Group Battle with Emerald Heart Promise
The Emerald Group are looking around themselves seeing the zombies coming toward the living with the groaning to find something to sink their undead teeth into their flesh, and they can see there are a lot of them than usual.
"So, what do we do now?" Eve asked.
"What else, we kick these undead bitches' ass all the way to Hell!" Ranko readied herself with the fire-bolt gun.
"I couldn't agree with you more!" Saeko smiled as she stepped out of the car and swung her wooden black sword, ready for combat.
Cruz ready himself with the new gun making sure to get it right like what Kohta told him while Nene reacted quickly with the arrow pulling onto the bow, aiming carefully and fired at one zombie and also got in another one.
"Wow! Two shots in one, this bow really is awesome!" Nene amazed.
"Let check out what my toy can do!" Ranko aimed her bolt gun at one zombie and fired the bolt.
Just as Yukana explained about how the fire bolt gun work, the bolt came ablaze from the match turning it into a flaming bolt bullet at one zombie getting through the skull and burning the head.
"Holy shit, that was hot and literally too!" Ranko surprised.
"It worked? It really worked!" Yukana cheered seeing one of her invention works.
"Let get this party started!" Yui shouted in a slightly deep and angry way and charges in with her metal baseball bat.
Saeko follows Yui lead as they start smacking down the zombies with their close-range weapons such as smashing their heads in, Yui does a little spin attack to get three zombies while Saeko moves in with a fast movement to get four almost at the same time.
"Wow, you must've really practice kendo a lot." Yui impressed with Saeko's. skills.
"You could say it's my passion." Saeko smirked before she strike down another zombie.
"Aim, and…" Cruz carefully aimed at the chest area of one zombie and fried the shot, it was able to get it in the head.
"Whoa, he wasn't kidding about the recoil being powerful! That felt like shit!" Cruz shocked.
"Hang on, I'm going to help too!" Eve pulled out something from a big.
Eve turns around facing one zombie and jumps off with a triple body spin in the air which some of the group were impress with that flexibility, she landed right in front of the zombie and punch through with what appears to be a makeshift drill gauntlet made from a power drill, a wide ring bigger for the wrist, and about six kitchen knives place together in an angle each like a cone.
"I wasn't sure if that would work, but man, I have become so fucking good with this!" Yukana amazed with herself.
"Then I'm going in too!" Mio determined.
"Are you sure, Mio? I don't anything bad happening to you!" Alice worried grabbing Mio's hand.
"Don't worry, I'm super strong! Nothing is gonna stop me from protecting everyone here, including you!" Mio petted Alice's head.
"Here, I'm not sure if it's to your liking but it would help since you're the close-combat girl." Yukana handed her another baseball with three axe blades on the top.
"Too small and not enough meaning to the "Titan" meaning of my family name, but it'll have to do." Mio decided to take the new axe-base weapon.
Mio charges in to start attacking the zombies with one swing that cut straight through a zombie in two and swung down at another one in the head, causing the zombie to four slices down in the body then she goes in swinging her axe around the best she could easily slicing them down.
"Oh man, she never made killing zombies look easy!" Rei surprised.
"Less, amazes, more killing the zombies!" Nene reminded her fellow lover while fired another arrow.
Cruz took a little more time to make his own strike while he didn't want to hit the girls until he got it and killed off two zombies in one shot, this surprises him a bit though kind of expected this to happened with a powerful gun.
"Saya, talk to me. How many zombies have we taken down so far?" Cruz asked.
"Like I would give a fuck of how many we killed, more are still coming at us including the ones from the other streets earlier." Saya pointed out.
"Well, we still need to fight them off somehow until we can figure out a way to get out of here." Yukana said after throwing a knife at one zombie in the head.
"Saya, isn't there another way to get to your house?" Kohta asked.
"Where we are right now, no fucking way. This way is the only way to my house, and these fucking zombies are in the way!" Saya angered.
"We're killing them as fast as we can, but more are still coming in!" Rei shouted as she pierced down another zombie.
But one zombie was getting closer to Rei while she was a little distracted, but Nene was able to save her just in time, and it was very close too.
"While it is great that we're taking down the zombies, I'm not sure if we'll be able to keep this up like me with my arrows!" Nene pointed out, fearing she may run out of arrows soon.
"She's right, and the street is starting to get too crowded!" Saeko added before another smack on two zombies.
"Hirano, I could use that lesson on my gun right about now!" Rei pulled back next to Cruz, ready to start using long-range attacks.
