"All Might told me they'll always be people beyond our reach, that we can't protect, even though we want to. Which is why we have to save the people we can reach. I - was so close to being able to save him… I… needed to save him, had to… that's the entire reason I have my quirk." The green-haired boy on the hospital bed could no longer hold back the tears forming in his eyes. "My body… wouldn't move, I couldn't save someone who was right in front of me… and since I failed, he's gone."

After the training camp incident, a few members of Class 1-A and 1-B had to be hospitalised, the worst of which had been Izuku Midoriya. Now all of Class 1-A, except Akira and those other hospitalized, are in Midoriya's hospital room.

"Alright, then let's go get him." Kirishima replied.

"We have to leave this to the professionals, it's not the right time for us to get involved, idiots!"

"Maybe, but all I know, at camp, I couldn't do anything! I heard my friend was targeted, and I just stood by…" Kirishima replied to Iida's statement. "...helpless. So if I sit down and do nothing now, how am I supposed to call myself a hero or a man?! Come on," Kirishima reached out a hand to Midoriya. "He's still within your reach. We can save Bakugo."

"Alright, I think I have a plan."

MEANWHILE

"Akira I-"

"Got yourself hurt, that's what!" Akira cut Momo off. Instead of joining the rest of the uninjured in Midoriya's room, he went straight to Momo's.

"I had to do something!"

"You had to run." With a sigh, Akira sat down on the chair next to Momo's hospital bed. "I'm sorry… when I was out in the forest, I had a run in with one of the villains. Luckily, it was a short one but… I couldn't do anything. I know I can fight, but my body… it didn't let me. I just don't want you to get hurt."

"Akira…" Momo said, with a frown. "We're heroes, we have to fight, but I see where you're coming from, I'll make sure I'm more careful from now on."

Feeling Momo place a hand on his shoulder, Akira looked up at her, and smiled weakly. "Thanks…" After a few moments of silence, Akira let out a soft chuckle.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing it's… less than a month ago the roles were reversed, I was in the hospital bed, you came to check in on me, it's like I'm Midoriya, always getting in some sort of trouble."

With a slight giggle, Momo responded. "Yeah, that is pretty funny…" Momo just stared at Akira for a few moments, a slight smile tugging on her cheeks. Akira lifted one of his hands, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. With a slight smile appearing on his face, Akira leaned in, and planted his lips on hers.

Momo squeaked in surprise, a blush immediately forming on her face, but the moment she realised what was happening, she closed her eyes and kissed back. After a few moments, Akira leaned back, separating from the kiss, his lips lingering close to hers.

"Thank you… for caring."

"Thank you… for kissing me."

Akira chuckled again. "Consider it payback for what you did."

"Don't remind me." Momo responded, the blush slowly disappearing from her cheeks.

"Nah… I liked it."

A FEW MINUTES LATER

"So, let me get this straight." Mina said, twiddling her thumbs. "You're going to ask Momo to make another receiver, track a bad guy and try to save Bakugo all by yourselves?"

"Yeah," Kirishima responded simply, nodding.

"The villains who attacked the camp planned to kill some of us, but they took Bakugo alive, what we don't know is how long they'll let him live. That's why we're going after him."

"Have the two of you lost your minds?!" Iida shouted at Kirishima and Todoroki.

"Hey, calm down." Shoji put his bandaged arm in front of Iida. "I get how frustrated Kirishima is, and how Todoroki feels since he couldn't grab Bakugo. I'm upset too, but we can't let our emotions get the best of us, right?"

"Um," Aoyama spoke up. "We should just leave this to All Might. Mr. Aizawa only gave us permission to fight and use quirks at the training camp."

"Aoyama is correct, though I am part of the reason that we failed, so I can't talk."

"You guys-" Kirishima said, looking straight at Tokoyami.

"Listen," Tsu interrupted. "We're all shocked that Bakugo was taken from us, but we have to be rational. It doesn't matter how noble your intentions, if you go out there trying to find the bad guys, knowing you're breaking the rules, then you're acting like villains, not heroes."

Midoriya looked down at his bandaged arms. Silence struck the room for a few moments before being interrupted by a knock at the door, scaring Aoyama. A doctor opened the door and spoke.

"Sorry for interrupting you guys, but I need a moment alone with Midoriya."

"Yeah, let's bolt," Sero pointed his thumb towards the door. "I wanna see how Jiro and Hagakure are doing."

"Good idea."

