Bubbleman(800/1200) in attack mode. Oh, and if Bubbleman is summoned by himself, then I get to draw two more cards out of my deck."

"Like it'll change anything!" growled Flurry with her response.

"Really? Well, one of the cards I drew was the equip spell card, Bubble Blaster!" said Mario as he showed it off. The weapon materialized in the hands of his monster as he bent down on a knee and had it over his shoulder like he was aiming a cannon.

"Not bad. That gives Mario's monster 800 extra attack points, but it's still not enough," said Pipp.

"I'll call it a turn," said the boy.

Turn 5: Flurry (Hand 3)

"A waste of a turn, if you ask me. I expected more from you, primo. You disappoint me!" stated Flurry as she drew, with Mario glaring at his cousin. "Blue-Eyes, you know what to do!"

The girl's dragon heard the command of its mistress and opened its mouth to fire its attack. A beam of white lightning was shot and collided with Mario's monster, which was engulfed by the attack.

"Hold on there, prima. Maybe you forgot, but since I have my Bubble Blaster out, it takes the hit instead of my monster. And I don't take any damage!" said Mario, as the weapon in his monster's hand was gone, and the hero stood up.

"That may have saved his monster, but his monster loses the extra bonus without that blaster. And that's not good when you're facing a legendary monster such as that with that kind of power!" said Hitch in a worried tone.

"I end my turn!" scoffed Flurry with disgust.

Turn 6: Mario (Hand 4)

"My move!" said Mario as he drew when his Winged Kuriboh spoke. "Yes, I know that. I was gonna make that move anyway. You don't have to tell me!" The teen addressed his winged monster spirit as the Kuriboh put on a set of innocent closed eyes, and Mario rolled his eyes.

"And I'm gonna be turning two monsters into one. I play Polymerization to fuse my Bubbleman and my Elemental HERO Clayman!" said Mario, holding his fusion card and monster out for all to see. The two monsters appeared before a swirling vortex as they were sucked in, emitting orange and purple lights. "To create the Elemental HERO Mudballman(1900/3000) in defense mode!" Out came a hero with the tiny face of Mario's Bubbleman as it had a giant round body made of Clayman's.

"Take that!" said the boy to his cousin, ending his turn.

Turn 7: Flurry (Hand 4)

"No. I'll take this!" responded Flurry as she drew her card. "I activate the spell card, Pot of Greed. It lets me draw two cards from my deck, but I'll only need one. The spell card, Burst Stream of Destruction!" said the Crystal Prep girl as she showed off her card.

"Isn't that an attack that the Blue Eyes uses?" Sunny asked, getting the others to ponder.

"Yeah. What's the deal with it being a separate card?" asked Hitch.

Before Roll could explain, Flurry addressed the group's concerns.

"You're about to find out!" said the Crystal Prep girl to the group. "You see, I can only use this card when Blue-Eyes is out. But since he is, I can now play it to destroy all of Mario's monsters."

"What?!" said Pipp, her eyes widening upon hearing that.

"Heh. Obliterate Mudballman with Burst Stream of Destruction!" commanded Flurry to her monster. Her dragon obeyed and wasted no time in executing her orders. The princess' beast opened its mouth and fired its attack as it took out her cousin's monster easily. Mario had to cover up while making a defiant sound as a smoke cloud obscured his vision.

"No!" said Izzy with concern.

"Now he's all exposed. So when Blue-Eyes attacks, it'll be all over," said Hitch as they were about to lose.

"Not quite," said Roll. "You see, since that's a powerful card, Blue-Eyes can't attack the turn that Burst Stream of Destruction is used for."

"So he still has a chance?" said Sunny, with hope in her eyes.

"Not a lot, but… yeah," the boy's little sister responded.

"It won't matter!" said Flurry. "I summon Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands(1400/1000)." Out came a green monster that had tons of arms. "And now… he'll lend me a hand. See, when he's summoned, he allows me to select a ritual monster or spell from my deck and place it into my hand. But it won't stay in my hand for long because I'm playing it. Go, White Dragon Ritual!"

The teen showed off her card as the monster she just summoned disappeared.

"Now I'll sacrifice Manju to summon Paladin of White Dragon(1900/1200)!" A white armored dragon appeared, and on its back was a paladin with similar armor who raised its lance at Mario.

Upon looking at the monster his cousin brought out, Mario gritted his teeth.

"Like I said, it doesn't matter if Blue-Eyes can't attack this turn. You see… with Paladin, I don't need him to. He'll fill in for Blue-Eyes just fine. Sure, he may not be a dragon, but he's managed to tame one. And in my kingdom, that's not only tough but worthy of being a part of my court to serve his princess!" said Flurry, reminding everybody of her Crystal Prep nickname.

