I wake up to a text from Jake telling me to come down to the Res. That we have to meet with the elders, and we have some business to discuss. As I wash up, the grey eyes meet me in the mirror and wonder how I'll explain that when school starts. I figured I'll worry about one thing at a time. Res business first. I run downstairs and grab some pop tarts before heading out the door. For some reason, the drive down to the Res feels different. There was some feeling of home this time. As I pull into to the council hall, I spot every elder's car and a few others. Entering the hall, I feel all eyes on me. A part of me wished Charlie was with me but seeing Billy, I know he will protect and defend me as Charlie would. The elders talk mostly between themselves. A few throw questions that should've been directed to me, but they felt they were better to answer. I turn to look at Jake and he just shakes his head. A slight warning to not speak. The elders were old school and mostly men. They wouldn't take to kindly for a girl to interrupt them. I feel my wolf demand me to speak up. I loudly clear my throat and wait for all of them to look my way. It takes Sam a little longer than the others. I can tell by his face he was still hurt about me being Alpha. Next to him was Paul. Though Paul is a great guy, was Sam's Beta. He would not be mine, the only person I know I can fully trust is Jake.

Bella: It's my turn to speak and your turn to listen. I understand the confusing aspect of this whole situation. None of us asked for it but this is what it is. We all don't know what will come from this or what to expect. Now, to my understanding, as Alpha. I am the leader of the pack and a leader to the community. Most importantly, a leader to the council. To answer the questions, being asked to each other instead of being asked to me. I will not move to the Res. My home is in Forks. The people there deserve protection too. I will do my duties to the Res, but I have my schooling and father in Forks. As far as the Cullens. You talked about the treaty that was formed many years ago by my great great grandfather. I will honor and respect his wishes. No harm will come to the Cullens unless they bite a human. *I noticed the head shaking and the ones about to speak. I put my hand up to silence before a word came out* Again. I AM THE ALPHA. I make the decisions. I do not need to discuss them with you. I just have to inform you about my decisions. As council, you are here to advise but not decide. Now, with me living in town, I can keep a better eye out with the Cullens. Paul was Sam's Beta. He is not mine. Sorry Paul. Jake will be my Beta and he will stand in my honor when I am not here. *Out the corner of my eye, I see Jake's surprise. I wonder how he could be shocked when he is my brother* Lastly, I phased the same as the others. My anger triggered my wolf. However, I felt very much in control. Hell, I feel very much in control right now even though I'm highly annoyed. Either way, I was able to phase back in hours, not days like the others. To make you feel better about me phasing in town. I will remind down here for a week. To show all of you that I'm in control of my wolf. Though you are older and possibly wiser. You are not me. You are not Alphas. The blood of the Great Chief and Alpha, Ezekiel Swan does not run through you, it runs through me. *I point right at my heart, hoping they get the passion behind my words* Even though I am female, I demand the respect as such. From this moment, any questions or concerns about ME will be directed to ME. Now I have things to discuss with my Beta. Council meeting dismissed.

I don't wait for any of them to reply. Instead, I walk to the door and out the corner of my eye, I see Billy with the biggest smile on his face. I take that as his approval. I look over to Jake and he walks after me.

Jake: whoa! I can not believe you just did that. I mean as Alpha you have every right to. Did you see their faces when you reminded them?! Wow dude. They probably have more respect for you. Maybe not Sam and Paul. I'm sure they're being little bitches right now. I'm just glad I don't have to listen to them. You really don't think the Cullens will be a problem? I've been dying to tell you all this, but you know, Sam and how he is. I'm so glad you're Alpha now. Seriously imagine having to listen to Sam for the rest of our lives.

Bella: geez Jake, breath… breath dude. But oh man, his face was priceless! I wish we had a camera! I honestly don't know about the Cullens, but I mean, they've honored their side of the treaty since they made it. They could've easily broken it and ran away. The wolves wouldn't have been able to chase them away from here. They can't leave the Res.

Jake: yeah, I guess you're right. Wanna phase and go run around the woods?

Bella: no, I actually want to spend the day with my dad. I want to know more about Ezekiel. What made him such a great Alpha. But you can run around. I'll come back and play fetch with you tomorrow.

Jake looked like he wanted to smack me but just said ok. I drop him off and head to the station. Hoping Charlie would let me take him to lunch. When I arrive, I see the same BMW from the other night. I wait for Dr. Cullen to come out. I just want to introduce myself and remind him of the treaty again. A very sweet smell overpowers my nose. My wolf growls to phase but I push it back down. We're not in danger. There are innocent humans around. I push him back in his cage. I look up to see Dr. Cullen standing 10 feet away with a look of shock on his face. I walk over to him with my hands up, letting him I mean no harm. I extend a hand to him, hoping I'm making the right decision.

