The Morning was still sunny. But clouds were forming at forenoon.

Pacifica was not sure why, but she had a strange bad feeling.

And she was still in a good mood this morning.

Something was wrong, but what was it?

After work she met Candy and Granda.

Candy: „Have you read it?"

Pacifica: „I don't read newspapers!"

Candy: „A big IT-Company wants to demolish the town to build a big datacenter instead!"

Pacifica: „WHAT? Wait! What day do we have?"

Granda: „NOT APRIL FOOLS DAY!"

Pacifica: „Really? How could this happen? Is it confirmed yet?"

Candy: „As far as i know, the governor has already given his go! He thinks Gravity Falls is not important enough and the datacenter generates more taxmoney!"

Pacifica: „That must not be! We have to do something against it!"

Granda: „BUT WHAT CAN WE OF ALL PEOPLE DO?"

„I DON'T KNOW!", Pacifica shouted.

Granda and Candy were shocked.

Candy: „P...Paz, everything okay?"

„NO! NOTHING IS OKAY! EVERYTHING SUCKS!", Pacifica yelled and teared up. „Now that my life finally is relatively good, they want to take my home from me! WHY?"

Candy and Granda looked sad and hold Pacificas hands.

„We help you, if you want to try saving the town!", Granda said in a calm voice for once.

Candy: „You got it! We also don't want to loose our homes!"

Pacifica: „Thanks guys, that calms me down a bit. Tomorrow i visit the mayor. But now the town hall is closed and Cutebiker has locked his estate up, since he is mayor."

Candy: „The construction work is said to start at summer."

Pacifica: „Just when the twins are returning."

She sighed.

Pacifica: „I have to tell them, if they haven't read it by themself by now."

Granda: „THAT WILL CRUSH THEM!"

The three kids said bye and were going home. But how long would Susans house a home for her? And where should they go, if the company really builds this datacenter?"

And she was also worried about the shack. It's not directry IN the town, but without the town nobody would show up anymore. And the driveway would maybe vanish, too.

She called Dipper: „Toooooot...toooooot...yes? Dipper Pines!"

Pacifica: „Hi, it's me, Pacifica."

Dipper: „Hey Paz, nice to hear from you. How are you? Some news?"

Pacifica: „1. so lala 2. bad news!"

Dippers cheerfulness vanished: „Why? What happened?"

Pacifica: „Nothing for NOW, but it WILL happen something bad soon!"

Dipper: „Sounds not good! What is it?"

Pacifica: „The town is about to get demolished!"

Dipper was silent for a moment, than he shouted: „MABEL! MABEL! COME NOW!"

„What's up?", Mabel asked from the background.

Dipper: „Gra...Gra...Gravity Falls is about to be demolished!"

Mabel: „WHAAAAAAT? Who said that?"

Dipper: „Paz told me on the phone."

Mabel: „Turn the speaker on! Hi Paz! Tell me this is not true, please!"

Pacifica: „Hi Mabel! It IS true! I'm so desperate! Tomorrow i go to our mayor and if necessary i go to Salem to meet the governor."

Mabel: „Why do they want to do that? And is it legal?"

Pacifica: „They want to build a datacenter and yes, the governor has already given his okay. He thinks, Gravity Falls is worthless and the center generates more taxmoney."

Dipper: „This sucks! This must not happen!"

Mabel: „We really would like to help, but we are stuck here in Piedmont."

Pacifica: „I believe you, but it is not possible! But you can wish us luck! I already have Candy and Granda on my side and maybe i can talk some more people in."

Dipper: „We can pray for you. But hey, if you need some research, i'm ready, also at night."

Pacifica: „That's sweet of you, but you need your sleep! You already sleep not enough!"

Dipper: „If you all need help, i am going to do EVERYTHING i can!"

Pacifica: „I know! I love you!"

Dipper: „I love you, too!"

Mabel: „Awwwwww!"

Pacifica said goodbye and hang up.

At the evening she talked with Susan about it, which was desperate, too."

They agreed to go to the mayor tomorrow together.

Before going to bed, both were drinking a big cup of cocoa.