"Hmm, yeah." Ururaka agreed with Ojiro. "Ok, feel better soon Deku."

They all walked out of Midoriya's hospital room, about to part ways and visit the other injured members of 1-A, before they were interrupted by a voice by the door.

"You really want to drag Momo into this?"

Looking back, the class saw Akira leaning against the wall by the door.

"What do you-"

"Her and Midoriya are already injured enough, and you want to drag them into even more trouble? Are you out of your mind Ashido?"

"We have to save him! What kind of man would I be if I didn't do something?"

"You'd be a rational one!" Akira shouted, walking up to Kirishima and grabbing him by the shirt, shouting right at him. "What kind of man puts other people in trouble because you messed up?! I couldn't do anything back then either and Momo got hurt because of it, so why do you think you're any different?!"

"I have to do this Akira."

"You have to heal. You're my friend Kirishima, one of two. Momo's already hurt, I don't want you to join her, it's too dangerous!"

"Togata, let him go." Tokoyami stepped forwards, placing his hand on Akira's shoulder. With a sigh, he dropped Kirishima, nudged Tokoyami's hand off his shoulder and turned around to walk away, but stopped after a few metres.

"Last time I went trying to fight someone I couldn't, I almost lost my eye, don't do anything stupid."

Everyone was silent as Akira walked away. "Geez, you think he'd relax for once you know?"

"He was just looking out for us," Kirishima said. "In his own, weird way, he's caring about us."

"Well you're not actually going to do anything right? Ribbit."

"I'll do what I have to do."

Letting out a sigh, Akira slumped down a wall on the roof of the hospital. Feeling the cold wind hitting his face, he closed his eyes and concentrated on thinking. His first day at UA, Momo, the Hosu Incident, his training, Momo, the final exams, the training camp, Momo. Shit! He can't get caught up on Momo, it'll just get her in more danger. He didn't want her to get hurt. Her smile, the way her hair flowed behind her, how she cared about him.

And then there was her body. Her gorgeous face, her slim waist and wide hips, how her breasts bounced whenever she ran towards him, her legs and thighs and-

CRASH!

Akira stood up and punched the air, trying to get his mind off Momo, but he felt that he hit… something.

"Ha ha, young Togata, I see you still have a punch in you!"

Looking up, Akira saw the famed Number One Hero…

"All might…"

"Well well boy, what do you have on your mind?"

"Why do you care?" Akira drew his hand back, dropping it down to his side, turning around. "You haven't spoken to me once since I got into UA, so why now?"

"I was informed by Mandalay that you said something about 'what I worried about'. What exactly do you mean?"

"Stain. People have gotten confident, thinking anyone can be a powerful villain, and they act on it, we were lucky enough to be attacked by the few competent ones." All Might didn't respond, Akira could feel his eyes staring down at him. "Next thing we know, Shigiraki could become a problem big enough to-"

"You know about Shigaraki?"

"I'm in Class 1-A, just because I wasn't in the U.S.J incident doesn't mean I know nothing. He was involved in the Hosu Incident and the training camp attack, although he wasn't at the training camp, it was obvious it had some connection to him. I told you two months ago, I know more than you think I do."

"So what have you been up to?"

"Living, that's what." Akira turned back around to look at All Might. "Just because I've been inactive for 5 years doesn't mean I'm up to trouble, I told you, I'm a hero."

"We both know there's something else to it, it'd be easier if you say it now, it'll be worse if someone finds something out you haven't told us."

Akira looked down, sighing and shaking his head. "You really think I'm the traitor?" All Might didn't respond, Akira assumed he was surprised he knew about the traitor rumour. "You need to stop getting surprised about what I know, I thought Mr. Number One Hero would learn by now."

"What else do you know?"

"I know you don't trust me, someone like me doesn't change, not entirely. Don't worry, I don't blame you, I'd do the same thing too."

"Young Togata, I do trust you, I'm just being weary. You're one of few people who know the truth about my quirk, not even the rest of the UA staff know as much as you do. I'm just making sure you're safe, not hurting anyone or yourself."

"Well don't worry, I can't hurt anyone even if I wanted to… not yet."

"Togata, what do you-"

"I haven't been able to fight in 5 years, I can train, but I can't fight, why do you think I wasn't in for the Sports Festival?"

"Well I suppose that does make sense, but then why have you been avoiding me? Afraid of confrontation, eh?"

"It only makes sense right," Akira turned back around, walking back into the building. "The last time we had a proper confrontation, I almost lost an eye."

