Intense and Unexpected Manly Moment on the Bus

Morning has come about an hour ago with the sun high in the sky and on the road where the bus of Shizuka and the others are still on, as always, the vehicles are moving very slow to get out while Shido was going about finding a safe place. But very little few like Saya, Yui, and Saeko are ignoring him while Kohta is still sleeping with a little drool coming out from his mouth.

"Hirano, stop." Saya nudged her elbow on the round young man.

"Takagi, morning. Is it time to get up already?" Kohta asked.

"Yes, it's morning and you're drooling." Saya said.

"Sorry." Kohta apologized as he wipes the drool away with his arm and look out the window.

"As you can see, the traffic is still going slow, and it'll still be a long while too." Yui stated.

"I think it's better to evacuate to the suburbs." Kohta said.

"Cars are not the only way to get outta here." Saya said as she points up at the sky when she noticed an airplane in the sky.

"The airport in the ocean, you're right." Kohta realized.

"It's far too dangerous to be anywhere in the city. I bet a bunch of people are trying to escape to some island, or some isolated area with some kind of strong military presence or something." Saya assumed.

"Like Okinawa? But the American military that's stationed there isn't there to fight…" Kohta said until he realizes something else.

"If you're guessing the Special Self-Defense Force, then you're most likely right. That would also mean the military is taking appropriate measures for Hokkaido or Kyushu as well, but that doesn't mean we can get to them because it's already too late." Yui explained.

"Huh, what do you mean too late?" Kohta confused.

"Listen here, what we're talking about is that the area with a heavy presence of Self-Defense Forces and American military may be managing to keep those zombies under control, but I'm sure they've already started to adopt a stern policy toward letting anybody else in." Saya stated.

"And it won't just be here in Japan, it'll happen all over the world too like if the whole world started to seclude themselves meaning they will want to keep their community as small as possible." Yui pointed out.

"Wow, you two are being serious in this conversation." Kohta commented.

"Of course, we're serious and it's also because we're warning you as Shido is already trying to do that." Yui looked behind seeing Shido doing his sinister sweet talk with one of the students.

"Although I doubt, he knows it himself that it's already in him." Saya said.

"Should I interrupt them?" Kohta asked readying his nail-gun.

"Forget the pervy teacher and slutty little Sally over there." Saya turned down the temptation to beat the living Hell out of Shido.

"I believe we should focus on only trusting those we can actually trust like I'm trusting with you two throughout this talk we're having." Yui suggested.

"Jeez, if Cruz was here then I sure he would agree as well since he showed us how much he doesn't like Shido anyway." Saya sighed.

"Oh yeah, that punch he threw was awesome! Bet that made you fall for him even more, huh?" Kohta teased.

"Don't be ridiculous!" Saya denied despite her blushing face.

"My, my, it would seem the smarty princess is turning red like a tomato." Yui giggled teasing.

"Shut up, I'm not blushing or anything!" Saya snapped.

"It sure looks that way to me." Saeko said as she and Shizuka are standing close to them surprising Saya that they heard all of that talk about Cruz.

"I'm getting worried about Cruz and the others; I hope they can hold on till we meet up." Saeko hoped.

"I'm sure it'll be fine; I may not know Cruz much but it's the smartest boy I know." Shizuka assured.

"You damn right, he is." Saya pouted.

(With Cruz's Group)

In another part of the city where Cruz and the girls are riding the motorcycle through the streets hoping to find a path where they can meet up with the others, but they stop upon seeing a crazy scene of people killing each other like madmen.

"Whoa, and I thought I have rough mornings." Eve surprised.

"This is absolutely insane, it's like a war." Rei commented gasping.

"Not sure if that's the word for it, but probably just as insane or much worst." Ranko stated.

"They're not going to shoot us if they see us, right?" Yukana asked worry.

"I'm afraid they are considering their current behavior and such, they won't care if we're alive and such because all they care about now is just killing and more killing." Cruz glared as Nene hugs him a little tighter for comfort.

"Then couldn't we just find another way to get to the bridge?" Eve asked.

"According to Cruz's good memories and knowledge of the city's layouts, this is the shortest way for us." Nene answered.

"No choice but to charge in full blast." Ranko said readying the engine of her bike.

"Meaning we might not be able to trust anyone except ourselves." Rei worried.

"Come on, Rei. We have to move forward in order to meet up with the others." Cruz said giving her a determine look.

Rei hesitated at first of wanting to go into the mayhem as those insane men would shoot them the moment they enter the fray, but she also knew the Cruz is right that they have get through that street and put on a brave face for him.

