In the blood red sky, a tore open and a large black orb out and descended into the city below. The orb opened up to reveal himself to be Yveltal with Nathan and Night Tide hiding in him. "Well glad we're out of that mess!" "Yeah and headed straight into another!" Yveltal yelled pointing at the ground coming towards them, all three of them screamed at the top of their lungs upon seeing this. "CAN'T YOU JUST TAKE US DOWN EASY!?" "YOU NEVER TAUGHT ME THE MOVE FLY!" Yveltal retaliated. "OH COME ON! WAIT I DID GIVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! ECHO USE FLY!" Nathan threw his dusk ball and echo emerged, the Noivern immediately caught the trainer and the Greninja on her back. "Ok, crisis averted! Now where are we?" "Not sure kid, though it does look somewhat familiar…." "Greninja! Greninja!" Night tide pointed at a spot in some kind of town. "Good idea Night Tide, we'll land there and see if we can get some answers, but Yveltal you might have to stay hidden in your ball." Nathan replied. "What for?" Yevltal argued. "Mainly because I doubt I'll seem friendly with a giant death bird with me…." "Fine, you got me there…." Nathan then pulled out his master ball and returned the legendary to it.

After descending on the ground, Nathan returned Echo to her ball and he and Night Tide began exploring the city, it appeared to be desolate with fires here and there, eyes on the buildings roads and streets, but no signs of anyone else. "Where is everyone…?" Nathan asked worriedly as the two wandered the streets….

As they continued through the empty streets, they suddenly heard a breathless gasp and turned to see some creature with one eye and horns that appeared to be slashed in half. "Y-You…." It said barely alive. "Oh my Arceus sir, hold on! I can get you to the nearest hospital!" "No… it's too late for me…." The creature replied. "Look you've got to get out of here, before they find you…." "Before who finds us…?" Suddenly Nathan's answer came in the form of the creature being killed in front of him, startling him with fright. He looked at the creature's slayer, it was a tall gray white and black humanoid, it had two large gray wings and black halo with two crystals facing vertically opposite from each other with a small orb in the center, it wore a pair long-sleeved gray minidress, a white sash-belt, black leggings and long white gloves and heeled thigh-high boots, underneath which they wear an additional pair of long dark gray gloves and thigh-length stockings. It had two black horns curved back and its face had a pupiless left eye while the right one was Xd out, and a disturbing stitched smile, and in its hand was a large sharp spear.

Nathan and his partner stood still as the winged humanoid moved closer. "Night Tide, stand still!" Nathan whispered to his partner Pokémon. "Maybe it won't see us…I saw it in a movie once!" "Hey fellas, there's two here!" The humanoid called out as several others with different horn shapes flew in, armed with spears, halberds and swords. The two immediately ran away as the humanoids began chasing them. "I really need to stop basing my strategies off of movies!"

As the chase continued through the streets, Nathan had his Greninja throw a couple ice beams at them to stop them in their tracks, but to no avail. Eventually their running led them to a dead end, the two then turned to the hoard that closed in, ready to chop them up. "I didn't wanna have to do this…." Nathan said, digging into his bag and pulling out a master ball. "But you leave me no choice! Yveltal! I choose you!" "Wait did he just say…" One of the humanoids asked worriedly before Yveltal emerged from his ball. "ALRIGHT WHO'S ASS IS SCREWED!?" Yveltal roared before the hoard who were shocked beyond belief. "IT'S YVELTAL!" "THE LEGENDS ARE TRUE!" "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" The humanoids immediately ran away in terror, except the curved horned one who raised its spear and stood its ground. "I heard the stories about you beast, but you don't scare me…." It said determined. "Are you sure about that?" Nathan said from behind the legendary. "I am sure, I will slay you right here right now!" "Alright then, Yveltal use Dark Pulse!" Yveltal then generated a massive amount of dark matter before unleashing it in a negative shockwave that blasted the humanoid away into a building, but it was persistent, emerging and flying straight towards yveltal with full force. "Now phantom force!" The legendary then vanished from the humanoid before it could strike, until he emerged from behind and struck it in the back. "Now finish it off with foul play!" Before the humanoid could strike again, Yveltal flew away before striking in a large black ball. "Nice one, in your face breviary wing lady!" Unfortunately the humanoid then got up, struck Nathan to the ground and went about to finish him off but stopped upon hearing a siren blaring across the city. "You got lucky, child…." The humanoid growled, before getting up and flying off.

