Robert helped Holly unzip her dress, placing kisses along her neck. "Mm perfection."
Holly grinned as she turned around, untying his tie. "What do you expect from the most perfect couple?" She pulled it off and unbuttoned his shirt, placing kisses along his chest.
Robert's fingers ran through her hair. "Keep it up, and we will never make it to our sauna."
Holly got a wicked grin. "Darling, you are the one who must keep it up." She let her dress fall to the floor.
Robert's eyes once again devoured her, taking in each and every curve. "You are going to make that easy." He grinned, pulling her back to kiss her deeply. Their lips danced as they shed the rest of their clothing.
They found their way into the sauna, but tonight was very different as Robert lifted her against the wall.
"Missing the plane?" Holly's eyes sparkled, placing kisses along Robert's jawline.
"Figured this doesn't need to be a plane only thing." Robert kissed her neck while he guided himself into her. Within moments, the two were once again lost in each other. Robert kissed her deeply as he thrusted steadily into her.
Holly was in sheer heaven as she moaned deeply into their kiss, loving that this was the way they were spending their night in the sauna. Her movements in unison with his.
At some point Robert moved her over to the bench, still completely lost in her. Robert laid on the bench with Holly in his arms afterwards. "Talk about a Valentine's Day to remember."
"Do you remember our last one before you came back here?" Holly asked softly, she hated that they had separated but knew Robert wanted to come back and be more settled down, she wasn't really ready to come back to Port Charles at that time, a thing she lived to regret.
"2018, I remember everything about us. Everything. Including that kiss in 1992." Robert told Holly.
Flashback to 1992 the day Robert left
Robert and Holly were going back and forth as they often did, they had such an ease with each other.
"Robert I need to tell you something." Holly had been conflicted about her feelings but losing Nanny and almost losing Robert made her want to tell him. Maybe she was being selfish.
"What is it?" He asked her, curious to know what she had to say. From the moment he saw her in New York City, that's where his heart was, even if he did have other obligations.
Holly looked at Robert, all those years of loving him. Them being each others world. Maybe it was selfish, he had a life with Anna and Robin. "Nevermind..." Holly whispered as she looked down.
Robert lifted her chin, looking into her eyes. He wanted to get her to open up to him, wanted to know what she was really thinking. He knew they were both holding back. He leaned in slowly to see if she pulled away.
Holly decided against thinking, she leaned forward and kissed him, a passionate kiss, one they had both longed for for so long.
The kiss intensified as Robert pulled her over onto his lap, Holly didn't want to stop, she didn't want to think, she just wanted Robert right now. His hands found the hem of her shirt, not breaking the kiss as he felt her warm flesh.
The phone ringing putting a stop to everything.
End of flashback
"You know I never told anyone about that. Not even Tiff." Holly said softly.
"My heart was still yours, still is. It always will be." Robert kissed her head, he kept her close to him. He knew at the time that kiss made things awkward but it was all he could think of at times as well. He really did have every intention of coming back to her once he spoke with Anna.
"I'm glad we can be together now, without anything in the way." Holly kissed him again.
