In the Shredder's Lair, Tigerclaw was sharpening his sword in the Lair as the other Foot warriors were carrying various boxes, weapons and supplies, "I can't believe we're running away from the city like scurrying rodents," Rahzar growled in frustration.
"This is our town. It's a free country, amigo." Fishface said with his arms crossed. "They couldn't run us out just because they say so."
"Rokka-Rokka, I am free to move around as I please. I follow no one's words." Newtralizer said as he placed his blaster onto his arm.
"Well, we gotta follow the terms of our agreement, fellas." Koya said as she placed her box down. "When ya lose a bet, ya gotta pay up."
"I for one, am not honoring this deal." Tigerclaw said as they all looked at him in surprise. "Our master is injured and Kitsune has betrayed us. We may be leaving this city, but we won't stay away forever, not while our enemies are still breath." He said seriously.
"But how are we supposed to even fight?" Rahzar questioned. "Shredder lost his left hand, he's injured, and we can't even stay in our lair without the Shell Tribe coming to skin us alive."
"There is a way. We will find some way to--" Tigerclaw was cut off before he sensed something speeding through the streets.
"Tigerclaw?" Koya called with a brow.
"I sense something. Something I've not felt in many years." Tigerclaw said as he looked around.
Rocksteady looked to his fellow Foot Warriors, "What is wrong with Kitty Cat man?" He asked.
"Maybe old T.C. been hitting that catnip too much lately." Bebop whispered as Tigerclaw growled at him. "Chill, kitty cat!"
Tigerclaw then felt the presence again as a figure rushed through a street with blazing orange eyes. Tigerclaw then fell to his knees and with his hand against the wall, surprising his colleagues.
"Eh, Tigerclaw? What is wrong?" Fishface questioned.
"The one who took my tail has finally come for me." Tigerclaw growled as he scratched the wall with his claws, which made the Foot Warriors shock by that.
On Turtle Island, the turtles and human teens surrounded Splinter with their weapons drawn, "You sure your up for this, Ol?" Raph asked the Green-Clad Turtle, "You just got back,"
"Hey, I'm a warrior not a couch potato, this is what I live for," Olly stated confidently.
"Well, it's your funeral." Jenny joked as they surrounded Splinter.
"You sure you can handle all ten of us, Sensei?" Leo asked Splinter.
"Yeah, I mean, you don't even have a sword," Miwa said with a brow.
"Perhaps I don't need a sword." Splinter said as he reached into his robe which put them on guard.
Splinter then pulls out a gourd and drinks it, Leo looks at Raph who shrugged. When Splinter stopped he started getting wobbly with a dopey smile, much to the teens surprise.
"Is he…drunk?" Robyn asked with a brow.
"Something tells me Sensei wanted us to learn something." Donnie said with a surprise look.
"Goongala!" Casey called as he charged at Splinter, but he wobbly dodged their his strike as he simply punched Casey back as Keno and Zach charged at him but he jumped and they crashed into each other. Raph and Jenny charged at Splinter, but he shook them as he spun them around as they fell to the ground. Mikey and Ames swung their weapons as Splinter did wobbly movements as he gave a burp.
"Ew!" Mikey cringed.
"Okay, that's gross." Ames added as they charged at Splinter, who dodges their strikes as they managed to push Splinter to the wall. "Ah-ha! Gotcha!" She cheered, but Splinter glared at them as they were intimidated and moved backwards and fell to the ground.
Donnie tried to swing at Splinter from behind while Tal aimed her bow from the front but Splinter ducked and the two stopped just in time before they hit each other, "Wah, sorry!" Donnie apologized.
"Yeah! Almost hit you!" Tal added before Splinter grab them by their legs and held them there as Ames and Mikey got up, but Splinter kicked the two Smart Turtles to the younger ones as they fell to the ground.
Miwa, April, Robyn and Caitlyn tried to attack Splinter from all four side but when they brought their weapons down, Splinter was gone.
"Hey wha?" Caitlyn exclaimed.
"How did?!" Robyn questioned.
"He disappeared!" April said in shock.
Splinter then appeared behind Miwa and knocked her on the head with his gourd before he kicked the O'Neil sisters in the face and tailwhip Caitlyn to the ground.
Leo and Vee tried to jump at Splinter from the side but he grabbed their heads and threw them aside before turning to Olly and Naomi.
Splinter took one more sip as Naomi spun her spear and charged him, but Splinter simply jumped up as he springboard off Naomi, knocking her to the floor, and he pounced on Olly, shook him around before spitting his drink in Olly's face.
"Ew, gross!" Olly exclaimed before he fell on his backside and Splinter landed on his toes and drink the last drop from his gourd. The teens looked in awe as they got on their knees as Splinter looked at them. "Wow, even when drunk, you are just as skilled." He commented.
"Unorthodox methods may sometimes be necessary in order to defeat the enemy." Splinter said in a slurring tone. "Yet you should also be prepared for your enemy to do the same. Therefore, you all must learn to hone your intuition." He said while he leaned Olly's axe and gave a burp.
"Leonardo, Zach, Robyn, Olivier, Venus De Milo, Amoly and Michelangelo have the strongest ability to sharpen their intuition. Anger and pride cloud too much of Raphael, Catilyn, Miwa, and Jennika's foresight. Donatello, April, Keno, and Talena are too grounded in their rational minds." He said as they listened. "Only Maolier's is near perfection." He said as they turned to Naomi, who sat in focus on her Hamato Ninpō.
Casey just scratched his butt as Splinter turned to him, "Casey, your intuition is basically…0.0." Splinter stated bluntly.
"Casey Jones is a born warrior!" Casey yelled in insult. "I've got tons of intuitions, yo!" He called before Splinter whacked him in the head with his tail.
"Did you intuit that?" Splinter questioned as April, Keno, and Donnie laughed from that. "Now you have graduated to the next Don. There is nothing to give you, only wisdom: listen to the silent part of yourself, which was never born into the world." He advised as Casey came up to him and mocked him as he tried to whack Splinter, but he used his tail and whacked Casey down without looking as he gave a smirk.
"That's pretty deep Sensei," Zach said in amazement before smirking at Caitlyn, "Looks like I'm better at intuition than you, Caitlyn," he teased.
"Watch it, lunkhead," Caitlyn warned.
