One of Mordekaiser's shelters
The mysterious patron that had requested Mordekaiser reveal himself to Hell was currently waiting in a small empty room in one of Mordekaiser's shelters in Pentagram City. It was the same shelter that she had first met Mordekaiser in and made a deal with him. What better place to met up with him again after his most recent display of power against Hell's leadership. Currently the patron was sitting in a chair, grasping a cup of water in her hands, waiting for Mordekaiser or even one of his subordinates to come and greet her. So that she can uphold her end of their latest bargain, which was information about the locations of some of Mordekaiser's previous subordinates and armies. She had a feeling that Mordekaiser will rather like the information that she possessed.
Taking a sip of her water, the woman didn't say anything as a portal appeared before her and out came a woman that she had never seen before. Wearing a dark red hooded robe, the woman floated towards Mordekaiser's mysterious patron with an aloof expression on her face. Stopping before the table in front of the patron, the woman looked at said patron before speaking up.
"You must be the patron that has been assisting milord as of late." Said the woman as she looked at the hooded woman, her expression not changing in the slightest.
"That would be correct." Said the woman as she grasped her cup of water. "And, forgive me for asking, but who are you."
"I am Keira." Said Keira as she introduced herself. "I am one of Mordekaiser's many advisors and heralds. Milord is currently unavailable as of the moment, so I arrived in his stead when I heard that you came here."
"I see." Said the woman as she looked at Keira, noting just how young she looked. Somewhere around her early twenties if her ghostly flesh was something that can be compared accurately to regular human flesh. "May I ask what he is doing?"
"You cannot." Said Keira simply as she looked at the hooded woman. "Relay what you wish to tell us to me and I'll inform milord of what you had to say to him today." The hooded woman stayed silent when she heard that. She soon, however, recomposed herself and spoke.
"Very well." Said the hooded woman before she brought out a thick envelope from her robes and held it out for Keira, who took it without hesitation. "This envelope contains the information I agreed to give your lord if he revealed himself to all of Hell. It should be sufficient in satisfying him for what he did yesterday."
"I'll give this to him once he returns from his duties." Said Keira as she withdrew the envelope to her own robes. The hooded woman nodded at them before finishing her cup of water and taking her leave. Just as she approached the door, however, the hooded woman spoke to Keira.
"Your lord is not what I imagined he would be when he started to infiltrate Hell." Said the woman, catching Keira's attention.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Keira as she looked at the hooded woman with curiosity.
"He is more…compassionate than I thought he would be." Said the woman as she looked at the door in front of her. "When we both went to Wrath, he saved an Imp from another of his kind when he didn't have to. I know that Imp is his son, but I didn't think he would risk exposure to save him. I thought he would…"
"That he would abandon his adopted son in order to preserve the secrecy of milord." Said Keira, filling in what the woman was going to say. When the hooded woman nodded her head, Keira replied. "Milord does care for those he hold in high regard and are loyal to him. He may be cold and ruthless to his enemies, but it is the opposite to those that are his allies. Provided that they do not betray him or do anything foolish."
"I see." Said the hooded woman, a pleased tone in her voice. "It pleases me to know that your lord inspires great loyalty amongst his followers. I can tell you truly believe in what you just spoke of your lord."
"I believe it because he has proven it countless times since I have come into his service." Said Keira simply as she looked at the woman. "And as of late, he has proven that far more frequently than before with his son."
"I imagine." Said the hooded woman. Though she couldn't see it, Keira could imagine the woman was smiling underneath her hood. "He truly cares for him. I only seen him interact with his adopted Imp son once, but that alone is enough for me to see that he is what you claim he is. Hell and Heaven would benefit much from having someone as him around. One who actually cares about their people and does something that actually benefits them and protects them from harm." Keira raised an eyebrow at that, intrigued to hear what the woman just said.
Was what she just said the reason she was helping them? She was disappointed at the leadership of both Heaven and Hell and thus wanted someone better to replace them? That could be the reason but that doesn't explain how she learned about them in the first place, which was something that both Keira and Mordekaiser was eager to find out. So far, they didn't have anything because there was nothing to go on about the woman. She just randomly appeared before Mordekaiser's shelter, wanted to speak with Mordekaiser, and made a pact with him. All of which was done without them knowing even a single piece of information that could help them identify this woman.