"Now… Paladin of White Dragon. Attack him directly. With Ionic Spear Burst!"

Flurry's monster took to the skies as it soared above the boy. Mario looked up and saw the monster dive toward him. The rider gave a battle cry before thrusting his weapon out and making contact with the boy's chest. Mario grunted before being knocked to the ground by his cousin's monster and lay there for a bit.
Mario's Life Points: 5300-

"Mario!" said Sunny.

"And I'm not done yet! By sacrificing Paldain, I can now summon another monster from my hand or deck. And it's one you've already met! Care to guess which one, primo?" taunted Flurry as her cousin panted heavily, giving his usual scowl.

"Actually, no," responded the boy.

"Heh. Let me give you a hint, then, because I'm so generous. It has blue eyes, white scales… from my deck, I summon my third Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" yelled Flurry as the final monster of her trio rose and screeched to the heavens.

"A third one!" yelled Zipp.

"She… has… three of them?" said Sunny, almost afraid.

The others all trembled with similar feelings as the fact that Flurry had three copies of these legendary beasts said it all.

"Dealing with one was hard enough… now Mario's got to find a way to beat both of them!" said Pipp, worried for her crush.

"It's your move, primo," cackled Flurry when she saw her cousin tremble before her and her pets.

Turn 8: Mario (Hand 3)

"It's my move. Like you, I play Pot of Greed. So now I draw two cards from my deck. I then activate the spell card Monster Reincarnation. I get a monster in return from my graveyard by discarding one card from my hand. So goodbye to my Elemental HERO Necroshade and hello to Clayman."

"Going to try and hide behind that puny and pathetic monster?" barked Flurry.

"I'm not hiding, prima. You see, even though I'm happy to have Clayman back, I'm even more happy to have my Necroshade down in my grave because when Necroshade goes to the graveyard, I can summon a high-level 'Elemental HERO' monster without having to sacrifice. And the monster I'm gonna summon is my Elemental HERO Bladedge(2600/1800)!" The boy dropped his card onto his tray and out came a golden-covered superhero.

"As strong as that monster may be, it's still no match for my Blue-Eyes White Dragons," commented Flurry.

"Don't be too sure. Next… I play the field spell. Skyscraper!"

Mario held his card out before his duel disk ejected a secret card compartment. He placed his card inside of it, and it shut. The field then began to rumble as it changed. Rising from the ground were tall buildings, and one by one, they began to surround both teens. It soon became a giant city full of skyscrapers, as Flurry and Mario were in a courtyard between the many towers.

"With this field spell out, if any of my Elemental HEROs take on a stronger monster, they gain an extra 1000 attack points during battle. And that's just enough to edge out your Blue-Eyes!" said Mario as he pointed at his cousin and her pet dragons. "Now, go! Slice and Dice attack!" The monster charged forward after hearing the boy's command as he flew forward. Flurry's dragon roared as it began to fire beams at the incoming target. Mario's monster dodged them and flew out of the attack's way before it soared past the beast, delivering a slash attack that cut Flurry's dragon in half and exploded.
Flurry's Life Points: 1600-

Flurry stood her ground as she willed herself not to fall. The girl remained standing as she now had scuff marks on her clothes and skin. She, too, began to breathe heavily as it matched her cousins. Both teens were clearly spending the last bit of energy trying to take out the other.

"I can't believe it. Lover boy actually did it," said Zipp, astonished that Mario managed to beat one of Flurry's top monsters. It made the girl admire the boy even more as her cheeks turned slightly red from his bravery.

"Next, I'll throw down a facedown!" Mario smiled, feeling pretty good about the state of the duel.

Turn 9: Flurry (Hand 3)

Flurry dusted her skirt before flipping her hair again and looking at her cousin.

"Do you really think by beating one Blue-Eyes, you've won the duel? You've avoided the defeat that you and your school fear, well I think not! You and your friends are a long way from ever having a chance to win! I've told you and everybody this. I'm the final boss! I get the last say! I run it all! I'm the head of the table, and everybody should acknowledge me!"

"Yeesh, we get it," said Zipp.

"That right there is what I'm talking about, primo. That pendeja over there is making jokes and mocking us. She's mocking you! And when she mocks you, she mocks me. When she disrespects you, she disrespects me… she disrespects our family. Our familia! Our bloodline! Our legacy! Nuestro legado!" said Flurry as she growled. "Someone like that perra running their mouth about our family who sits at the top of the mountain, everything we've ever worked for. And you're just gonna let that slide? You're gonna let someone like that run their mouth about us?!"

Mario just stood there, lulling over what was being said.

