Zombie Fighting Group Reunion on a Bridge
"Fucking damn it, same with this one too." Ranko angered as she and the others have come across another bridge that is also blocked out.
"Wow, it seems like today luck is just not on our side." Eve exclaimed.
"Hey, let's not give up hope. Why don't we try going to another bridge?" Rei suggested.
"I'm afraid that won't do either, probably every bridge around this city is blocked. Meaning we're stuck where we are." Cruz stated sadly.
"What about swimming in the water, wouldn't that get there?" Nene asked.
"Whoa, wait a minute, girl. Won't that be like super dangerous if we try swimming in that rushing water?" Yukana worried.
"That's also true, with how it's looking right now we wouldn't be able to get there if we wanted to and just be wash up in the current." Cruz pointed out.
"Oh man, so this is really the end of the road for us?" Eve winced.
"I wish there was a way…" Rei said.
"Sorry to burst your bubbles, but there isn't and you're gonna have to live with it or wince like a bitch all day." Ranko stated harshly.
"Excuse me? Since when I have ever been a bitch to you?" Rei snapped.
"How about right now?" Ranko glared.
"Girls, please stop! You both should know better that we need each other to survive, if we fight amongst each other now then we might as well be dead now." Cruz stopped the fight before it could happen.
Ranko and Rei still glare at each other though have taken what Cruz said to heart realizing that fighting each other would indeed bring death to them even before the zombies could bite them, and they have also been traveling together like friends. So, the least they can do for one another is to try their best in helping each other out, especially when they need it now in this zombie crisis.
"Wow, you're seriously amazing, Cruz!" Yukana complimented.
"You think so?" Cruz asked.
"Yeah, normally it would only be me that can calm down Ranko whenever she gets like super piss, but you were able to calm her down. That means she has taken a liking to you." Yukana giggled.
"Hold on, you're the only one I care for the most." Ranko stated while her cheeks are blushing.
"(There's that jealous feeling again, does that mean these girls will start to fall for him?)" Nene thought worried and decided to talk with Cruz about this once they're in a safe place.
"Oh man, it's already past seven." Cruz checked the time on his phone seeing it's 7:04pm.
"Didn't you guys say something about trying to meet up with some friends around that time at the police station?" Eve asked, trying to remember the plan she was informed before.
"That was the plan, but with the bridges out, I'm afraid we may never meet up with the others." Cruz feared.
"Oh no, that means we'll never be able to regroup with the others." Nene worried.
"I just hope the ones we like left the bus, having some decent sense that Shido is a no-good bastard." Ranko said.
"That we can agree on." Rei nodded.
"But wait, did they get off the bus after crossing the bridge or before?" Yukana asked.
"Uh, I haven't considered that before." Cruz admitted.
Suddenly they heard something loud from a not-too-far distance surprising the little group.
"Gunshot?!" Rei gasped, fearing that another insane person is coming for the.
"No, that doesn't sound like a normal gunshot. It's softer and had an extra sound in it too, almost like a makeshift gun." Cruz said as he starts to recognize the sound from before.
"Sounds like it's nearby too, like maybe to the next bridge." Eve pointed out.
"Meaning there could be survivors!" Nene shocked.
"Or maybe some other survivors we know, come on!" Ranko flooded the motorcycle going in the direction where that sound came from with Rei right behind her.
(With Saya and Others)
When Kohta and few girls left the bus to find their own way to meet up with Cruz and the girls with him, they had hope to find a pathway to make it to the other side so they can get to the police station, but unfortunately, they found the bridge has been closed off and zombies are now attacking them.
"Get back!" Yui shouted as she swung her metal bat that she found after leaving the bus, knocking down one zombie.
"I didn't know you knew baseball?" Saeko surprised.
"My dad used to make me play in case I ever became interested in sports. Imagine his shock when I said no." Yui explained before smacking down another zombie.
"Um, hey, maybe we were better off staying on the bus with Mr. Shido." Shizuka started to regret leaving the bus with the others.
"Please, I wouldn't want to spend another second with that man." Kyoko stated, angry at Shizuka for thinking like that.
"Hey, no need to get angry at me. Just throwing it out there." Shizuka stuttered nervously.
"Hold on, weren't you the one who said that you thought he was a douchebag?" Saya reminded the nurse of those words she said.
"As a matter of face, I did, but he wouldn't be the first douchebag I was stuck on a bus with." Shizuka said.
Saeko is making sure not to separate herself from the group while knocking down some zombies with her strong and quick sword attack, Yui tries her best to knock some down while Kohta is shooting some nails right in the head as the three fighters back away.
"Just to let you know, I'm running out of nails." Kohta informed.
Saeko smack one zombie down and heard some coming at her from behind as she twirls around and knock that one down.
"Do you want to borrow this or Yui's bat?" Saeko asked.
"I really don't do hand-to-hand combat." Kohta winced.