"Okay, let's go!" Rei declared and rode toward the danger with Ranko quickly following.

As expected, the insane men saw the group coming and they start shooting at them which Rei and Ranko did their best to dodge them while trying to use the cars and other vehicles in the area as shields from bullets.

"Hey, you shitheads! Try shooting at this!" Eve threw a knife at one man with a snake tattoo on his back on the leg causing him to fall and scream in pain.

"Nice, where did you learn how to throw a knife like that?" Nene amazed.

"I just have my moment, Meme Balloon." Eve shrugged.

"Again, my name is Nene." Nene reminded.

"Hey wait, wasn't that one of the knives I used for my shoes?" Yukana asked.

"We'll worry about that later." Ranko said.

The group managed to get past the mayhem of the street and are making their way to the bridge though Ranko saw what was going on from a distance.

"Everyone, stop!" Ranko shouted.

This surprised them, but Rei did just that none the less unless Ranko has something that could be troubling and wants to know what they are.

"Ranko, what's up? Why are we stopping?" Rei asked.

"I don't think we'll be able to cross this bridge anytime soon." Ranko pointed ahead to where the bridge is.

Cruz and the girls saw what Ranko is seeing and become shocked of the bridge being over crowed with people trying to get across, and the police seems to be doing more harm than good as they also saw some teenagers trying to force their way through only to knocked off the bridge by their water gun.

"Holy shit, talk about watering down the troubles." Eve gulped.

"And with the pace they're going, it would seem it's gonna take all day too." Cruz stated.

"No way, but we promise the others to meet them on the other side of the bridge." Rei worried.

"Hey, there's more than on bridge in the area, right? So, let's go see if any of them are open for us to cross." Yukana suggested.

"Good idea, let's go that way then." Cruz pointed the way, and everyone drove off to the next bridge they can find.

(With Saya and Others)

Shido is still going on with his nonsense speech again to the students who are caught in the trance of his words, and even mentioning about Cruz and the three girls who left the bus as they were unfit to join this "family" while Saya and the others are getting sick of his talk.

"Gosh, this man is a totally maniac." Saya commented.

"You got that right. Sounds like he's a recruiter for some kind of cult religious group." Saeko agreed.

"I believe it's more like he is than the words coming out of his mouth." Yui stated.

"Yeah, look at the slobbering idiots hinging on his every word. Like a bunch of scientologists or rather, Shido-tologists. I need to get out of here." Saya said, finally having enough of this guy.

"Given the conditions of the road, looks like we're going to have to give up our ride." Saeko stated as she looks outside.

"We have to somehow get across Onbetsu Bridge and head to the east police station. We're still supposed to meet up with Cruz." Saeko stated.

"Hmm, you're sure quite concerned about Cruz, aren't you? Aren't you worried about your own family?" Saya asked, getting her turn to tease as a little revenge from earlier.

"Of course, I am, but my family is my only family, and he's at the dojo overseas. So, the only people I really need to be worrying about right now is my myself and Cruz along with his girlfriend Nene who is really cute. I really don't care about anybody else." Saeko answered calmly.

This surprises Saya as this was not the kind of reaction she was hoping for, but she kept a calm down though her eyes twitch a bit.

"And just look at me. I mean, seriously, if any of us are going to make it out of here alive… It's going to be me." Saeko proclaimed.

"(Damn, this cheeky bitch.)" Saya thought laughed nervously.

"So, where is everyone's house?" Shizuka asked as Kyoko is listening in on this conversation.

"The other side of the bridge; the same area with Cruz's, and no doubt he is still worrying about his older sister." Saya answered.

"I don't live in that area, but I know a few relatives who are." Yui mentioned.

"Oh, my parents are not in the neighborhood, but I-I'd go anywhere as long as I'm with Yui Kashi." Kohta confessed shocking Yui making her blush.

"W-Well, not that I mind?" Yui pressed her fingers together.

"Wait, you can't be serious?" Saya shocked.

"So, tell me, Hirano, where's your family? Are they close?" Saeko asked curiously.

"My father is a jewelry merchant, so he's gone to Amsterdam to buy stones. My mother is a fashion designer, so she's been staying in Paris, to"

"Fucking Christ!" Saya snapped, interrupting Kohta's talk about his parents.

"Do you expect us to believe all that crap?!" Saya asked, not believing even if this.

"Actually, they're all true about his parents. I read about them in his student file." Kyoko mentioned causing Saya to gasp and Shizuka laughs.