"It's my turn! I play the spell card Silent Doom. With it, I bring back my Blue Eyes from the graveyard in defense mode. Next, I play… Polymerization!"

"Uh-oh," said Mario upon seeing that fusion card.

"When you're the daughter of the number 2 duelists in the world, it comes with special perks. For example, I get whatever I want because I say so! Now… I'm gonna beat you at your game, primo. I fuse together my two Blue Eyes in order to summon… a creature so fierce you don't stand a chance. I Fusion Summon! Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon(3000/2500)!" Out came a beast with the body of Blue-Eyes, but it had two heads attached. "Behold… the monster that will seal your fate!"

"I'm not feeling too pleased about this," said Hitch.

"My Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is so powerful that it can attack your monster twice. It's time to end this facade. You made the wrong choice by choosing to fight me, cousin. And now… I'm gonna make you fall in line. And by the end of it… you will acknowledge me. Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon… attack!"

"I don't think so, Flurry. I activate my trap card. Go… Edge Hammer!" said Mario as he touched his duel screen. His set card activated as it flipped over. "Now, by sacrificing Bladedge, I can destroy one of your monsters. And then… you take damage equal to that monster's attack points!"

"He did it!" said Pipp.

"I can't believe it…" said Zipp in shock.

"Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon has 3000 attack points, and Flurry only has 1600 Life Points left. Which means once it's gone, game over."

"And we win!" said Izzy as she jumped.

Flurry's monster had both heads fired their attack as it engulfed Mario's monster. He took that power and willed himself to tank it as it flew toward the two-headed behemoth. The attack was quite powerful as Mario's monster struggled but kept pushing forward as it got closer and closer to Flurry's monster before it rammed into it, causing a collision and a huge explosion. The explosion was so big that everybody was affected; nearly everybody had to cover up as the wind blew in their faces. They all awaited the damage and final result as Mario and Flurry looked at the smoke cloud directly.

"Yes!" said Pipp.

"Way to play, lover boy!"

"Yippee!" cheered Izzy.

"No… way," said Phin as she couldn't believe it.

The smoke was still there, but a small part began to clear up. Mario saw Flurry as the girl smirked. This caused the boy to put on a questioning expression as he noticed she was holding a card in her hand.

"If you won't accept defeat… then I'll force it on you," said the Crystal Prep girl. She then slowly turned the card she was holding over. Mario's eyes widened when he saw it.

"D-D-De-fusion…"

Mario gasped as he nearly stumbled back after seeing that card in his cousin's hand.

"That's right. It reverted my Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon back to its pre-fusion form. So since Edge Hammer's target was no longer there, it swung… and missed!" Flurry stuck her hand upward as the rest of the smoke cleared, and there were her two dragons. Both fine and ready to strike at her cousin.

Once again, everybody in CHS had their mouths drop.

"No…" spoke Pipp softly.

"It can't be," said Hitch.

At this point, it was clear what was going to happen next.

"Blue-Eyes! Attack with White Lightning!" yelled Flurry at the top of her voice.

Her two dragons didn't hesitate to blast her cousin off the field. They charged up and fired their attacks without a moment's delay. The two beams condensed into one solid, more powerful one. The beam made contact with Mario, and he cried before it engulfed him.

"Mario!" yelled the boy's friends.

"Big brother!" shouted Roll, concerned for her older sibling.

A huge white flash occurred on the boy's side as it went on for quite a while. Flurry looked at the light as her smile grew. Soon, it slowly began to die down as when it did. There was Mario. The boy had smoke emitting from his clothes as he was hunched over. He was shown breathing rather heavily as he struggled to move. Everybody watched the teen lift his head slightly to look at his cousin. Flurry looked into her cousin's eyes as Mario's breathing got heavier. The boy looked at the girl before his knees weakened, and he lost feeling. He collapsed to them before falling to the floor on his stomach and closing his eyes.
Mario's Life Points: 0
Winner: Flurry Heart

"And Mario is down!" said Luna through the mic as it echoed, making everyone in her school drop their mouths.

"Ladies and gentlemen… Your winner and sole survivor for Crystal Prep. Flurry Heart!" said Cadance as she took the other mic and announced her daughter as the winner for this event and their school.

"Yes, yes, YES!" shouted Flurry as she fell to her knees and pounded the ground in victory. She took in the admiration and pride of beating her cousins to prove her point.

The rest of her team high-fived each other as their plan worked. They all began to get on the field and went to their captain.

"This… can't be happening…" said Celestia, on her hands and knees, broken from seeing Mario lose. The principal was at a loss for words as her pride snapped in half.

"Tsk, tsk, Tia," said Sombra as he was shown standing in front of the woman with his arms behind his back and a sly grin. He grabbed Celestia's chin to make her look up at him. "You just don't have it anymore."