Nathan then got up and dusted himself off while breathing heavily. "That was a close call… thanks for the help, Yveltal!" "Don't mention it, kid!" Suddenly the sound of tapping shoes drew closer. "Something's coming! Hide!" While Yveltal hid on the roof and Night Tide hid in the shadows, Nathan hid in a trash can. The sound then drew closer before revealing itself, it was a tall, slender woman with bleached white skin, rosy cheeks and black lips. She had long blonde hair, with lighter blonde and pink highlights, which is tied into a twice-banded low ponytail. Her blonde bangs flip to her left with a curl, her eyes were sin red with light yellow sclera and she has thick black eyelashes. She was dressed in a pure white shirt with a black bow tie around her neck, black buttons and black suspenders that were underneath a fiery red tuxedo jacket with dark-red lapels and a pair of red fitted pants and black and white saddle shoes. The woman passed by the alley before hearing the sound of garbage tumbling and a trash can falling, she turned to the alley where it appeared to be empty, she then inspected the fallen trash can, picking it up before noticing it was much heavier, she then opened the lid to find someone hiding in there, but not a typical demon….

The two immediately screamed while backing away from each other. "Stay back! I have a legendary on my side and I'm not afraid to use it!" The boy threatened. "Oh no no no! I'm not here to harm you I swear!" The woman replied defensively. "Don't lie to me! You will regret it!" The woman then looked closely at the stranger before realizing something, and smiled with glee before racing up to him and grabbing him close. "ARE YOU A HUMAN!?" She screamed, startling the boy. "Uh… yes…?" He answered confusedly. "Isn't that what you are?" The woman then let go. "Oh! You must've just got here! I'm not a human actually! I'm a demon!" "Oh…." The boy then screamed before backing away from the demon as quickly as he could. "STAY BACK! I SAW THIS IN A MOVIE!" He shouted. "YOU HELLISH FIENDS SLAP ME WITH CHAINS AND HOOKS BEFORE RIPPING ME TO SHREDS! OR YOU TEAR ME TO RIP ME APART AND TURN ME INTO ONE OF YOU!" "That's crazy! I'm not doing that!" The woman retaliated, "Look I know you think I'm some kind of monster, but let me just say that you have nothing to worry about, I promise!" The woman said, while the boy signaled to Yveltal not to attack before she leaned her hand to the human. "Maybe we can be friends, what do you say…?" Nathan was left with a rather hard decision, should he trust this lady? After the encounter with those freaky winged people that tried to kill him, what makes her any different? From what he's seen he should just leave her be… but then again, maybe she could help, so far she's been friendly towards him and not to mention that he's basically stranded here with no way of getting back home, maybe, if he plays his cards right, maybe he let her not only stay at a home for him but also help out with a machine to get him back home! With that idea in mind, Nathan then took the woman's hand. "Yeah let's be friends!" "Great! Nice to meet you! I'm Charlie!" "Name's Nathan!" "Nice to meet you! C'mon follow me! I know a place where you can stay!" The woman, Charlie, offered before Nathan waved his hand. "Let me take care of something first!" "Ok! I can wait!" "Yeah, Charlie, can you wait near the alley entrance?" "Oh! Ok!" Charlie then waited near the alley leaving Nathan alone.

"Ok the coast is clear, you can come out!" Nathan whispered, The two Pokémon emerged from their hiding places. "What the hell are you doing? You can't trust this lady!" Yveltal whispered angrily. "Greninja! Ja!" Night Tide added. "Yeah I know, it doesn't seem like a good decision." Nathan began. "But I have no other choice or idea on how to get back home! Unless you have the ability to travel through dimensions!" "Sorry kid, I'm not Palkia." "And do we even have a place to live here? No, so we need her help either way, but hey! We could also have her help us get home! What do you say?" "You're playing with fire kid! But given our… limited options I guess we haven't got a choice…." "Ok so until we can trust her enough and we get comfortable, I need you and the rest of my team to hide… ok?" "Fine, what about you, sneaky?" "Greninja, Greninja Greninja… Greninja…." "Thanks guys, now return to your balls." Nathan then pulled out his partners' balls and put them in his bag. "Ok Charlie! Let's go!"

