"I-I failed?..." The second quint said in shock. Her sisters also turned to her, except Yotsuba who said "I don't need a tutor. This didn't have to be that way if you just accepted Fuutarou-kun's help..." mimicking Nino's tone and manner of speech, clearly mocking her sister before returning to looking at the window with the old photo of her and a young Fuutarou.

As she looked at the window, a tear formed in her eye as she looked at the photo. 'I want to see you again...I'm sorry that I didn't fulfill my promise Fuutarou-kun' she thought as she held the photo that was in her hand tighter.

"D-doesn't that mean you'll get held back?" Itsuki asked her sister with a worried tone. She, Miku and Ichika were worried for their butterfly ribboned sister. They were also worried about the possibility that they'll need to transfer again. The car ride back to their apartment was silent as the minds of the three started to think of some plans to help their sister to avoid being held back.

After a few minutes, the Quints arrived at their home but there was someone unexpected inside their apartment.

"Ah... Welcome home girls" there stood Maruo Nakano wearing an apron and holding a frying pan looking like he just finished cooking. "I have prepared dinner already, so you girls should get changed as we also have an important matter to discuss later." The man in an apron said as he started to set up the table. The aroma of the food quickly entered their noses, especially Itsuki who rushed to her room to get changed as her sisters followed.

After changing clothes, the complete Nakano family were now on the table enjoying a rare dinner together. As they took a bite, their eyes widened from how delicious the food was. From the smell earlier they knew the food was going to be good, but they didn't expect it to be on a level that it looked like it was from a five star restaurant. It was easy to say that the six enjoyed the meal as Maruo saw his youngest daughter devour the food he made, he smiled internally seeing them enjoying their meal.

One satisfying meal later, and with very little small talk interrupting it, the Nakano household sat around the couches, content with the meal.

"So... how has everyone been?" He asked, causing his daughters to flinch, causing his heart ache a bit. He should've visited more frequently. Before Fuutarou resigned as his daughter's tutor, he suggested that he should check on them more often as he didn't even know that two of his daughters ran away from home. Resulting in him taking off work earlier than usual.

"T-things have been going well, father." Itsuki responded as her sisters nodded.

"Good to hear that. How about your exams?" He asked, causing all of them to flinch. He already knew their results as a teacher informed him about Nino's test results but he wanted to ask them personally.

"I-it was fine, father..."

"Good... Although for Nino-ku-. I mean Nino, a teacher informed me earlier that you failed your exams, resulting in you needing to take make-up exams this January. Was Uesugi-kun's teachings insufficient?"

"Excuse me, father..." Yotsuba raised her hand making her sisters and father look in her direction.

"Hm? What is it Yotsuba?" He asked his fourth daughter.

"Fuutarou-kun's tutoring helped a lot. I didn't even think I could even pass!" She said, causing Maruo to nod slowly thinking that it was a good decision to hire Fuutarou. "But... Nino didn't really appreciate his presence... She even tried to kick him out... She even used sleeping drugs on him!"

As she said that, Maruo's face immediately showed an emotion as his eyes slightly widened, causing her sisters, especially Nino to sweat nervously. They didn't expect Yotsuba to tell their father what happened when they first met. Still he knew that his daughter did not like strangers, he didn't expect her to use the sleeping medication he gave her whenever she had trouble falling asleep.

"Nino." She flinched, looking away. "From Yotsuba's words, It seems that you are the only one with any issues with Uesugi-san. May I ask why?"

"B…Because he's a stranger! He's… he's a stranger that came into our home, our place," she protested.

"He is not a stranger. And even if he is, then would drugging him be the right choice? What you had done was punishable by law." He said, causing Nino to sweat nervously.

"Also, I believe some of you girls have already met him in Kyoto."

Yotsuba and Ichika looked in stunned silence at their father, both of them remembering the Kyoto trip from five years ago like it was yesterday.

"I also believe that I took a photo of him with one of you girls." He said as he took out his phone and scrolled down to a certain folder where it held various pictures of the Kyoto trip they took five years ago. As the quints saw the pictures, they had a quick feeling of nostalgia from seeing them until they arrived a certain picture. It was the same picture that Yotsuba took from Nino where she took it from handbook. A cheerful pink haired girl, and a blond boy that had a scowl on his face. And on that day, that fateful meeting had caused change in her life.

"This blonde boy that looked like he always had a scowl on his face is the same Uesugi-kun. It screamed of his father's influence that I didn't even need to think twice to tell that he was his child. And if you girls do not believe me then let me tell you a story... A story of a blonde meatheaded buffoon and a brainy student council president." Maruo said as his voice started to drift.

Currently, two blonde girls, one with a sidetail and another with short hair, were waiting for someone in a park.

"Raiha-chan said she'll meet us soon!" Said Haruka excitedly as she played on the swings.

"Are you sure you aren't waiting for Fuutarou?" She teased her sister causing her to stop playing and hide her face in embarrassment. Truthfully she was also looking forward to meeting the young man as they haven't seen him for a few days already.

The two blondes spent ten minutes together, until a little girl with a ponytail wearing simple light blue jeans accompanied by a white shirt.

"Haru-nee, Aki-nee!" The little girl said as she gave a hug to each of the blonde with them returning it as well.

"Alright, let's go to the arcade again!" Haruka said, resulting in a happy smile from Raiha while Aki grinned deviously as she'll show off her skills in the games to the young girl.