"Flip the lever in front of the trigger guard, you can disengage the safety that way. After that, pull the side to the right. And you're ready to shoot!" Kohta explained while shooting down some zombies.
"Got it!" Rei nodded, ready to shoot now.
Rei starts firing bullet after bullet as she was able to get a few zombies down and a bit more, she has been doing a little well with her shooting despite never holding a gun before in her life though she has seen her parents use some in the past.
"Hey Saeko, give me a good spin!" Mio requested.
"Okay!" Saeko said with a leap over to Mio and one bullet from Rei flew right under herself and close to her underwear.
Saeko smack on the axe-bat hitting at the right moment of the momentum that causes Mio to start spinning fast almost like a human spinning-top, this move starts cutting the zombies down in two or three as she was able to get over a dozen of the undead freaks.
"Nice!" Mio smiled.
Saeko smacks down two zombies and then leans backward allowing another bullet from Rei to go over her, and somehow in the most defying the laws of physics that her breasts moved to completely avoid the bullet.
"Did Saeko's boobs just dodge a bullet!" Rei gasped.
"I think they did?!" Cruz confused with his cheeks blushing as well.
"Will you guys focus right now!" Ranko yelled after firing down three more zombies, but she soon discovers her bolt gun is empty now.
"Shit, I'm empty now!" Ranko cursed.
"Me too!" Kohta noticed his gun is empty too.
"Hey, I need a knight meg magazine! And Ranko need more ammo too!" Kohta called out to the inside of the Hum-Vee.
Zero barks showing Alice and the other girls showing them the magazine bag, Alice goes in taking two as Kyoko helps with getting the bolts for Ranko's gun.
"Here, but I'm not sure if you can keep this up for long." Kyoko pointed out as she hands them the magazine.
"I know, I know, but we gotta think of something. Maybe a loud distracting to keep them away." Kohta suggested.
"Well, forgive me for pointing out the obvious but we're the ones making the loud noises!" Kyoko said with a firm look.
"Oh yeah, there's that." Kohta chuckled.
Cruz just reloaded another pair of bullets though he looks ahead seeing more zombies coming in from the distance, and from the numbers running in his head and the answer tells him they won't last for very long.
"(We'll be overrun by the zombies in a matter of an hour or two, we'll run out of bullets, and we won't last long either.)" Cruz thought feared.
Cruz looks around the area trying to come up with a plan to lure the zombies away from the group, but that would mean one of them would have to play the decoy for the plan.
"(Think, think, think, there has to be a way.)" Cruz thought angered as he fired another shot at two zombies.
That is until he spotted the staircase that leads up to another street and probably away from the path to Saya's home, and that gave him a crazy idea.
"Oh shit!" Ranko jumped back when one zombie was almost about to grab her.
However, another zombie behind her grabs her shoulders freaking out the dark-skinned gal as she struggles to break free.
"Oh no, Ranko!" Mio gasped.
"Someone gotta save her!" Yui shouted as she tries to make her way to Ranko, but the zombies around are slowing her down.
Ranko tries to push the zombies off, but it was no use, just when the zombie was close to biting her flesh off. Cruz jumps in with a punch right on across the face and at the cost of having his flesh cut by the zombie's teeth as it was knocked down.
"Cruz, the fuck… do you have any idea of what you just did?" Ranko asked.
"Saving your life, and I won't hesitate to do it again to keep you all safe." Cruz determined with a strong look in his eyes.
That just made Ranko's heart skipped a heart or two for a second there, seeing how awesome he is being right now.
"Go regroup with the others, I'm going to give these zombies a reason to hunt someone else." Cruz ordered.
"Hold on, just what are you..." Ranko tried to reach out for Cruz's hand, but he suddenly ran.
Cruz jumps down the zombies around him with his shotgun like a battering baseball bat while banging on the ground to make as much noise as possible to get some of the zombies' attention.
"What is that kid doing?" Yui asked, seeing Cruz in the fray more than he should.
"Something stupid and heroic at the same time." Saeko said.
But Saeko couldn't help but smile at the sudden crazy action the emerald hair boy running into the horde of zombies with an idea on the same level of dangerous as what he is doing right now, then she decided to join him on luring the zombies away from the others.
"Seriously?! Now you too?!" Ranko gasped.
Ranko clutches her fist knowing that if anything were to happen to Cruz right now like getting killed by those bitches of zombies then Yukana will be very hurt so much that she would lose the will to live again, and that means she would have to keep that damn handsome brat alive no matter what.
"Fucking damn it!" Ranko ran for Cruz and Saeko while smacking down some zombies with her empty bolt gun.
