I'm back with a new chapter! I hope you all like it!

The vision slowly disappeared and Jasmine's eyes returned to normal. Mario walked closer to Jasmine, noticing the tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Jasmine? Are you alright?" He asked. Jasmine sniffled and wiped her tears away.

"I-I'm fine, Mario. That vision was beautiful." Jasmine replied.

"It was?" Daisy asked.

Jasmine nodded. "Ludwig and I were married and had a son."

"That vision can be a reality someday. I hope you finally see why this is right." Ludwig said as he walked closer to Jasmine. He took her hands and smiled softly.

"I..." Jasmine hesitated.

"Just think about it. You and I, together as emperor and empress!" Ludwig smiled.

"Jasmine, no!" Luigi yelled.

"Don't listen to him, Jas! You know this isn't right!" Daisy added.

Jasmine stayed silent. She looked at Ludwig, and back at her friends.

"That dream WAS beautiful. We seemed so happy together. Even more than we are now." Jasmine thought to herself.

After thinking it over, Jasmine looked Ludwig in the eyes and let go of his hands.

"Jasmine?" Ludwig said.

"Ludwig, I really loved that vision. And I would be over the moon if we got married and started a family one day. But, I'm sorry. It can't happen this way." She explained.

"W-What? Jasmine...You still don't understand?" Ludwig asked.

"No Ludwig. You don't understand. I don't know how I can get through to you," Jasmine reached into her pocket and took out a Fire Flower, "But if I have to fight you to make you stop, then I will."

Ludwig stared at his girlfriend in disbelief. He growled and shook his head.

"You know what? Fine Jasmine! If you beat me, I'll give Skylar his empire back and free everyone. But if you lose, I stay emperor." He said.

"Alright! Let's finish this!" Daisy said, preparing to fight. Jasmine held her hand up to her.

"No guys. This time it's one-on-one." She replied.

"Are you sure? We have enough power-ups to help you out." Mario said.

"Thanks Mario. But I got this."

Mario and the others backed away as Ludwig and Jasmine stared at each other.

"Let's hope she can stop him." Luigi whispered to Mario and Daisy.

"I can't believe you wanna do this, Jasmine!" Ludwig said.

"I don't wanna fight you, but if it's the only way, then that's what I gotta do!" Jasmine replied.

Growling again, Ludwig used his wand and shot blue energy blasts at Jasmine. She dodged each one, making her friends cheer. She threw fireballs at Ludwig, but before he could get hit, Ludwig jumped into the air and began to flutter jump. Once he landed on the ground, Jasmine jumped on his head. Ludwig screamed and retreated into his shell. Jasmine avoided Ludwig's shell as he began to spin around the area.

Once Ludwig was out of his shell, he spit a few fireballs at Jasmine. Jasmine dodged them and threw fireballs at Ludwig, hitting him. Ludwig retreated into his shell again and spun around the area. Unfortunately for Jasmine, Ludwig was able to hit her this time, making her lose her power-up.

"No!" Jasmine cried. Ludwig stopped spinning and popped out of his shell again. He shot more energy blasts at Jasmine, but she got out of the way in time.

"I need to get another power-up! But which one?" Jasmine thought to herself.

Jasmine reached into her pocket and pulled out a Super Star.

Jasmine grinned. "Perfect!"

"Oh no..." Ludwig thought as he saw Jasmine pull out her favorite power-up.

Ludwig tried to run away from Jasmine once she used the Super Star. Mario and the others couldn't help but chuckle as they watched Jasmine chase Ludwig around the area. Pretty soon, Jasmine finally caught up to Ludwig and ran into him, knocking the Koopaling down. Soon the Super Star wore off and Jasmine cheered. Ludwig sighed as he lied on the ground.

"You did it Jasmine! You saved the Cloud Empire!" Daisy cheered.

"Yeah! I did!" Jasmine replied.

Jasmine looked over at Ludwig, who was still on the ground. She walked over to him and knelt down.

"So, it's over huh? I'm back to being a prince and Baron." Ludwig sighed.

"Oh Ludwig..." Jasmine reached into her pocket and handed him a 1-Up Mushroom. Ludwig sighed again as he took the 1-Up Mushroom and ate it.

After being silent for a few minutes, Jasmine spoke again.

"Luddy, I know that you would be a great ruler. But taking over someone else's kingdom or empire isn't the right way. After we free everyone, you and I can go talk to your parents about it." Jasmine said.

"No, I...I don't think I wanna talk about it with them. At least not yet." Ludwig replied, feeling defeated.

"Well, maybe we can go to an orchestra in Darkland or another kingdom! I'm sure that'll cheer you up!" Jasmine smiled sweetly.

A small smile appeared on Ludwig's face. "Yeah. I'd like that."

"Great! Now let's go free everyone!" Jasmine said.

Emperor Skylar and the others sat up when they heard footsteps entering the dungeon. As the footsteps got closer and closer, they saw Ludwig along with Jasmine and her friends. Ludwig grabbed the keys to the cells and unlocked both, freeing everyone.

"Yay! We're free!" Cyrus and Skyla cheered as they ran out of the cell.

"Wow! You guys did it! Thank you so much!" Amaya said.

The monarchs then looked at Ludwig, who tried to avoid their gazes.

"I...Uh..."

Jasmine held his hand and looked at everyone.

"Ludwig is very sorry for taking over the empire and locking everyone in here. He won't do it again." Jasmine said.

"It...Well, it's not ok! My children were scared! You attacked our home! I should have you banned from ever coming back here!" Skylar exclaimed.

"Oh no! Sir, please don't ban Ludwig or the rest of the Koopas! I promise he won't try to take it again." Jasmine said.

"I really do love this place." Ludwig added.

"Dad? Maybe we should give him another chance." Cyrus said.

"Yeah. I mean, he was pretty nice when we first met him, even if he was in a disguise." Skyla replied.

"Kids..." Emperor Skylar said. He looked at his wife Amaya. Then he looked at Iris, Aire, Tempest, and Zephyr.

After thinking it over, Skylar looked back at Jasmine and Ludwig.

"Alright. I'll give you one chance. But if you or your family tries to take over the empire again, you will be banned." Skylar said.

"T-Thank you!" Ludwig smiled.

"Well, I guess we'll be going back to the Mushroom Kingdom." Mario said.

"Thank you again for your help." Zephyr replied.

"It's our pleasure!" Luigi smiled.

Everyone left the dungeon and made their way out of the castle. The other monarchs said goodbye and went through the warp pipes to return to their kingdoms. Mario, Luigi, and Daisy said goodbye to Jasmine and made their way to the Mushroom Kingdom. Jasmine waved to the royal family and walked to a warp pipe with Ludwig. They jumped through it and arrived at the Cumulus Kingdom.

"There's a concert hall here. We can go here to see the orchestra." Ludwig suggested.

"Sure! Lead the way!" Jasmine said.

Ludwig smiled and walked to the concert hall, Jasmine following next to him.

Originally this was going to be the final chapter, but I'm gonna make one more. I'll try to write it tomorrow or next week since I'll be very busy this weekend. I hope you all enjoyed this one!