Theories abound amongst Mordekaiser's inner circle about this mysterious patron and her goals. One theory was that she was a demon or even angel that was sick of the status quo between Heaven and Hell and wanted to change it. Another was that she was a demon noble or high-ranking angel that found out about them and wanted to use them to further their own goals. And another was that she was a member of the Black Rose, the organization headed by the traitor Leblanc. These theories and more permeated amongst the inner circle, but none of them answered all four important questions that they had for this woman. Who was she, how did she learned about them, how does she know the location of some of Mordekaiser former allies, and why was she helping them? These questions needed to be answered and until they are, they cannot fully trust this woman.
"If that is all, then you are free to leave." Said Keira after processing the information she heard from this woman and making a note to share it with Mordekaiser once he returns from his day of relaxation with his son. The woman gave a nod of thanks to Keira before departing. Once she did, Keira thought of Mordekaiser and his adopted son.
Though most would not see the changes, Keira has seen them. Ever since he adopted the Imp Moxxie, he had changed. For the better she may add.
Prior to the adoption, Mordekaiser had been cold and ruthless leader that cared little about the comforts of his people or if they hated or loved him. He didn't care about collateral damage nor the long term damage some of the plans that he made when he returned to Runeterra will do to both the environment and the people affected by his plans. Both innocent or otherwise. She had been present when he made some of his plans, even been given permission to give her consent to some of them due to her undying loyalty to Mordekaiser, and she had to admit, many of them were very…barbaric and cruel. To the point that some of the plans made the cruelest Noxian tacticians look humane and merciful in comparison.
But when he adopted Moxxie, he changed. The changes were subtly, but Keira can see them. Mordekaiser's razor sharp edges were edged out. His cruelty was restrained a bit more and his plans became a bit more humane and merciful compared to what they were before. She wouldn't call her lord a good man in any stretch of the imagination, but she don't deny that he was becoming a better person as the years passed. And perhaps even more so as he spent more time now with his son and that Morgana woman. And, if his interest and interaction with that Gwen was any indication, he was willing to accept people with drastically different viewpoints in his life.
Yes, her lord was changing and she had to admit it was the for the better for several reasons. One was that it made being loyal to him easier for her as, despite her loyalty, she always felt a sense of unease when it came to her lord's darker ambitions and plans. Another reason was a bit more personnel and came in the form of her niece, her only remaining blood relative.
She highly doubted Irelia would want anything to do with her once she learned about who she served. Mordekaiser was the progenitor of Noxus, even if it was unintentional and he had no love for the empire, and that fact alone will horrify and anger her niece. Noxus was responsible for the death of her entire family, tens of thousands of innocent Ionians of all ages, and permanently changed Ionia forever. Irelia had only been a young child when Noxus first invaded Ionia and the hardships and tragedy she endured from that invasion had not only steeled her resolve, a resolve that helped her become the leader the Ionian people needed in order to halt the Noxus invasion of Ionia, even if they still hold territory in the region, but it also instilled in her an understandable disgust and hatred for the people of Noxus. To hear that her Aunt, someone she had only recently met and was now a Revenant, was working with the very being that caused the creation of Noxus would break her heart as well as Keira's when Irelia disowned her for this fact. And Keira didn't want any of that, not after everything they both endured in their lives, which was why she didn't tell Irelia about her lord yet. Not until Keira was certain that their bond was strong enough to endure such a shocking revelation.
Speaking of her niece, Keira pondered on the thought of visiting her again while Mordekaiser was with his son and that woman, Morgana. There wasn't much to be done at the moment and what needed to be done was already finished. Voraq had just received his latest shipment of demonic flesh to experiment with. The shelters were all resupplied and their hidden bases and outposts in the other rings of Hell were safe and secure. And even if something goes awry anywhere, she wasn't needed to rectify the problems as those in charge of the various other projects and operations were more than capable of handling themselves should something come up. So, there was no need for her to remain in both Hell and Mitna Rachnun. Besides, her lord had given her permission to visit her niece whenever she liked within reason.
