Terriermon Assistant was sitting on a chair looking down. Ever since he last spoke with Ami, his mind was a mess. "Ami…Takumi…"

"Terriermon?" Professor Agumon walked in. "Are you alright?"

The small Digimon yelped in surprise. "Ah! Oh, professor! Don't scare me like that!"

"You seem on edge. You've been like this for a while now. Is everything okay?"

Terriemron jumped off his seat. "Professor…Can you keep a secret for me?"

"Whatever you say won't leave this room."

Terriermon looked around to make sure nobody else was in the room. "You know how rumors have been flying around about how reality was changed? How Digimon are remembering events that never happened?"

"Yes. They say the king himself remembers such events. That's how he knew King Drasil was going to turn on all Digimon."

Terriermon fidgeted uncomfortably. "I think…I think I'm starting to remember things…No…I know for a fact that these memories are real. About getting lost in the human world."

"Really?" Professor Agumon asked. "What do you remember?"

"Well…I remember Digimon being scared of humans. But I wanted to believe we could coexist with them, so I wanted to learn more about them…Then I learned about a detective agency that has a history of helping Digimon."

Professor Agumon was deep in thought when he came to a realization and gasped. "The Cyber Sleuths."

"That was how I met Ami and her brother Takumi. During that time, I saw humans do bad things to Digimon. But I also saw how caring and trusting Ami and Takumi are. I was so happy. I also remember making a promise. A promise with them."

"And what was that promise?"

"To make a world where humans and Digimon can coexist. That's what Takumi and Ami inspired in me."

"Terriermon…"

The Digimon looked down. "I know a lot of Digimon who regained their memories hold grudges against humans. And they have good reasons. But even so, I…I…" He looked right into his mentor's eyes. "I want to believe in them! In Takumi and Ami! In the good that dwells within humans! And I…I want to help Ami. The same way she and her brother helped me and so many other Digimon."

Agumon stared at him blankly. "Terriermon…Vademon and the Director are keen on keeping Ami and Shiki. No matter how much we ask they'll never let them go."

"I know…but I still want to help them. Ami…her Digimon…they didn't deserve this!"

Agumon glanced to the side. "Terriemron…I've been thinking…"

"Professor?"

"Do you know why I became a professor? Because I wanted to help others with knowledge and science. The Next Order hired me saying that my knowledge could benefit the Digital World. But what have we done so far? We kidnapped those from other worlds and experimented on unwilling Digimon. How is this making anyone happy?"

"It isn't. We're just causing suffering like the bad side of humans Digimon fear."

"Exactly. If this is what the Next Order does…" Agumon looked at his assistant with sharp eyes. "Then I want nothing to do with it."

Terriemron Assistant gasped. "Professor…!"

"Good to know." Both of them jolted as someone walked in.

"D-Doctor Datatmon!" Terriemron yelped. "H-how much did you hear?"

"All I needed to. I did not think you have been to the human world in the past Terriemron. Much less met Ami before."

Professor Agumon stared at him. "You heard what I just said. What will you do about it?"

"What I've been planning to do since we last spoke to Ami." The Digimon flashed a sly grin. "But it seems like I won't be betraying the Next Order alone after all."

Terriemron Assistant smiled. "Really?!"

"Really. I too owe Ami and her brother a large debt from my time in their world. Our last meeting helped me remember."

"So, you'll help us?" Professor Agumon asked.

"Yes. But we cannot act rashly. We need to wait for the perfect opportunity to save Ami and Shiki. And it just so happens I wiretapped one of the Director's communications. It seems like we're about to have some human guests here at the lab."

"Did he kidnap more?" Terriemron asked.

"No. Rather he's using Ami and Shiki as bait to lure two particular humans over here. I don't know what he's planning to do, but we can use this plan of his to our advantage. Listen to me carefully…"

Ami and Shiki were staring at the ceiling. Every day they were finding less and less to do. "God, I am so board." Ami groaned.

"Same." Shiki mumbled. "I really hope someone saves us soon. I'm staring to lose my mind."

"Yeah. I don't think we even have anything left to talk about."

Shiki sighed then stared at Ami's face. Every time she did, she couldn't help but think of someone. "Actually…"

"What?" Ami looked at her. "Got a topic? I could use the distraction."