"I can't say the same… I'm actually quite fond of it!" Saeko declared before charging in to fight off more of the zombies.
"(Now I'm suddenly feel scared of that girl.)" Kyoko thought scared of Saeko of her love of fighting.
(With Cruz's Group)
Cruz and the girls are hurrying to wear the soft gunshot sounds are coming from and they look up seeing it's at the bridge in front of them.
"It's coming from up there!" Cruz pointed at the bridge.
"Okay, we found then but how the heck are we going to get up there?" Yukana asked.
"Why not just use that truck for the extra boost." Eve suggested and pointed at the parked truck with the metal ram with the angle up towards the bridge.
"Hold on, that's crazy! I'm not even sure if we can actually make it." Rei concerned.
"No, we will make it." Cruz said serious shocking Rei.
"Are you sure?" Nene asked.
"Yeah, I've done the math and you girls would need to put these bikes into maximum speed which should get us onto that bridge." Cruz explained his calculations.
"But what would happen if we don't?" Eve asked.
"Well, we might get splatted on the side of the bridge and fall on this street, feeling majorly pain." Cruz answered.
"Dang, that's a bummer." Yukana exclaimed.
"But it's not like we got any other choice, the others will die if we don't do something like right now!" Yukana stated strongly.
"Are you really serious with going along with this?" Rei asked shock.
"She's right, it's do or die time!" Ranko excited as she thrust the bike to go at full speed.
"Come on, Rei! We have to catch up with the others or else they'll die!" Nene begged.
Rei believes this plan is stupid that it may never work though she couldn't ignore the friends up there she made, and Cruz is the smartest boy she knows, so she got to at least believe in Cruz that everything will work out fine in the end and NOT die.
"Alright, let's go!" Rei shouted going at full speed on the bike.
(Back with Saya's Group)
"Saya! Hurry and give the nails to Kohta now!" Yui shouted.
"Hey, don't yell at me! I was just about to do that!" Saya yelled and hurry reaching into the bag for the nails.
"Here, Kohta!" Saya pulled out the extra nails and was about to toss them.
But Shizuka jump in fear when one zombie got too close to her and fell right on top of Saya with her face under the nurse's giant boobs, Kyoko was about to go help them though the zombies are closing in on them.
"Saya!" Yui gasped.
"Oh no." Saeko cursed that she won't make it in time.
Then the sounds of two motorcycles can be heard as Cruz's group went onto the ram of the truck and flew high landing onto the bridge.
"What do you know, it really worked!" Rei shocked and took her pole from the sidecar.
"Eve, take over!" Rei said before jumping off.
"Hey, wait, I don't even know how to ride a motorcycle!" Eve panicked as she grabs the steering handle trying to get this thing to stop.
Ranko stops her bike as she and Yukana got off to help fend off the zombies stabbing them down with the knives and hammbers, Rei twirls her pole around strong to knock down four zombies and pierce through one in the head.
Kohta found his nail is now empty and toss it aside as he backs away from a few zombies slowly approaching him with no weapons to defend himself.
"Kohta, catch!" Cruz threw the gun Rei found in that police car to Kohta.
Kohta saw the gun and his crazy smirks appears again as he catches it in his hand then fires two bullets at two zombies as one flew through one of Nene's ponytails.
"Double tap, baby." Kohta said.
"HOW DO I STOP?!" Eve screamed driving the motorcycle out of control.
She bumps into one of the cars that causes the sidecar to break off making Cruz and Nene to crash onto some zombies as they hurry off before that could happen.
"Okay, maybe it wasn't a good idea to let Eve drive." Cruz groaned.
"You think…?" Nene dizzied.
Saeko saw Eve coming at her as she tries desperately to stop though the swordswoman had other plans.
"Eve, grab my hand!" Saeko called out.
Eve was busy panicking to listen what Saeko just said though she did extend her arm which she grabs to be spin around fast to send four zombies flying and off the bridge they fell into the water and Eve finally stop the bike by crashing onto a car.
"Please… Stop…" Eve groaned begging.
"Amazing!" Shizuka amazed of how all everyone took care of the zombies.
"I don't think my heart will ever stop worrying like this." Kyoko sighed almost fainting, but she kept herself up.
"Looks like it's all cleared for now." Saeko said as she doesn't see any more zombies around nor more coming.
"They sure were tough to beat." Shizuka commented.
"Tough for anybody but you, maybe." Saya rolled her eyes.
"The important thing is that we're all alive." Yui believed strongly.
"Miss Shizuka!" Rei smiled and jumped to Shizuka for a happy reunion.
"Oh, Miyamoto, what a coincident!" Shizuka smiled, happy to see her as well.
"That's what a coincidence." Rei corrected, muffled when her face went down onto Shizuka's breasts.
"You two as well, I'm so happy all of you are safe!" Shizuka said cheerfully as Cruz and Nene walks up to them.