Pondering her options, Keira eventually decided to pay her niece a visit. It had been awhile since she seen her. The last time they met, the two had saved a few escaped Ionians from Noxian controlled territory with the help of a few Niskaru warriors. While the Niskaru gave Irelia and the Ionians they saved some pause and unease given their nature and appearance, Irelia appreciated the assistance of her aunt along with her presence. Even if she was a Revenant now.
This visit, however, there will be no Niskaru or other presence around them. This time, it will just be the two of them. At least Keira hoped so. Opening a portal to the Grey Realm, Keira went through it in order to begin her preparations as well as think of how to spend the day with her niece.
Later
Ionia
Irelia
Peacefully meditating, Irelia was sitting in the middle of a small pond on a rock when she suddenly felt a disturbance around her. Opening her eyes, Irelia looked to her right to see a green and black portal opening up near the edges of the pond. Summoning her blades, Irelia was prepared to face whatever was coming through the portal when she saw that it was her aunt Keira coming through it and only her. Upon seeing her undead aunt, Irelia stood down and looked at her aunt with a cautious but happy smile.
Since their first meeting together, Irelia has meet with her aunt several times throughout the course of the past few months. Each time, it was met with decreasing sense of unease towards the undead woman as she got to know more of the aunt that she had never gotten the chance to know when she was among the living.
She had learned much about her deceased aunt as they spent more and more time together. Even when it was on the battlefield, where they saved Ionians from those despicable Noxians or killing Noxian scouting parties, intent on either capturing Ionians as prisoners of war or finding weaknesses in what defenses the Ionians built up to hold back the Noxian tide, she learned who her aunt was as a living person and what she was now. Though she suspected the unease she had whenever her aunt appeared will never fully go away due to her status as an undead, an abomination to essentially all living things in Runeterra, Irelia was growing more and more comfortable to the presence and dreadful aura of her aunt. To the point that Irelia began to have a semblance of something that she thought she had lost forever. A family.
"It's good to see you again, Xan Keira." Said Irelia as she looked at her aunt, crossing her arms over her chest as the portal that Keira used to travel to her niece closed. Keira just nodded at her niece's words, but let a small smile grace her features.
"As it is to see you as well, Xan Irelia." Said Keira as she floated to her niece, causing ripples to form on the water as she floated above it. Stopping a few inches from her niece, Keira spoke again. "Milord has given me time for myself and I decided to spend that time with you, Irelia." Irelia let her smile widen at that, always happy to spend time with her aunt again.
"That is kind of him to do, given what you told me of him." Said Irelia as she looked at her aunt. Keira has spoken about her lord after the third visit that she received from her aunt. Irelia had asked her aunt who had been behind the creation of the creatures that she consistently had with her whenever she arrives to help Irelia with saving their people from Noxian pigs. Her aunt explained to her that they were a creation of her lord and master, the ruler of the death realm that she now calls home. She then explained to Irelia that her master wanted to test the Niskaru on the Noxians in Ionia to see how they fare in battle. The fact that they met each other on that same day for the first time was coincidence, though Keira admitted to Irelia that she was eternally grateful that it had happened because it allowed her to connect with her niece. Irelia, upon hearing all that, was both concerned and confused at her aunt's confession.
Confused in why this lord she followed wanted to test such monsters at the Noxians, not that she cared much about them, and concern in who this lord was and what they wanted. Keira didn't tell her why this lord was creating such monsters and testing their ability to fight. Nor did she tell her if he planned to conquer Ionia. She either merely told her that the Niskaru were simply a means to an end and that his lord had no intentions to do much with Ionia beyond the Noxian presence within it. She also told Irelia that her lord was a wise and reasonable ruler, despite his tendencies to be cruel and ruthless to his enemies. Those answers did nothing to appease Irelia's worries in the slightest. Nevertheless, Irelia enjoyed the time she spent with her aunt and wished that she had gotten to know her when she was alive and not as a Revenant. Not knowing her aunt when she alive had become one of Irelia's many regrets and also added another reason for her hatred for the Noxian dogs that invaded her home and killed her people.