Bella: Good morning, Dr. Cullen, my name is Isabella Swan. But please call me Bella. I am the great great granddaughter of the Great Chief Ezekiel Swan. I just wanted to introduce myself and was hoping you have a minute to talk.

He reaches out to shake my hand and I quickly snatch it back. His hand was beyond cold. And I now understand why they call them the cold ones.

Carlisle: Sorry we run a lot colder. And yes of course, I think we have a lot to discuss. Thank you for introducing yourself, Bella. I thought Sam was Alpha?

Bella: Thank you for being open to talking. Well, he was until I phased. It's my first day on the job actually.

Carlisle: And you were able to phase back already? You have your wolf in control already? Chief Swan would be very proud if he was here. We had a really good friendship actually. He told me many things about the wolves. You can imagine my surprise about you because he said only males phased.

Bella: yours? Imagine my surprise when I saw I had paws doc.

We both chuckled. Being this close to him, I can smell he's not as sweet smelling as the wolf from the woods. I see he has golden eyes. Not the bright red the tribe stories talk about. And I can see kindness in his eyes. Yeah, nothing like the tribe stories. Their vampires' eyes held nothing but blood lust. Not doc's. His definitely held kindness, care, some humanity.

Carlisle: please call me Carlisle. Bella, I just want you to know. My family and I, don't mean any harm to any people, here in town, on the Res. Honestly this whole earth… In fact, we feed only on animals. That's why our eyes are gold and not red. I respected Chief Swan very much. I extend that same respect to you. I promise you; my family will follow suit. I would be honor if you came to our house for dinner one day. Let everyone get to know each other. You can bring another wolf if you want.

Bella: hold on Dr. Cullens, sorry Carlisle. Thank you for the invite but I do not plan to be vampire food. Or sit across the table while you drink blood from a cup.

I raise an eyebrow and smile at him. He chuckles a little and shakes his head.

Carlisle: well, if we're being honest Bella, you guys don't smell very appetizing. You smell better than the others but still not appetizing. *His fingers mimic a drum roll in the air. Causing me to actually laugh with the vamp* I would just like to get to know you better. You are a lot younger than expected. I'm sure you heard about the treaty. I would just like my family and I to plead our case if you wanted to change it or anything.

I hold my hand up before he can talk more.

Bella: the treaty still stands and will stand as long as you don't bite a human. If you are different from the others as you say you are. We should have no problem. As far as dinner, I'll take a rain check for now. One day when I'm more in control. I have good control right now with you but let's not test it with a room full of your family. Just know for sure doc, my wolves will respect my decision. Your family will not be harmed.

Carlisle: thank very much Bella. Just so you know, my children will be attending school at Forks High next month. Their names are Edward, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice and Jasper. You have my word they will behave. They have been attending school for many years now. No accidents ever.

Bella: gotcha doc. I guess I will see them there.

Carlisle: you go to school in town?

Bella: I live in town. You know better way to keep my eyes on the new residents. I hear they're kind of weird.

Carlisle: *chuckles* you remind me of the chief. Here's my card. When you're ready for that dinner, give me a call. I'm sure my wife, Esme would love to meet you. You'll meet the kids soon, but they'll join us too. If there's anything you ever need, please don't hesitate to call me.

Bella: thanks doc. I'll send you a text so you can lock me in.

I wait till he drives off and head inside to drag Charlie to lunch. We head to the diner and it's as if nothing changed. I will, one day tell him how much I appreciate his chill. I let him know about the council meeting and about me spending the week at the Res. I'm sure I can crash at Jake's. Considering Billy is a council member, everyone will sleep better. He tells me he'll miss me, but he understands my new job. Makes a joke about how the family business is protecting people. He tells me, he's proud of me for making mature decisions and that my great great grandfather will be proud too. I feel my wolf smile. When we're done, I drive him back to the station and head home to pack. I send Jake a text and he tells me of course I can crash. To hurry up so we can see who's faster. The week goes by quickly. I am able to phase at will. It wasn't as painful as the first time. It's almost as if it's completely normal. I run drills with the guys. We find out that I'm faster, stronger, and my senses are a lot better than the other guys. I become familiar with the different smells of my pack. I start to embrace my wolf more. Which makes him smile. When I phase, I feel myself more in control. It's almost as if we have an understanding of who's boss. The rest of the summer goes about the same. I spend most of my time down at the Res. Running patrol with the guys. Jumping off the cliffs. Swimming in the ocean. There was so much freedom to be in my wolf form.