After a trip through the depths of the city, where Nathan saw multiple unfortunate victims of the winged humanoids, they eventually arrived at the outskirts of the city where a large building resided, it appeared to be haphazardly constructed with a large boat on the side, a carousel on the other and a large radio tower near the roof, which had a bunch of neon letters that spelled out the words. "HAZBIN HOTEL" and a large eye-shaped window underneath, the bottom had a front entrance that resembled a movie theater with a large light with the word vacancy in front. "Welcome to the HAZBIN HOTEL!" Charlie announced leaving Nathan puzzled. "Ok… and what exactly is this place?" "Well… this is where various demons of hell, that's where you are currently, come in and through many different ways of rehabilitation, we will give them a second chance and cleanse their souls so they will be sent to heaven!" Charlie explained. "So you're running a morality rehabilitation clinic?" Nathan summed up. "Yup that's pretty much it!" Charlie said. "That way, my people can be safe and there would be no need for the extermination!" "The what!?" "It's a thing heaven does every year, where they would send down the angel army to slaughter the sinners of hell." "Why would that even be a thing?!" "Well mainly because of the overpopulation issue here!" "There's an overpopulation issue in a place in my world but you don't see them slaughtering people like miltanks!" "Mill what?" "I'll explain later how about you let me see the inside?" Charlie smiled, "Oh you are going to LOVE IT HERE!" She cheered, "And the others are gonna love you!"

Charlie then swung open the doors with glee. "EVERYONE YOU'RE NOT GONNA BELIEVE WHAT I FOUND!" She screamed startling everyone else. "Is it more booze…? Cuz we just ran out!" "No… check this out!" Charlie then stepped aside and allowed Nathan to step in. "Uh… hello…?" This startled the other demons who looked at the human before their eyes. The first demon to present themselves to him was a small cyclops demoness with curly hair and dressed in a red maid outfit. "Ooh! A human!" She said, inspecting Nathan all over. "I've never seen a human here before! So much to explore! So much to see! So much to clean! You could really use a shower!" Nathan then grabbed the demon by the side and held her like a cat. "Uh… and this is…?" "Oh that's Niffty she's our housekeeper!" Charlie introduced while Niffty shook around in the trainer's hands. "So who else is there…?" "Well…" Charlie introduced Nathan to a cat-like demon with large wings decorated with small poker chips, dressed in overalls and a small hat, large claws and yellow eyes and teeth. The cat sat in a large bar area that looked like it was ripped right from somewhere else. "This is husk! He's our bartender! Husk this is Nathan!" Charlie introduced to which Husk ignored and sipped a bottle of alcohol. "Uh… nice to meet you, Husk!" Nathan lended his hand out to shake. "I don't do handshakes or friendly greetings kid… got it?" Husk growled, making Nathan stand back.

"So… why do you have a bar if your goal is to rehabilitate demons from sin?" "Well we were against it but Angel insisted that we keep it… or he would go ballistic and murder everyone in the hotel…." Charlie replied leaving Nathan confused. "Angel?" "Oh right! Here!" Nathan was then introduced to a large spider-like demon with stylish hair, two different colored eyes, one yellow the other black, and a gold tooth. He was dressed in a cream colored striped suit, four arms with two sets of different colored gloves, two red on the upper arms and two white on the lower, he had a black bow tie and wore a pair of black leather high heeled boots. "Angel this is Nathan, a human from the living world! Nathan this is Angel dust! He's our first hotel guest! While he hasn't made… much progress I'm sure he's on his way to the path of redemption!" "Uh I think you're forgetting something rather important…." "Uh… that would be…?" "I happen to be the most famous, stylish, absurdly hottest p**n star in all of hell!" Angel answered. "Don't believe me? Well I've got the evidence right here!" He then pulled out of a pack of rather disgusting fan letters from his chest fluff, leaving Nathan incredibly disturbed. "So when do you want to talk in a more… private room…?" "I'm 14 creeper!" That however left Angel in a discomfort. "Ah damnit! He's a minor!" He facepalm leaving Charlie and everyone else confused. "Wait, you're not gonna go for him?" Husk asked, confused. "Is that one of the signs of the apocalypse?" "Hey I'm a p**n Star not a p**o! Even I have standards!" Angel retaliated.