"As I said before, milord is reasonable and care greatly for the loyalty of his followers." Said Keira as the two women looked at each other stoically for a few moments before Keira spoke again. "Anyway, if you do not mind and if there isn't anything that requires us to be in battle with the Noxian dogs that invade our homeland, I wish to simply relax and enjoy your company, my niece. If that is okay with you." Irelia blinked in surprise at her aunt's words before nodding.
"That would be enjoyable." Said Irelia. "The Noxians have been surprisingly quiet of late, at least in this region, so I decided to take some time to relax and meditate. But meditation is more enjoyable with family. Is it not?" Keira just nodded in agreement.
"Even more so when its family that wishes to be around each other. Unfortunately, due to my lack of legs, I believe it would be better if we practice our dances instead. And I do not mean our dances of war, but the dances we were taught to as children. From what I heard, you are well versed in the dances of our people. I was a prodigy in them as well. Shall we see which one of us is the superior dancer?" Though her tone was monotone, Irelia can see a small smile grace her aunt's features with a hint of competitiveness in her eyes. She wanted to see just how good Irelia was in dancing. Not as a weapon of war, but as an expression of herself. What Ionian dances were originally meant to be. An expression of a user's emotions and beliefs as well as a form of art.
To have a chance to perform what her dance was meant to do originally was something that Irelia rarely had the opportunity to do after the Noxian invasion. There was simply more important things to do over Irelia indulging herself on what she wanted to do more than anything in the world. To dance simply because she wanted to. Not because she needed to.
Not only that, but Irelia, for the longest time, didn't have the emotions necessary to perform the dance that she wanted to. War and tragedy has hardened her heart and soul to the point that she very rarely felt the joy and happinesses one needed if she wished to do the dances she wanted to. The dances she were taught as a young child were meant to express joy and how can she do that with her heavy heart.
Looking at her aunt, Irelia explained to her reluctantly why she cannot do what her aunt wants.
"I wish to do so, dear aunt, but I'm afraid I cannot do so." Said Irelia before explaining in detail. "The dances I was taught were meant to inspire happiness and joy to others and my heart is, unfortunately, too clouded with the darkness that comes from war and hate. I…don't think I can do the dances that I was taught as a child any longer." Keira just shook her head at that.
"You can." Said Keira. "Our dances were not just meant to inspire joy and happiness, Xan Irelia. They are also meant to express who we are as people. What we believe in and what we truly desire within our hearts. And even if your dance no longer contains the naivety and happiness it once held, your dances can still inspire the people as they were originally meant to do. Even while I was gone, I watched you from my lord's realm. I saw how our people look upon you as a symbol of hope and defiance against the Noxian dogs that slaughter our people and take our lands. You are a symbol of hope to our people. One that they hold onto as they fought against the Noxian invaders. And, when the Noxians are finally driven back from our ancestral homes, you will become a symbol of hope and of a better tomorrow for our people as we rebuild our lives. Perhaps things will not be as they once were, but that does not mean we cannot still inspire our people with our dances. Like you have done in these trying times."
Irelia was momentarily speechless at her aunt's words. Processing them, Irelia pondered on them for a few moments before letting a small smile grace her features.
"Xan Keira, I…" Irelia started to say but Keira interrupted her.
"You do not need to say anything, niece." Said Keira before partaking in a dancing stance. "Instead, speak them through your dance. Show me the hero that has inspired our people through these trying times. Show me what you now believe in and who you are as a person."
Hearing those words, Irelia soon adopted a dancing stance of her own.
"Then let us see our dances and show each other who we've become since the Noxians invaded our home." Said Irelia, a bit eager to see who Keira was as a person as well as she was going to dance as well, allowing Irelia to see who her aunt was now as a person since…becoming an undead spirit. Keira nodded at her niece's words before taking the first move.

Millie
"So this Runeterra is filled with magic!?" Yelled Millie as she looked at Morgana in shock. Morgana just smiled at Millie's shock at the revelation she was just told.