"Well…" Shiki sat up. "I've been meaning to ask this for a while…I just wasn't sure how to bring it up. It's about K."

"What about him?" Ami asked.

"Before I was taken here, I saw his face. He took his mask off."

"Huh. Did the same thing when he kidnapped me."

"Really?" Shiki asked. "So, you know what he looks like."

"Yeah."

"Well, I think I might have the answer to my question then, but…are you two related?"

Ami raised an eyebrow. "Uh, no. What would make you think that?"

"Well, he just looked so much like you. What, with the red hair, the blue eyes?"

Ami flinched. "What?"

"Heck, he pretty much looks like a boy version of you. I was kinda shocked when I first saw you to be honest."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whao!" Ami shouted as she shot up into a sitting position. "K doesn't have red hair!"

"Huh?"

"His hair was blue with some…weird bit of light blue! And his eyes were more grey than blue! Kinda like yours actually."

Shiki felt cold sweat run down her head. "What? That almost sounds like…"

Keisuke, Yuugo, Yuuko and Hudie appeared in front of the central tower in Cache City. "Here we are." Yuugo said.

"So, this is Cache City." Yuuko said. "Amazing. It's massive. Definitely large enough to house Zaxon's Pride and Sleuth's Will."

"Oh, look who it is." They all turned around to see Arata walk out of the building behind him. "Good timing. Mameo and his team just got back."

"Did they find Takuto?" Keisuke asked.

"Well…they did but…" Arata looked at the group. "Wait, where's Takumi?"

"Well…" Yuuko sighed. "There were unexpected developments on our end."

"Let's talk with the others about it." Keisuke said. "Are they all inside?"

"They are. Come on." Arata said. They walked into the building. Just on the other end of the door, Nokia, Luche, Himari, Kouta, Mameo, and Shoma were all talking with their Digimon.

Nokia was the first to notice them. "Oh! Keisuke, you're back! And you found Yuuko!"

"Hello everyone." Yuuko said.

"I'm so glad you're alright." Mameo smiled. "Luche, this is Yuuko Kamishiro. She's Yuugo's sister."

"Hi there!" Luche smiled. "Nice to meet you!"

"You too." Yuuko said. "It's good to see you and Shoma were able to find your friends Mameo."

"Well, Takuto's not here." Shoma said. "But it seems like he'll be alright."

"Did something happen on your end?" Hudiemon asked.

"When we found him in Backlog Mire, he was being attacked." Kouta said. "But what shocked us was the attackers. Skyla and Gaia. They're Shiki's Digimon."

"Shiki?" Yuuko asked. "Is that not your kidnapped friend?"

"She is. We managed to snap them out of it though." Himari added. "Then that jerk K showed up and started running his mouth about where Shiki is being kept. She's in a lab. Takuto went off to go rescue her."

"A lab?" Yuugo asked. "Could it be the same place where Ami and Darcmon are being held?"

"The Next Order got Darcmon?!" Nokia asked.

"I'm afraid so." Yuuko sighed. "You see…when I chased after Takumi we found Darcmon being attacked by Dynasmon, Craniamon and Exemon."

"Not that giant Digimon again…"

"Darcmon used some incredible form to hold them off. Then a Digimon we never saw before sent me and Takumi down a cliff. We were grabbed by strange Digimon before we were rescued by Jesmon and the Sistermon."

"Jesmon's safe?" Omegamon asked. "Thank goodness. What about the rest of Sleuth's Will?"

"After their base was attacked Zaxon's Pride took them in. Jesmon brought me and Takumi there where we meet Zero, their leader."

"Speaking of which." Hudiemon stepped forward. "Both teams have agreed to join us here in the city. Jesmon, Shakkoumon, start on preparations for their arrival."

"Yes, Hudiemon." Justimon said before he and Shakkoumon left the building.

"Anyway, thanks to Zero we uncovered Ami's location." HiAndromon said.

"You did?!" Arata asked.

"Yes. But the Next Order kidnapped Darcmon and took her there too." Yuugo said.

"No…" Nokia whimpered.

"Before we could act further on this information, the Next Order attacked us. Led by the masked human Jesmon and Gankoomon encountered before. He calls himself Brother Sorrow." Yuuko explained.