A FEW HOURS LATER

Kirishima and Todoroki were standing outside the hospital. It had just gotten dark, and it was time for them to start their plan. As they waited, Kirishima thought back to what Momo said when they asked her to join.

'You want me to make a new receiver… let me think about it.'

A few moments of silence went by, before Kirishima decided to break it. "I wonder what Yaoyorozu decided."

"No matter how much we want to go after him, it's her choice." As Todoroki finished his sentence, the hospital doors opened.

"She's here," Kirishima said, causing Todoroki's attention to turn to the door.

Momo walked towards the pair, looking to her side as Midoriya followed. Todoroki gasped slightly. "...Midoriya."

"So how about it, you decide?"

Momo looked down slightly and began talking. "I think that-"

"Hold on." A voice interrupted, Kirishima and Todoroki looked behind them to see Iida walking towards them, causing a response from Kirishima and Midoriya. "Iida…"

"Why are you here?"

"You… why did it have to be you two of all people?" Iida started, looking down at his feet. "The ones who stopped me when I acted recklessly, who received amnesty with me after Hosu. Why are you trying to make the same stupid mistakes I made? Didn't you learn?"

Kirishima began walking towards Iida. "What are you talking about…" only to be stopped by Todoroki's hand on his shoulder.

"We're still just students," Iida continued. "And UA's in a bad position as it is… anything we do will reflect on our school, don't you get that?!"

Midoriya began walking forwards. "Iida, we have to, I know you don't like us breaking the rules but-"

WHACK

Iida punched Midoriya right across the face, causing Kirishima and Momo to wince.

"I'm frustrated too, and concerned obviously! I'm the class rep dammit, I'm worried about all my classmates, not just Bakugo! When I saw your injuries all I could think about was my brother in the hospital. What if your bodies end up irreparable just like his? Because I didn't step in? Have you not stopped to think about where I'm coming from," Iida grabbed Midoriya's shoulders. "Or are you saying that you don't care how I feel?"

A few moments of silence passed, before Midoriya spoke up quietly. "Of course I do…"

"Iida…" Iida looked up at Todoroki. "You got it wrong, we don't expect to face them head on and win, we'll get him back without fighting." Iida dropped his hands, letting go of Midoriya.

"Yeah we'll be stealthy, I'm talking covert ops here. We can rescue him without breaking the rules."

"I trust in Todoroki's judgement, but still…" Momo spoke up after Kirishima, "...things could always go wrong, so I'll join you as backup. I'll stand behind my classmates."

"You can't be serious-" Iida started.

"You're the best," Kirishima turned towards Momo.

"I know I'm hurt…'' everyone looked at Midoriya, "...but if I can still move at all, then I can't just sit still. I have to reach out and do something." Midoriya looked up. "Cause all I can think about is saving him."

"I'll never agree," Iida started. "So I'm going to come with you."

"Alright," Kirishima said. "Are we all ready to go?"

"Actually…" Momo responded. "We're waiting on one more person."

"Really, who?" Kirishima asked.

"Me," a voice said walking towards them from the hospital. Everyone turned to see Akira walking towards them. "Iida's concerns are fair, but so are Todoroki's precautions. I'm not just going to sit down and let you do this without doing something to make sure nobody gets hurt."

"Alright! That was so manly, now we have a whole squad here!"

"Come on," Midoriya said. "We should probably go now."

"Right," everyone else said in surprising unison.

They all began walking towards the train station together, as Iida spoke up. "Midoriya, I shouldn't hit you back there, I'm sorry, forgive me."

"I have some concerns Iida," Momo said as they walked, "what exactly is your justification for changing your mind and joining us?"

"Hey, you don't need to apologise," Midoriya responded to Iida frantically.

"I'm joining you because I don't condone your behaviour. It's as simple as that, if there's even a hint that physical combat might take place, I'll pull you out right away. In other words, I'm your watchman."

"Precisely what we needed," Todoroki responded.

"The same goes for me, rescuing Bakugo is a job for the pros, objectively speaking there's no reason for any of us to go after him, however, I understand how each of you feels, so I'm willing to make a compromise, don't forget that."

"Right."

"Understood."

The group continued walking, not noticing that Momo fell behind for a moment, along with Akira.

"A rescue without fighting? Seems a bit brazen doesn't it?"

"Yeah," Momo agreed with Akira's claim. "They're so caught up in their delusion that they're not noticing the impossibility of the situation."