Vee suddenly gasped and sat stiffly as they turned to her. "Vee?" Leo asked as Vee was in darkness while she saw Casey with two twin blades as he turned to reveal he had skull face, which caused her to scream as she was snapped back into reality. "Vee? What's wrong?" Leo asked in concern.
"I had, some kind of vision, there were these Twin Blades and," Vee explained before turning to Casey, "Casey, you need to be careful, very careful," she warned seriously.
"Casey Jones doesn't do careful." Casey said with his arms crossed.
In the lab, Olly was sitting on a table with Tal and Donnie checking his brain activity as Olly yawned in boredom. "I'm telling you two, I'm fine. My mystic powers burn out the last of the virus." He said.
"Well, your brain waves are normal with no trace of the Brain Virus, but we're not entirely sure." Donnie said while looking at his notepad as Olly removed the cables on his head.
"Come on, Don. There's no virus or worm left up there to scan." Olly said to him.
"Still, we should be careful if that happens again." Tal said to her brother. "You were in the hands of the Shredder for days."
"Which is why I'll be happy to take his other arm if he shows his ugly mug here again," Olly said with a glare.
"Seems reasonable." Donnie said as the others walked in.
"You're up for patrol, Olly?" Leo asked as Olly stood up. "We're going to see if Shredder really was legit about leaving New York,"
"I'm good to go." Olly said while stretching. "We'll split up, Raph, you're with Casey, Keno, Zach, and Jenny, Donnie, Tal, with April, Caitlyn, and Robyn, Mikey, Ames, Vee, and Leo, Naomi, and Miwa you're with me." He instructed.
"Right, let's move." Leo said as they all walked out with their bracelets as they went to their vehicles.
On the Rooftops, Olly, Naomi and Miwa were looking around, "Well no mutant falcons or alien lizards," Olly noted.
"So far, the streets are clean with no Footbot patrol." Miwa noted while looking down on the streets. "Not even Foot Cycles."
"It appears the Shredder has truly honored his words." Naomi noted.
"I guess we should…" Miwa trailed off when she noticed a woman walking down the streets and took note of her face, "Wait, that looks like…no it couldn't be," She said.
"What's wrong, Miwa?" Olly asked in confusion. "You saw a Foot?"
"No, but something familiar." Miwa said while pointing down to the woman, which Olly and Naomi followed.
Olly raised a brow, "That woman? Never seen her before," He said while Naomi gasped, recognizing her features.
"But, but that's impossible," Naomi said turning to Miwa, "W-We were there when she," she stopped herself in disbelief.
"Okay, am I missing something here?" Olly asked with a confused look. "How did you two know her?"
"Oh, you weren't with us when we traveled through time, Olly." Miwa said to him. "But she… she's someone we've known in the past."
"Wait, time travel?" Olly asked in shock.
"We'll explain later. Right now, maybe she might help us confirm our hunch." Naomi said as the two girls jumped down as Olly gave a confused look.
"Time travel?" Olly repeated before he followed after the girls.
The woman walked down the alley as she gave a concerned look. "Oh, where could she be? She shouldn't have run off like that. Why didn't she just stop and listen?" She asked herself in concern as she looked around the alley.
Then jumping down the alley were Olly, Naomi, and Miwa, which startled the woman as she found herself surrounded. "Yokai?" The woman said in shock of Naomi and Olly.
"Wait, Yokai?" Olly asked in confusion. "Uh, Ma'am, but we're…" He was cut off when Naomi elbowed him. "Ow! What was that for?"
"She's from Japan. She thinks we're the Yokai we were back in the past." Naomi whispered to him as Olly was surprised by that as he nodded in understanding.
Miwa approached the woman, looking hopeful as the woman noticed her features and gave a gasp of shock, "You," The woman breathed out.
Miwa, upon seeing her reaction gave a sullen expression, "So, you aren't her," She said disappointed as the woman placed a hand her shoulder.
"No, but I can understand why you would think that," The woman said comfortingly, "And you are a perfect reflection of her when she was your age, Miwa," She said as Miwa gave a smile before quickly giving her a hug.
Olly blinked in confusion, "I'm sorry, how do you know our friend?" Olly asked.
"Oh, where are my manners? My name is Tang Amaya, it's an honor to meet you Kappa," Amaya greeted with a bow as Olly noted her last name.
"Wait, 'Tang' Amaya?" Olly repeated as his eyes widened, "Hold on, you wouldn't happen to be related to someone called-"
"Tang Shen?" Amaya guessed with a smile, "Yes, you would be correct, I am Tang Shen's twin sister," She confirmed.
"I think you were mentioned somewhere before," Miwa said as she looked at Amaya. "So, if you were my mother's sister, that means…"
"I am your aunt, yes." Amaya said with a smile. "It's wonderful to see you again, Miwa."
The two of the hugged while Naomi smiled while Olly still frowned confusedly, "Okay, I am seriously lost right now." Olly commented.
"It's a long story, Olivier." Naomi said with a smile. "Let's just say that these two are family."
"Yes. And I am happy to have finally found you." Amaya said with a smile. "If you're alive, is Yoshi alive as well?" She asked hopefully.
"Yeah, he is but a little…different," Miwa said sheepishly before frowning, "So, I take it you know about…what happened to mom,"
Amaya frowned. "I have. It is sad to learn your own flesh and blood has passed on. On the same day the Hamato Clan fell." She said before frowning, "It was Saki who told me your mother's blood was on your father's hand,"
"You know that my father would sooner jump in a volcano than hurt mother," Miwa said with a frown.
"Yes. Which is why me and my husband have been searching for answers. When I learned you and Yoshi were alive, I knew I had to find you." Amaya said with a determined look.
"So it was Miwa who you were searching for before we arrived," Naomi asked.
"Well, half the reason, yes." Amaya said, which surprised the group. "I was also looking for my own daughter. She ran off earlier and didn't say where she was going."
"Well, if you like we can help you," Olly offered, "Just tell us what this girl looks like?"
Amaya then gave a nervous, "Well, that's where it gets complicated, she's not your typical human daughter she's-" Amaya tried to explain before something rushed down the street blowing wind in their faces. "Oh! That was her!" She called, recognizing that blast of wind.
"Wait, that was your daughter!?" Miwa asked in shock as they saw an orange/purple blur rushing through the city.
Olly then reached for his T-phone, "Guys, we got a UFO incoming!" Olly reported.