"Brother Sorrow? We ran into him here before." Himari said. "He was with that Hosaka guy."

"Hosaka?" Arata asked. "Wait, didn't you have an affair with that guy in our world Keisuke?"

"Yeah, he's the one who hacked my EDEN account. And that's not all. Someone put together his memories of the Paradise Lost incident. Same with Brother Sorrow apparently."

"The Next Order?" Samudramon asked.

"But why would they enlist the help of humans?" Diaboromon asked. "It doesn't make sense."

"Anyway…" Yuuko said. "Brother Sorrow used something called a Dark Bond to control Ami's Digimon and attack us with them."

"Dark Bond?!" Himari gasped.

"You know anything about it?" Keisuke asked. "I've never seen anything like it before. But it looks like defeating them made it wear off."

Mameo cringed. "It's what was done to Shiki's Digimon. It allows someone to manipulate the Digimon of another Tamer while stealing power from their bond."

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Nokia gasped. "Is something like that even allowed?!"

"Are Ami's Digimon okay?" Arata asked.

"They need time to recover." Yuuko said. "Zero will bring them here with the others." She looked at Shoma and his friends. "But it sounds like you know more about this Dark Bond then we do."

Mameo sighed. "…Remember when I mentioned that Shoma and I were looking for an enemy of ours when Flotia was attacked? It was a dark Digimon that created a means of gaining power while controlling other Digimon that bounded with humans."

"And that was the Dark Bond?" Diaboromon asked.

"There's no doubt in my mind now." Noir said. "The Malevolent Fist is in this Digital World. That's why we couldn't find him."

"And it seems like he's working with the Next Order." Samudramon added.

"So that's why K kidnapped Ami and Shiki?" Keisuke asked. "To use this Dark Bond on their Digimon?"

"I can't help but think we're missing part of the puzzle here…" Mameo muttered. "There has to be a reason why they chose Shiki and Ami specifically."

"Now that you mention it, it sounded like K has it out for Takumi." Nokia asked. "What for I don't know."

"Say, I've been meaning to ask." Kouta said. "If we're going to look for Ami anyway, can you tell us what she looks like?"

"Oh yeah. Well, I can do better than tell you." Nokia pulled up her Digivice. "I can show you!" She pulled up a picture she took after Takumi and Ami got out of the hospital after their return to their bodies. It was a group picture of them at Shinjuki with Nokia, Arata, Yuuko, and Yuugo. Nokia was grinning holding up two fingers at the left with Yuuko smiling in between her and Ami who was smiling with a hand on Takumi's shoulder who smiled next to Yuugo who smiled with his arms folded next to Arata who had a faint grin and his hands in his pockets. "Here we go!" She held it forward for everyone to see. "She's the girl with red hair next to Yuuko. The one on her right is her brother Takumi."

Kouta, Luche, Himari, Shoma and Kouta walked over to get a closer look. "Ha, ha! You guys sure are a happy bunch of buddies." Mameo laughed.

"What can I say." Arata smiled. "We go way back."

"Well, I can say without a doubt now that I've never seen Ami before." Shoma said. "Luche?"

"Nuh-uh." The girl shook her head.

"Me neither." Mameo shrugged. "How about you, Kouta?" He got no response. "…Kouta?"

Shoma looked at Himari and Kouta. Both were staring at the picture in shock. "Kouta? Himari? What's wrong?"

"No way…" Himari gasped.

"That guy…" Kouta said. "The redhead in the center…"

Nokia looked at her Digivice. "Who, Takumi?"

Himari gritted her teeth and glared. "That's K!"

The whole room fell into shocked silence for a moment. "Wait, what did you say?!" Keisuke yelled.

"K is…Takumi?!" Shoma asked.

Yukimura and Rikka flew over to Nokia and looked at the picture. "She's right!" Rikka gasped.

"Are you certain?!" Mameo asked.

"Yeah, we saw K take off his mask before he took off with Shiki and when we saw him at Backlog Mire earlier!" Kouta replied. "The red hair, the blue eyes, everything about his face is a perfect match! So that jerk was this Takumi guy?!"

"You're wrong!" Yuuko yelled. "Takumi would never do anything like that!"

