Slow paced and somewhat melancholic guitar music played as the Wolf house was shown with Scamp trying to do his homework in his room but failing miserably. It was so hard for him to focus or figure anything out on his paper. As he looked at the paper in stress, Lucky started singing over the scene. The song in question was Not Always So Easy. "They say life is hard, when you're an adult in the real world brawl." Scamp then looked out of his window and over to Oliver's house. "But they never mean to say, that it's not hard being a kid at all."

Oliver was having his head checked by Tibbs after getting hit by Mooch, and Oliver got a call from Scamp as the singing continued. "And if that's the case, then I can tell you how wrong they are." Oliver answered the call and heard Scamp's voice asking him about helping with focus on his homework. This made Oliver smile, as he loved being able to help others; especially those he cared about. "I doubt they're the exact same thing, but the difficulty isn't always far."

Angel was making sure her bedroom door and window were locked after dinner as the singing continued. "And to just say that it always is, is doing so ever fair?" After sighing of relief over feeling like she was safe, she checked under her bed for her gun and nodded before putting her blanket back down. "Because I can't tell you that it is, but I doubt my words would go anywhere." Angel then hopped up onto her bed and looked up at the ceiling, contemplating how hard everything has been for her from the very beginning. "Even if my friends help theeeeere."

Lucky was shown playing video games with Patch sitting next to him as he then got a text from his girlfriend, a Blue Heeler named Roxie. When he picked up the phone, his voice continued singing over the scene. "It's not always easy being young, I'll tell you that for free." When Lucky picked up the phone, it was a text from Roxie saying that she loved him. He sent one back with a smile that said the same. "It's such a massive shame too, our struggles are a lot harder to see."

After he sent the text, he seemed a little anxious. But Patch put a paw on his shoulder, assuring him it would be okay and easing his mind a bit. "Maybe they just forget about them once they finish school." Then, Tod was shown sitting on the roof of his house by his bedroom window. It was clear he was trying to get his troubles off of his mind as his family continued to shout. "I wish I knew for sure so I wouldn't feel like a fool" He then saw Copper waving to him from his window, and he smiled while waving back at him. "We all have days where we don't fare well."

Copper accidentally farted, making him flinch and blush while chuckling nervously. But thankfully, Tod wasn't grossed out and simply gave a kind laugh at Copper's expulsion. "And some of us are too scared to tell." After that, Scamp was shown finishing his assignment thanks to Oliver talking to him. "I wish we could help them see, that it's not always so easy." After that, Scamp hung up so Oliver could get to bed. After that, he sighed, wishing he didn't have to bother Oliver with his own issues. He then reached to turn the light off and pulled the switch to do so.

"Not always so easy."