One day on patrol, we come across some vampire scents. I can recognize Carlisle's in a heartbeat. There are 5 other vampire scents, I'm guessing his wife and kids. But there's also one other scent. It's not the burning sweet smell like the others. In fact, I kind of like it. Reminds me of the ocean breeze. My favorite smell. It's not the salty water smell. It's the nice summer day, wind blowing ocean breeze. I love the way it smells. I feel my wolf jump for joy. I stand there for a second just enjoying it. When we get back to the house, I ask Jake if he smelt it but he says no, he could only smell the vamps.

After our run, I head home to make dinner for me and Charlie. Spending all summer down at the Res was not my plan but it also wasn't too bad. I was really enjoying getting to know my wolf. We also discover that I can select what thoughts I want to share with the pack. Sam was never able to do that. Through their thoughts, I could see how they still struggled with their wolves. I do what I can to help them. Talking them through phasing and how to control their wolf. Besides the moments when I spoke to them, Jake was the only one who I let access my thoughts. We also noticed that he now has the power to do the same. After dinner I quickly shower and jump in bed. I try to force myself to fall asleep. Right before closing my eyes, my wolf remembers the ocean breeze and my body relaxes. I fall into a deep sleep with my wolf smiling.

My alarm is blaring, and I roll over to the much too soon morning. I quickly realize I feel something below my stomach. I rise my covers to look, and I see it…. I have a dick. I, ISABELLA MARIE SWAN, HAVE A DICK. I scream and hope this is a dream. Charlie runs into the room half asleep with his bat. I quickly cover myself and yell at him to get out. He walks out and I pull my cover off again. Nope it's still there.

Charlie: Bella what's wrong? What happen?

Bella: can you call Carlisle?! Call Billy and Jake too!

Charlie: not till you tell me what's wrong. Is this a wolf thing? Are you hurt?

Bella: Dad please!

Charlie: tell me now Isabella!

When he says my full name, I know he's not going to drop it and I would have to show him. There's no hiding it considering I would have to tell the others. I put on my sweatpants and slowly go to open the door. Charlie looks at me and I just point down at my pants. Considering my pants aren't loose, the print is very clear.

Charlie: is that?

Bella: yeah

Charlie: I'll go make those calls.

After a while I hear 2 cars pull up at the same time. I grab my cover and start making my way downstairs. I easily hear Billy ask Carlisle what's he doing here and that he has no right to be here. Charlie runs outside and I hear him telling Billy to cut his shit because I asked for Carlisle. I chuckle at imaging Billy's face upon hearing Charlie. Jake steps inside and quickly goes to open the window. I see him shaking and I tell him to get it under control. His jaw locks and his body instantly stops. I see a thank you in his eyes. He's told me before that he appreciates my help in controlling his wolf. Just till he has full control. Billy comes in with a look of annoyance. Carlisle has a kind smile on his face. No matter what they believe about the vampires, Carlisle eyes show nothing but kindness. Charlie has only had great things to say about him. How he's helped so many in town already. Even if they don't have the money to pay, he still treats them. It doesn't surprise me when he stands to the side to give Billy and Jake space. Regardless of how hostile Billy is, Carlisle keeps his cool.

Carlisle: what can I do for you Bella?

Billy: did he break the treaty? I told you they weren't any different.

I shake my head before speaking.

Bella: Billy you will show respect to my guest. The Cullens have NOT broken the treaty. I called you all here because of this…

I stand up and point to the imprint my dick is making… my dick… that's going to take some time to get use to.

Jake: is that? What the fuck?

Bella: somebody please explain this.

Carlisle: could this be a wolf thing?

He looks back and forth between Jake and Billy.

Billy: I honestly don't know. We've never had a female wolf before. Is it, real?

Bella: I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't.

Carlisle: Bella, I know this might be uncomfortable, but would you mind if I check you out?

Billy quickly moved in between Carlisle and me.

Billy: you will not touch her.

Bella: Billy, I already told you, you will respect my guest, or you can leave. THIS is not up to you. *He throws me an annoyed glare but moves to the side* Carlisle, uh, well, as uncomfortable as I'm sure I'll feel. I really need some answers.

Carlisle: care to come with me to the hospital? We need to do some blood work. Billy, you and Jake can come with us too. If it will bring you comfort, seeing she will be ok in my hands.