"God you are such a posh girl," Akira said, rolling his eyes, "'not noticing the impossibility of the situation', ha!"

"Oh shut up, it's normal."

"No, it isn't, now come on, or they'll realise we're behind."

Momo and Akira walked quickly to catch up with the other four, Akira not noticing the blush on Momo's cheeks that formed when their hands brushed against the others.

About a half hour later, they were all sitting on the train going towards the location on Momo's transceiver. Momo was sitting next to Midoriya, across from them was Kirishima and Todoroki, and on the other side of the aisle, sitting across from each other was Iida and Akira. Looking down at her transceiver, Momo spoke.

"The coordinates indicate Camino Ward, Yokohama city in the Kanagawa Prefecture, our travel time will be around two hours from here. We should arrive at around 10 o'clock tonight."

"So," Midoriya looked at Todoroki and Kirishima. "Did you tell the rest of the class about this, do they know what we're doing tonight?"

"Yes, and they tried their best to talk us out of it."

"Yeah, even Ururaka ganged up on us to try to change our minds, anyway…"

"Just to make sure," Todoroki spoke. "You know we're going against the rules and everyone's wishes and being super selfish by doing this, right?"

"He's my friend…" Midoriya responded. "I refuse to turn back."

"I see, all right then."

The group sat in silence for the majority of the journey. Momo kept looking down at her transceiver, Kirishima looked out the window and Midoriya and Todoroki just looked down at their feet. Iida sat in silence and Akira put on his headphones, closing his eyes and listening to music, until an hour later when Iida talked to him.

"Togata?"

Taking off his headphones, Akira opened his eyes and looked at Iida. "Hmm?"

"I was just wondering if you had any ulterior motive for joining us, I know you're concerned about your friends and classmates, but if there's anything else, don't be afraid to let us know."

"I'm not afraid Iida, I don't have any other reasons for joining you, and even if I did, I wouldn't tell you."

Iida thought about how to respond, but he couldn't think of anything. Akira put his headphones back on, leaned back, closed his eyes, and focused on his music.

AN HOUR LATER

"So this is Camino Ward…'' Midoriya said, as the group left the train station.

"It's so crowded."

"Those villains are hiding somewhere in this city, just tell me where to go!" Kirishima shouted a bit too energetically.

"Wait a second!" Momo shouted back, stopping Kirishima in his tracks. "From now on, we're going to need to be extremely careful. These criminals already know what we look like, remember? We have to consider that we can be attacked at any moment."

"Yeah you're right," Midoriya put his arms in an X over his face. "Stealth mode."

"You're standing out even more now," Akira exclaimed, taking off his headphones and hanging them around his neck.

"We won't be able to scout effectively if we're recognizable."

"Okay, so what should we do?" Kirishima asked Iida.

"I have an idea," Momo said, looking towards one of the shops. "Though it is a bit old school."

With a sigh, Akira began walking towards the store. "Alright then, let's get this over with."

Everyone split up in the shop, to avoid suspicion and to find their own disguises. As Akira walked around the store, he found a few items that could be of some use. Trainers, shades, a long sleeved top and trousers. He walked to one of the changing rooms to try them on. Taking off his top, Akira stared at his top half. He saw muscles, yes, but he also saw scars. Scars all over his body, places he got hurt.

Letting out another sigh, he put on his new top, and continued getting changed. He has to do this, has to make sure nobody else gets hurt, for all he knows, this could- no, no time to think about improbabilities, he needs to focus on the possibilities, saving WBakugo, failing, Momo getting hurt, his-

SLAP!

Akira slapped himself across the face. This isn't the time for that. Putting on his sunglasses, hiding his eyes, he walked out the changing room to wait for the others.

Eventually, Midoriya walked out of his changing room towards Akira. "Yo, watch it, punks!"

Akira sighed, Midoriya clearly had a character.

"This is me, incognito," the monotonous voice of Todoroki said as he approached.

"Now, look like new, perfectly," Akira thought he heard Momo say, but before he could question it, Iida and Kirishima arrived.

"I feel so ridiculous," Iida said, pulling at his bowtie.

"I dunno, I kinda like it!"

"Shall we head off then?"

"Momo we're supposed to act like different people, there's no need to remain formal," Akira replied. "But yeah, we should go."

Walking out the store together, Akira sighed as Midoriya remained in his obviously rushed character.

"Watch it you punk, get looooost!"

"That's all wrong," Kirishima looked at Midoriya. "You gotta stick your chin out more."