"An Unidentified Flying Object?" Donnie questioned.
"No, an Unbelievable Fast-moving Organism." Olly explained, "It seems to be heading towards the Chinatown museum!"
"Raph, your group is closest, do you see it?!" Olly asked Raph as he, Jenny and the human boys then felt the blur run past them while blowing a gust of wind.
"Copy! We're pursuing now!" Raph called as he and his team drove after the blur.
Meanwhile, The Foot Mutants were waiting in an alley while waiting for what Tigerclaw is sensing. "I'm bored," Fishface complained.
"So, are we gonna move or what? Because nothing is happening." Rahzar said in annoyance.
"How about some tunes to past the time?" Bebop questioned as he held up a tape. "Just made this Dope mixtape."
"Da, we passes time with the rapping, watch." Rocksteady said as he started rapping.
"Oy, would ya stop that." Koya groaned.
"Si, that not music, just noise." Fishface said in annoyance as Tigerclaw growled.
"Will you all just be quiet?!" Tigerclaw yelled before he gasped and had a vision of twin blades.
"You okay, Tigerclaw?" Rahzar asked.
"Let's just move." Tigerclaw said with a serious tone. "And shut up."
At the Chinatown museum Raph's team parked in front of the museum. Inside the guard looked around and saw no one around until a shadowy figure came out and walked up to the twin blades and remove them from their shelves. "Drop the blades, sweetheart." Raph said as he and his team were at the entrance.
Coming out from the shadows was a mutant fox girl with purple Shinobu garb, "Whoa, another mutant?" Jenny said in surprise.
"My name is Alopex, turtle girl." Alopex said to Jenny with a glare.
This caused the boys to chuckle from the name. "Turtle girl." Raph snickered before he saw Jenny's glare and faked a cough.
"It's Jennika!" Jenny yelled in irritation as she drew her claws. "Now put the blades down!"
"Well, Jennika, allow me to give you a history lesson on the Blades of Vengeance." Alopex said as she looked at the blade's reflections. "Centuries ago, they were owned by twin sisters. They used them against an evil warlord who had slain their family. The blades cursed any man who was even scratched by their steel." She said as they all looked bored.
"Girl, that's an interesting lesson. But, you're stealing, so we're gonna stop you." Keno said while tapping his batons together.
"Or face justice!" Casey said as the others groaned as Zach coughed.
"Lame!" Zach coughed as Casey turned to them with a glare.
"Goongala!" Casey called as he charged at Alopex, but she super sped past him with his bat. "Hey!" He said, seeing his weapon was gone.
"Looking for this?" Alopex questioned with a sly smirk as she hit the bat in her paw as the others looked in awed before Alopex dropped the bat.
"Whoa, she's fast." Keno said in shock as Alopex sped around Casey and removed his gear.
"Too fast!" Zach added in amazement.
"What is all of this junk?" Alopex questioned while looking at Casey's gear.
"That's it!" Casey yelled as he brought out his taser and zapped Alopex, who screamed in pain before she flung back to a casing. "Heha! Yes!"
"Filthy Normal!" Alopex insulted as she rubbed her foot against floor before zipping off and striking Casey from all sides. She then brought out the twin blades and slashed Casey with them with a yell, which knocked Casey to the wall.
"Casey!" Keno yelled as he, Zach and Raph pulled out their weapons but Jenny stopped them.
"Hold on boys, this one's mine," Jenny said as she focused her Hamato Ninpō, "Time to go fast!"
"You think you can outrun me?" Alopex asked with a smirk as she ran up at Jenny, but then Jenny opened her eyes and swiftly dodged, which shocked Alopex. "What?!" She called before Jenny appeared behind her.
"Are you saying that Turtles are slow?" Jenny questioned behind Alopex's ear, which caused her to turn and she quickly blocked Jenny's claws, "That's a hurtful stereotype."
Alopex then started running around the museum, but Jenny sped after her and countered her every attack as they were only seen when they clashed.
The boys had trouble keeping an eye on them, "Whoa! They're so fast, you can't even see them!" Keno said as his eyes followed the blurs.
"I'm getting dizzy," Zach said, holding his head while his eyes were spinning.
Jenny and Alopex were currently in a grapple, trying to push each other back. Despite the struggle, Alopex gave a smirk, "I must admit, it feels good to finally fight someone who can keep up!" She told Jenny.
"And I'm a bit surprised that there's someone else with super speed." Jenny said with a smirk. "And it's not even Hamato Ninpō." She said as she and Alopex clashed blades as they kept running around the room while the boys watched. "Now, tell me, why are you taking these blades? You're gonna use them for ransom?"
"I'm using them for my own purpose!" Alopex called as she pushed Jenny back and tried to swipe her, but Jenny jumped up and threw throwing stars, but Alopex blocked them before she kicked Jenny down. "Aren't turtles supposed to be slow and endangered?" She taunted with a smirk.
"Only the ones who can't do this!" Jenny called as she delivered a double kick to Alopex, which knocked her to the wall as she barely landed on her feet.
Alopex growled and was about to attack again before she sensed something, "He's here! We'll finish this later!" She told Jenny before rushing off.
"Hey, get back here!" Jenny called out with her weapon raised as Casey came to.
"Oh, man. That's smarts." Casey said as he had a cut on his cheek.
"You good, Jones?" Keno asked.
"Yeah, just a scratch." Casey assured.
Outside the museum, Alopex ran out before she stopped by the Dragon Gate and in front of Tigerclaw, "Takashi!" Alopex said with a glare.
"Alopex." Tigerclaw said with a glare in return before he noticed something about Alopex's belt. "You wear my tail like a trophy!?" He questioned while pointing a finger, seeing that Alopex made his tail into a belt.
"I'm going to remove your head next!" Alopex said, holding the blades up.
The other Foot Warriors moved to attack before Tigerclaw stopped them, "No! She is mine." Tigerclaw told them as Alopex charged in, but he avoided her speed strikes as he took to the air and started firing at her with his pistols, which Alopex quickly dodged as he landed on the Dragon Gate and turned to the side to see Alopex there.
The two then clashed at each other while Tigerclaw surprisingly blocked her strikes while still firing at Alopex before he took to the air again while the Foot Warriors watched. "Wow. Who knew Tigerclaw was that fast." Fishface commented.