"That is correct." Said Morgana as she sat in front of Millie while Mordekaiser was standing and Moxxie was sitting next to his wife, chuckling a bit at her reactions to everything that Morgana was telling her. "As I said before, Runeterra is filled with magic. Magic that is both beautiful and also powerful as it is abundant in this world." She then lifted a palm and conjured dark flames upon it. "One must treat it all with the respect that is due to it. Otherwise, disaster can come from it." Millie looked at the dark flame in Morgana's hand in awe while Moxxie looked at his dad, standing watch over all of them. Not interacting with anyone in the slightest. Moxxie frowned at this before knocking on his dark armor, creating a loud echo as he did so, catching the attention of both Millie and Morgana.
"What is it you desire, Moxxie?" Asked Mordekaiser as he looked down at his son. Seeing the frown on his face, Mordekaiser spoke. "I don't have much to offer to this conversation beyond topics that would sabotage the merriment you feel now. I do not wish to do so."
"But you can still interact with us." Said Moxxie as he looked at his dad in exasperation. He really had no idea how to have a relaxing day with anyone. Maybe he should ask his dad what his life was like when he was alive. "You don't have to say anything, just…interact with us. You know, normal stuff that people do with their friends. Or just good acquaintances." Mordekaiser just starred at his son for a few moments before grunting and sitting next to Morgana, who smiled at his interaction with his son. She then watched him look at the lake in front of them before raising his left hand. Everyone then watched as three sizable orbs of a sickly green coloration raise up from the lake and float to them.
"You all seem to be parched." Said Mordekaiser as the orbs floated above the heads of Morgana, Moxxie, and Millie. "Do not be afraid of the water within. The magic confinement holding the water will not kill you. I even purified it of dirt and feces that have tainted the lake throughout the years of its existence."
"Uh…thanks." Said Millie slowly as she looked at her stepdad with a nervous smile at what he just said. He really was awkward when it came to normal social gatherings. She remembered how little he interacted with everyone at the Father's Day Barbecue aside from his parents and her most violent of siblings. Everyone else, aside from Moxxie, he just outright ignored or starred at with that faceless look he had back in his Rogier form, making them stop interact with him on account of how awkward and scared they were of him. Maybe he just liked interacting with violent and aggressive people more? That…would explain a lot actually.
Shaking her head in amusement at what Mordekaiser just did, Morgana thanked him for his kind gesture before cupping her heads and holding them up towards the orb above her, which was far enough from her that it wasn't trying to reach out and absorb her life force. Seeing this, Mordekaiser opened the orb a bit, causing clean water to fill up Morgana's cupped hand. Once her hands were sufficiently filled, Morgana began to drank her water. Appreciating the clean water gifted to her by her…well she supposed she can call Mordekaiser friend now, the winged woman looked at him with a smile before giving him a nod of thanks. Seeing Morgana do this, the Imps decided to also partake in the water given to them by the Iron Revenant. They were feeling a bit parched after all.
Cupping their hands, the Imps soon acquired the water from their orbs and drank the contents from their hands. Stunned at just how pure the water was, Imp City water typically wasn't the cleanest of things to drink, the two Imps looked at Mordekaiser, who just looked at Morgana getting a second handful of water. Smiling at his dad, Moxxie spoke to him.
"This is what I meant when I suggested we should take a day of relaxation, dad." Said Moxxie as his father turned to face him. "No plots to take over Hell. No humiliating Princesses and Overlords. No making people angry. Just us having a good time together, enjoying each other's company." Mordekaiser scoffed at that as he watched everyone drink the water he provided. Eventually, they all had their fill and soon the orbs dissipated.
"I didn't think you would possess the magical knowledge to purify water that well." Said Morgana as she looked at Mordekaiser with a small smile. "You continue to surprise me with your behavior, Mordekaiser."
"I learned much when I became what you see today." Said Mordekaiser simply. "A great deal of it being the magical arts, many of which have been lost to time and the Rune Wars." Morgana pursed her lips upon hearing that. The Rune Wars. A very…horrid time that Morgana would like to not be reminded of at all.
"Rune Wars?" Asked Millie in confusion as this was the first time she heard the term. Moxxie also looked confused about the Rune Wars, but had a feeling that he didn't want to know.
