A/N This is dedicated to Rowena's fanbase. On TvTropes, she's the Tender Tears type, as all her tears come from exquisite sensitivity and tenderness.

Rowena's crew had come to wake her and get her ready for her day. "Driver, I've got an itchy face," she said, as her fitter examined her.

The little female diesel's driver climbed on her buffers and asked, "Where's the itchy spot?"

Rowena said, "My left side, near my nose.", so her driver scratched it for her. He then did what he had to do to get her ready for the day.

Rowena was working at the quarry today. She sang as she took the workmen there. Then, she shunted stone cars. Time went by and she ran low on fuel, so her driver took her to get more.

Diesel 10 was fueling too. "There you are, you useless steamie lover! Go run another person over, you little killer engine!" he said as Rowena was finishing up at the pump.

The smaller engine fled back to the quarry. She went to a corner of the quarry and began to cry, sobbing and sniffling. "Dr-Dry m-my t-tears, Dr-Driver", she said. "I-I h-hurt i-in m-my h-heart.". Every word was another big sob and her face was wet with tears.

Diesel 10 had followed her and said, "Cry-engine!"

Rowena's driver went to comfort his engine. "There, there, Rowena," he said, taking a cloth from his pocket and drying her tears. "Just go ahead and cry. You've got my comfort until you feel better.". He rubbed her sodden cheeks and wiped her tear-filled eyes.

Rowena cried more, fresh tears pouring from her eyes as she let out another loud sob. "W-Why d-do th-they n-need t-to r-remind m-me o-of E-Eleanor?" she said, her voice shaky and sob-filled. She sniffled again, hard, coughed as she choked on her sobs and hiccupped. She gasped and gulped, shaking as she wept non-stop and let her driver comfort her.

He said as he continued to wipe her tears away, "I'm here for you, because I know you're very hurt. I care about your pain and just want to support you, drying your eyes until you're happier again.". He pressed the cloth to her eyes, letting her sob into it and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Rowena's best friend Julie gave her a buffer press.

Rowena sobbed her heart out, huge tears pouring from her eyes, not once stopping until she had no more left to cry. Her driver dried her last tears away, wiping her face and eyes dry of tears. He then went back to the cab with the sodden cloth and refilled her radiator. Her face was red, as were her sore and swollen eyes, but she smiled, feeling better after crying and was singing again by the time she got back to the quarry.

Rowena and Julie talked as they worked. Rowena was the first to talk and she said, "I'm just someone tender and sensitive. I'm so sensitive I just cry whenever things are wrong enough. Like today Diesel 10 was dreadful mean to me when I was refueling. Driver says of Diesel 10 he's callous and hard-hearted."

Julie said "Diesel 10 hates steamies, so that's a reason he doesn't like you."

Rowena said, "He called me "useless steamie lover" and then he called me "Cry-engine! Driver gently rubbed my cheeks, then mopped my eyes again and again and wiped my cheeks and eyes until they were dry of my last tears, while you gave me a buffer press. I love a good cry with someone around to wipe the tears from my eyes. Sobbing with someone to dry my tears is the best comfort when I hurt inside.".

They talked a while more, then went on with their day at the quarry, until work was done. Rowena was cheeky towards Julie, but in a more harmless way just after they talked.