"He clearly fought this fox mutant before. Since they seem to know each other." Rahzar noted. "Especially since she was the one who took his tail."
Newtralizer then hummed, "Though it seems like they've known each other for much longer than that," He commented.
"What are you saying, Dawg?" Bebop asked in wonder.
"I have a theory, but I believe Tigerclaw must confirm it." Newtralizer rumbled. "Though, he could use a hand. Rokka-Rokka."
"Da, but comrade Claw says this his fight," Rocksteady reminded.
Koya kept her eyes on the fight, following Alopex's movement before narrowing her eyes, "Gotcha!" She said before spreading her wings and taking off like a bullet, kicking Alopex back.
"Koya! I told you too--" Tigerclaw tried to say.
"You needed help! You can hardly keep up with this little speeder!" Koya yelled firmly as Alopex got up as Koya quickly grabbed her by the talons and tossed her up as Tigerclaw kicked her to the ground as she rolled across the ground and in front of the Foot Warriors.
Rocksteady picked up Alopex as she moved around in his grip. "Hold still, Foxy." He said before Alopex delivered multiple kicks to his face and kicked him back into Bebop as she landed on the ground.
"Wow, not bad for a little chica." Fishface said with a flirting smirk.
"A little fox with a big bite," Alopex mocked as she rushed towards Fishface but was grabbed by Rahzar.
"Sorry, but there's only room for one dog in this town," Rahzar mocked while holding Alopex up, "I always wondered what fox tastes like."
"Well, you could use more meat on your bones!" Alopex retorted as she smacked Rahzar by the head, which made him yelp in pain, which caused him to let go as she flung Rahzar to a wall. She then ran up to Fishface and grabbed him by the robo legs and tossed him to a car, "I'll be back, Takashi!" She promised to Tigerclaw before running off, not noticing Newtralizer firing something on her.
"Sooner than you think." Newtrailzer said with a smirk as Tigerclaw flew down towards them.
"I told you all to stay out of this!" Tigerclaw yelled.
"Be grateful we saved you." Koya said firmly as she landed beside Tigerclaw. "From what we saw, you barely even landed a shot on that fox."
"What's going on, Tigerclaw?" Rahzar demanded walking up to him, "Who was that Alopex?"
"Si. You two seem to know each other." Fishface said. "More than just old enemies."
"Just who is that little dingo to ya, partner?" Koya asked Tigerclaw.
Tigerclaw could see they wanted answers and he sighed before answering, "My younger sister," he revealed.
This made the Foot Warriors all look in shock by his answer. "Snap Dizzle!" Bebop exclaimed in shock.
Somewhere in the city, Hamato Teen were heading to regroup as Donnie's team were on their way, but then they saw Alopex in a blur ran past them. "Whoa! What was that?!" Robyn exclaimed in shock.
"The UFO Olly warned us about." April said in shock.
"Well, let's go. We can't keep the others waiting." Donnie said as they continued to meet up with the others.
Once they reunited, the Hamato Teens spent the next few minutes explaining and Miwa introducing Amaya, they were shocked by what they discovered. "Wait, so that mutant fox was your daughter?!" Mikey asked in shock.
"Adopted daughter but I still treat her as my own flesh and blood." Amaya said to them.
"Well, your daughter sure knows how to steal and run." Raph said with his arms crossed. "She nearly kicked our shells if Jenny hadn't fought her off.'
"Though I have to admit, her speed was impressive." Jenny said with a smirk.
"Wait, steal?! Alopex is no thief!" Amaya said in shock.
"Well, she did. She took two twin blades from the Chinatown museum and took off." Keno said with his arms crossed. "But that's all she took. Everything else is accounted for."
"Casey, what happened?" Vee questioned when she saw Casey's cut.
"I got cut by one of those blades she stole." Casey said while touching his cut. "But it's nothing, yo. Barely a scratch."
"You need to be more careful," April told her friend as the air conditioner above them started to come loose.
"Didn't know you cared, Red?" Casey teased.
Keno looked up and saw the air conditioner about to fall on Casey, "Oh man, heads up!" Keno shouted as he pushed Casey out of the way as the conditioner hit the ground.
"Phew, thanks, Keno. That was close." Casey said in relief.
"Yeah, too close." Olly said with a suspicious tone. "We need to get back to the island so we can figure out what Alopex knows about the blades that we don't." He said.
"Wait! Take me with you!" Amaya said with a pleated look.
"What? We don't even know you." Raph pointed out. "Just that your daughter is a thief."
"But I am also your Master's sister in law, and as Tang Shen's sister it's my duty to help you," Amaya said firmly getting in Raph's with a glare, "So, either you take me to Yoshi or I will hack of your limbs and cook your meat over a fire with your shell as the bowl." She threatened as Raph retracted his head with fear.
The others looked surprised as Miwa gave a smirk. "That's my aunt all right." She said as Olly coughed.
"Uh, I say she comes along." Olly said with a small smile. "Any argument, Raph?"
"Uh, nope. I'm good." Raph said quickly with a nervous smile. "Let's bring her along. She is family." He said as the others laughed in amusement.
"Okay. Let's go." Olly said as Amaya placed a hand on Miwa's shoulder just as they activated their bracelets and teleported to Turtle Island.
On Turtle Island, Donnie was fixing the vehicles with Tal with the others hanging around as Amaya and Splinter were talking, "Yoshi, I must say when your daughter said you had changed I wasn't expecting…this," Amaya said gesturing to his mutant form. "How did this happen?"
"A story for another time, Amaya, but to put it simply, fate had interesting plans for me," Splinter explained before giving a guilty expression, "Also, I hope you can forgive me for what happened to Shen,"
"It wasn't your fault, Yoshi." Amaya said with a smile. "My sister will be missed. But she gave her life to protect you, and I am proud of her for it. I am just happy to know you and my niece are alive."
"Yes, indeed." Splinter said with a smile. "And it's great to know that you were still out there. Though, I am surprised you adopted a unique child yourself." He said.
"I could say the same about you." Amaya said with a smile while gesturing to the turtles. "I am surprised that such an island exists. Home to Kappa that are descended from the ways of the Hamato Clan."
"Indeed. It feels like my old home 16 years ago." Splinter said with a proud smile. "I am glad that part of the Hamato clan still lives on."
"And I'm glad that my family still lives on." Amaya said with a smile as well.