"Something that you shouldn't know yet." Said Mordekaiser simply. "That is if you wish to continue this day of relaxation and bonding in peace." That got Moxxie to shut up along with Millie. Looking at the trio of living beings before him, Mordekaiser spoke up again. "Is there anything else you all wish to discuss? About Runeterra?"
"Yeah, actually." Said Millie with a raised hand after a minute of silence. "Does Runeterra have dragons?" Mordekaiser looked at Morgana, who nodded a bit, before looking at Millie with a smile.
"We do. A great many, in fact." Said Morgana before explaining in detail.
Meanwhile
Irelia
"I missed this feeling." Thought Irelia as she danced in tandem with her aunt, their blades floating in sync with their movements. "The feeling of just dancing for the sake of dancing with no worries of what is to come tomorrow. If only my aunt can I can say the same for my aunt." She then looked at her aunt and saw her dance.
Keira had said that the dances of Ionia were meant to express who a person was and their beliefs. Well, Irelia can see who Keira was now with her dance.
While Keira's dance still held the gracefulness and beauty that came from the dances of Ionia, it held a more…sharper edge than even Irelia's own dance. Her dance held more sharp turns within its rhythm. More anger. Her dance belied a hurt and damaged soul filled with rage within her aunt, despite the general stoic nature of her aunt that she generally carried around her. A rage that Irelia knew too well. After all, she has a similar rage within her when it came to Noxus and its people.
It hurt Irelia a bit to see such a dance, especially when it came from her family. She wanted to go and comfort her aunt, to calm the rage within her soul, but a part of her, much to her shame, was unsure if she was the correct person to calm that rage. For the sheer reason that she simply didn't know her enough.
While she loved her aunt and wished to have her around more, Irelia simply didn't know enough about her aunt to believe she can fix her troubled soul. Her father never talked about her when he was still alive and neither did her grandmother. So, she didn't know what Keira was like as a person before Noxus took her away. To make matters worse, she didn't know how much Keira changed from that person when they did take her away and if even a small part of her was that same girl. Noxus had a way of changing people they invaded.
It hurt Irelia that she didn't know much of her aunt and it hurt her even more that she couldn't help her in the way she needed.
With a deep sigh of shame, Irelia continued her dance with her aunt, who seemingly didn't react to her sigh, simply intending on enjoying her presence for, despite her shame and concern for her aunt, Irelia was still deeply happy to have her around and prayed that someone can help calm the rage built within her soul. It wasn't the ideal of situations, but such things Irelia was used to dealing with since Noxus invaded Ionia.
Continuing her dance, Irelia soon focused on simply dancing and enjoying her aunt's company, even as a part of her was forever concerned with her aunt and her state of mind.

Mordekaiser
Night
"It's getting quite late." Said Morgana as she looked at the moon above them. She then looked at Millie and Moxxie, the two Imps showing fatigue and exhaustion despite their day of relaxation.
"Yeah, we should get back to Hell." Said Moxxie after he yawned a bit. "Got a big day of work tomorrow. Our boss no doubt has a big pile of work for us when we get back to work." Hearing the annoyance in Moxxie's voice, Morgana spoke up to him.
"Does your boss mistreat you?" Asked Morgana with a raised eyebrow. If he did, then he was going to have a talk with her. A very long talk.
"Not really." Said Moxxie, lying a bit to Morgana as he didn't want Blitzo to suffer Morgana's temper, even though a part of him wanted to see Blitzo piss and crap himself at seeing Morgana's rage at his treatment of Moxxie. That would be a sight to see for the little Imp. "He's just…annoying and irresponsible with money. That's all." Millie just smiled at her husband's words. She knew his grievances with Blitzo as a boss extended beyond his immaturity and his inability to handle their company's money, so Millie was happy that he decided not to rat out Blitzo to Morgana as Millie can tell from this one day meeting Morgana that she had a short fuse. For Satan's sake, she lost her temper four times at least once she learned how shitty life was in Hell, forcing them to move to a different part of the lake when her powers lit up in her anger. Hell, one of the patches of dirt and grass were still burning from one of the outbursts. And Millie thought she had anger issues.