"So who's left?" Nathan asked. "Well wait a minute!" Charlie then raced away for a second and came back with another demoness. She had gray-lavender skin, long hair with a similar color that was in the shape of a moth with a large red-pink bow with a small torn, and two long red tails under it. Her right eye was light pink sclera and an ivory-white iris, while her left eye was a slate-gray eyepatch that sports a red-pink x that somehow was able to pass through the bangs covered in. She wore a blouse that was the same color as her bow and the "X" shape on her eyepatch, with a dark slate-gray peter-pan collar, dark slate-gray scalloped-trimming on the sleeves, and two dark slate-gray buttons located down the front. And on both her arms and legs were long dark gray stockings and gloves that extended to her elbows and knees. "This is Vaggie! She's the co-owner of the hotel and my girlfriend!" "Oh… Vaggie! Well nice to meet you! I'm Nathan!" Nathan raised his hand out but just like Husk she refused. "Uh babe… mind if I talk with you in private?" "Oh sure Vaggie, one minute Nathan!"

Vaggie then stepped Charlie aside."Where did you find this guy?" She whispered. "I found him in an alley after extermination day, he looked so scared and I just couldn't leave him all alone!" Charlie explained. "Charlie, don't you think it's a little suspicious that a human would just suddenly appear just after an extermination?" "I know you are very trusting around people but I'm not sure it's a good idea to let a human in here!" "But having a human would be beneficial for bringing guests to the hotel!" "Yeah but not for the reasons we want." "C'mon Vaggie! If we give him a chance, he could be the best thing for the hotel ever!" Vaggie sighed, "Ok, I'll give him a chance, just… be careful ok?"

Vaggie then turned back to the trainer. "Nice to meet you, I'm sure you'll find your stay here rather enjoyable!" She said rather friendly, lending out her hand, to which Nathan shook back. "Now is that everyone?" The room went silent. "Well… there is someone else but I'm not sure you'll get along with him…." Charlie answered rather worriedly. "And who would that be…?" Nathan asked, concerned before the wind blew harshly, the lights flicked and the shadows swarmed towards the front entrance. Everyone stepped back as the shadows raised into a slender figure where two small radio dials and a sharp tooth smile emerged from the facial region, it soon dissipated leaving a new figure standing before them, he had red piercing eyes, red and black hair with large deer ear-like tufts of fluff and two small antlers, he was dressed in a red pinstripe coat with dark-red lapels piped with white, which is ragged along the bottom hem. Underneath was a bright red dress-shirt with a black cross on the chest, and long black dress pants with matching bright red cuffs. He also wore black gloves with red at the fingertips, and black pointed-toe boots with red deer hoofprints emblazoned on the soles. And finally a black bow tie, red monocle under his right eye and in his hand was a long vintage microphone cane, and on his face was a long sharp tooth smile with sickly yellow teeth. "Why hello my dear chaps!" He said in a dapper voice with a radio overlay. "Excuse the dramatic entrance but it seemed a lot quicker as the traffic was a nightmare let me say ho ho hoo!" The deer demon then noticed Nathan, who was shivering with fear and stepped forward. "Do my eyes deceive me?!" He gasped, literally pulling out his eyes from his sockets before shoving them back in. "Why a human has entered this realm! This is surely a shocker to behold!" "Uh thank you… Mr…" "Oh where are my manners? Alastor, Alastor the radio demon! Overload of hell, frequent lover of the classics and facility manager of this hazardous waste of space!" "Uh… okay… nice to meet you Alastor… I guess…." Nathan lended his hand to which Alastor immediately shook with glee. "I have to say Charlie out of all the things you've brought in I never would have imagined it would be a human! Where did you find this fine fellow?" "Well, I was getting back home to the hotel when I heard some noises from an alley and I found him!" "Oh this child managed to survive an extermination? Interesting…."