"You lookin' at me?!" Midoriya stupidly did what Kirishima suggested.

"That's it!"

"We're just a few scoundrels looking for hot girls!"

"Iida nobody talks like that," Akira said, already fed up by everyones' horrible characters.

"Yaoyorozu, couldn't you have used your quirk to make all of this instead of buying it?"

"Well technically, but that's against the rules," Momo started saying, moving frantically. "If I started making everything, think about the impact of the economy! We must assure the flow of commerce. That's right, it's our civic duty, as citizens!"

"So the rich girl just wants to go shopping huh?" Kirishima said to Akira at the side, not noticing how his attention seems to be elsewhere. "Akira?"

"Huh?!" Kirishima snapped Akira back to reality. "Oh, yeah… right, let's go." Akira tried to keep cool, hoping nobody noticed how his eyes wandered to Momo as she explained her reasoning to Todoroki. The way her her perfectly framed her face, her outfit clung to her figure, and how her breasts-

"Everyone," Momo said, interrupting Akira's thoughts." "Our destination is this way."

They were about to start walking, until they heard a stranger say, "woah, it's UA High!"

The group turned to the voice, fearing they'd already been caught, but instead saw a screen on top of a nearby building, displaying the news about a recent conference. The group stepped forwards to watch some of the conference, seeing how the media is trying to villianise the heroes. Except for Akira, he grabbed Momo's wrist before she walked forward too much, pulling her back to talk.

"A-Akira?! What was that for?"

"The news isn't important to us, it doesn't change anything, we need to move."

"Akira…"

"What if Bakugo's being tortured right now? What if he's been killed? What if-"

"Akira," Momo put her finger over his lips, stopping him from talking. "He's not going to be hurt, he's strong, it's more likely that the villains are trying to turn him than kill him, they kidnapped him for a reason, if they wanted to kill him they would have tried back at camp."

"I know but-"

"It'll just be for a few minutes, I promise."

"The moment it's over…"

"We go, I know."

Akira watched Momo walk back to Midoriya, who stared up at the screen watching. Akira let out a sigh as he stood by waiting.

"Okay, this is the spot the tracker's broadcasting from."

"So that's their hideout?" Kirishima spoke up after Momo. "Not a bad one I guess."

"Maybe it is and maybe it isn't, according to the tracking history, the villain hasn't left this location in the past day. But that's all we know, one villain is hiding here but maybe that's it, they might have Bakugo somewhere else. We're going into the operation completely blind for the most part, please try to proceed logically."

"I don't like this," Iida looked at Momo. "None of us are good at sneaking around, we need Hagakure or Jirou here, if I think things are going to be the least bit dangerous we're done. I won't hesitate to call the police either." Iida shifted his focus to Midoriya and Kirishima as he said that. "To make sure my friends are safe."

"Thank you," Midoriya looked at the hideout. "Iida, so what can we do with what's in front of us?"

"Heyyy," two civilians walked up to them, talking to Momo as she stood next to Akira. "You looking for a real man darling?"

"Uh, I'm good!" Momo managed to splurt out, but the civilians ignored her.

"Lose these losers and come drink with us."

"Come on, don't go picking fights," the second civilian said to the first.

As everyone was focused on the civilians, they didn't notice Todoroki beginning to walk towards the building as Akira stepped forwards, placing his hand on the shorter ones' shoulder, with a tight enough grip to hurt.

"I suggest that you leave before you start something, I wouldn't want either of you to end up in the hospital tonight."

Before anyone could react to what Akira said, Todorooki looked behind him and spoke to the group. "Let's get out of here."

Everyone followed Todoroki around the corner, nobody noticing the light blush on Momo's cheeks.

"It's not crowded but there are people around," Todoroki said once they all slid into a nearby alleyway.

"We can't draw attention to ourselves, so what's the next move?"

"Let's go around the back," Midoriya responded to Momo's question. "It might be our best shot at getting some solid intel about the place."

"It's so narrow," Momo complained as they all walked through the alleyway beside the building. "I might get stuck."

"Just keep moving, we have to figure out what's happening inside." Midoriya noticed a small window at the back of the building. "There, we should be able to get a look through that window."

"We'll be blind in the darkness."

"Wait a minute, I'll make a night vision scope."

"Wait, no need," Kirishima interrupted, digging into his pockets. "I actually brought one with me for this."

"Woah, really?"

"When I thought about what we had to do, I thought we might need it."

"Sure but aren't those models super expensive?" Midoriya worried. "I did some research on them when thinking about my costume but they cost like 50 thousand or something right?"

