Flashback to 2015
Robert and Holly had just finished up a caper, not the most romantic way to spend the day but still thrilling and so them.
"I tell you, I need a hot bath and a lot of you." Holly grinned as her arms found their way around her favorite Australian.
Robert's hands were quickly at home around her waist. "I was thinking I needed you, but I could handle the bath too."
"Oh, how self-sacrificing of you." Holly grinned up at him.
"I figured since it's Valentine's Day." Robert quipped, giving her a kiss. "I got you something."
"I got you something, too." Holly's face eyes lit up as she broke away, going over to get the present she had gotten him.
Robert went over to retrieve his for her. He had found in an old security box. The card he made her for their first official Valentine's Day. He also had gotten her some roses.
They exchanged gifts, Robert insisted she open hers first. Holly immediately had tears as she saw the little sleeve she had put the card in all those years ago. "Oh, Robert."
Robert kissed her. "Perfect, isn't it? Just like you." He opened his gift, a little stuffed animal that ironically looked just like the one he gave her all those years ago.
"Clearly we still think as one." Holly's eyes sparkled.
Robert grinned as he took her into his arms again. "Clearly we still are as one."
End of flashback
"We still are." Robert grinned at her, knowing her mind went to the same place.
Holly lovingly looked at him, reaching out to stroke his cheek. "I love you."
"I love you." He took her hand and kissed it. "Dance with me?"
Holly stood up as the two moved over to dance, just getting lost in each other's eyes and kisses.
"You know as much as I love that we are back here, any place with you is home." Holly laid her head on his shoulder.
Robert couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her in his arms again.
The two sat down to dinner, enjoying every minute of it. Not wanting to rush this evening.
Once they were done Holly blew out the candles. "Thank you for this."
Robert pulled her close. "Thank you for loving me. Up for the sauna?" He asked her.
"Just try to stop me." Holly grinned, taking his hand and leading him upstairs. They made sure to turn off the lights before disappearing into their bedroom.
