Author's Note: Okay I am finally done with my finals fingers crossed I don't have a mental breakdown over the grades. Now, even though I wrote those chapters like recently, I'm not pleased. Somehow I've made Lu Si Cheng a big bully and Tong Yao a crybaby and I'm realizing that's not true to their characters. This is all imagination so now once again, my third chapter will be written on the same exact scene. Apologies to those of you who are tired of it but, a girl has got to write while she has motivation. Thanks for your support though angels❤️

Part II: I wrote half of this two days after the last upload, but then I DID have a breakdown over my grades. I'll just have to work harder next semester. I also have summer classes right now which I literally have assignments due tomorrow at midnight that I haven't started y'all I am in long-term burn out. Anyways I've actually been playing Onmyoji Arena from the show and oh my gosh it's so fun I love it. I'm like diamond ranked right now and I'm trying to learn how to jungle properly so we'll see how that goes.

Lu Si Cheng POV:

Shorty was taking a long time in the bathroom so I went to go find her. I was walking down the hall, debating with myself if I should pop another one of those orange candies in or not. They were so delicious. Just as I turned the corner, I froze at the sight before me. DQ Five's Jungler had pinned my mid up against the wall. I was about to take a step forward when Tong Yao suddenly bit down on his arm.

"You don't have rabies do you? My mother said I should mind what I eat," Tong Yao said pivoting on her heel.

She only got a few steps away before she paused, realizing I was there.

"Cheng-ge,"

I saw Xu Tailun peek out from behind the corner before taking a step back. I saw the blood dripping from his wrist and looked back to Tong Yao.

"I didn't mean to! He-"

"I saw everything," I cut her off.

"Oh,"

Xu Tailun had silently walked himself away from the scene. It was one thing to mess with Tong Yao when she was alone, but when I'm here just one look would send him away. I looked carefully at Tong Yao's face and saw her lipstick had smeared. I reached out my hand, using my thumb to wipe away the excess.

"Be careful next time," I said, giving her head a pat.

She nodded and I had her walk in front of me as we got back to the stage; However, I could tell she was anxious. I assured her she wasn't going to be punished.

"After all, it was self-defense," I said as we climbed the stairs to the stage.

Our teammates immediately took the chance to start teasing us as Tong Yao's face resembled more of a strawberry by the minute.

"Cut it out guys." I was secretly enjoying the attention though.

The audience gasped as we were setting up and I saw the screen where Xu Tailun's bandaged arm was displayed. I glanced at Tong Yao who was hiding behind her computer, trying to pretend she didn't see.

"Tong Yao,"

"Hm,"

"Look at me." I used my hand to turn her head towards me.

The cameras caught us this time, shifting the attention off the opposing jungler and onto us.

"It'll be okay," I whispered.

"What are you guys doing? Cheng-ge have you replaced me!?" Fatty stared at me with widened eyes.

"She said to ban Tamamo-no-mae because if she can't use it no one else can," I replied. He nodded with understanding.

"Xio jiejie don't worry. Whatever shikigami you use, we'll still beat them." Tong Yao smiled awkwardly.

The match started after the ban/pick section and I advised Tong Yao to stay back and farm as the other team was going to immediately try and gank her. I got Lao K to stay close by as I quickly finished farming and roamed the jungle with him. We hid in the bush as the jungler came to attack Tong Yao. She started fighting back and we jumped in, instantly finishing him off. Cheers rose from the audience and I saw Xu Tailun glare at us. I just gave him a sweet, innocent smile in return. The match went on as we quickly pushed the towers in the mid lane while I kept killing the jungler repeatedly as he hadn't learned his lesson to not mess with our mid. As we reached the inhibitor, I went around and saw his character spawn in. Immediately attacking it, I sent him back to the dead as my team finished off with the final hits. The commentators announced our victory as the Xu Tailun stormed off stage. What a baby.

After bowing on stage, I went to attend the MVP interview. I made sure Tong Yao stuck with the team before separating. Once done, I met them all in the lounge area where we packed up and headed on to the bus where we started discussing the match.

"Smiling that jungler must really not like you," Lao Mao said.

Lao K snickered before replying, "Obviously he wasn't used to being told no. His teammates always do as he says and he's used to making everyone around him follow his lead just because he's Korean."

"I wonder how he got injured though. The break wasn't that long how did he manage to hurt himself," Xiao Rui questioned.

Tong Yao's face went pale like she'd seen a ghost.

"Huh? Xiao jiejie here," Fatty said handing her an open water bottle. "Why are you so nervous? The match is over and we won."