"Whatever man just drop it."

"Right," Todoroki agreed. "Then Kirishima will serve as our scout, back him up Midoriya."

"Hold steady," Midoriya said as he climbed onto Todoroki's shoulders and Kirishima climbed onto Iida's.

"Don't lean forwards too much," Iida advised. "We might have to run at a moment's notice."

"Hey, can you move back a little?" Kirishima talked quietly to Iida.

"Right, quickly, and be quiet."

"Got it." Kirishima and Midoriya steadied themselves as Akira and Momo watched. "This place is pretty trashed, it doesn't look like- GAH!" He almost fell off of Iida's shoulders.

"Hey, you okay?" Midoriya asked worriedly.

"What's wrong? You weren't spotted were you?"

"The back left…" Kirishima shakily gave Midoriya the night vision scope. "...the corner Midoriya."

Midoriya grabbed the cope, looking in. "No way… are those all… Nomu?"

Hearing that, Akira froze. "W-what?"

"There's a bunch of Nomu in there…"

"We need to go, NOW!"

Before anyone could respond, Kirishima noticed something in the street. "Hey!"

"Is that…?" Midoriya questioned.

CRASH!

Mount Lady had used a truck as a shoe to slam into the building, causing a shockwave that knocked Midoriya and Kirishima to fall off Todoroki and Iida. They didn't see it, but they could tell that the heroes were apprehending Nomu.

"What happened?" Iida rubbed his head. "Did the building fall down?"

Kirishima climbed onto Iida's shoulders to look back through the window, and Momo climbed on Akira's to do the same.

"Gang Orca and Mount Lady, woah even Best Jeanist is here!"

"And Mr. Tiger too!" Momo continued after Kirishima.

"Everything's fine," Iida said, as Kirishima and Momo climbed down. "The heroes were on top of this way before we were."

Nodding, Kirishima spoke. "This is great!"

"Now then," Iida continued. "Let's get back home, at least we won't have to explain ourselves."

Midoriya turned his head towards the city. "It sounded like All Might is somewhere else. Does that mean he's rescued Kachaan?"

"If All Might's on the scene there's no reason for us to worry," Momo said pleased. "Let's go," she began walking. "Quick."

"Right," Todoroki followed.

They all began walking, but Midoriya stopped, causing everyone to look back as they heard footsteps.

"I'm sorry Tiger, but Ragdolls quirk was so useful." Out on the street and in the building, the Pro Heroes heads turned towards the voice, in the alleyway, Akira froze up. "I just had to take it, how could I not?"

"Are you with the League?" The group heard Gang Orca asked.

"Somebody get us a light," Tiger looked back at the police behind him.

"Since my body was mostly destroyed," the voice kept walking towards the pro's. "I haven't been able to stock up on quirks."

"Stop there, don't move!" Gang Orca shouted at the mysterious figure, just as it was about to walk into the light. As the figure kept walking, Best Jeanist used his quirk to tie him up.

"Hey, you can't just attack like that!" Mount Lady said. "What if he's just an innocent bystander?"

"Think about the situation here! A moment of hesitation could decide the fight, we can't let these villains try anything!"

BOOM!

Before another word could be said, an explosion happened, sending all of the pro heroes flying back, and destroying most of the landscape.

"I see why you're the number four pro hero, Best Jeanist." The villain spoke as he slowly clapped. "That blast should have annihilated the lot of you, but you managed to manipulate everyone's clothing and pulled them out of the way just in time. Quick thinking, consider me… impressed."

Best Jeanist layed on the floor, paralysed out of fear. "It wasn't supposed to go like this… but that doesn't matter, a true hero doesn't believe in excuses!" Best Jeanist sent strings of cloth to try to neutralise the villain, but the villain sent an air blast straight to his stomach, leaving a hole on Best Jeanists torso.

"Ahh, I see, your strength comes from practice and practical experience, not raw power. I don't need your quirk, it wouldn't pair well with Tomura's disposition."

'Who is this guy?' Todoroki thought, everyone shaking in fear in the alleyway. 'What just happened?'

'He took out three pro's… in an instant!' Kirishima thought, worried.

'We have to run, I know that but…'

'...I'm so scared… my legs…'

'...my body… won't move. What… in the world… was that?'

The group heard coughs back where the villain is. "Dammit! The hell?"

'Kachaan!'

'Bakugo.'

"My apologies Bakugo."