And that's exactly why I like the doc. Though Billy has a hard time showing respect, doc still gives it back. They all look at me and I nod my head. I ask Charlie if I can ride with him. Carlisle lets us know he'll go ahead to get everything ready. I run upstairs to change. And I quickly realize my jeans won't be comfortable. I throw on some looser sweats with a long hoodie. Run back downstairs and hop in the car with Charlie. I can tell he is worried and uncomfortable all at the same time. We're both in the same boat. We pull into the hospital and Carlisle comes out to meet us. We head up to his office where he has chairs for Charlie, Jake and Billy to sit in. He even opened the window for Jake. He leads me through a side door that connects to the exam room.

Carlisle: ok I want to do a full work up. We'll start with blood work and I'll need you to pee in a cup for me. I'll also have to, you know, see it and exam it.

I tense at the thought but know it must be done. I need answers. I grab the cup and go to the bathroom. I've never held a dick in my life. But at least it's mine. I must admit, I'm impressed by the size. Could this be an Alpha thing? My wolf laughs at my thoughts. The only dick I've ever seen was Jake's and it was because I tricked him into showing me when we were 5. I'm sure his would be bigger now. At least I hope so. I chuckle at the thought and hope it is for the sake of any future girlfriend. I sigh and hold the cup to pee in. It's actually quite interesting that I don't have to sit down. I think about how now I can just whip it out and pee anywhere. Unfortunately, being new to this. I don't realize the heavy steam against a cup will have a splash back but luckily was able to get a good amount in the cup. I wipe everything down and wash up before heading back to the room. Sitting the cup down on the counter. He motions for me to sit on the table. He draws 8 tubes of blood and heads out to take them to the lab. When he comes back, I know it's time for him to see it. No point to prolong it. I drop my pants and stand as he looks at it.

Carlisle: I need to touch it. It's going to be cold and uncomfortable.

Bella: listen doc, this whole thing is uncomfortable. Just do what you have to do. I just need some type of answers.

He goes to grab it and I feel the coldness of his hand. He turns it and exams it. Reaches down and cups my balls. Yep have 2 of those apparently.

Carlisle: well Bella, it's very real.

Bella: yeah, no shit doc. Sorry I'm just, really freaked out about this.

Carlisle: it's completely understandable. You can pull up your pants and I'll go check on your labs. Meet me in the office?

I go to join the others and we all sit in silence together. After what feels like forever, Carlisle comes in with some papers that he's reading over.

Carlisle: well Bella, it looks like you're healthy as can be. All tests look good. Almost perfect. And after the exam, well it's good too. Billy, there's no possible history about any of this?

Billy: no as I've said before there's no record of any female wolves. Only thing we know is the phasing, the powers, and the wolf imprinting.

Carlisle: the wolf mating, right?

Billy: that's private tribe secrets.

Charlie: damn it Billy, this is my kid! If this wolf crap is harming her, you better open your mouth to the doc.

Before I say anything, I see a lightbulb go off in Jake's head.

Jake: what if that's it?

Bella: what?

Jake: Wolf imprinting. It's when our wolves find our soulmates right? There are theories that it makes our wolf stronger. Others believe it happens, so we have the best chances of passing down the wolf gene. It's like our wolf picks the person it feels is the best paired with their human.

Bella: what does that have to do with this?

Jake: well with you being a lesbian, your wolf knows you'd only mate with a female. So, the only chances to pass down the gene would be, you know with a female? I doubt Charlie wants to have another kid. So, you're the last chance to pass down the gene for your bloodline.

Bella: so, my wolf gave me a dick so I can have a kid? Great… Here I thought we were getting along great. Wait, why did it happen now? I've been a wolf all summer.

Carlisle: well Bella, did you imprint?

Bella: no… I don't think so. I've only been home and to the Res. I don't want to be with anybody here or there. I've seen through Sam, the way one feels for an imprint. I don't feel that way.

Jake: well maybe, it's just getting you ready.

Bella: sigh… whatever it is, it's annoying. Listen I don't want anyone outside of this room knowing this. Carlisle, doctor/patient, right?

Carlisle: of course, Bella. Not a word to anybody.

Bella: Billy, Jake, this goes to you guys too.

Jake: of course, not Bella. It's your body. We won't say a thing.

Bella: dad, are you ok?

Charlie: first I get a new puppy and now a son? How did I get so lucky?

I throw a pen at him before getting up to leave. It takes some adjustments to get use to my new little friend. Had to go shopping for new jeans and some boxer briefs, based off Jake's recommendations. I must admit, they're quite comfortable. Jake has actually been a huge help in all this. Charlie lets me know he's around if I need anything. But it still feels awkward to talk about with him. He offered to give me the birds and the bees talk but I just rolled my eyes at him.
