It's been two years since Lucy's disappearance and all of the searching has still yet to give them a clue as to what could have happened to her.

Lucy had encouraged Natsu to spend more time with Lisanna since they hadn't had a chance to catch up. Only a few members of the guild knew the other reason why she encouraged them to hang out more. He had conflicted feelings and Lucy knew one of the ways to help sort them out was to have him spend time with the other woman. He eventually made his choice and waited impatiently in her apartment for her to get back from the mission with Laxus and the Thunder Legion. However, instead of a happy Natsu returning to the guild, a gloomy one entered the building.

*Flashback*

"Didn't you tell her Natsu?" Levy looks at him quizzically wondering what has him so glum. She knows Lucy feels the same way about Natsu, so what happened?

Natsu looks down at the floor, "She found out what Lisanna and I did and thought that it meant I chose Lisanna. When I told her that I didn't choose Lisanna, she kicked me out, saying we'll talk later."

"Wait, what did you and Lisanna do?" Erza asks. She would be questioning Lisanna too, but she went out on a mission with Kinana.

Evergreen speaks up, "I overheard Lisanna talking with a few guild members about her and Natsu being intimate. I may have assumed Natsu's decision and brought it up to Lucy on our way back from the mission. I'm sorry Natsu."

Natsu plopped down on the bench and sighed, "Don't worry about it, you didn't know."

"What happened?" Levy asks.

*Flashback within the flashback to Lucy coming home*

"Hey Luce! Welcome home!" Natsu chuckles when she jumps at the sound of his voice. Boy has he missed her. He gives her a big smile and tries his best to hide his nervousness.

"Oh, uh hey Natsu," Lucy replies without looking at him.

He's surprised when she doesn't yell at him like she normally would for breaking in. "Hey, what's wrong?"

Lucy avoids him as she unpacks, "Nothing, don't worry about it."

Natsu swallows hard, "Well, uh I wanted to let you know that I made my choice."

She stops what she's doing and remains having her back to him, "I know."

Natsu looked at her confused, he had only recently decided who and it was while she was away. He hasn't even told Lisanna yet, even though he should have, but she's been out on a mission. "How... How did you know?"

"Someone already told me." Lucy has a strong grip on the shirt she's holding onto, trying to keep her composure.

He sees her visibly shaking and can smell the tears that are coming, "How-"

"That doesn't matter," Lucy tries to hold back the tears, "You choose Lisanna."

Natsu grabs her shoulder, "What? No-"

Lucy whirls around on him, tears streaking down her face, "No? Then tell me why you two were intimate Natsu?"

"Uhhh... Well... It just kind of happened."

Lucy scoffs, "It just kind of happened he says." She doesn't want to ask but, "How many times?"

"Huh?"

"How many times did you two have sex?"

"Well, um since the first mission we went on." Natsu doesn't know what to say. He couldn't tell her that when they made it back to Magnolia, he snuck into her apartment to get her special soap to cover scents so no one would know. He unintentionally speaks his thoughts, "Having sex with Lisanna felt good, really good, so we continued."

Lucy bursts into tears and slaps Natsu's hands away when he tries to wipe them away. "Don't. If having sex with Lisanna felt so good then why did you choose me?"

"Because you're my partner, we work well together on missions, and it's not the same without you."

"So all I'm good for is being your partner on missions."

"No, Luce that's not what I'm saying."

"Sure sounds like it."

Natsu being the idiot he is blurts out, "Maybe we can, you know…"

Lucy gasps then slaps Natsu across the cheek, "How dare you!"

"What?" Natsu rubs his cheek, that really hurts. "It's not that big of a deal, Laxus used to have sex with different women all the time."

"BAKA! He wasn't looking for a relationship with any of them!"

"And I'm not looking for a relationship with Lisanna!"

Lucy sighs, "Natsu, you're not the type of guy to have sex with a woman just for the sake of it. If it continued between you and Lisanna then you must have felt some sort of connection."

Natsu looks down at the ground thinking about what she said. She's not exactly wrong, he does feel something when he's with Lisanna. He didn't feel it until he had sex with Lisanna. Would he feel it too with Lucy? He should have told Lisanna no because all it really did was make everything more confusing for him.

Lucy breaks him out of his thoughts, "I can't do this right now. Can you please go? We'll talk more about this later."

"Luce, I-"

"Natsu! I asked you to please go. Can't you for once listen to me? I just can't... not right now..."

