A/N This is Patrick's birthday.
Patrick's birthday had come. He had a moment of missing his granddad, so he had a good cry, wiping the tears streaming from his eyes and blowing his nose. Imogen cuddled her brother and sobbed with him, wiping her tears and Sophie, who was watching them so their mother could do some chores, helped the littler girl blow her nose.
Sophie said, "Remember your birthday train, Patrick. Linus will come to our town when your party's about to begin. However, if you've got to cry on your birthday, it's your right.", as the younger kids dried their tears.
Patrick shed a great many tears, as he sat, wiggling and wiping them away. He wiped his streaming red eyes and face and blew his runny, stuffed nose.
Imogen said, "M-Me s-so s-sad. P-Pat s-sad. Cw-Cwy. S-Sad fr-from m-my e-eyes. N-Nose s-so st-stuffed". She wiped her tears away and, when Sophie took the hanky and said, "Blow.", blew her nose.
The kids dried their red faces and puffy eyes, then blew their noses for the final time, as they finished their respective cry.
The time for Patrick's party drew close and Linus came past with his train and whistled.
"My birthday train," the boy said. Then, his birthday party happened. Other main line trains than Linus's went by.
After the games, birthday lunch, cake and ice cream happened, Patrick opened his gifts, an assortment, then after the party, Sophie helped her parents clean up and watched her little siblings, by turns. Imogen lay on the sofa for her nap at some point.
Patrick wanted to do some train spotting after playing with his new birthday toys, so he ran outside with his big sister following him. Gordon came by with an afternoon Express. James came a few minutes later with some Troublesome Trucks. Thomaas came by with the Local, but had to stop at the signal nearby.
While Patrick was trainspotting, Imogen woke up. The family had their evening meal, then went about the remainder of their day.
A/N I think I'll do the other 2 kids having their birthdays, then end this. Sophie actually lives near the railway, so Linus will go past her family's house.