"H-huh?!"

As the League of Villains got teleported to the villain, Spinner gagged.

"That was gross," Toga complained.

"That black stuff reeks, I love it!" The two personalities of Twice said.

"Master…" the husky voice of Shigaraki spoke.

"So, you failed once more, Tomura, but you must not be discouraged." The villain walked towards Shigaraki. "You'll try again, that's why I brought your associates back with you. EVen this child, because you judged he was an important piece on your game board. Start over as many times as it takes, I'm here for you, all of this… is for you."

"Bullshit…" Akira managed to mutter under his breath, causing the five other members of 1-A to look at him. Akira clenched his fists together, shaking in fear more than anyone else. "You only care about yourself…"

"We have to get away… but how?" Midoriya muttered.

"Ahh, there you are."

Their eyes widened in fear. Did the villain notice them? Or…

"I'll have you return my student," All Might had appeared, and had tried to punch the villain, but the villain managed to catch All Might's fists, and now they're pushing against each other. "All for One!"

"Have you come to kill me a second time, All Might?"

The shockwave of the impact almost caused the Class 1-A students hiding in the alleyway to fall over, only protected by the small wall they're hiding behind.

"No, there's too many of them," Midoriya spoke over the noise.

"It took you long enough to find us," AFO taunted. "It's only 5 kilometres from the bar to here, and it was at least 30 seconds after I sent the Nomu that you arrived, you've gotten weaker, All Might."

"You're one to talk, it's kinda difficult to ignore that fancy life support mask you've got on. Aren't you over exerting yourself? I won't make the same mistake I made 5 years ago, you hear me? I will take young Bakugo back, and I will make sure you're locked up, for the rest of your sad life, right along with your despicable League of Villains!"

All Might dashed towards AFO. "Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you, this'll be hard for us both!" All Might's punch met one of AFO's own, sending All Might flying back, crashing into buildings as he did so. "Hmm, air cannon plus spring-like limbs, genetic booster times four, strength enhancer times three, what a delightful combination, maybe a few more enhances next time."

"All Might!" Bakugo shouted.

"Don't worry, it'll take more than that to kill him. Get off the battlefield Tomura, and take that child with you. Kurogiri, teleport them away." AFO's fingers turned black at the end, and black and red beams shot out of them and pierced Kurogiri, forcing the unconscious villain to use his quirk. "Leave this place," AFO said to Shigiraki.

"What about you?"

Before a response could be said, All Might had propelled himself forwards and was approaching the villains quickly.

"You're not thinking Tomura, there remains much room for you to grow."

"You're mine!" All Might landed a punch on AFO, only for it to be deflected with his arm.

"Master…"

"Let's go Shigaraki," Mr. Compress said. "Let's leave the main act, and reclaim your prize."

"This is gunna be fun," Bakugo exclaimed, getting into position to fight the villains, but All Might noticed and dashed towards him. "Young Bakugo, don't!"

'All might…' Midoriya thought, seeing the scene in front of them. 'All for One is in the way, so he can't get to Kachaan. They have him surrounded, so he can't escape by himself.'

"I'm coming for you, agh!" All Might had been knocked to the floor by AFO.

"I don't think so, because I am here," AFO launched All Might into a nearby building.

'It's no use,' Midoriya thought. 'As heroes in training, we're not allowed to fight. But maybe, if there's an opening, an instant, we might have a chance to swoop in and save Kachaan, and if we save him, All Might can use the full extent of his power. But how… nothing seems like it'll work, come on, think, somehow we can help him out of this! Yes…'

Midoriya turned to Iida, who was still holding back Todoroki and himself. "Iida, listen."

"We can't fight, I won't let you."

"No, I think there's another way. A way that doesn't involve combat, we can escape, with him, come on. We can still get Kachaan back!"

Iida let go of Todoroki and Midoriya as Todoroki spoke. "Tell us your plan."

"The thing is…" Midoriya looked down at his hands. "It'll all rely on him."

Midoiya explained his plan to the group as All Might continued fighting All for One.

"Are you really holding back against me All Might? Afraid the boy will get hurt?" AFO launched All Might back, who managed to land on the ground safely to dash back to AFO.

"Are you out of your mind?" Iida asked Midoriya.

"Kachaan would have recognised the situation as well, he's playing on the defensive, not letting the villains get near to him, that's good for us, we have to move when we have some space between him and the villains."

"Iida…"

"It is a gamble," Iida replied to Momo's worry. "But considering there is not much risk to us, more importantly, it could change the tide of this fight… I'm in."

