The PCPD
The next day, Robert found himself at the office working hard on Chase. Carly hadn't found a lawyer yet, and Jason and Sonny were both getting heated. No bail was set as she was definitely a risk.
Robert could tell something was bothering Chase. He didn't like to interfere, but considering how he went to bat for Jayne, he felt he would try to check on him. "Is everything okay?"
Chase looked up. "Hmm? Oh yes, fine..." Chase sighed, he felt like such an ass. "You ever feel like you're doing something you aren't really ready for to make other people happy?"
Oh did Robert know this well, he remembered a certain remarriage to make Robin happy, not to say he didn't care about Anna but they didn't work. "Yes, completely. Can I give you some advice?"
Chase nodded. "Go ahead."
"Don't try to please others. In the long run it isn't worth it and no one ends up happy." Robert told him.
Chase sighed and covered his face. "That's great advice."
"I did something to make my older daughter happy years ago and it ended up torpedoing into a huge mess." Robert added.
"Thanks, I would usually go to my dad with this but I don't want to put it on him." Chase spoke truthfully. "I just feel like the closer the wedding gets to more Brook Lynn makes it clear that I have to live by her rules. She even got onto me for sticking up for Jayne yesterday."
"What, why? I would go with your gut. It's easier to call off a wedding than getting divorced." Robert advised Chase.
Outside of Bobbie's
Holly was spending the morning/afternoon with Seana. She loved getting these little moments that she missed with Ethan and Jayne.
She went by Bobbie's expecting it to be closed when she noticed a blonde woman standing inside. It couldn't be.
She went up to the door to open it. It was locked but when the lady looked up and saw her, her whole face lit up. She hurried over to the door to unlock it.
"Holly!" The lady threw her arms around her friend.
Holly hugged her tightly, grinning from ear to ear. "Rose!"