"I agree." Yuugo added with a glare. "You're both mistaken."

"Don't give me that, we saw him do it ourselves!" Himari glared. "He attacked Flotia! He abducted Shiki!"

"That's literally impossible!" Arata objected. "Takumi was right there with us when we fought K!"

"Yeah!" Nokia yelled. "And we saw K take his mask off before he disappeared with Ami! He looked nothing like Takumi!"

"Oh yeah?!" Kouta asked. "Prove it!"

"Fine." Yuugo took out his Digivice. "After what happened I viewed EDEN's logs and saw what happened. Including K unmasking himself. The police weren't able to ID him, but I got an image of his face." He showed everyone his Digivice and they gathered.

Kouta and his friends gasped. "See?!" Nokia said. "What did I tell you! That's not Takumi!"

Keisuke and Hudiemon approached to get a closer look. "Wait…" Hudiemon gapped. "No way…"

Yuuko looked at her. "Hudiemon? Do you know something?"

Keisuke's jaw practically dropped. "It can't be… Is that Takuto?!"

Arata, Yuuko, and Nokia gasped. Yuugo looked at the picture of K. The smirking teen with grey eyes, and bluish hair that had a light blue streak. "…What?"

"Wait, you mean as in your friend whose sister was kidnapped Takuto?!" Nokia asked.

"It can't be…" Himari trembled. "This is some kind of mistake!"

"What do you mean a mistake?!" Arata asked. "We saw him clear as day, that's what he looked like!" He turned to Keisuke. "You meet Takuto, right? Is that not his face?"

"Well, yeah but-

Arata turned back to Himari and Kouta. "Then there you go! Sounds like your dirtbag friend is the one responsible for this!"

"Who are you calling a dirtbag!?" Luche shouted.

"Yeah! You're just making this up to defend that coward!" Himari said.

Yuuko felt something snap. "Don't you dare call Takumi a coward! He's fought harder than any of us! Risked more than any of us to help humans and Digimon!"

"So has Takuto!" Noir retorted.

"Well clearly somebody here is lying." Diaboromon scowled. "And my money is on you lot from another world."

"This is bullcrap!" Kouta glared. "It was that Takumi guy! We saw K without his mask too!"

"Yeah? Well unlike us, you have no proof!" Yuugo said holding up his Digivice with the photo of Takuto holding the K mask.

"And how do we know you didn't edit that photo to shift blame for Takumi's crimes on Takuto?!" Shoma asked.

"Takumi is innocent!" Nokia glared stepping forward. "He's a good person!"

Himari stood in front of her glaring daggers. "Oh yeah?! I'd say he's about as good as the idiots who would back him!"

Arata scoffed. "I should have known bringing morons from parallel worlds into this was a waste of time. Can't even tell the difference between solid evidence from a hole to the ground much less the faces of two different people. Then again, one of them is partnered with a Gallantmon, who form my experience has a roulette wheel for a moral compass, so I don't know what I was expecting."

"What was that?" Kouta asked.

Arata looked at him. "Sorry, did I stutter?" Kouta yelled and punched Arata in the face. He went for a second hit, but Arata moved his head aside to dodge and punched Kouta back in the gut.

"Kouta!" Yukimura rushed towards Kouta but Diaboromon lunged into him knocking him back.

"Listen here Tin Man. If anyone's going to clobber Arata, it'll be over my dead body."

Yukimura stood up and held his shield forward. "I can arrange that."

"Takuto's not the bad guy!" Luche shouted. "He saved me and our world! You're all liers! Takumi's the jerk here!"

"Oh really?" Yuuko glared. "And how do we know you're not the ones making lies? The way I see it Takuto is with the Next Order. And now I'm beginning to suspect all of you might be as well."

"We just came to this world." Shoma said. "But you guys? Sounds like you've been here for quite a while. More than long enough to form an alliance."

"Are you desperate at this point?" Yuugo asked. "Or are you simply stupid? If we were working for the next Order, would we have defended the resistance teams?"