Natsu's heart breaks at the sight of her tear-streaked face. Angry and sad at the same time. He wants to continue the conversation to make it better but he sees her leg twitching signifying that she's about to lose her patience and strike out at him. "Okay, Luce. I'll go, but we will talk about this later." The last thing he sees is her dropping to the floor crying. He slowly makes his way to the guild. What does he do now? He's not so confident in his decision anymore.

*Flashback within the flashback ends*

Mira, having heard the end of it says in a motherly tone, "Give her time to calm down and then talk to her again."

Erza adds, "Think long and hard about your decision Natsu, and while you do so, spend less time with Lisanna."

*Flashback ends*

Lisanna walked in after hearing that and asked what was going on and was bombarded by the women. She looked at Natsu for help but before he could say anything, he received a punch in the face by Gray. He didn't bother fighting back, he knew he deserved it, he made Lucy cry.

She explained that they were able to hide it for a long time because they never gave the soap back. They wanted to continue without the dragon slayers knowing. If Gajeel noticed then he would tell Levy ("Damn straight.") who would then tell Lucy. ("Of course, I would.")

They didn't want Wendy to have to smell it because she smells stuff like that enough as it is because of other guild members. They also weren't sure who she would approach first about it. ("If I'm being honest Lisanna, I would have gone to Lucy.")

Then there was Laxus. Whatever had happened on the 100-Year-Quest had brought the two closer together and the next thing everyone knew he adopted Lucy as his little sister. He could be just as bad, if not worse when someone made Lucy cry. ("Fucking asshole." Laxus glared at Natsu from the balcony and left the pink, his bad, salmon-haired man a twitching mess on the floor.)

Laxus asked Levy to check up on Lucy. The other girls wanted to go as well but Lucy wouldn't respond well to being bombarded. Erza wanted to go but she knew she would be needed to remain at the guild when Natsu woke up. He could be impulsive and didn't want to take the chance of him growing impatient and running to Lucy when she wouldn't be ready to talk to him yet. Cana, however, told Laxus that she was going with Levy and there was nothing he could do to stop her. Sensing her anger, he didn't stop her from leaving with Levy.

Cana needed to leave. Throughout the whole conversation, she remained quiet lest she say something that she would regret later on. She was very disappointed in Lisanna (and Natsu too). She liked the girl; they grew up together and they're nakama. She knows Lisanna's been in love with Natsu for a long time. However, Lucy was also in love with Natsu and could only imagine how her friend was feeling at the moment. She had confided in her and Levy about Natsu being confused about his feelings between Lisanna and herself. Lucy encouraged Natsu to spend more time with Lisanna so they could catch up. She didn't want to be in a relationship only to find out that it was Lisanna he liked more and leave her. It would break her heart.

To find out that the time Natsu and Lisanna spent together was them having sex, repeatedly, to then turn around and choose Lucy upsets Cana. Call her biased but she took Lucy's side on this. Since the S-Class exams years ago they grew close and she loves Lucy more than a guildmate, she loves her like a sister. She's never been as close with anyone as much as she is with Lucy.

When Natsu came to, he focused on using his enhanced hearing to keep an ear on her. When he heard Lucy crying and hiccupping, he wanted to give her a big hug. It took everything in him to not run back to beg and grovel to accept his apology. That he went about everything the wrong way. But for once, he respected her wishes and left her alone.

Then he heard something that made his blood run cold. He ran out of the guild, yelling in a panic, pushing those trying to stop him out of the way, and ran as fast as he could to Lucy's apartment. On the way, Levy and Cana were running towards the guild. Natsu let them know that he heard and that he was going to check it out to see if he could catch a scent that might give him a clue. The scent wasn't recognizable to him or the other dragon slayers.

If there was a way, Loke would have made his way to the guild to let them know what had happened and since he didn't, they contacted Yukino and asked if her spirits could contact Lucy's. It was a good idea, but it didn't work. Not even Stache Face could locate them which meant she had to be in another world. They thought maybe Edolas but they had zero information to go on. If only they had a way to contact Rebecca and Shiki that would be super helpful.

They even asked Sting and Rogue to come to Magnolia in hopes they may recognize the scent in Lucy's apartment, but no luck.

They called for help from the other guilds, but it was difficult for them to lend a hand when all they knew was that someone had got into her apartment and taken her. No sign of a break-in, no witness to get a description of the one who took her and there was a scent but that led to nowhere. Someone teleported into her apartment and then teleported out and where they went was unknown.