Alastor then shadow warped directly beside Nathan. "I have to say, it is quite fascinating that you managed to survive an extermination! What with the angel hunting you down!" He began, observing Nathan like a hungry vulture. "Those things were angels?! Wow they are not as friendly as the books say they are!" Nathan said surprised. "Hmm I wonder how you were able to fend them off…? Hmmm…?" Without warning Alastor reached into Nathan's bag and began shuffling around in there. "Hey what the– get out of there!" Nathan yelled, grabbing his bag and pulling it away from the radio demon, leading to a tug of war between the two, but leaving Alastor the winner as he pulled out a net ball. "Hmmm? And what might this be…?" Alastor said curiously, before the ball opened and out came a flash of energy that formed into the aegislash. "Aegislash?" Asked Shadowsaber, leaving the rest of the hotel startled. "Uh… what the hell is that!?" Vaggie demanded before Nathan snatched the ball out of Alastor's hand and retracted the Pokemon. "That… was one of my Pokemon…." Groaned Nathan. "Poke what now?" Angel asked, confused. "Let me explain outside…."

Outside, Nathan had explained the basic premise of his world to the hotel staff. "So wait, you just capture creatures in these balls and they work for you?" Charlie recapped. "Well they don't just work for me, we help each other!" Nathan replied holding five balls in his hand. "As time goes on they begin to grow on you and they do the same, sometimes you get better teammates than others but that's beside the point! Since you already met Shadowsaber, my aegislash's name by the way, it only makes sense for you to meet the others!" Nathan then tossed the balls into the air. "C'mon out and say hi everyone!" All at once, the ball unleashed the Pokemon inside, shocking everyone. One by one Nathan showcased his Pokemon. "This is Kineticx my Gardevoir, this is Echo my noivern, this is Titanasaur my tyrantrum, you already met Shadowsaber, and this big guy is the very first water Pokemon I got, Night Tide the Greninja!" "Your first Pokemon was that thing?" Angel asked, confused. "Well actually he started out as a froakie but that's a whole other story for another day!"

"So is that all of them?" Asked Charlie. "Well another one but I don't know if showing him is a good idea…." "Would it be in this contraption?" Alastor asked, holding a master ball in his hand. "Give me that…." Nathan growled before snatching the ball out of Alastor's hand. "Well here we go… say hello Yveltal!" Nathan then tossed the ball in the air and released the Pokemon inside, the legendary pokemon Yveltal, shocking everyone else by his mere presence. "Alright what now…" Yveltal then saw the group of demons near Nathan. "Oh s!$t! Hold on kid, I got this!" Yveltal then generated a dark pulse but was stopped by Nathan. "Hold on, they're friendly!" Yveltal stopped. "Look she's just fine, her friends are fine just don't. Kill. Anyone! Ok?!" Yveltal groaned, "Fine… but you owe me!"

"You just casually carry around a death god in your pocket!?" Husk yelled outraged. "Pretty much yeah! Don't worry, he's chill… for the most part…." Nathan replied to which Husk immediately face palmed. "Well now that introductions are out of the way, what's to say we head back and have some lunch?" "Oh I just would but not with that outfit!" Alastor then snapped his finger, pulled up a shower curtain, stripped Nathan and processed to wash him up and give him a new outfit.

This new outfit was a navy blue button up shirt with a black vest, red pants white shoes, black gloves and a navy blue fedora. "Now that's more like it! And you don't smell like a trash can!" Alastor then snapped his fingers once more and a large mirror appeared, allowing Nathan to check his appearance. "Hey I like this!" Nathan said proud of Alastor's handiwork. "Now who's up for some jambalaya?" Soon the gang then headed back inside the hotel, with their new members along the way. Things were certainly going to get interesting, especially with Yveltal with a human in hell now….

Elsewhere in heaven, the curved horned angel reported what had happened during the last minutes of this year's extermination. "So wait Yveltal, THE Yveltal was at this year's extermination and with a HUMAN!?" The angel leader asked, flabbergasted. "It appears so Sir, we are unsure of how he got here, let alone tame that beast, but this could present a problem." The curved horned angel answered. "Oh this ought to be fun… lute! Contact Xerneas…."