Keisuke, Hudiemon, and Mameo were watching uncomfortably. Arata and Kouta caught each other's hands and grappled leaning their foreheads against each other. Nokia and Himari were practically screaming at each other. And Yuuko and Yuugo were exchanging vicious glares with Luche and Shoma. Their Digimon all looked ready to attack the moment they were given the order. "Guys…" Keisuke muttered. "What do we do?"

Momao sighed and reached into his pocket. "Keisuke? Hudiemon? You two might want to cover your ears."

Keisuke looked at him. "Huh?"

The man smiled. "Trust me on this. I'm a teacher. I know how to deal with rowdy kids." Keisuke and Hudiemon put their hands over their ears. Mameo pulled out a whistle, took a deep breath and blew into it filling the room with a loud noise making everyone else in the room yelp and drop their scuffle. Mameo then looked at them as they covered their ears wincing and groaning. "Thank you. Do I have everyone's attention now?"

"Yeah." Arata glared. "And maybe our resentment."

"Good." Mameo gave them all a stern expression. "Now listen up! Between the Next Order, the parallel worlds, the Malevolent Fist and the abduction of our friends, too many strange things are happening around here for any one of us to say we fully know what's going on! So, before we start throwing accusations, threats, insults or fists at each other how about we go through everything carefully as to not make any stupid mistakes that can put us or our friends in danger!?"

"Mameo's right!" Hudiemon added. "All of you just calm the hell down for a moment!"

There was still doubt and negative opinions between the others, but they either took a deep breath, scoffed, or pouted turning away from each other. "So, Himari." Keisuke looked at Takuto's friends. "Have any of you seen Ami?"

"No. We haven't."

"And was Takuto really with you guys when K attacked you?" Hudiemon asked.

"Of course, he was." Kouta replied. "He helped us drive that creep out."

Mameo looked at Takumi's friends. "What about you guys? Any of you seen Shiki? She's about this tall, fair skin, grey eyes, black hair in a ponytail with a pink tip?"

Yuuko shook her head. "No. Aside from you guys, we haven't seen any other humans in this world besides us."

"And was Takumi really with you when you fought K in EDEN?"

"Well, yeah." Nokia replied. "He, Ami and I kicked his ass."

"Hmmm…" Mameo rubbed his chin.

Hudiemon put a finger on hers. "It doesn't seem like anyone is lying."

"But what does this mean?" Keisuke asked. "My head's ready to split open…Are there like two Ks or something?"

Hudiemon looked up. "You know…I did notice something about K when I saw him here."

Everyone looked at her. "What do you mean?" Yuugo asked.

"His avatar, it felt…off."

"Off"?" PileVolcamon asked. "What do you mean, off?"

"Wait…Now that I think about it…" Erika looked at Keisuke. "Keisuke, do you remember that job we took from Ken Akao?"

Keisuke had a blank stare. "Uuuuuuuuuhhh…"

"Of course not, who am I asking?" Hudiemon muttered. "Remember how he and his eight friends modified their avatars to look like kids and hang out?"

A lightbulb could practically be seen over Keisuke's head. "Oh yeah! And that Impmon wanted to join in! Totally remember!"

"Wait, what's this about?" Yuuko asked.

Hudiemon turned to her. "There was this man who wanted to meet up with his childhood friends who he hadn't seen in a long time. So, to relive their youth they modified their avatars using fake parts too look like kids and play together."

"That actually sounds like it would be a lot of fun!" Nokia grinned.

"And a clear violation of the rules in EDEN." Yuugo muttered. "But then again, if all they want to do with it is relive their childhood for a bit, what's the harm?"

"The way K's Avatar was…the strange noise it was giving off…The more I think of it, it reminds me off those modified avatars."

"You think K modified his EDEN avatar? " Keisuke asked. "Why would…" Everyone thought for a minute. Then one by one they caught on and held shocked expressions. "Waaaaaaait a minute…"

"Could it be…?" Yuuko gasped.

Mameo looked up. "Sounds like we're all on the same page."

Luche looked at everyone's stunned faces. "Huh? What's going on? What do you guys think?"

"Yeah, can someone fill us in here?" Nokia asked. "Because I'm lost."

Mameo turned to them. "It seems possible that someone-likely someone from Takumi's world-modified their EDEN avatar to make themselves look like Takuto and attacked EDEN while kidnapping Ami. They then modified it again to make themselves look like Takumi before launching their assault on Flotia where they abducted Shiki."