They went to further lengths and contacted Queen Hisui, she would want to know what happened to her good friend. She said she would have ears and eyes out for her and would notify them should she hear of anything. Queen Hisui took the liberty of contacting Emperor Ajeel and asked him to keep an ear and eye out in Alakitasia for any information that may give them a clue. That gave Laxus the idea to reach out to someone he met on the 100-Year-Quest. The two may have a rivalry but the man likes Fairy Tail.

Two long years of searching and nothing to show for it. Guild members have slowly been coming to terms with the fact that Lucy may very well be either stuck in another world or dead and have been moving on. Some have not given up searching but have also been moving on, starting families, and living their lives just like Lucy would have wanted them to do.

Mira sighs and looks around the guild. She is one of the few who still hasn't given up hope. If her sister can be sent to another world and be brought back two years later, then why can't Lucy? Speaking of her sister, a few months after Lucy disappeared, Lisanna found out she was pregnant. It was happy news that couldn't have come at a worse time.

It wasn't the way that Lisanna wanted it to happen. Yes, she's always wanted to be with Natsu and start a family with him, but not this way, and not after finding out that Natsu had originally chosen Lucy. She had a heart-to-heart with Natsu and learned that he does love her but to give him time because he also loves Lucy and he just lost his best friend.

Natsu has done his best to balance being a boyfriend and father as well as taking time to search for Lucy. Even after all of these years, he hasn't given up, he can't. It's like a part of his heart was taken from him. He is currently looking at the request board searching for yet another job.

As Natsu stands there contemplating what request to take, he smells an all too familiar scent. Normally he forgets different scents he's come across, the exception being Acnologia and a disguised Ultear and just like those two, he will never forget this scent. He lets out a growl, stomps over to the guild doors, and grabs the scrawny man by the collar of his shirt letting out a guttural growl, "Who the hell are you?"

The man yelps and tosses the package into the air and thankfully it lands far enough away from the fire dragon slayer and doesn't catch on fire. "I'm... I'm..."

"Natsu!" Mira yells, hurriedly heading in their direction. "He's the mailman!"

Natsu is no longer covered in flames, but he still gets in the man's face, "Why do you smell like that bastard?"

"Wh-What?"

Laxus storms out of his office, he smelt the scent too. He takes in the scene down below and sees that he and Natsu aren't the only dragon slayers whose hackles have risen. He then notices a package lying on the floor away from all of the commotion. He zaps down and picks it up giving it a sniff. "It's coming from this." He turns his head to the mailman still in Natsu's grasp. "Who gave this to you?" He inspects it to make sure there's no dangerous magic before opening it.

Gajeel stomps over to Natsu, "Calm down and let him go. The man is just doing his job."

Erza makes her way forward, "I too would like to know who gave him this package Natsu, but scaring him won't get your answers any faster."

Natsu lets go and takes a step back, crossing his arms.

The mailman tries his best to not cower, he knows Natsu isn't a bad guy, but he's never seen the dragon slayer so on edge, ready to rip someone's throat out. "No-No one saw who brought it in, it was like it just appeared out of nowhere."

Mira walks the mailman out, "I'm sorry about them. You know how well a dragon slayer's sense of smell is."

The man visibly calms down as he's escorted out of the guild. "Yeah, Wendy helped me find my Grandma when she got lost." He jumps when he hears a loud thunderclap.

"Well, the package smells like the man who has something to do with Lucy's disappearance."

The man's eyes widen, "Hopefully it's a clue."

Mira gives the man a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. "Hopefully. Can you ask everyone at the post office to be extra vigilant and keep an eye out for any suspicious people and let us know right away should another package magically appear?"

"Yes, I can do that. I'll call so the dragon slayers can check out the office and see if they can discover anything new with their noses."

"Even better. Be prepared, they might just do that soon."

"Okay." The man jumps when there's another thunderclap. It's a nice day so he knows it's Laxus the lightning dragon slayer making all that noise. Despite knowing that, he's still jumpy from the unexpected sound and the fact that the man is in a pissy mood, for good reason.

When Mira walks back into the guild she's met with the sight of Laxus with his LacrimaVision and lacrima movie player in his hands yelling at people to help him set it up. She wonders how he managed to transport it here without frying it. She brushes that thought off, there are more important matters at hand. At the bar, there's an open box. She peers inside only to see that it's empty. "What was in here?"

"The bastard sent us a lacrima disc." Laxus pulls something out of his pocket and tosses it to her.

Mira easily catches it and looks it over, "Do you think..."