The group set up their plan, Momo and Akira not being involved, just watched to make sure it went smoothly. Midoriya and Iida grabbed on to Kirishima, and Midoriya and Iida used their quirks to propel them forwards, and using Kirishima's hardening, they broke through the wall they hid behind. The second it was cleared, and all of the villain's heads had turned to the noise, Todoroki created a slab of ice for them to launch themselves off and above Bakugo.

"COME ON!" Kirishima put his hand out, calling for Bakugo to use his quirk to grab onto him, which he did.

"Just as we thought," Todoroki said to Momo and Akira.

"Let's go," Momo and Todoroki ran off, to meet back with the others, not noticing that Akira wasn't following.

The escape gave the other heroes an opening to attack the League, and managed to knock some unconscious.

"Shimura's friends, huh?" AFO stood up slowly.

"It's shameful I needed their help," All Might pointed at AFO. "But now, I don't need to pull any punches against you! You're finished!"

"They got us," AFO spoke to the League, as he fired up his forceful quirk activation. "Turned the tables of this fight with one single move. Forcible quirk activation - Magnetism!"

Before anyone could react, AFO had sent the rest of the League of Villains flying through Kurogiri's portal, leaving just AFO and All Might on the battlefield as he signalled the other heroes to leave and focus on saving civilians.

"I just came here to save Tomura," All for One spoke to All Might. "But if you insist on fighting, I will do as you wish, in the past, your fist crushed one after another of my comrades, many were forced into the shadows, underground, while you were extolled as the 'Symbol of Peace', what a grand few you must have had atop our sacrifices. A hero standing on the mountain of our defeats." All Might dug his foot into the ground, ready to attack. "Detroit… SMAAAASH!"

AFO and All Might hit fists, sending a shockwave as All Might get sent back.

"You still hold back huh? Because using your full power will endanger all those people who you've sworn to protect."

"You shut up!" AFO looked up at All Might, almost as if in shock. "Always toying with people, probing their weaknesses. You steal, break them, manipulate them and scare them! You scoff at innocent people, who are just trying to lead happy lives!"

Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki, Momo, Kirishima and Bakugo had now escaped, and separated apart to evacuate, leaving nobody to notice how Akira still wasn't present.

"It cannot continue," All MIght dashed at AFO.

"It's over."

"I won't let-" All Might smashed AFO into the ground, expecting to knock him unconscious, but…

"What's wrong?" All Might gasped. "You seem to be worked up about something All Might, I've heard that same exact line before you know? From the person who had One for All before you! Nana Shimura…"

"Midoriya," Todoroki said into his phone as he evacuated with Momo. "Are you five safe?"

"Yeah, what about you guys? No one saw you?"

"I don't think so, we're on the street blending in with the crowd now."

"Good, we're at the station, luckily we escaped that last shockwave, our rescue totally worked."

"A rescue?" Todoroki heard Bakugo say at the other end of the line. "That's not what happened back there, you idiots just happened to be my best escape route! I had to get out of there, so All Might could destroy that guy."

"He's right, All Might would've-" Midoriya stopped. "Wait, Todoroki, did you say five?"

"Yeah, why?" Todoroki responded at the other end of the line.

"There's only four of us, me, Bakugo, Iida and Kirishima."

"So that means…"

"ALL MIGHT!"

The group by the station turned their head to the billboard that displayed the scene, seeing what was happening, as Akira had rushed onto the battlefield, pulling All Might away from AFO before he could get hurt.

"Young Togata! What are you doing?"

"Togata…" AFO stood up, slowly, as he stared beside All Might to the 16-year-old boy standing next to him. Midoriya couldn't tear his eyes away from the screen, the entire group in shock as Akira had removed his disguise and ran onto possibly the most dangerous place on earth right now.

"Is that what you go by now?" AFO pointed a charred finger at Akira. "I recognise that eye anywhere Akira, just because it's been five years, don't think I won't recognise you."

"SHUT UP!" Akira yelled, Midoriya couldn't tell if it was a good thing or a bad thing that they could hear what was being said by the broadcast. "I may not have fought in five years but I still can! Don't think I won't!"

"You really think you can fight me? You're more delusional than you think, even after you betrayed me."

"Betrayed him…" Midoriya looked at Kirishima. "What does he-"

"I'M NOT SCARED ANYMORE!" Akira yelled at AFO. "I'm not… don't think I won't fight you…

…dad."