"Really?!" Luche and Nokia gapped.

"Is that really possible?" Shoma asked.

Yuuko put a hand at her chin. "Well, I imagine finding all the fake avatar parts to make themselves perfectly resemble two different people would take a while, but theoretically if someone took the time to do so…"

"So, K is neither Takuto nor Takumi then?" Noir asked.

"But why would somebody do this?" Omegamon asked.

Mameo folded his arms. "Seems like someone was trying to pit Takuto and Takumi-Or maybe all of us-against each other."

"If so, judging by the sparks I just saw flying I'd say they came dangerously close to succeeding." Keisuke cringed.

The others looked at each other uncomfortably. "I guess that makes sense." Kouta said then slapped his forehead. "Damnit! How did we fall for that?!"

Arata sighed. "Yeah, we should have seen this coming. Why else would K just suddenly take his mask off in front of all of us?"

Himari looked at Nokia and her friends uncomfortably. "Yeah, this is awkward, but… Well, I…" She just sighed. "…Sorry."

"Same." Nokia replied.

"I should have known." Shoma sighed. "The way Takumi cared for Digimon…He's clearly not a villain like K. But when I heard accusations of Takuto, I lost my head."

"Same here." Yuuko sighed. "I don't even know Takuto, I had no right to judge him. I was just desperate to defend Takumi."

"Well, I'm glad neither Takuto or Takumi are the bad guy." Luche said. "And I'm glad we don't have to be enemies."

Yuugo smiled. "As am I."

"Good." Mameo smiled. "Looks like we cleared the air there."

"I just wish we caught on before Takuto took off." Himari sighed. "He still thinks K looks like Takumi."

Yuugo felt a cold chill as something occurred to him. "Wait…Where did you say he went off to?"

"To save his sister." Rikka replied. "K said she was being held in a laboratory east from here."

Yuugo and Yuuko gasped. "Oh no…" Yuuko murmured.

"What is it?" Shoma asked.

"Takumi just left to save Ami and Darcmon at a laboratory in the same location!"

Everyone gasped. "Oh crap!" Arata yelled. "If those two run into each other there…!"

"Oh no…" Kouta cringed. "That must be why K gave Shiki's location away! He's going to make them fight each other there!"

"We gotta stop them!" Nokia said. "Can't we call Takumi?!"

"They'll intercept any attempt we make to contact our friends in there." Hudiemon said. "Hacking past their encryption would take too long."

"Then we need to get to them first!" Himari said.

"Can we make it in time?" Keisuke asked. "They kinda have a major head start. Ugh! I knew we should have brought Takumi here with us! He has no idea that he's running straight into a trap!"

Yuuko thought for a moment. Then Takumi's voice rang through her head.

"Doesn't it seem weird? He wears a mask that conceals his face, yet he shows it to us before he leaves. Why?"

"K said he holds a grudge against me. Something personal from the sound of it. Yet I've never seen him before. And why hide his face to begin with, if he isn't someone we know?"

"I can't help but feel there is more to all of this. More to K than we saw. Perhaps it has something to do with why he kidnapped Shiki who he doesn't know from a world that has nothing to do with any of this."

"Yuuko, as a detective it's my duty to uncover the truth by any means necessary. Once the enemy shows their hand it'll be up to you. To save my sister and Darcmon. Hopefully one of us will uncover the truth about K's true face. I'm counting on you."

"Yuuko?" Yuugo looked at her wide-eyed sister. "What's the matter?"

"Guys…I think Takumi might know that K isn't Takuto."

"What makes you say that?" Samudramon asked.

"Remember what he said earlier? About how it was suspicious that K took off his mask to reveal an unfamiliar face? And how he involved a world that has nothing to do with this?"

"Now that you mention it…" Keisuke said. "He did sound pretty confident. Like he was onto something."

"But why would he charge in if he knows he's being played?" Diaboromon asked.

Yuuko thought for a moment. "…My guess…He's planning to spring K's trap to draw away his attention, so that we can sneak into the lab and rescue Ami, Darcmon, and Shiki."

"He's offering himself as bait?!" Himari asked. "That's crazy!"