The rest of the team looked at her.

"Tong Yao? You didn't have anything to do with the injury did you?" God Ming raised an eyebrow looking at her.

"Well I-"

"She bit him," I said.

The team gasped.

"What! Tong Yao I thought you knew not to get into anymore fights. How are we going to deal with it if he reveals the truth?" Xiao Rui put his head in his hands.

"Chill out. It was self-defense, I saw it." Xiao Rui raised his head.

"Lu Si Cheng can you be more clear?" God Ming asked.

I nodded my head to Tong Yao and turned back to the window in attempts to catch up on my sleep. Behind me, the chatter slowly rose in volume as Tong Yao described what had happened.

"So I didn't start it; I only ended it," she finished.

"Hm. How should we handle this?" Xiao Rui said.

"No need." I sat up, opening my eyes. The fact that I didn't actually fall asleep is besides the point. "He knows I saw the whole thing. If he tries to say anything I'll tell the truth online. It'll be an our word against his word situation and with his cheating allegations already trending, the public is less likely to support him. He won't take the risk to further ruin his reputation."

"In that case." Lu Yue gave Tong Yao a fist bump.

"Idiots," I muttered under my breath.

"Cheng-ge no wonder you were so bloodthirsty today in game," Xiao Pang glanced at me with widened eyes.

"He's just making sure no one messes with his girlfrien-" I threw a book at Lu Yue. "Hey!"

"Cut it out you two. Tong Yao don't worry, we're just glad you're okay," God Ming said smiling at her.

We got to the base and put our things down. Fatty started ordering food for everyone. He's on a mission to make everyone a glutton like him. We went to our rooms to get washed up before the food came. An hour later, our top and jungler were playing a duo match when the doorbell rang.

"Mao Mao you get it,"

"Lao K you do it,"

"No you,"

"Nope. You can,"

"Stop bickering! I'll do it," Xiao Pang rushed to the door, excited his stomach can be full again.

Xiao Rui helped Fatty set the table as everyone started trickling into the kitchen. Just when everything was set Lao Mao and Lao K yelled in response to their victory. God Ming beckoned them over as they high-fived and walked over together. We ate in silence and had just finished up when our phones buzzed. I picked it up to see a notice from D.Q. Five.

"In regards to our player, Xu Tailun, who was injured today. It has been confirmed there was no foul play and he just slipped outside the bathroom during break. We ask that the online community refrain from spreading rumors and instead pray for the quick recovery of the member of D.Q. Five. Thank you all for the love and support and we ask that you keep cheering for us on the big stage."

Tong Yao let out a sigh as the other grinned at each other.

"My brother is always right," Lu Yue said proudly. I should throw my slipper at him.

"Of course! Wherever he goes everyone cowers in fear," Xiao Rui paused as I glared at him. "I mean respects him. Yes, Brother Cheng is very respected by everyone." Xiao Rui pushed his glasses us as the rest snickered.

"Let's play a ranked match?" Lao Mao asked.

"Let's go!" Tong Yao immediately stood up.

She looked at me with her big doe eyes and I nodded as I stood to join them.

"Wait!" Xiao Rui yelled.

We all froze in our steps as he adjusted his glasses standing up.

"What is it?" God Ming asked.

"Xu Tailun isn't the only one trending." The manager turned his phone to show a picture of Tong Yao and I on stage when I was holding her head to face me.

"Why is the on the front page!" Tong Yao took the phone and started scrolling.

The rest of the team surrounded her as I stood still, arms crossed.

"Does this mean mom can stop setting up blind dates?" Lu Yue asked.

I didn't even need to throw a slipper since this time Tong Yao smacked his head.

"Ouch!" Lu Yue jumped back. "You two are really meant to be," he muttered, rubbing his head.

The End.

My brain isn't working no more so this short chapter will just have to do. This would've been if the scene literally wasn't a big issue, but yeah. So I do need some opinions though because I have some ideas as now I don't feel like writing more for this specific scene. I lowkey wanna write a full blown out story on these characters and I have a great idea, but it isn't one-shot length so I'd have to separate it and write the whole thing. Now, I don't know how big this fandom is on here so I'm thinking do I do some cross-posting but this is the only site I've written on. Most likely, I'll just stick here but I don't want to start a story I won't finish. My Divergent one should be nearing the end because we definitely are somewhere at the climax so hopefully I can finish that at least this year. Oh my, I'm rambling anyways please let me know opinions/suggestions/etc. I'm sleepy now so bye.