"If you end up dead then I'm going to kill you for breaking Yukana!" Ranko glared.
"(Hold on, did I actually think Cruz is handsome?)" Ranko thought surprised at herself.
"Cruz! Where are you going?!" Nene asked yelling while firing another arrow at three zombies.
"Looks to me like he's doing something crazy." Eve said.
"I feel like that's going to be a thing of him from now on." Rei commented.
Cruz, now along with Saeko and Ranko are fighting through the horde of zombies while trying to make as many noises as possible and made their way up to the staircase that leads them to another street of town.
"We need to make more noise! Louder or else the others will be overwhelmed!" Cruz stated while banging on the metal bar of the stairs.
"But I'm afraid we might not have anything on us to be loud as possible." Saeko pointed out.
"Actually, I may have something that can help us." Ranko reached into her breasts and pulled out her IPhone.
"You had a phone this entire time?!" Cruz gasped.
"Not like the cellular signals were even working, I just held on to it in case of an emergency which is right now." Ranko said.
"I also found this little wireless speaker box back at the apartment, should be able to come in handy." Ranko showed another item from her breasts.
"Don't they hurt you from in there?" Cruz asked concern.
"Worry about that later, we need to get those fucking zombies away from them!" Ranko set up the wireless speaker to her phone.
"Okay, let see how they like this music!" Ranko played the music.
(Music: Time of Dying, Three Day Grace)
The music is playing very loud, the loudest the speaker box can go but it was enough to get at least more than half of the zombies' attention as they turn around to follow the sound of the rock music where Cruz and the two girls are.
"Wow, that's an awesome song!" Alice commented.
"Are they really trying to lure as many zombies as possible to them?" Kyoko asked shock.
"Better to have less zombies coming at us right now." Kohta killed off two zombies.
"But even so, we're already running so low and… Oh shit, I just ran out of arrows!" Nene gasped.
"Well, isn't that great. And we've just run out of bullets too!" Saya angered.
"Isn't there anything we can do?" Alice asked, clutching onto Saya getting her attention.
"(Poor kid, she just found herself a nice group of friends and now she's going to end up dead right here with us.)" Saya thought worried. She knows that Cruz promised to keep her and Mio safe in this group, but she's not sure if that promise can be kept.
"Alice, listen…" Saya grabbed Alice's shoulder.
But suddenly something unexpected happened on the other side of the wired wall.
"Get the ladder! Get them out of there now!" A woman wearing a protective firefighter uniformed shouted, ordering a bunch of other people in the same uniform to do what she just said.
A few of them aimed their air cannons at the zombies and blasted them away from the group.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, who the fuck are they?" Ranko asked shock.
"I think those are actual rescue team, but I don't think they're from the fire department." Saeko guessed, and she is definitely right.
"Come this way. We'll get the car later." The woman said getting them out of there.
Once the remainder of the Emerald Group got to the other side of the wired wall, they felt safe now seeing more people.
"Thank you for much for saving us from that situation." Shizuka thanked the leader with a proper bow.
"Of course." The female leader said as she took off her helmet and revealing her face.
The woman has long, light purple hair that wears her hair down and has it much shorter in the front and pushed to either side of her face and purple eyes.
"She's my daughter. What was I going to do? Leave her to die?" The woman said, and Saya instantly recognizes this woman.
"Mommy!" Saya gasped and ran up to her mother for a touching reunion.
"That's Saya's mom! Thank goodness they're saved." Cruz sighed in relief.
"I would hold off the sigh of relief because I have a hard time believing more help is really on the way." Saeko looked down seeing some of the zombies starting to walk up the stairs.
"Oh shit, I almost forgot about these fuckers!" Ranko cursed as she turns off the music.
"Okay, time for us to find a way back to the others and we better make it fast!" Cruz decided.
"Right." Saeko nodded.
"Guess we got no choice." Ranko sighed and they start running to find a new back to reunite with their friends.
"Cruz! You better come back to us, we'll be waiting at Saya's house!" Nene called out, waving her bow in the air.
Back with Cruz's small group, Ranko couldn't help but worry as she stares at Cruz's right arm that he used to save her from the zombie and got himself a scratch from the zombie too.
"(Everyone, I promise to come back and I won't die until I do!)" Cruz thought determined.

Wow, and just when things were looking seriously down for the heroes as the zombies had them in their deadly clutches, rescue has suddenly arrived in the best way possible though it looks like Ranko doesn't have to worry about Cruz as you'll soon see.
