Izuku sweatdrops at the instructor's choice of words while practicing using the short sword he has right now. Thanks to watching Yoroi Musha's sword technique and the instruction videos he made for newcomers, he managed to understand the basics, albeit a bit difficult.

He saw how the hero swung his swords, and he noticed that despite the hero not having super strength, he could cut down most foes with defensive quirk. And when he looked closer, the swing always hit right at the weak spot of said foes.

'And he made it look so easy. I guess that's to be expected with a quirk like his.' Izuku thought before swinging his sword to the side but grimaced at how uncomfortable it was, before changing its direction and his technique. He tried it again and he felt it move faster. 'Another note, if you feel uncomfortable while swinging your sword, it'll give an opening to my enemies as you instinctively try to get rid of said discomfort and they take the chance to disarm me. Gotta be careful.'

As Izuku practices, the suddenly familiar green screen appears in front of him and he blinked at what it wrote.

[Congratulations, you created a new skill]

Izuku blinked before rubbing his eyes and look back at the screen. He rubs it again to made sure he didn't see it wrong.

'Did...did I just create my own skill!?' Izuku thought in disbelief before looking at the short sword. He looks at it before grinning widely. 'I know withholding my dungeon raid is a good idea! I'm glad I found this feature before blindly entering the dungeon.'

Izuku decided to open his status window and blinked at the list of his skills.

"Uh..." Izuku looks at the screen in confusion and disbelief. How did he even obtain these skills? Izuku decided to check on the Tenacity - Lvl 1

[When HP is below 30%, all damage received will be reduced by 50%. Will not work if the Fatigue is beyond 60]

Izuku looks at the skill in awe. This will help a lot in his survivability. He then grimaces at the passive's penalty and takes notes to never let his fatigue go beyond 60.

He can't help but think that despite how crazy the powers provided by the system, it still has limits. He thinks that it makes sense since it'll help to remind him that he isn't omnipotent.

Izuku then checked at the second passive and blinked.

"Whoa...I'm so unlocking that one..." Izuku mutters before looking at the other skills.

"Holy shit..." Izuku mutter in disbelief. If he can level up his skills and two of his stats, this skill will be OP! Izuku looks at his stats before sighing. His stats were too low for it to succeed.

"Gotta increase my stats..." Izuku mutters while rubbing his chin. "I think I should be more careful at my stat spread. I don't want to end up being a glass cannon or no damage tank..."

He looks at himself before leaving the patient room and back to the park. He sighs before taking a sprint stance and starts running as fast as he can. He sprints for a short 50 meters but notices that he didn't gain notification from the system.

'This...is harder than I thought.' Izuku thought. 'A skill similar to Speed Boost will be nice, since not only does it give me an easier time to gain close distance, but I can dodge an incoming attack and an edge against a speed-focused opponent.'

Izuku continues to try and try again to gain a new skill, but no matter what he does, it never happens. Izuku slowly grew frustrated by the lack of progress and thought that maybe he was wasting his time.

'Wait...' Izuku stops himself before rethinking himself. 'Speed Boost is an active skill, and an active skill requires mana! I need to use mana to do it! Oh, Izuku, you fool!!!' He slaps his forehead as he groans.

'But... how am I going to access mana?' Izuku thought before remembering his only active skill. 'If I use Observe, I must at least be able to feel how mana was used even if it's failed! Let's see...' Izuku looks at the doctor entering the hospital.

"Uh...how am I supposed to activate it again?" Izuku asked before he groaned one more time and facepalmed. He sits back down while covering his face in frustration. "I'm so glad I didn't rush into the dungeon or else I'll be dead by now!"

Izuku mused while rubbing his chin. How is the active skill used in real life? Because this system doesn't have any instruction manual and he has to deal with the fact that he is on his own!

"Should I just say 'Observe'?" Izuku said before suddenly, a green screen popped in front of his eyes, much to his shock.

[No available target for Observe to work]

Izuku blinked before he rechecked [Observe - Lvl 1] and his veins started popping.

"You gave me an active skill, the explanation of what it can do, and stats, yet you didn't give me a simple instruction!?!?" Izuku yells in anger towards the holographic screen, but to others, he looks like he scream at empty air.

"Is that boy okay?"

"I heard he got brought to the hospital after life-threatening injuries."

"Could it be that the injuries affect his mind?"