Leo was looking through the website. "Find anything, Leo?" Olly asked.
"Nothing on the blades yet. But I'm still looking." Leo said to him.
"That Alopex was really something." Raph said while eating a slice of pizza before Jenny gave him a glare. "But, she's not you, babe." He assured as Jenny gave a smile in response.
"Okay, I found something." Leo said as he looked on the internet of an accident related to the twin blades. "The Twin Blades Alopex stole really are said to be cursed. But it doesn't say what the curse is." He informed.
"Because they are only known by Ninja," Orimura said as he stepped forward with a scroll. "These are the Cursed Blades of Vengeances. A person wounded by them, even the smallest cut, will be cursed to fatal misfortune." He explained as Casey touched the bandage over his scratch.
"Death curse? For real?" Casey questioned as he took a slice of pizza. "That's redonkulous." He waved off.
"I'm not so certain," Naomi spoke as she looked at Casey seriously, "Casey, I can't explain it but there is something…chaotic about your aura." She said.
Then Mikey accidentally launched one of the Patrol Buggies' throwing disks that rickashay off the trees as Casey dropped his pizza as bent over to pick it up, barely ducking the disk.
"Ah!" Casey lifted his head up startled when he saw the disk nearly nailed him in the head.
"Oh, it's the curse, dude!" Mikey cried.
"B-but I-I don't believe in curses!" Casey rebutted anxiously while backing up, "Sure ancient Chinese spirits, Dream Beavers, interdimensional aliens, Mystic turtle powers, but curses? Please!" He stated while against a table with a beaker over a cooker. Then the cooker caused a poster to catch fire as Casey yelled in panic as he backed away before he saw his shoulder was on fire. "Whoa!" He cried as he put out the flames while Donnie rushed off to his poster.
"Now do you believe?" April questioned him with a look.
"Okay! I believe! I believe!" Casey cried as Donnie put out the fire with a fire extinguisher. "I don't want to be cursed! Being cursed sounds worse than being poisoned by Miwa!" He cried before he remembered how Miwa poisoned him by kissing him as he closed his eyes with a warm smile.
"Actually, the getting poison part was pretty sweet." He said wistfully as Miwa walked up to him and flicked his bandage. "Ow!"
"Then maybe you'd like a second helping?" Miwa asked, raising a snake hand to his face that hissed.
"Uh, no thanks!" Casey quickly said with a sheepish look.
"Did Miwa just…" Amaya said in shock.
"Yes. Again, a story for another time." Splinter said to her as she nodded slowly.
"Okay, now we know what the blades are and what they do." Olly spoke up. "So, how do we cure Casey?"
"According to lore, there are only two methods of reversing the curse: The first is to use the blades on the one who inflicted the curse, passing it back to them." Orimura explained.
"NO!" Amaya yelled out. "You all are not using those blades on my daughter!"
Orimura then held up a hand, "But the second is to shatter the steel of the blades themselves, destroying the curse along with it." He explained.
"So, we find Alopex, take the blades and destroy them to remove the Curse." Leo spoke up seriously. "Better than inflicting it on another soul."
"That I can allow." Amaya said with a relieved smile.
"Alright then, let's go fox hunting." Olly declared.
Back in the city, the Foot Warriors were hanging out on a rooftop, still reeling from what Tigerclaw revealed, "Wait, wait, wait! Time out! So let's get this straight," Fishface said holding up his hands, "So this Alopex, the one who took your tail, is your sister?!" He asked in shock.
"Yes. I have already explained it to you 10 times." Tigerclaw said in annoyance.
"You never told us you have a sister." Rahzar said with a brow. "In fact, you never told us you had a family."
"You never asked," Tigerclaw pointed out simply.
"But why are you so afraid of you, TC?" Bebop question in confusion.
"Da, aren't you two family?" Rocksteady asked.
"I am not afraid of her." Tigerclaw said to them. "It is much more complex than that." He said as he looked away.
"Care to explain the tail?" Koya asked.
"Yes. Tell us the true origin behind you're rivalry. Rokka-Rokka." Newtralizer said.
"Very well." Tigerclaw said without looking, "Listen well. We were children. A portal opened in our small village, and thinking it was a magic door, we entered and ended up at the mercy of insidious beings." He said with a borderline of hatred.
"The Kraang," Koya realized.
"Yes, they mutated and experimented on us. But after many months of hardships, we escaped through a portal back to Earth," Tigerclaw continued before his face fell slightly, "But we were monsters now. We could not return home and so we fled."
"Why didn't yous go back home your parents? Were theys not worried about you?" Rocksteady questioned.
"We were tempted to go at first, but I knew our family wouldn't never accept us after what we became." Tigerclaw said with a growl as he clenched his fist. "So we found refuge in a circus sideshow. We were famous because of my impressive aim and my sister's unmatched speed. But our skills were much too valuable. So we became top-level assassins in the criminal underworld. We were notorious and feared."
"Sounds like you two were quite the pair back in the day." Fishface noted.
"So, what happened? What turned your relationship for worse?" Newtralizer asked.
Tigerclaw then gave a regretful look, "One day, our mother and father had found me, they had searched for us for years, trying to bring us home but when they saw what I was and became afraid, I…did something that can never be undone." He said while clenching his fist.
"You mean you…" Rahzar trailed off, getting what Tigerclaw is saying as the Foot Warriors catch on.
"Aye, that's rough." Fishface commented.
"It was one of the only things I regret in my lifetime." Tigerclaw said strongly with a hint of regret. "When Alopex learned what I did, she turned on me, and tried to kill me. We engaged in a fierce fight. But Alopex only succeeded in cutting off my tail." He said while gesturing to his stub tail. "Although she escaped, I thought the wounds I've inflicted upon her were far too grave for her to survive. I was wrong." He said while still looking out to the city.
"Dang, talk about Bad Blood." Bebop exclaimed.
"Alopex thought I'd destroyed her life. She must've spent years searching for me." Tigerclaw said to them.
"Well now she's back and ready to finish the job." Rahzar said to him.
"Which is why I must end this tonight," Tigerclaw said, pulling out his Machete.
Koya then held his shoulder, "Not without us, Mate," She told her partner.
"This is my fight. My fate." Tigerclaw said to her.
"You were barely able to keep Alopex back even with a jetpack and your blasters. You need help if you wanna keep that predator down." Koya said firmly to him.
