Ken stared at the coding that filled the screen. He'd been at it awhile, and had only managed to crash two screens in the control room. But at least he damaged something…so progress? Ken realized he was going to need help. He turned to Wormmon. "Well guess we're going on a trip." He said. "Really? Where?" the digimon asked. "The real world. Maybe Koushiro or Miyako can figure this stuff out."
Wormmon looked surprised. Ken never invited him back to his world. Even as a small child. The casual statement seem to say that his alternate partner took his Wormmon home like it was a normal thing. Wormmon felt a ping of jealousy for his alternate self. "How are you going to convince those kids to help you? Also aren't the police and your parents looking for you in the real world?" Wormmon wondered aloud. "Oh, shit, that's right! I'm a psychopath and don't live in the bunker here." Ken exclaimed.
The thought brought his spirits down a bit. "I bet if I prayed to dad, this world's Castiel wouldn't show, or worse he would and try to smite me." Ken said, recalling stories he'd heard of alternate versions of Castiel. "OK well guess we just gotta be careful." Ken got up to head out. They needed to find a gate. He didn't trust himself to figure out how to pull one up in the base. "Maybe we can knock down a few of those weird towers on the way." He said.
He scooped up Wormmon who jumped a bit in surprise. Not used to being carried by Ken. They walked out the control room. He made his way down the halls, searching for an exit. Random enslaved digimon wandered around giving confused looks at the Kaiser's half dressed state and the fact he looked lost. Wormmon couldn't help but be amused as he gave directions. "We should remove the rings on these guys right?" Ken asked, glancing down at his partner. "Um…we can…but I fear the first thing they're going to do is attack you." Wormmon said. "Damn, we really do need the others." Ken confirmed.
Once at the exit, they were met by an Elecmon. "Going out Master?" He glanced Ken up and down. "Do you require me to find your cape and glasses first, before calling your Airdramon?" Ken stumbled not sure how to respond. "Uh, no thanks. Um I'll use Stingmon." He responded. The digimon looked confused. "Stingmon?" It questioned. "I've never seen that one here, but I will go look." He said dutifully and scurried off. "Um, ok…weird…anyway let's go." Ken said opening the exit and leaving.
Wormmon looked up at him. "You don't have a Stingmon under your command." He said confused. " Maybe not under my control, but we do have one. You." Ken said with a smile. "Wh-what?!" He questioned. Ken looked at Wormmon bewildered. "Has that idiot never let you digivolve?" He asked, shocked. "Well, ready to start now?" He pulled out his device but paused a moment to look at the black D3 in his hand. "Is this mine?" He looked at Wormmon who nodded. "The dark digivice is part of how you make the rings work." He explained. "Well thats definitely got to go then, where's my purple D3?" He asked. "Purple?" Wormmon questioned. "Yeah, you know the one that's the same color as my crest." Ken explained. "You only ever had the original. Then one day you showed up with that one." Wormmon said.

Unfortunately Castiel was away on "Angel business." So the rest of the Winchester family was working to figure out what the hell was going on. The Kaiser was still getting over the shock of seeing his brother alive and older. He also discovered that he apparently had regular sleep overs with the idiotic leader of his enemies. So his family got the upper hand in restraining him. The kaiser now got to deal with his family's tests.
He was currently tied to a chair in the war room while his brother approached him and proceeded to throw water in his face. Ken shook his head. "And that was for what?" He demanded. Osamu looked to his uncles. "Not a demon." He said as he walked to the map table and picked up another cup of liquid. He dumped that on Ken's hand, not wanting to get borax in his supposed brother's eyes. Ken looked up and raised a brow wanting an explanation. "Or a leviathan." Came from one of the men behind him.
"This is so stupid." Ken commented as Osamu took a deep breath and lifted a silver knife, then hesitated. "I can if you don't want to." The taller man stepped forward. Osamu nodded and handed the knife to his Uncle Sam, precaution or not, he didn't like hurting his brother. Sam approached Ken and lightly pressed into Ken's arm with the knife dragging it just a bit. Ken hissed at the sting, but otherwise had no reaction. Sam sighed. "Shifters out."
He reached for a blade that was a solid silver metal from the spike of the blade to the bottom of the handle. Wormmons eyes widened. "But they need permission! Ken would never say yes! I mean maybe if its an emergency or Castiel." However, Sam wasn't convinced to stop. "Angels can be tricky and until Cass gets here, we gotta be sure." He stepped forward and again lightly slashed the angel blade at another spot on Ken's arm. He again hissed at the typical pain of a cut as it bled a trickle of red blood. No shimmer of angel grace.
"Well he's human, just acting super off." Dean finally spoke. "Not to mention all his wardings are missing. And you're sure the witch is dead?" He continued. Wormmon nodded. "Daisuke shot her in the back with a witch killing bullet." The digimon assured. "Have we considered a ghost possession?" Daisuke chimed in. Dean shook his head. "That chair has got some iron framework in it." He turned to his brother. "So what happens now?" Sam shook his head a bit at a loss. "I can give Rowena a call while we wait for Cass. Between the two of them, one's gotta be able to pinpoint what's going on." Sam told them. "Now that you're done with your nonsense untie me!" Ken demanded. "Drop the attitude kid and we might…think about it." Dean responded.