"Poor boy..."

Izuku, never felt so embarrassed in his life, covered his face and screamed internally. Never in his life has he ever hated something more than Bakugou.

Wait...hate?

Izuku can't help but be a bit worried about himself. He just admits himself, albeit mentally, that he hates Bakugou. He never hated someone in his life before and he started to casually admit it to himself.

'Geez, that near-death scenario messed me up...' Izuku never felt so conflicted before. On one hand, he believes that hating a certain someone to the point of having a payback is just too 'villainous', on the other hand, he can't stop himself from hating Bakugou. All he did was to be that boy's friend and what did he do? Push him aside because he's a 'quirkless weakling'.

The constant verbal abuses and sometimes physical flashes in his mind and he felt his blood starts to boil. Izuku shakes his head about it and forces himself to focus on the current situation.

'Okay, let's test this one more time.' Izuku looks at a person passing by and utters "Observe." under his breath. And then, Izuku can feel a strange energy, similar to Mera's Healing Aura, enter his brain and eyes as the familiar green screen pops up.

[Congratulations: Observe - Lvl 1 successfully used.]

A victim of a bully due to her quirk, either out of hate or jealousy, and was saved by Inko, who threatens the bully to perform 'Testicular Torsion' on them. She's a model for her husband, Masaru Bakugou, and has become quite a famous fashion idol. She loves Bakugou with all of her heart but doesn't know how to express it properly, leading to Bakugou's crude attitude and constant cursing. She is now conflicted about what Bakugou has become and his injuries]

'...' Izuku never felt so flabbergastered in his life. Why is his aunt doing here!? And what's with the detailed information!?! Mom threatens to give a bully 'Testicular Torsion'!?! His aunt was a bully victim as well!? And what does the system mean by Bakugou's injury!?!?

"Izu?" Izuku snaps out of his thoughts as he looks back at the person he just used [Observe] while wondering how did he not notice her appearance in the first place!?? She's a middle-aged woman with spiky ash-blonde hair, wearing a white dress and purple blouse while holding a basket full of food.

"Hey, auntie..." Izuku greets nervously as Mitsuki hugs him.

"Oh, it is you! You scared me and your mother to death!!" Izuku wince before nodding nervously. "I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to visit you. I...I was goddamn nervous after what my son has fucking done, but I realize that I shouldn't be a coward..."

"No, it's not. I...I should've fucking taught him better..." Mitsuki said while scratching her cheek. "I know I wasn't the best at being a mother, I should've done more."

'No wonder mom and auntie manage to get along easily.' Izuku sweatdrops as he hears her words, it is similar to how his mom apologizes to him "Don't blame yourself, auntie. It's not your fault, it's Aldera's. They keep everything that Bakugou did in the dark and let him get away with everything."

"So, no more Kacchan, huh?" Mitsuki mused sadly as Izuku cringed and nodded. "I don't blame you. If I was in your position, I would do the same thing." Mitsuki ruffled Izuku's hair. "I'm glad that you're okay. You don't deserve all of that."

"Thanks, Auntie..." Both of them sit next to each other awkwardly before Mitsuki starts to clear her throat.

"A-anyways, here's the meal Masaru and I prepare for you! Get well soon, brat." Mitsuki said as she shoved the basket full of food to Izuku.

"Th-this is unnecessary!!" Izuku said as he panicked from the amount of food his aunt gave to him.

"I insist..." Mitsuki said as an intense aura emitted from her like a certain future pirate king. Izuku nervously nodded and accepted the food. They talked for a little longer before she left the hospital.

"..." Izuku looks at the basket for a while before placing his basket into his inventory. He got up and did some stretches before taking a running stance. He then recalls the memory of energy flowing into his head and eyes when he uses [Observe] and when Mera uses [Healing Touch] on his hand. He found the energy resides at the center of his body and pulled it, guiding it into his legs as he felt his legs grow stronger.

"Boost!" Izuku shouted before he took off, creating an explosive shockwave as he ran. He felt the world turn into a blur as he stopped himself, and then a notification appeared in front of his eyes.

[Congratulations. Your actions earn you a new skill]

[Sprint - Lvl 1]

[Increases the user's speed by 30% for 5 second]

[MP consumption: 40]

Izuku stares at the screen with wide eyes before he grins widely and jumps into the air.

"YES!!!"