"Si, Amigo." Fishface said in agreement. "I mean, with her speed, you were lucky to not lose more than your tail."
"Da, Foxy girl no matches for all the seven of us's," Rocksteady said, pounding a hand on his chest.
"With your knowledge and our skills together, we'll put that little vixen down hard," Rahzar said with his claws up.
"I do enjoy a speed challenge and I already have her on radar." Newtralizer rumbled while readying his gear.
"She wouldn't be no match for the B, yo! He-he!" Bebop called with a dance.
"So let us help you end this sibling grudge once and for all, mate." Koya said while placing a hand on Tigerclaw's shoulder. "No hunter can manage alone."
Tigerclaw looked at the Foot warriors in surprise before he gave a grateful smile. "Then let us prepare, for there will be no need to seek Alopex out when she will come to us." He said as they nodded.
On the road, the Shellraiser drove down the street with the Hamato Teens and Amaya inside while Donnie checked the scanners. "Alopex should be just up ahead." Donnie informed Leo, but then a truck crashed into them as they spun in the air as they landed back on the wheels as the driver exited and rushed up to them.
"Hey!" The driver called while knocking on the door. "Are you alright in there?" He asked in concern as Mikey opened up.
"It's all good, bro! We're cool!" Mikey assured before the doors shut and they took off while the driver looked in shock as he looked at his drink and tossed it away.
"You're gonna get us all killed!" Raph yelled at Casey. "You should've stayed home, Casey! Or should I wall you Cursey!"
"Dude, I gotta be the one to destroy the blades to lift the curse! So back off me, bra!" Casey snapped.
"Casey, so far your curse has not only almost gotten you killed but also put our existence at risk," Jenny stated. "So far, we're lucky that driver thinks he needs to lay off the energy drinks. So we need to be extra careful."
"So let's focus on the important question: where is Alopex?" Amaya questioned firmly.
"She's still at her location." Donnie said after checking his scanner.
On a water tower, Alopex was looking out through the city with her binoculars. "Where are you, Takashi? You are close. I can feel it." She said to herself before she had a vision of Tigerclaw sharpening his blade as she gave a determined look before she rushed off with her speed, but her path was blocked by the Hamato Teens.
"Alopex, we need to talk," Amaya told the fox girl firmly.
Alopex gave a stern look, "Forgive Mistress, but I will not let this opportunity slip through my fingers." She said as she drew the blades.
"Look, Alopex, trust me when I tell you, we don't want to hurt you." Jenny said firmly as she ready her claws.
"Believe me, you won't." Alopex said as she charged at Jenny, but Jenny activated her mystic powers and charged at Alopex, the two speedsters ran around the alley clashing blades while the others watched.
"Whoa! Jenny is really giving Alopex a challenge." Ames commented.
"Amazing." Amaya said in awe. "There hasn't been another soul that could match Alopex's speed."
"Yeah. It's cool." Casey called as he barely managed to avoid the swipes from the weapons of the two speedsters. "But they should really watch where they're going!" He called as he kept avoiding them.
Eventually Jennika finally managed to surprise Alopex by grabbing her from behind and making her drop the blades, "Let go!" Alopex ordered.
"Not until we start getting some answers!" Jenny stated, keeping a firm grip on Alopex's arms. "Now tell us what's going on. Why did you steal the blades? And what are you searching all over New York for?"
Seeing how she has no choice, Alopex confessed, "I'm on a mission, the one mutant who ruined my life, Tigerclaw, my brother!" She revealed.
The others, san Amaya, gasped in shock. "Oh, snap!" Casey exclaimed.
"Brother?" Keno asked in shock.
"You and that overgrown tabby are related?" Caitlyn asked in shock
"Wait, Takashi is here?" Amaya asked in surprise.
"It's his fault we were mutated! And then he turned us to a life of crime!" Alopex yelled as she then gave a solemn face. "He made me do… terrible things to people." She said sadly while looking away.
Amaya looked at her adopted daughter in sympathy, "Alopex, believe me I know what you are feeling but revenge will not end the pain Takashi put you through, it will only intensify it," she said.
Alopex looked at Amaya for a moment before she quickly stepped on Jenny's foot, causing her to let go and scream in pain as she clutched her foot as she quickly picked up the blades and jumped on top of the Shellraiser. "I want my brother to feel that pain! With these blades, I'll take more than his tail!" She called.
"Alopex, you don't understand," Olly said trying to reason with her, "If you go after Tigerclaw, it's not just him, you'll have to face Fishface, Rahzar, Koya, Bebop, Rocksteady and Newtralizer!"
"Those are six of the toughest mutants in New York!" Mikey added.
"And the other is a dangerous alien bounty hunter!" Tal pointed out.
"There's no way you can take them," Miwa stated.
"I've face many in my time before my Mistress found me. These lowly thugs are no match for me." Alopex said stubbornly. "Now I must have my revenge against my brother for what he did to my family!" She called as she rushed off.
"Stop, Alopex!" Amaya called before she sighed tiredly.
"Deep yo!" Casey said before Donnie's blade from his staff popped up next to him, causing the two to yell as Donnie fiddled with his staff before catching it. "This curse is the worst!" He yelled in anger.
"My bad." Donnie said sheepishly.
Leo then rushed up to the Shellraiser and opened it. "Come on, guys! Every second we waste, Casey could end up street pizza!" He stated as they all piled up in the Shellraiser.
Mikey then cheered. "One of my favorite kinds of Pizza!" He cheered as they all piled on.
Somewhere near a park, the Foot Warriors are in position as they waited for Alopex as Bebop used his goggles and scanned the roofs as he saw her running by. "Here she comes, Catman dude. Get ready to pounce." He informed.
Tigerclaw had his machete in his lap as he sat on a meditative stance as Alopex sped up in front of Tigerclaw. "Takashi." She said with the cursed blades ready.
"Sister." Tigerclaw said without looking. "Before you attack, let us talk."
"No Takashi, the twin blades work. A worthy curse for a monster such as you." Alopex said as she charged at Tigerclaw, but he got up and blocked the blades with his sword.
"I know how you fight, Alopex! I taught you how! Remember?!" Tigerclaw called as he blocked his sister's blades.
"I know the truth about our parents! You cut them down in cold blood! You took everyone away from me!" Alopex called as she charged at him but Koya grabbed her and threw her to Rahzar who pounced her onto the Rooftop below them.