"There's only one way to find out," Cana says.

Wendy speaks up, "Should we even watch it? I mean there could be something really horrible on there."

Natsu's hands are fisted at his sides, "I don't care what is on there. If it has to do with Luce then I need to know."

This time Bisca speaks up, "Just in case, Al and I are going to leave with Asuka. If anyone else would like for us to take your kids elsewhere we can do that."

"But we'll miss everything," Asuka pouts.

"It's okay sweetie," Alzack soothes her, "they'll fill us in."

The parents start gathering up their strangely quiet children. They may be young but they can sense something is wrong and it would be in their best interest to not act up.

Levy is the first to pass her children to them, "Thank you so much."

"Yeah," Lisanna says with hers and Natsu's son in her arms, "this is very much appreciated." The past two years have been hard for her. She was patient just like Natsu asked and gave him time. He's still been taking missions to search for Lucy and find clues, but not as often. He's recently begun to focus more on supporting his family. Things between them have been good, however, she is now scared of how this will affect their relationship.

Bisca, Alzack, Reedus, and a few others leave the guild with the children to take them to the park, get some ice cream, and do anything else to keep them occupied.

Everything is all set up and everyone has taken a seat. When Mira sees that Laxus has a tight hold on the remote, hand shaking, she gently pries it away from him before he crushes it to bits and pieces.

Laxus gives her a little smile, "Thanks." He's excited to finally have news but scared as all hell about what could be on that disc.

Mira nods her head and squeezes his hand before she hits play.

It's dark and the lighting is dim. The man in front of the camera is nothing but a silhouette. There's not much to go on by his appearance other than long spiky hair going in every direction. They always assumed it was a man and their assumptions are proven correct when he speaks.

"Hello Fairy Tail. I bet you're wondering who I am but unfortunately for you, you will never be able to figure it out. However, I will tell you that you've taken me down before." He laughs, "Yeah, that doesn't tell you a lot since you've taken so many people down. I could be anyone from any country. It's like searching for a needle in a haystack. Just like trying to find your dear Lucy. The search hasn't been going very well has it? After all, it's been two years now."

The mysterious man cackles, "How do I know? Well, I've been keeping an eye on both you and Lucy. More so Lucy. Oh, the hell she has gone through to survive. I'm impressed she's still alive. Yes, you heard right, she's still alive. The life she's had to live isn't for the faint of heart. She's seen horrific crimes against women and children, she's killed a perpetrator for committing such a crime. Should you happen to find her she won't be the same person you remember.

I'm very well aware the videos I will be sending you will give you information to find her but by the time you do your precious member will be broken. So broken that it's going to crush you, especially Natsu, the fire dragon slayer. The one who hurt her and wasn't able to set things right. I bet that alone crushes you." The man laughs some more, "Oh, what I wouldn't give to see the looks on your faces right now but alas I'm back to recording Lucy's new life. At the moment it seems as though she's falling in love with someone else. I best be going. Enjoy! HAHAHA!"

The screen goes black and when a new scene starts, Mira pauses it. A lot of faces in the guild are a mixture of anger and sadness, some a combination of both.

"Does everyone still want to watch this?"

Gray grits out through his teeth, "Yes, I need to know."

"Same here," Levy agrees. "Not only will we get more information on where she's at, but we also need to know everything she's been through so when we finally get her back we'll have a good idea on how to help her."

Cobra hears in Jellal's and Macbeth's souls the same thing he's thinking about, "She's going to need help learning how to live with what she's done from those who have also killed."

Midnight nods, "We'll help with that."

Jellal grabs Erza's hands, "That action alone really changes a person. I know Fairies don't kill, so she's going to need you guys to not pass judgment on her."

Gajeel speaks up in his gruff tone, "I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't kill those kinds of men."

"Same here." Bickslow agrees.

Everyone talks about what they can do to help Lucy if what the guy said is true. Mira looks at Natsu and what she sees breaks her heart. His hands are fisted in his lap, knuckles turning white, bangs covering his eyes, and tears streaming down his face. His whole body is shaking, and you can tell he's trying his hardest to not go on a rampage.

"Natsu, do you still want to watch it?"

Natsu slams a flaming fist on the table he's sitting at and looks up, "I said I would and I'm going to regardless of what I see now press play."

Looking around the guild to double-check that everyone else is ready as well, she walks around the bar to take a seat herself and gets comfortable. She points the remote at the lacrima player, takes in a deep breath, and slowly exhales as she presses play.