"Hey, are we still alive?" Eve asked.
"Hey, who is that?" Saya asked about the new face.
"Her name is Eve and she just joined us last night, and I'm really glad to see you're all okay." Cruz said, feeling relief like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders.
"We're happy to see you're alive too, but this means that Tokonosu Bridge is also blocked." Saeko guessed.
"Yeah, which means we're stuck in this part of town." Ranko annoyed of this situation.
"Now we just need to find shelter for the night because this is really stressing me out." Yukana exclaimed.
"Hey Kohta, what are you doing?" Nene asked, noticing that Kohta is not joining in on the conversation with the others.
"Whoa!" Kohta shouted with joy and excitement over the gun.
"Cruz, what is this?! How did you get it?! Where are the extra bullets?! This is Smith & Wesson's M38 Airweight that the police use, right?" Kohta asked exciting.
"Oh my, he's like a little kid getting a new toy." Yui giggled.
"Yeah, a dangerous toy." Kyoko gulped.
Everyone went down to the river for some of them to clean themselves off from the dirt and sweat while Saeko starts explaining to Cruz about why they're here and not on the bus.
"We got off the bus because the road was blocked, but we haven't been able to cross the river." Saeko said.
"Did one of you at least gave the bitch Shido a good punch like Cruz did?" Ranko asked with a smirk.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but no. We thought leaving without a care of that man would break his spirit." Yui answered.
"I'm glad to see you left, I really didn't like that teacher even though he used to be so nice in class." Nene said.
"Being nice was just an act, he was never nice to begin with." Rei stated, clutching her hand on the pole.
"Is it still too late to swim?" Eve asked.
"The water has risen, so going further upstream won't help." Saya informed.
"Then like, what are we going to do now?" Yukana worried.
"The only thing we can do is keep moving, I'm afraid." Kyoko sighed.
"I have a thought. It's been such a stressful day, why don't we just call it quits for now?" Shizuka suggested.
"Call it a day?" Kohta surprised to hear that.
"Does that mean you know a place we can rest for the night?" Cruz asked curiously.
"Why yes, my friend's flat is nearby. It's just a short walk from here." Shizuka mentioned.
"You're boyfriend's place?" Saya asked.
"Oh, no, no, no, no! It's nothing like that! It's just my girl friend's apartment." Shizuka said feeling nervous and embarrassed.
"She's always busy working and travelling with her job. She gave me the key so I could go there and look after the place when she's away." Shizuka explained about the apartment.
Some of the group started to imagine Shizuka wearing a pink maid outfit holding a feather duster being all cheerfully as she always is right now but having trouble believing that Shizuka can really look after a place due to her being a little clumsy too.
"Is it have a high-rise? Does it have a good view of the surroundings?" Kohta asked.
"We need to at least know if this place can offer some advantages like being able to see the zombies while on lookout duty." Cruz stated.
"Oh yeah, it's a duplex, standing along the river. There's a convenience store nearby too." Shizuka nodded.
"Yes, that means I can still get more of the soda drinks I lost!" Eve determined.
"But don't you still have two dozen cans left?" Cruz asked with a sweatdrop.
"She really loves that Super drink." R anko commented.
"Oh, and a car! You know, that one that looks like a tank, the one that drinks gas. Big! The really big one." Shizuka mentioned.
"I don't care about a car as much as a shower. I don't think I've ever felt dirtier in my life." Saya complained.
"I get what you mean, all this dirt and blood stains are really sticking us up." Yui agreed.
"I couldn't agree with you more." Kohta drooled at Yui who grins at the chubby boy.
"Ranko, why don't you take Shizuka to check the place out then come back so we can go there together." Cruz planned.
"Okay." Ranko shrugged.
Ranko and Shizuka went on ahead to see which way if the place of Shizuka's friend then came back with the others to lead them, they had to leave the bikes behind because the neighborhood has some zombies.
They arrived at the apartment building as Shizuka shows them the car she was talking about.
"A Hum-Vee! It's the military model too!" Kohta excited.
"Told you, it looks just like a tank." Shizuka said.
"Exactly what kind of friend is she?" Saya wondered.
"I hope to know that as well." Kyoko said.
"Look how high the fences are, do you think we'll be face?" Nene asked.
"Yeah, pretty sure zombies can't jump. Hope we'll have a goodnight sleep." Rei hoped.
"Well, you're gonna have to work for that sleep." Cruz pointed at some zombies up top.
"Don't take any chances and be sure to cover each other's backs." Saeko advised.
"Let's go!" Cruz kicked the gate open, and everyone charges up to beat down the zombies.
It was then we all knew, we attacked first and didn't run away because we all knew that survival is the only thing we can do and protect each other from these dark times, and I never gave up hope either.

Everyone has been reunited through fate and probably some luck too, now they have found a new place to rest which happens to be Shizuka's friend as they'll find some very interesting tools inside.