"Not fast enough, sweetheart." Rahzar growled as he tossed Alopex to a wall, which she grunted as she landed on her feet. "You should know that if you mess with one of us…"
"You mess with all of us!" Rocksteady yelled as he appeared and charged at Alopex with his horn, but she flipped over as Koya flew in at her, but she barely dodged her as Koya crashed into Rocksteady.
Bebop called out as he moved his hips and blasted laser at Alopex, who barely dodged as she landed on Fishface and tossed him back a bit as she looked around and saw the Foot Warriors surrounding her with their weapons and in ready stances.
"Welcome, chika. To the fight of your life." Fishface said with a smirk.
"Remember, he said not to kill her." Newtralizer said to them.
"Trust me, you won't." Alopex said as she held up the blades as the Foot Warriors circled her, "So believe me when I say, you don't want this," She warned.
"We definitely want to." Rocksteady said as they charged at Alopex, who was doing her best to fight the Foot Warriors as she used her speed to avoid their strikes, but she barely had time to react to avoid them attacking her from all angles and was steadily being overwhelmed.
When she landed on the ground, Fishface got behind her and bit her on the shoulder, which caused Alopex to scream in pain and drop the blades. When Fishface let go, Alopex felt dizzy and fell to the ground as the Foot Warriors then started kicking her and Rocksteady delivered a hard punch, knocking her back. And then Newtralizer sends an electric shock that made Alopex scream in agony as she laid there.
Alopex tried to crawl away, but Tigerclaw stepped on her hand, causing her to yell in pain as Alopex looked up at her brother glaring down at her. "Takashi…" She moaned weakly.
"Sister, all I ever tried to do was protect you from a world that would never accept us, and what happened to our parents was a terrible accident I wish I could take back," Tigerclaw told his sister as he kneeled down and held her to his level, "Should you choose to surrender and swear your loyalty to me again, I shall spare you,"
"I-I rather… be with the Kraang t-than be loyal to you again…" Alopex moaned with a weak glare.
Tigerclaw then closed his eyes and sighed, "So be it," he said as he picked up the Blades of Vengeance, "I shall put you out of your misery."
"Hold on, Mate," Koya said walking up to Tigerclaw, "I think you should pay this Sheila back for taking your tail, by returning the favor," She said, eyeing Alopex's tail.
Tigerclaw hummed for a moment before eyeing his sister's tail. "Seems fitting. A perfect payment for my tail. And I will use hers as a trophy as she did mine." He said.
"Then let's give that big fluff a real demonstration of pain." Rahzar said as he held Alopex's tail and straightened it out, which caused Alopex to grunt in pain.
"Now this might get messy." Fishface said with a smirk as Koya held Alopex while Tigerclaw got behind her.
"Takashi… please…" Alopex moaned in pain as Tigerclaw ready the blade over where her tail met the end of her spine.
"Eye for an eye, dear sister." Tigerclaw said as he raised the blade high, but before he could bring it down, a throwing star hit the blade, knocking it out of his hand. "What?!"
"Back off, Tony!" Raph yelled as the Hamato Teens were above another roof.
"Now, let her go!" Amaya ordered as she lashed a chained Kunai at Koya's hand causing her to screech and drop Alopex as the woman jumped, kicked the mutants away and grabbed her daughter before rejoining the Hamato Teens.
"Get them!" Tigerclaw yelled as the Foot Warriors and Hamato Teens started fighting as Casey quickly grabbed the blades from the ground.
"Alopex! Dear! Speak to me!" Amaya cried while holding Alopex in her arms as the fox mutant opened her eyes weakly.
"Mistress?" Alopex moaned.
"I'm here! Just go easy. I'm here." Amaya said as the Hamato Teens kept fighting the Foot Warriors while Casey tried to destroy the blades.
"How do I smash these things?!" Casey called as he smashed the blades into a wall.
"You need some help, Jones?!" Keno called as he kicked Fishface back.
"Yeah! These blades are tough! How do I break them?!" Casey called as he slammed harder, nearly getting stabbed by a spike from the wall. "Whoa!"
"How's Alopex?" Olly asked Amaya as he blocked lasers from Newtralizer.
"She's weak, hurt, and I think she's poisoned!" Amaya called in worry as she saw Alopex giving swirly eyes.
"Uh, is that you mother?" Alopex said dizzily. "I missed you." She moaned with a smile.
"Oh, great! Fishface must've bit her!" Donnie called as he used his Technomancy to make blasters, which Rahzar and Bebop avoided. "I knew I should've brought my chemicals with me!"
"Don't worry I got the next best thing," Tal said as she activated her Hamato Ninpō and used her Healing Hands on Alopex. Alopex glowed for a moment before she started coughing, which she opened her eyes as she looked around and saw the fight.
"Huh, what happened?" Alopex asked in confusion. "Why don't I feel the pain?"
"You're welcome." Tal said with a smile before avoiding blaster shots. "Holy cow!" She called as she saw the Newtralizer coming towards her. "We'll talk later." She said as she fought Newtralizer.
Olly then helped Alopex to her feet, "I thank you," Alopex said gratefully.
"What are friends for?" Olly said with a smile, which surprised Alopex that they consider her a friend after what she did to them. "Now, listen, after what happened to you, you have to let go of that vengeful rage. Because it will only lead to more pain. Come back to the island with us, we can help bring your brother to justice, the right way."
Alopex looked conflicted before Amaya put a hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry, we can trust them," She assured as Alopex gave her a small smile and nodded before they avoided blaster shots.
"Now you will all be destructions!" Rocksteady called as he fired his cannon at them.
"I'll handle the laser!" Alopex called as she sped at Rocksteady and threw a dagger on his horn and knocked him down.
The others are still fighting the Foot Warriors as Casey still tries to break the blades before Tigerclaw flew past and snatched one, "Hey!" Casey yelled and chased after him, "Give me that sword! Get back here!" He yelled before he was knocked down and dropped the second blade.
"You can't touch what you can't see." Bebop said as he appeared from his invisibility before Mikey and Ames started fighting him, but he turned invisible again and started fighting them.'
Tigerclaw and Alopex are fighting each other as Tigerclaw blocked his sister's blades as he quickly drew his ice gun, but it vanished by a blur. "I'll take that!" Jenny said with a smirk as she aimed the ice gun at Tigerclaw, who used the blade to block it as the steel froze up before Alopex knocked it out of his hands.