Needless to say, it was a good call on Moxxie's part to not tell her about Blitzo's many faults. And Loona for that matter. At least until they can get a promise from her to not harm them when she meets them. Or anyone in Hell for that matter as she had a feeling that they had to keep her on a leash if Morgana ever decided to visit Hell.
"I see." Said Morgana as she heard what Moxxie just heard. She had a feeling that there was more than what he was telling her, but she refrained from asking. For now at least.
Turning to Mordekaiser, Morgana asked if he was taking them back to Hell, to which he replied yes.
"I'm taking them to my realm first before taking them back to Hell." Said Mordekaiser simply as he looked at Morgana. "So as to prevent people of Hell discovering our world." Morgana hummed at that, understanding what Mordekaiser was saying. Moxxie and Millie, however, groaned at that.
"That place is so fucking cold, stepdaddy." Said Millie, recalling the shivers she got just from being there. "Do we have to?"
"If you move quick, you won't suffer the adverse effects of my realm." Said Mordekaiser simply before opening a portal to Mitna Rachnun. "A portal leading to Hell will be on the other side. Get there quick and you will be fine. I will follow you soon shortly. I need to speak to Morgana privately." Upon hearing that, Millie smiled at him with a suggestive look on her face while Moxxie just nodded.
"Okay dad." Said Moxxie as he took his wife and headed to the sickly green portal before them. Just before they entered, Moxxie looked at his dad. "Thanks for the day, dad. Despite the hiccups today, I really enjoyed it and hope that we get to do it again later. Maybe after the Extermination?" Mordekaiser simply looked at his son. Seeing the hopeful and happy smile on his face made him stare at him for a few moments before nodding.
"Very well." Said Mordekaiser. "I'll see what day is suitable for us to do something akin to this again. Now go." Moxxie just nodded at that before taking his wife and leaving through the portal. Once they were gone, Morgana spoke.
"I truly appreciate this person you're becoming Mordekaiser." Said Morgana with a small smile on her face. Mordekaiser simply looked at her, causing her smile to go a bit bigger. "When we first met, I wanted to punish you for what you did to Moxxie on that fateful day. I only held back because of Moxxie. But now, I can see you improved much as a father since then. I'm proud of you." Mordekaiser gave a grunt at that.
"I did not improve for your approval." Said Mordekaiser simply, causing Morgana to chuckle.
"No." Agreed Morgana. "You approved for him." Mordekaiser looked at her briefly before speaking up again.
"Do you desire to meet with each other in a few days?" Asked Mordekaiser, deciding to put into effect her offer of meeting with each other now, rather than tomorrow. Morgana blinked at what she just heard before nodding.
"If that is alright with you." Said Morgana, seeing no harm in having him visit her again so soon. "You can bring Moxxie with you, if you desire. I have no qualms in it and I'm sure he would like to see me again."
"No." Said Mordekaiser simply, surprising Morgana. "Unless he wishes to do so, let us have our meeting together be ourselves and ourselves alone. As you said before, you desire to know me as an individual. Instead of the Iron Revenant or as a father. Did you not?" Morgana, processing his words, just smiled at what she heard before speaking.
"I did." Said Morgana with a small smile. "So I did. Do you desire to know me as an individual as well? Rather than as the Winged Protector of Demacia and a friend of your son?"
"Perhaps." Said Mordekaiser. "In the end, it matters little to me. I merely do this to indulge you and Moxxie. Nothing more." Even as the words came out of his mouth, Morgana knew that he didn't truly mean those words. The Iron Revenant, for all his talks of not caring, truly did enjoy spending time with his son and her. Even if he didn't realize it.
Morgana just shook her head at this before bidding him farewell. Mordekaiser just gave a grunt at her words before taking the portal home, which closed once he was through, leaving Morgana alone with her thoughts.
Sighing to herself, Morgana thought of Mordekaiser and how to best prepare to meet with him in a few days from now. It wouldn't do to have a meeting with someone and not have a plan in mind. It also didn't help that she was actually looking forward to meeting with Mordekaiser and getting to know him as a person. He was, for all his faults, a good man. At least so far from what she seen of him. She hoped that her meetings with him will not change that opinion of him. For one reason or another.
