Seana had come back in to get Robert to come watch the parade with her. Noah got comfortable on Robert's lap as well as the two were in awe of the floats and performances. Robert got a kick out of seeing their faces.
"You think Emma can look after the kids while you, Ethan and I go talk out front?" Patrick asked Robert.
"Grandpa will be right back. Be good for Emma." Robert got up and the three guys went outside. "Is something wrong?" Robert asked, concerned about Robin and the kids.
"Not at all. I just wanted to check and see how you two were and how Holly is? You three have all been through so much." Patrick looked at his father-in-law and brother-in-law.
"Personally for me while I would change some things I am the happiest I have been in a long time. You should have seen Holly's face when I showed her this place." Robert had not looked this happy in the whole time Patrick had known him.
Patrick couldn't help but smile at his father-in-law. "I am happy to hear that man." Patrick turned his attention to Ethan. "How are you handling everything?"
"Better. It would be even better if Diane was caught. I have a beautiful daughter who loves me and I found out that Robert is my father biologically. I won't say it didn't hurt knowing I was used to hurt my mother, Robert, Luke and Laura but I am alright. Annie and I are trying to see how things go, Seana is the most important person in the world to us though and will always come first.
Patrick couldn't help but smile. He remembered how wrapped around Emma's finger he was when she was little, still was. "It's an incredible feeling, isn't it?"
Ethan nodded, he could not stop smiling thinking about his daughter. "I will tell you my whole world changed the moment she came into it."
Robert patted Ethan on the back. "I felt the same with Robin. Thanks for checking up on us Patrick." Robert gave him a pat too. "You are a good man."
Patrick nodded. "You both are too. Let's get back in there." The three of them went back inside.
The Kitchen
"Mom wanted to know if you needed her to bring anything and I told her I think it's all covered." Robin told Holly as she put her phone up.
"Oh yes, all we need is her." Holly was determined to make this the best meal, she was so thrilled Jayne was helping her.
"Do you all need my help?" Robin asked.
"You ae more than welcome to help but if you want to go visit with everyone please do." Holly didn't want Robin to feel like she had to stay in there and help.
"I'll come back and see if you need help once I say hi to them all." Robin gave Holly another hug before going out.
Robert snuck back into the kitchen to see two of his girls. He went over and put his arms around Holly. "I missed you."
Holly's whole face lit up. "When don't you?" She kissed him, hearing her phone go off she let out a groan. "Hello?"
A distorted voice spoke. "Remember me?"
Holly had a sheer look of terror as she spoke. "Diane?"