Arata put a hand on his forehead and groaned. "But it's certainly something he would do. That soft-hearted idiot."

"We can't just stand around and do nothing!" Nokia yelled. "Come on! Let's go to this lab and stop those two from fighting each other!"

"We should stop them, yes." Hudiemon said. "But don't you think it's equally important that we rescue our friends from there?"

"I agree with Hudiemon." Mameo said. "Takumi is giving us an opportunity to do what we all came to this Digital World for. He's counting on us to save his sister and Shiki and Darcmon. Given the risk he's taking don't you think we owe it to him?"

"But…!" Yuuko tried to object.

Yuugo sighed. "He's right. But there are plenty of us, so I say we do both. When we get to the lab, let's split up into groups and look for Takumi and Takuto, and Ami, Darcmon and Shiki."

"Sounds good to me." Arata nodded.

"Alright, let's go!" Himari said. "We're racing against the clock here!"

"I'm going too!" Luche said.

Shoma turned to her. "But Luche-

"But nothing! If Takuto is in danger and Shiki's kidnapped, I'm not staying behind!"

"She'll be with us, it'll be fine." Hudiemon said. "Besides, she can help us bypass their security faster."

"Okay, let's move!" Keisuke said. "We got a fight to stop and friends to save!" Everyone nodded before they dashed out of the building.

Takumi slowly passed through some trees and a large structure came into view. He looked at the directions Yuugo provided. "There it is."

His Digimon appeared close behind. "Alright." BlackWarGreymon said. "Let's get in there."

"Takumi… about what you told us on the way here…" Rapidmon Armor said. "About how K might not be who we think he is…If your theory is true, would it not be better to try to talk things out?"

"If my theory is true, I imagine K found a way to make this person hate my guts. He'll likely attack right away rather than hear us out. I'd rather not resort to violence, but we might not have a choice."

Dorugoramon nodded. "Yeah. And in the event your theory is wrong, we all know this guys has it coming." He punched into his palm.

"This is a dangerous gamble." Rapidmon said. "And I don't just mean our lives are on the line, that's a Tuesday for us. But we'll have to rely on the others to find Ami."

"Yuuko and the others will pull through." Takumi said. "Come on. Let's put on a show so they can work without interruptions." He and his Digimon walked towards the lab.

Takuto, Nova and Storm stood on a cliffside overlooking the laboratory. "That must be it."

"K is likely there too." Nova said. "With these three stronger Digimon of his."

"It won't matter." Storm replied. "Whoever we have to fight, they won't stop us."

Takuto smiled. "Damn right. Hold on Shiki. I'm on my way." He grabbed onto Nova as his Digimon jumped down the cliffside.

K stood in the cell Shiki and Ami were kept in. Shiki sat on her bed having the cup like bonds on her hands and tethered shackles on her feet replaced with rope around her whole body. Wrists were tied behind her back, her ankles were lashed together, with rope winding around her shins and thighs as well. More wrapped around her upper arms and torso. Ami was on the other bed, kicking and screaming as Lilithmon was tying her up in the same fashion. "Can we hurry this up?" K asked. "We're on a tight schedule."

"I'd love to if the bratty sleuth here would just stay still!" Lilithmon growled. "There!"

Ami grunted as her binds were complete leaving her as helpless as Shiki. "May I ask why?" Ami glared. "Just WHY?! We were already helpless for crying out loud!"

"Oh, I'm aware." Lilithmon smirked. "I just thought you two might enjoy something a little more…stimulating. Besides, you should be extra secure during transport. Can't have you running amok in our base before your brothers can finally meet."

"Huh? Takumi?"

Shiki blinked. "Takuto? What are you planning to do?"

K chuckled. "You'll see soon enough."

Lilithmon flung the trussed-up girls over her shoulders. The teens yelped as they were taken off the floor, but were even more shocked when they felt the hands keeping them on Lilithmon's shoulders pressing rather south… "Hey! Watch your hands you pervert!" She bucked and squirmed. Shiki shreiked in embaresment.

"Oh, believe me, my hands are right where I want them."

K, Shiki, and Ami, all glared at Lilithmon as they shared their same thought. "Stop. Sounding. Creepy!" K left through the portal. Lilithmon followed carrying their prisoners.
