Robert and Holly both got comfortable in the tub, a nice bubble bath as Holly had always loved. She knew Robert did, too, not that he would admit it.
Robert kissed her neck. "You comfortable?"
Holly nodded and couldn't help but grin. He was so considerate of her. "Very much so."
"Do you remember that time you drank too much in Mexico? Got you nice and randy as you Pommies would say." Robert chuckled at the memory.
"Oh yes, I couldn't get words out correctly, but I do remember some things I got right." She turned around to look at him, placing her hand on his heart. "I hate that we had to spend so many years apart."
Robert placed his arms around her. "You know no matter what, you were always right in there. It's always been yours and yours alone."
Holly caught his gaze. "Such a marshmallow. I love you so much."
"Remember keep that our secret." Robert grinned at her as he caressed her cheek, leaning in to give her a kiss.
It started out slow and gently but then turned into much more. Robert's hands ran up her back, pulling her close. Holly deepened their kiss, wanting to feel him as close as possible. She looked into his eyes with a wicked grin. "I want you."
That's all it took. Robert guided himself into her, locking eyes with her as he began to rock. The two of them found a steady pace. Eventually winding up in bed as the always did.
Robert rolled off of Holly her turning slightly with him. "I love nights like these, talking about our life together, making love to you. I still love that." He placed a kiss on her neck.
"You better always." Holly laughed lightly. "I love you so much Robert."
Robert kissed her head. "Let's get some rest. Port Charles isn't going to clean itself up."
Holly sighed. "I know I can't be selfish and hog you all the time." She gave him another deep kiss.
Robert returned it, his arms holding her close. "Keep kissing me like that and you might not have to." He wiggled his brows.
Holly playfully swatted him. "I love you darling."
Robert held her as they got comfortable kissing her head. "I love you too, goodnight, luv." The two of them fell into a deep sleep, holding each other throughout the night.