As it turned out 'think about it' meant moving him to the dungeon. Ken huffed as his 'Brother' guided him down a stairwell with Daisuke following behind. They entered a basement and Osamu moved forward to move a sliding bookshelf to the side. Ken raised an eyebrow at the room he was led into. "This is what you call a dungeon?" He asked. "You threw some chains and a chair in a concrete basement." He continued unamused. He glanced at the pentagram in the middle of the floor and sigils throughout the place. "You sacrifice stuff down here?"
"Nope, just a dungeon and if your memory wasn't so messed up you'd remember it's held far worse than you, so it does its job." Osamu stated. "You keep saying that. How do you know its not you that's been tricked? As far as I'm concerned I've been kidnapped and you are…something, that's been made to believe you're Ichijouji Osamu." Ken spat. "And why are you so sure I'm not? The hell you call me earlier? A Bakemon?" Osamu asked as he untied Ken's arms, just to replace the ropes with cuffs. So at least he could move around a bit.
"Well considering my brother died a few years ago, yeah, pretty sure you aren't him." Ken responded coldly as he wandered around his new prison. "Wh-what? Ken, what the hell is going on in your head?" Osamu stared at his brother. Had that spell altered Ken's memories? Is his mind living some other life? "Please Ken, tell me what you remember from yesterday?" Osamu begged. Ken rolled his eyes. "As if I owe you an explanation, but I basically told 'our' parents that their world was beneath me and I moved to the digital world to further my conquest." He answered. Osamu just stared at his brother. Who the hell was this? "Ken…our parents are…gone." He said softly. Ken gave him a look contemplating what he said before snorting into laughter. "Oh if only, they'd be one less nuisance." He stated.
Osamu felt chills up his spine. Was this what a soulless person was like? If not for the strange memories, Osamu would have wondered if that's what they were dealing with. "That's why we're here Ken. A few years ago, Castiel found us after our parents were killed. He brought us here and he and the Winchesters adopted us." He tried to explain, willing the memories to surface in his brother. Ken shook his head. "First of all, I don't know a Castiel. And second, I'm here because that fool." He nodded towards Daisuke. "And those irritating digidestined obviously created some crazy simulation and trapped me in it to distract me."
"Distract you from what?" Daisuke finally spoke. "And um newsflash, you're a digidestined too." Ken glared at Daisuke. "As if someone of my stature would be part of your weak little group. Though I do give you credit this while facade is impressive. But I will figure it out and return to my reign of the digital world." He replied. "Whoah what the hell? You think you rule the digital world? Man you really do got some screws loose today." Daisuke said.
"Spiking Stike!" Stingmon launch forward to take out a spire. Ken stumbled a bit at the impact and clung tighter to Stingmons shoulders. "I really think you should be on the ground Ken." Stingmon commented. "Aw buddy I've done way more dangerous stuff then join you in battle." Ken stated with a smirk. "That...does not reassure me at all." Stingmon replied.
As the two began flying to another spire location, Ken caught sight of a familiar person on the ground. "Hey, it's Daisuke. And he's alone. Not smart but maybe helpful to start with explaining things to him than the group as a whole." He said. "Should we head down?" Stingmon asked. "Yeah let's go." Ken answered. The two descended in front of Daisuke and Veemon. "Whoah uh hi?" Daisuke said gazing up at Stingmon who lowered to his knees. Ken hopped off his back and circled around to face his friend. "Um hey?" He greeted awkwardly.
Daisuke looked alarmed and about to charge. Ken held up his hands in defense. "Before you get mad, I'm not the Ken you think I am. I'm from an alternate timeline." He explained. "Oh good one, you think I'm dumb enough to buy that? Genius boy." Daisuke spat. "Well honestly I couldn't come up with a more believable way to explain it." Ken said. "So what's your game? Trying to trick me to let down my guard?" Daisuke asked.
Ken shook his head and tried to think. Daisuke was his best friend. Hopefully he knew something about this Daisuke that his other self wouldn't. "Wormmon said you discovered who the Kaiser was because of a soccer match right? So you would have seen my bare arms in the uniform." Ken started and moved to roll up his sleeve to reveal his anti possession sigil. "If the Ken along with his parents in this world are big on public imagine, I doubt he has this tattoo. Go ahead feel it, it's real." Ken challenged.
He was grateful he arrived in this world in his body complete with all his protective sigil tattoos. He wondered why he woke in his other selfs clothing though. Daisuke hesitantly reached his arm out and ran his hand over the image. He could definitely tell by the slight raised feel of it, that the ink was under the skin. "How do I know you didn't just get this? And you're a kid, who would have let you?" Daisuke demanded. "You saw the other Kens arm a few days ago, tatts take like 2 weeks to heal. As for how, well my adoptive father took me to have it done. Its a sigil to protect me from being possessed by demons." Daisuke still looked skeptical. "Okay…demons nonsense aside, i guess that could be possible."
Ken could tell Daisuke was still unsure so he added. "You have a birthmark on your lower right side that looks like a star." Ken said. "H-how do you know that? You been spying?" He questioned. Though between his shirt and jacket in the digital world and his tucked in soccer shirt how would Ken have ever seen it? He wondered. "In my time line you got a pretty bad puncture wound that I had to stitch up on the spot." Ken explained.
"And you helped me?" He asked. Ken smiled. "Where I'm from, we're best friends."
