In just a short ride, Fuutarou arrived at the Pentagon with the box of cake in his hands. Entering the building, he then went to the elevator to reach their floor.

After arriving, he came out of the elevator and walked towards their door with the box of cake in hand. Opening the door, he was hugged by a bunny ribboned quint who placed her face on his chest.

"Fuutarou! I'm happy that you're here!" She said while giggling happily. Thankfully the cake was safe from her hug. Every time he arrives in their apartment, he was always met by Yotsuba who immediately hugs him as he entered like she already knew who was behind the door.

"Same here, Yotsuba." He said while patting her head as she continued to press her face into his chest. The young man was now unbothered by her actions as she did this every single time he visits for a tutoring session.

"What's in the box Fuutarou?" The bunny ribboned girl asked the young man as she pointed at the box of cakes he bought for them.

"It's a reward for you girls since all of you were studying hard so I bought some cake." He said as he entered the apartment and placed the box on the table.

"You said cake?!", Itsuki asked with her eyes sparkling and her ahoge wagging like a dog's tail as she ran down the stairs and to the table with plates and forks in hand.

"Yep and I bought extra slices just for you." he said with a smile, making her blush from the thought of him buying extra slices exclusively for her.

As Itsuki had already taken a slice of red velvet cake, strawberry and chocolate cake when the other three sisters joined them. Fuutarou then gave each quint two slices of cake. Ichika with a coffee sponge cake, Nino got strawberry shortcake, Miku got matcha cheesecake, Yotsuba an orange cake and him a simple chocolate cake.

"Ara~ How did you know that I like coffee sponge cakes, Fuutarou-kun?"

"This doesn't taste bad... I'm surprised that you know what we like."

"Mhm I really like this cheesecake Fuutarou." Miku said as she savored the matcha cheesecake.

"This is a really good Fuutarou! Thanks for the food!" Yotsuba said as she hugged the young man.

"Itsuki slow down, you got cream on your face." Fuutarou said as he wiped the cream off using his thumb before licking it. All five were caught off guard by his actions, especially Itsuki, who was blushing profusely while smoke came out of her ears.

"Uhm... Ah..." She couldn't even say a word after what had happened while her sisters just watched.

"Oh my... I think Itsuki got short circuited." Ichika commented feeling jealous and wanted to be wiped as well.

"Fuutarou... I have some on me as well..." Miku said as she purposely put some of the cream on her cheeks as well.

"Fuutarou! Me too! Wipe me too!" Yotsuba said as she followed her sister.

Fuutarou then proceeded to wipe their cheeks in an affectionate manner like he had done with Itsuki, making them smile happily.

Meanwhile the Kawano quintuplets were in the break room sitting in a circle.

"I know why he chose to tutor them again." Aki said as she put on a serious tone.

"You do?!" Haruka said as she and her sisters are now focusing to what Aki would say next

"Mhm. The father of those quints came to talk to him when we were at his home. I'm guessing he convinced Darling to tutor his daughters again."

"Does this mean... he won't be around here anymore?" Tsuyu said in a downhearted tone.

" No way! He hasn't said anything about quitting! He's still going to work here!" Haruka said as she crossed her arms and pouted.

"Yeah, but for how long? I'm almost certain those quints will take up his time depending on how much they need his help."

"This means... we have to do our best to make him stay with us." Yuki said with a look of determination.

"Then let's make some plans to make him not quit. I already have one in mind." Rikka said as they listened to her plan as the other four nodded, agreeing to her plan for a way to spend more time with the young man.

"Hmmm..." Yuki hummed as she looked at some shelves. Today was December 24 and they had planned to celebrate it at Fuutarou's home. They of course informed Raiha and Isanari but not Fuutarou as they wanted it as a surprise for him.

They also talked about buying gifts for him as a thank you for his help at their store. But that wasn't the only reason as they all harbored feelings for the young man and they were all open to it to one another that they even agreed on sharing him with one another.

"Why did we spit up..." Yuki sighed as she wasn't the type that picks out gifts for someone as she usually bought something similar from the item her sister bought which resulted in her not being able to buy stuff alone. But when it comes to art materials, she's the one who knows best.

She was planning to get him a shirt but thought that it was too simple and her sisters may have already bought one, so she decided to find something else to buy. As she continued to roam the store, she noticed an interesting bookshop that was advertising some kind of romance novel called 'The Needy Nonuplets'. She thought that it sounded interesting and decided to enter it in search of a gift as she knew that Fuutarou does like to read books from time to time.

While walking in between the shelves of books that reached to the ceiling of the store, she noticed a particular redheaded girl with a pair of blue headphones around her neck who had a book in her hand.

She walked behind the girl and looked over her shoulder to see what book she was holding, "Japanese warlords, huh? What an interesting topic." she whispered.

The girl jumped as she heard her comment. She looked at the blonde girl that had crimson red eyes and she had to admit that she was quite a beauty.

"I'm sorry... I was just curious about what book you were holding because I'm thinking of getting a friend one as a gift." Yuki apologized for surprising the young redhead.

"It's fine, and does your friend like history by any chance?" She asked.

"I don't really know but he does read a lot of books. Sometimes it was math then it was history and sometimes novels but I usually see him with books related to school." She replied remembering the books Fuutarou would read during his break when she was on shift in the convenience store. "I don't really have a lot of knowledge about books except ones in school and I'm usually more active on art related things... You seem like someone who knows a lot about books so could you please help me in choosing a book?"