As if Celestia couldn't be broken anymore, Sombra held his cocky smile at the woman before waving a hand as his entire student body cheered him on. On the field, Flurry began to mouth off at the nearby camera to get her point across.

"I told everybody this is what happens when you fuck with the final boss! I told everybody! And nobody believed me when I said we would win this event. I don't make promises I don't keep. I said this wasn't a prediction; it was a spoiler! I run it all! Can't nobody touch me! I'm tired of being humble! I'm tired of letting people think they got a chance! The final boss is head and shoulders above everyone! This is my show! This is my yard! This is my camera! I run it ALL! Acknowledge me!"

Flurry shoved the camera away as she got up, and her teammates came up behind her to pat her on the back. The girl stepped forward and stood there, looking at the sky. She then began to raise her right arm as she put one up.

"Put your ones to the sky!" said Flurry as her royal decree.

The girl's friends and the entire Crystal Prep student body followed her command. A sea of ones was shown, as Sunny and the others could do nothing but take it in and be in awe of what they saw. Even Sombra and Cadance did it as they showcased their school's victory. The group was in disarray, as they couldn't believe what had happened.

"What do we do… what do we do… what do we do," said Sunny, having her hands on her head and having a panic attack.

Hitch put his hand on his best friend's shoulder as he tried to get Sunny to calm down. The others were going through the motions of losing for a third time in a row.

On the field, Mario hadn't moved. His Winged Kuriboh appeared above his master, holding the cap he wore as he was concerned for the boy. He called out to his master as if on cue, Mario opened his eyes. He groaned as he put his hands out and pushed up to sit on his knees.

"Winged Kuriboh," said Mario as he saw his tiny winged monster appear before him.

The monster spirit was glad his master was okay as he placed the cap back on Mario's head before jumping in his lap, causing Mario to shift his weight to sit on his hind. The boy looked at his monster spirit as it nuzzled forward against his shirt. The teen merely brought a hand down to pat the creature's furry head as the winged monster enjoyed it. Mario then saw Flurry's legs as he looked upwards to see his cousin standing before him.

"Primo. Acknowledge me," demanded Flurry.

Winged Kuriboh blinked before turning his head to look at his master. Mario kept his gaze downward and just put his head down even more. Flurry saw the top of her cousin's head, and it nodded ever so gently. The girl smiled as she began to walk away. Winged Kuriboh just extended its tiny arms to pat his master and cheer him up.

Flurry made her way to the edge of the field as she stood before her competition. The others saw her as the Crystal Prep girl turned to look at her other cousin.

"Prima… acknowledge me."

Roll looked at Flurry before letting out a deep sigh. The others watched her as she put her head down, and she brought her right arm up and put a one up, just like the rest of Crystal Prep. The girl acknowledged her cousin as Flurry smiled. The others couldn't believe what Roll did as it shocked them. Flurry put her arm back to point at the sky as she turned and left. Roll kept her arm up as she didn't dare look at her friends.

The others were taken aback. They lost again to Crystal Prep, even with the adjustments to their decks. And then… seeing their friends acknowledge their cousin like the rest of Crystal Prep. They didn't know what to think. The words that Zipp had been playing in her mind constantly now began to ring throughout the rest of their minds.

How do you know those two won't screw you all over in the name of their bloodline?

The heiress looked to the field. Mario still sat there with his head down and Winged Kuriboh in his lap. He just watched the sea of arms point to the sky, with Crystal Prep's logo flashing on the screen as the victors.

"Guys… what do we do now?" asked Zipp.

Author's Note: Like I said in the previous chapter... This is Cinema! For anybody that was doubting Flurry... for anybody that thought she was blowing smoke up her own ass by calling her shot well before shooting... to anybody that was praying on her downfall and doubting her skills, safe to say, she just silenced any and all doubters. She is, legit, the final boss. She just won three consecutive wins to secure her team the victory and she herself has led her team to win back to back to back in events, nobody can deny her anymore. And as for her cousins and CHS... it looks like we ain't finishing any no story. And so... just like Flurry said. Put your ones to the sky... and acknowledge her.

P.S. On a bit of a side note, I want to say that with the release of this latest chapter, it's been officially one year since I started this story. One year later and this story is still going strong, and the crazy part is... we haven't even scratched the surface, let alone are close to this being done anytime soon. So from the bottom of my heart, I want to personally say thank you to everyone who has read, everyone who has left a review/comments. It does me good to know that I'm creating stuff that people enjoy. So again, from me to you guys, thank you. It means so much to me. Now, I don't want this to take away from the chapter itself. Just wanted to say a little something for their moment. Anyways, take care and I'll see you guys, next time.