"And if it were a manga, Daddy would be the captain of a cruise ship, a giant luxury liner!" Shizuka joked.

"My grandpa actually was, and my grandmother was a concert violinist." Kohta laughed.

"Wow, you really have an interesting family." Yui complimented.

"So, what are we going to do? I want to come along with all of you." Shizuka said making her decision.

"Are you sure?" Saya asked.

"Both of my parents passed away years ago,and my relatives live far away. I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I… I think Mr. Shido is kind of a douchebag." Shizuka explained.

"I hope you got room for one more. I'm honestly starting to feel less and less respective for Mr. Shido, and to think I once saw him as a good teacher." Kyoko said as she wants to leave too.

This surprises the four students a little and they laugh a little of knowing there are others who don't like Shido very much as they do.

"So, what do we do? I'm not very familiar with this area?" Saeko asked.

"We really need to check on Onbetsu Bridge first." Saya said.

Then Shido notice that group is talking to themselves and not listening to him.

"Huh, what's the matter everyone?" Shido asked getting their attention.

"We need to work together, otherwise none of us are ever-"

"Will you shut that fucking mouth of yours, dipshit." Yui insulted shocking Shido.

"Wow, could have say anything better myself." Saya impressed as Yui gave her a thumb up.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm gonna pass, Mr. Shido." Saya said turning down the offer like throwing a rock at a glass window.

"We got our own plans. And FYI, this is no fieldtrip. I have no obligation to be with you, I never had any classes with you anyway." Saya stated.

"Not to mention you're just a bitch of a creep." Yui added.

"I see…" Shido looked at that small group in the eyes, seeing that they all want to leave even Kyoko and Shizuka.

"If that's what you've decided, go right ahead. I won't stop you, Takagi. How could I? This is a free country, not some sort of iron-fisted dictatorship." Shido said with his creepy and evil smile.

"(He says he's letting us go, but I think he's gonna try to keep one of us here.)" Yui thought glared at Shido.

"However…" Shido paused for a second as he lick his lips.

"I'm afraid you will have to remain, Miss Marikawa." Shido proclaimed causing Shizuka to gasp.

"Now, hold on a moment." Kyoko protested this, but Shido choose to ignore her.

"Losing the doctor is a major blow to our current situation. Would you please stay? What do you say?" Shido asked as he walks forward.

"There are students who are relying on you." Shido pointed out.

Shido knows who airheaded and an idiot Shizuka can be, but her knowledge in the field of medicines is top notch which is something he cannot lose along with that goddess like body that should only his alone to feel.

Suddenly, his dangerous thoughts were interrupted by a nail fired close to his face that left a small scratch and onto a seat, and he saw the shooter to be Kohta with his nail-gun.

"Y-You shot at me?" Shido shocked as well as the other students behind him.

"I missed you on purpose. You douchebag." Kohta said in a low tone.

"But y-you're not a violent student like that…" Shido tried to reason with this chubby boy.

"How many of my fellow students do you think I killed in school yesterday?" Kohta asked with a serious look in his eyes.

"And I could kill you too for all the ways you always made fun of me!" Kohta yelled, letting out his inner rage.

"I was holding back… I was holding back for a long time. I was holding it back because I just wanted to have a normal life, but there's no need to do that anymore!" Kohta revealed.

"Nothing we know is normal anymore! That's why I'm able to kill now." Kohta smirked and aimed his nail-gun at Shido making him step back a foot.

"I can even kill living people too. Maybe start by the ones who made fun of me!" Kohta glared at Shido.

"I made fun of you? You misunderstood; I've always held you in such high esteem." Shido proclaimed, which he is lying to save his own skin.

Shido never knew that Kohta Hirano, the chubby student who would always let others pick on him and make jokes about his appearance for fun, and the student who he didn't seem to care most of the time is actually standing up for himself and very serious about killing him should Shido tried anything at him.

"Oh wow, that is very awesome, Kohta!" Yui amazed blushing.

"If you want to go, now's the time to do it. I'll make sure he doesn't stop you." Kohta said to the group behind him.

"Sure, no need to tell me twice." Yui nodded as she excitingly jumps out of the bus.

"I never knew he had it in him." Kyoko surprised as she walks out of the bus with Shizuka behind him.

"You're such a man, I'm impressed." Saeko grinned before exiting the bus with Shizuka following.

Kohta exit the bus while still looking at Shido and his brainwashed followers as the man himself watches in anger that he had to forced himself to lose the beautiful nurse all because of one chubby student to attack him like that.

Just like how Cruz Schild punched him yesterday.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