The blade flew in the air before it crashed into the wall, shattering it to pieces, "Whoa!" Casey said in surprise.
"That's one!" Robyn called before Casey look ahead and saw the remaining blade, which was in the middle of the battle with flying weapons and lasers.
"Casey no!" Keno called, knowing what his friend was thinking, "That's the worst place for someone with a Bad Luck Curse."
"Well, I'm gonna beat the curse!" Casey stubbornly yelled as he got up and ran off to the blade with a scream.
"Casey!" Keno yelled as he turned to the others. "Guys! Shield Casey! NOW!" He exclaimed as the others saw Casey running through the battle to the blade.
"On it!" Olly called as the others then used their powers or used themselves as living shields to protect Casey from the crossfire while also keeping projectiles away from him as an explosion appeared behind Casey, causing him to go flying as he flung to the floor and grabbed the blade with a yell.
"I got it!" Casey cheered as he raised the blade as Jenny used the ice gun to freeze it. "Goongala!" He cheered as he smashed the blade to pieces on the ground. "Yes! I did it!" He cheered as Naomi came over to him.
"Your Aura is perfectly stable Casey, the curse has been removed," Naomi said with a smile.
"Check me out, yo! Casey Jones is cursed no more! What what!" Casey cheered in joy that he was free from the curse.
Meanwhile, The others had managed to keep Newtralizer and the others down while Tigerclaw and Alopex were still fighting. Alopex ran across the wall, avoiding Tigerclaw's ice bullets before she skillfully caught one and sent it back at her brother, freezing his arm.
Alopex then charged at Tigerclaw and pinned him to the ground where she used her Twin Kama around Tigerclaw's neck, which he growled as everyone watched them as Alopex looked conflicted on what to do.
"Alopex." Amaya said as Alopex turned to her. "You do this, the path back from it will be long and hard." She said softly to her.
Alopex gave a thought for a moment before she closed her eyes. "You're the only blood family I have left, Takashi. Walk away from your wicked path, or next time, there is no mercy." She said as she got off of Tigerclaw as she and Amaya walked to where the Hamato Teens were. "You've been warned."
Tigerclaw narrowed his eyes and reached for his blaster but Koya stopped him, "Take it from Master Shredder, striking your prey from behind can cost ya." She advised, which made Tigerclaw remember when Shredder lost his arm. Realizing Koya was right, he moved away from his blaster as he stood up.
"Bradford, Xever, Zeck, Steranko, K'Vathrak, we are leaving," Tigerclaw ordered.
The Foot Warriors were surprised, but they nodded in understanding as they all walked away from the Hamato Teens before giving them a glare as the heroes watched them go. "Looks like they truly have honored father's order." Vee said with her arms crossed.
"Yeah, but for how long?" Raph questioned with a brow. "Because something tells me that they'll be back."
"If they do, we'll be ready for them." Leo said with determination.
"Come on team, let's go home," Olly said before turning to Amaya and Alopex with a smile, "All of us," He said.
Amaya nodded, "Thank you, but first we should let the rest of our family know where we are going," She said while holding Alopex close.
"That's understandable." Tal said as she took out some spare bracelets. "Here." She said, tossing a few to them as they caught it. "When it's time to go, use these bracelets. There, you can move in to your new home on Turtle Island."
"Turtle Island?" Alopex asked in surprise. "But, won't I feel a bit out of place?" She asked in concern.
Amaya giggled as she placed a kiss on Alopex's forehead. "Trust me, dear. You won't be. It's a perfect place to start fresh. And you don't have to hide yourself there." She assured.
"She's right." Ames said with a smile. "We've got tons of other mutants of all kinds on Turtle Island. And our tribe are kind people. They'll love you guys there."
Alopex smiled in joy, finally truly feeling like she belonged somewhere.
With the Foot Warriors at their new mansion, they are with a huge moving truck with their belongings as they unpack. "Well, at least we put up a one last fight in New York." Fishface said optimistically.
"Yeah, but we still got our butts kicked." Rahzar growled in annoyance.
"They haven't seen the last of us." Tigerclaw said with a serious tone. "Once Master is healed, we'll have to keep a tight hold on New York with our allies there. And Keep a low profile when entering the city, lest we lure the Reptiles to our fortress."
"Sounds good to me, yo." Bebop said with a smile. "I am not skipping town because of their words. But at least we had fun tonight."
Newtralizer was looking at his scanner as he had a complex look. "Something's not right." He muttered as he double checked his scanner.
"What's up, mate?" Koya asked.
"My scanner has just detected some alien technology in New York has become active," Newtralizer explained as he tried to identify the signal.
"Is it Kraang?" Rocksteady questioned with a confused look. "Didn't Turtle freaks send squishy aliens back tos the Dimension X?"
"I know Kraang technology, and this isn't one of them, in fact it looks more like…" Newtralizer trailed off while his scanner then identified the tech he picked up, but what he saw made his eyes widened. "No. No! They are here! But how did they find this Mudball?!" He questioned in horror.
The Foot Warriors were confused and surprised by Newtralizer's expression. "Eh, what are you talking about, amigo?" Fishface asked in confusion.
"Who is they?" Rahzar questioned.
"Only the most feared and powerful race in the Ten dimensions," Newtralizer revealed with a dreaded look.
"Wait, more feared than the Kraang?" Tigerclaw questioned in surprise. "Who are they?"
"They call themselves…" Newtralizer revealed the name of this race he feared.
Meanwhile, in an unknown part of the city, an alien looking sleeper cell, that did look like Kraang technology activated.
It released some steam and opened up before a large scaled and clawed hand gripped the side as a large figure, with two horns and a triceratops-like frill on its head, wobbly stepped out of the chamber before slamming it's hand down. "Mutaters!" He roared loudly as he charged out of the room, whatever this creature was, it was out for war.
Yup, this more or less a chapter replacement, where Alopex makes an early appearance since I felt she deserved more screen time and development.
Also she taken up by Tang Amaya, Tang Shen's twin sister, and they join the turtles.
I also wanted to add some closer relationship between the Foot Warrior, especially Tigerclaw and Koya, which saved the former from losing an arm.
Next time though, the Turtles will be facing a new kind of an enemy. stay tuned.
